There was said to be some talk within TNA about changing the way they do house show events by using two different crews and concentrating on smaller markets reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
TNA has been prone to make more money in smaller towns because building costs and promotional costs are much lower with less major league entertainment coming to town. They also end up outdrawing bigger markets in these small towns as well.
As an example, doing a $30,000 gross in a small market is successful, but running a major city and having to hire union workers and advertising costs being higher means that show isn't as successful. TNA has had a hard time drawing in bigger markets and considering they run a six match show, they would easily have enough talent on the roster to run two shows in two different markets. While nothing has been finalized, it is possible this could be taking place later in the year.

Don West's persona in TNA is being completely patterned after WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Fellow announcer Mike Tenay was Heenan's best friend in World Championship Wrestling so he knows how to work with West to make him shine.

If they're really basing Don Wests "heel" work off of the brain, then West must not know who Heenan is. Don west is an absolutely terrible announcer and even putting Don West's name in the same sentence with Bobby Heenan is a disgrace.
He needs to go back to selling baseball cards.
