Thats the one, I never saw it on sale in the UK anywhere in 94, not sure if anyone else did tho. Thanks for the pic, the box would have been a lot better if it had the Bret figure fighting Yoko and Taker vs Lex or somethin, like the original box with Warrior Hulk Rude and MAcho

yup, im 99% sure that the yellow ring was a US only release. I remember my friend getting that back when it came out. I never cared for it. I think he got the ring and then got a yokozuna red carded figure. I HAD to have the yokozuna figure, and went out and got it the next day at Meyer's on Rt 18 in east brunswick, NJ. When he was there he also said he saw a green carded 123 kid figure, but that was gone when i went there. I never got a green card, but got all the red cards, then i lost interest in the figures and never collected again until 8+ years later. Another small story, its really stupid though.
Back in my delinquent days YEARS AGO, you could retract a bid on ebay at ANY time during the auction. It was a MAJOR loophole. So, when i decided to buy my first loose 123 kid on ebay, i had 2 usernames. The first name i used to bid $71 for the auction. Then, bid 70 with the other name. With the current bid of 70$, i knew no one would want it/snipe it for the duration of the auction. So within the last few seconds you would put in your bid retraction on the second username that bid $70, and the bid would go back down to the minimum, i think it was $6. BAM, presto! 123 kid for $6. Now, you can't do that anymore, you can only retract with more that 12 hours left.
Those were the good ole' days. pretty shady, but thank god i dont do that stuff anymore.

Heres how stupid I am. I had the yellow ring and got good use out of it. But when we moved back in 2004, I ditched it with other stuff I had no use for anymore. Now I got back into collecting this past year and I'm kicking myself in the ass for throwing it out.

How wrong I was!

Ah thanks for the info. A moment of silence for Woolworths please.
I wish in 93/94 I had been more into getting figures, but unfortunately my parents weren't the types who would just buy me toys for the hell of it, I had to work to earn any gifts. And I couldn't be bothered to do any work because I was too busy playing with my figures. A vicious Hasbro circle. I wish I knew what the inspiration was behind Hasbro making a yellow ring, its an unusual colour scheme for a WWF ring

Just picked this up: cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130316663460&viewitem=&salenotsupported Its mint condition, no sign of any U.K stickers over the u.s like the figures had, makes me believe this ring was a us only.

Yes - the yellow ring was indeed released in the UK.
I'm from Britain, and my best mate had the yellow ring (when we were kids)
Not sure about Ireland though, sorry.

I remember seeing it - although limited. Your right mate - it was mega-limited. I still remember that day I went round my friend's house, to see his yellow king of the ring - and his mother told me, the amount of shops they had to go in to find one. it's a bit like the green card MOCS (series 11) they were released in Britain, but they were very limited, the UK didn't get a big supply.
