Shane Douglas suffered a bad twisted ankle at the onset of his match with Daniels, which explains why it never got out of first gear. He was hurting bad when he returned to the locker room. I hope to have an update later.

Good. His spot can go to someone that can actually work and use the rub.
Back to Target for you Shane Douglas... and leave your leg tassles at the entrance.

To be fair, a lot of people are saying the match was pretty good. I mean, we can cut Shane Douglas some slack: he's older, he's gained a bit of weight and he likely was still shaking off ring rust.

Ahh that sucks for Him, I saw him ending up in TNA again soon even though he lost the 2nd chance Match last night, However one thing that does need to change is that Black T-shirt he wears...

Regardless of the ankle Douglas managed to gut it out last night and that match far exceeded my expectations. I figured Daniels would have to carry the old man but he didn't. I'm a big fan of Douglas so I hope he can drop a some weight, lose the farmers tan, and stick around for a little while. He is great on the mic and has the ability to elevate some of the younger talent.

Inevitable, he has no place being in the ring these days. Him and his farmer's tan can go back to Target now.

From seeing his match against AJ Styles I wasn't expecting much. It's sad what's become of Douglas. Back in the ECW days he was a total bada$$ and I really enjoyed his matches.
I think TNA should stick with making him a manager or hell put him behind the mic with Tenay.

unfortunately douglas' time has passed. i didn't think his match against daniels was bad at all, but it's nothing compared to what he used to be

IMO, I think if he stays with TNA he should have a backstage role like he had in 2006 or whatever. Anyways, I hope he has a speedy recovery.
