Shawn Michaels/Diesel at WrestleMania XI was almost as bad as LT/Bigelow. Thank God they had a classic later on down the road. yeah thats true.IYH:Good Friends.....Better Enemies eclipsed WM11 easily That's often an overlooked HBK classic. It doesn't have the high spots of other Shawn matches but it had a nasty tone and some stiff shots. I have to give credit to VinnyMac too. He was a big reason why the match suceeded dramatically. Standing over Shawn, who had just been put through a table, and begging him, "Let it be over. Just let it be over."--Great stuff.

Using another mans fake leg as a weapon makes an automatic classic lol.

Hulk Hogan vs. Sid Justice was atrocious in every way. If it weren't for Hogan's 'goodbye', Savage/Flair would have and should have gone on last.
Orton vs. Triple H wasn't a bad match, it was just extremely underwhelming for what it should have been.

When Hulk is the better worker in a given match, the odds of something good happening are very low. I still don't understand Vince's fascination with Sid.

I don't understand ANY promoter's fascination with Sid. His whole career is a big "what the hell...?"

Though that statement kind of makes Hogan/Warrior from WrestleMania 6 an interesting dynamic.

Though that statement kind of makes Hogan/Warrior from WrestleMania 6 an interesting dynamic. Hulk and Warrior went all out that day. Unlike a lot of their other matches, this one has held up well over time. Warrior was more controlled, so there weren't a lot of botched spots and for the first time since '84, Hulk was actually trying to make someone else seem like his equal.

WM 25 was pretty bad
At least the build up for LT/Bam Bam was good, and that match was pretty much what you expected. It shouldn't have been the main event.
Hogan/Sid was awesome...the shango botch...the return of the Warrior...come on now

^ Actually, L.T. wrestled Bam Bam at 'Mania XI (11), not X (10). And that would be my choice for worst WrestleMania main event. Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow. Just god-awful, in my opinion. You are correct, it was WM 11 and it was simply awful. If there was one saving grace, watching a HOF NFL player completely gassed at the end of the match blew a few holes in the "wrestlers aren't athletes" theory. A-MEN!

I've only seen the last two choices so I choose the wm 25 main event because it was boring and the wrong person won.

Well let me say this I knew Orton vs HHH was'nt going to be good. THEY HAVE NEVER HAD A GOOD MATCH. Both work really too much alike for the match to had been any good. I think triple h works to much like a heel to be a face. And Orton has just gone completely off-course of his match style from 04-06.
SID vs HOGAN people should have known wasnt going to be a good match. i mean its SID and Hogan for god sakes.
I gotta go with WM 25 of the sheer fact that the buildup was classic they should have had a HHH vs Taker esqe match from WM17 encounter and this was just so anticlamatic

Honestly, after watching every Mania, I have to go with Orton v HHH as the worst WM Main Events ever. For how great the fued was built, they absolutely ruined everything within a span of 15 minutes. First off the match had that crappy stip at the beginning, and never caught a smooth flow throughout the match. The crowd obviously wanted Orton to finally win, but obviously HHH's ego thought otherwise. Not only did they bury every fan in Houstons hopes, but they buried all of Orton's credibility in the process. And adding more crapon top of the already heaping pile that match was, HHH won via a sledgehammer shot. that match sucked soooooooo bad.

This year's. I don't get how people can vote for Hogan-Sid or Taylor-Bigelow. Both of those matches lived up to expectations. They were exactly what they said on the tin.
HHH vs Orton was just so horribly conceived. For months they built up a hugely personal storyline where Hunter wanted to kill Randy because Randy had destroyed his family. Then all of a sudden, on the night they just have a bog-standard wrestling match where the championship is important. People were expecting a huge brawl to settle the score. It was an awful, awful letdown. I can't even begin to comprehend why they did it that way. Even Flair said the same thing in his recent shoot interview with Piper, and he kisses Hunter's ass whenever he can.

I'm probably the only person on this planet that liked the LT/Bam Bam match. Triple H/Randy Orton not so much.

I think every fan has a right to expect the last match at Wrestlemania to be a classic. Putting Sid, a terrible worker, in one match and a non-wrestler in another match was a recipe for disaster. So I'd agree that they lived up to expectations because I expected both of them to suck in a colossal way.

It was pretty close with 7's and 25's. But I picked 25. Simply because I paid for 25's.

I have to say Randy Orton Vs Triple H Worst ending ever Orton should of won and it was Like a match on raw 10 - 15 Minutes? That was not a Wrestlemaina Main event material. HHH And Orton storyline has got very boring now anyway.

TBH I was expecting somthing similar to Austin/Rock at WM15, brawling out the ring most match along with a couple near-falls. Orton/HHH wasnt great but it didnt suck. Imo the right person won. Orton won last year and since 25 is an important number they wanted a happy ending like WM20. Simple logic. I just hated the finishers in the beging.
