Orton/Triple-h was just lackluster possilby in part because of how great HBK/Taker's match was. The match had good build up, but it was executed so poorly.
I still think LT vs Bam Bam was by far the worst though

^ Actually, L.T. wrestled Bam Bam at 'Mania XI (11), not X (10). And that would be my choice for worst WrestleMania main event. Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow. Just god-awful, in my opinion. You are correct, it was WM 11 and it was simply awful. If there was one saving grace, watching a HOF NFL player completely gassed at the end of the match blew a few holes in the "wrestlers aren't athletes" theory.

L.T. vs BAM BAM was the worst but HHH vs RKO is right up there

Idk if it gets much worse than WM 25. From the looks of the voting, that's the dominant sentiment on WrestlingFigs.com.

I voted for Lawrence/Bam-Bam, but absolutely no one expected that match to be decent, so I almost feel like my vote should have gone to Randy Orton/Triple H. Without question, the most uneventful, lackluster Wrestlemania event of all time and it killed all of the intensity and fire that feud had gained in months prior.

Orton/HHH. That was pure crap. Me and my friends were talking about the HBK and Taker match during it, and we hardly cared.

Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow, that was just an HORRENDOUS match. But you do have to put HHH vs RKO in WM25, that was a lackluster match.

Oh geez LT vs Bam Bam for sure. It was awful and I felt bad for Bam Bam to deal with that crap... But hey at least Bam Bam got Main Event at WM!!!

WM 25. However the ending to Hogan/Sid at WM VIII was a cluster f*ck.

I go with Hogan v. Sid. For all of you saying Orton/HHH ... the match itself wasn't bad, it just wasn't appropriate for how the fued was built. Objectively, watch some of those other main events from WM's past and I guarantee you quite a few are worse than Orton/HHH.

WMXXV, if only for the letdown in terms of the build-up.
The others are naff for their own reasons, but this years should've been better, really...

I get that a returning Warrior was a big deal but I don't understand Papa Shango's involvment at all. I still think the main event should have been Hogan vs. Flair, with Sid interfering to stop Hulk from winning the title, then Warrior making the save. Macho Man could have won the belt later on. It's not like he was the next big star who needed a WM main even win to propel him to the next level.

I said WM 13, especially considering it was supposed to be an amazing hbk v hart rematch and it turned into absolute crap. WM 25 was also terrible but I think in a few years we will consider it just another bad match not the worst ever. WM 11 was clearly bad but I at least had some interest in it because of all the hype.

Orton and Triple H was awful, just awful. I'd rather watch Bam Bam and L.T.

Shawn Michaels/Diesel at WrestleMania XI was almost as bad as LT/Bigelow.
Thank God they had a classic later on down the road.

Shawn Michaels/Diesel at WrestleMania XI was almost as bad as LT/Bigelow. Thank God they had a classic later on down the road. It wasn't on par with the IYH match in '96 but it was still good. Diesel wasn't great in the ring but he sold well and the match told a good story. Also, the match had HBK, who can carry anyone to a passable match.
