To be honest, Billy Mays' death has affected me more than MJ's death, because unlike MJ, I actually heard positive things about Mays, and I saw him on my television every day. I have nothing against MJ, and his death is sad, but I'm sick of seeing "RIP Michael Jackson" in everybody's signature, on tv, and in everyone's name. It's overkilling it. It's also quite annoying when everybody is listening to Michael Jackson songs over and over. I hear positive things about MJ too, like how he is one of the greatest entertainers ever maybe? Obviously MJ's death will have more effect on people than Mays death. Yes. But that's about one of the few things positive about him. A few years ago, almost everyday, all I saw on CNN or some other news channel was, "Michael Jackson Accused of Child Mollestation." Should I look up to someone who was accused of mollesting a child? MJ's death is a huge loss to the music world, and I hope he RIP, but I'm not going to get all depressed because of this. MJ's death was both shocking and sad the first day, the next day I just forget about it. I'm not saying that people who looked up to MJ shouldn't mourn his death. I'm just saying everyone needs to tone it down a little because his death was a few days ago. |

Could care less if he was proven guilty or not...you're out of your mind if you believe this guy(who was abused as a child) didn't touch kids at his RANCH MADE FOR CHILDREN WITH HIS STATUES OF CHILDREN...guy was a  ing creep...made great music but he ed kids. |

You do realize that Michael Jackson's death is a big deal? We've lost one of the most Famous men in the world and one of the Musical greats who's going down in history. Learn to deal with it, its staying for a long long time. To be honest, I haven't heard anything more bigger than 9/11 but that's just me.

it'll naturally die down but the impact will be felt for some time i beleive. also everythime the legal stuff is in the news it gets brought up. The sad thing is that its about to turn into a saide show with all the court crap and we all know how the media likes the drama. lets just hope his legacy as a pop icon continues to shine through these times.
