- Mike Johnson is reporting that Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett had another round of meetings with FOX Network executives last week. If TNA works out a deal with FOX, they could be on multiple networks. TNA is of the mindset that they will have a two hour show this fall either on Spike TV or with whomever they sign a TV deal with. There is also talk of TNA producing a live TV show.
- Despite rumors of TNA having interest in Nidia coming in to be apart of LAX, she has not been contacted by the company.
- from Jonathan Botcherby: I was watching TV today and noticed that Bravo(a UK TV station)is airing an advert for amongst other things, TNA wrestling. The interseting thing is that they actually use a slightly modified Brian Kendrick Jakks pacific action figure as a "presenter",telling viewers about these shows. I can't see this lasting long if WWE has its way.
TNA Impact had its third largest average audience ever (191 telecasts).
Airing on Thursday 7/19 from 9-10p, the telecast averaged a 1.17 HH rating, with a .84 in M18-49, a .77 in M18-34, a .95 in M25-34 and an average audience of 1.5 million viewers.
