Not sure this is is a spoiler or not since it doesn't really say the out come or anything.
---
Dan Lark sent word that Carolina indy workers Mikael Judas and Phill Shatter will be debuting as Mick Foley's security guys (ala Ron & Don Harris - and boy does that date me) at the tapings tonight. This is an extended tryout, but may lead to something bigger.

Hopefully they get signed. TNA's picking out good unknown talents imo.

There are so many indy workers that TNA could bring in and these 2 get opportunities? Shame on TNA.

I'd take proven Independent Wrestlers, such as Vin Gerard, over relative unknowns, like Phil Shatter(who I believe had a mach with Vladmir Kozlov last year) any day.

It is hypocritical to get what you want (unknowns over "former wwe wrestlers) no matter if they're "proven" indy wrestlers. Also, how is Vin a "proven" indy worker yet Shatter isn't? Shatter debuted in 2002.

TECHNICALLY Shatter is a WWE reject as he was fired from development.

yeah, and his career has been in the Shatter since then. Tell me one big match he's had. Tell me one match that generated a lot of interest from the internet wrestling community, or even the mark mags. Diceman Ronnie Vegas has been wrestling around Indiana since the early 90s. Diceman Ronnie Vegas would be the last person I'd recommend to any national TV deal. Because you've been wrestling since 2002 doesn't mean shit, especially if you're wrestling the same guys every weekend, one weekend a month.

It's not bad that TNA is hiring unknown indy guys, but imo, they should be going for guys in CHIKARA, ROH, PWG, etc. They have more talent, which is why they are in the top independent promotions in the United States. Like if TNA signed Bryan Danielson for example, Bryan Danielson fans are going to tune into TNA to watch him. And Danielson has way more fans than Judas or Shatter.

Like if TNA signed Bryan Danielson for example, Bryan Danielson fans are going to tune into TNA to watch him. And Danielson has way more fans than Judas or Shatter. It's not so much that I have a problem with people not liking TNA signing guys like Judas or Shatter. It's just almost everyone complains about the "unknowns" TNA has signed (Creed, Deaner, NO LIMIT, Kiyoshi, etc) just because it's not guys they wanted. You have to reliaze something just because you don't like Shatter or Judas or never heard of them - doesn't mean they shouldn't be signed. If they can wrestle, why not give them a try out? You use ROH, CHIKARA, PWG guys as an example. Yet, when it was rumored (or whatever) that Danielsons contract was coming up with ROH people were all "NO DONT GO TO TNA" or "THEY'LL MIS-USE HIM". Why should TNA sign these guys if you're not even going to give them a chance? ROH fans will still look at Danielson as "The Best in The World" and if TNA doesn't push him to the main event people will complain (which I understand) but now if TNA signs both (or one) of them they have the "power" so to speak to make them whatever they want. Basically, make them what they want them to be without having a lot of people complaining because they're not what they were in the indy scene? Don't get me wrong - I would love to see guys like Danielson, Nigel (as part of the British Invasion), or Quack in TNA but I'm not going to write off two talented (imo) indy guys off just because they're not them. See what I mean? It's fine to want "bigger indy names" but just because you don't get them it's no reason to write others off before you get a good look at them.

NO LIMIT is from the second biggest wrestling company in the world. It sounds like you are implying they are from some random company no one knows about except ten people.

yeah, and his career has been in the Shatter since then. Damnit! Beat me to it... I too, would much rather see TNA sign independant workers that are KNOWN nationwide and give them a chance. Super Smash Brothers, Young Bucks ( althought I think ROH signed them ), etc. These are teams that are young and could do something in the company. Simply put, being a "bodyguard" in TNA is NEVER a good thing. Especially when it's a tag team. - Triple S

The funny thing, all this bickering, and if I saw correctly, neither of em were there, as it appeared to be Sallyboy and Rocko tonight. I wasn't paying 100% attention, but it appeared to be the same guys as always.
