Futurama's about as funny as King of the Hill. Meaning, not funny at all. Yeah, pretty much. I've always viewed it as a poor man's Simpsons.

Screw all of you jackasses, King of the Hill is far and away an awesome cartoon. If it sucked it wouldnt have lasted as long as it did, and futurama is awesome, just like how family guy died and came back from the dead.. Futurama will do great for ratings.

Simpsons has been garbage for years now, even though the movies weren't that great, I'm sure the new episodes will be more fresh and entertaining than a show that should have ended after Phil Hartman died and Conan stopped writing.

Conan stopped writing at the beginning of the 5th season though. You really think it should have stopped then?

Yeah, I know that didn't sound that great. Yes, I'm also aware that Simpsons still is somewhat popular and still generates money for Fox even though in my opinion, the show hasn't been funny in 10 years.

Yeah, I know that didn't sound that great. I can't completely disagree with that. I don't think that Phil's characters were THAT pivitol to the show, but it was around that time the quality really started to fall off and they could have just called it a wrap. I would like to note though that if anybody should be blamed for the downfall of The Simpsons, it should be Mike Scully. He was effectively the Vince Russo of The Simpsons.

The Simpsons was great until about Season 10, then it started to decline, then by Season 15 it was bad, and now it's just on life support. There's still some funny bits every now and then, but not like the old way that there'd be 100 laughs each episode.
In a way, I don't want it to be cancelled though. It was a big part of my childhood/entertainment for the past several years, and it would seem weird to have it not be there anymore.
