Michael Jackson was proven innocent in a court of Law by a judge and jury who adhere to the laws of the United States of America. I think it's a bad way to base your opinions on him based on something that it's been proven that greedy parents were trying to use their kids to take advantage of him. Using that theory, Chris Benoit is innocent of murder because he was never proven guilty in a court of law......We all know how this argument would turn out. MJ touched kids. He was a freak. He looked like an alien...He had good music and a moonwalk that Michael PS Hayes made famous (joke). But he's dead now and toys r us is a safer place without him /the end |

In my opinion, Michael Jackson's life makes for perhaps the most intriguing psychological story in American history.
A young black boy from Indiana is thrust from birth into the performing arts, always trained to "be one step ahead," and "be different," with the American public gawking at his talent the way we do when we look at animals at the zoo. A human who lives simply to perform and entertain.
But because of his associating being different and being one step ahead with the ultimate joy and the ultimate pleasure...the money, the fame, the everything, Michael continued to incorporate this into his life to the ultimate extent. It brought him unparallel fame, money, and glory, but he couldn't get enough. He incorporated being one step ahead and being different - interpreting "the norm" and the "status quo" as boring - into every aspect of his life, with business ventures, life decisions, investments, and unfortunately, even his sex life.
It was killing him, and he couldn't keep up. He turned to the medicines to ease the pain that came as a side affect to "being different" - what he had given his life to - and they took him straight into the ground.

I don't know why people have to come in this thread and bash Michael Jackson. The only assumption I can make as to why certain members are coming on here and insulting the man are to annoy everyone else.

The whole "He was found innocent" is Hypocrisy... I'm sure most of you still saw OJ in a dimmer light...
The whole ordeal is bad yes... a son, brother, friend, and most importantly father died, which is always a tragedy... However, say President Bush opened up his ranch for a bunch of kids to come play at, I'm pretty sure that most of you Jackson "fans" would bury Bush the same way people bury MJ...
The bottom line is, that none of us knew anything about Michael Jackson, and to argue one way or the other is you're prerogative... so Codesters™, please remember what the word Forum means and get over it

A couple of news sites are saying MJ left his kids a secret library of between 100-150 never before heard songs so that after he died they would be able to release them and have a sound financial future.

There is no question that there is material out there. It seems like more and more news stations are reporting that there are songs out there and even some video footage that can perhaps eventually be released. I mean they can really go back to the Victory or Bad Tour and finally release that stuff for DVD. Which fans have been begging for for years. The potential of things that can come forth is incredible. I just hope that his children don't get screwed out of it all in the end and they can continue to live off of their father as I'm sure he would have wanted. But as we all know this whole thing concerning his money and estate and everything is most likely going to continue to get ugly. |

Explain the difference - For years I had to watch people on here b*tch and complain and say very bad things about President Bush... there were jokes and intellectually- disabled person comments and the such, yet that was allowed to go on for years ( one thread in particular made me stay away from WF for a while because I feared I'd say something stupid and get banned) and yet when a man is accused of the ultimate crime, guilty or not, we're all supposed to act like it never happened?! I'm not saying he did or he didn't, but he made choices that opened him up to ridicule (like Bush) and it's not you're, or anyone else's place to tell someone not to look down on a pedophile (whether he was or not isn't the point, Bush never murdered anyone, yet still gets called a murderer). The fact is that some people think that a Lesbian will burn in hell, some people think wearing a short skirt will send you to hell, and some people think Jackson is a pedophile, personally I don't, but if someone wants to say that they think he his, it's justified, because there were settlements and accusations, and hoopla about it... |
