I finished this about a week ago. Man, I loved this. It kinda made me wish I was aware of it in its run.
I want to know some of your guys' views on this comic.
One thing that bugs me though, is the ending wasn't as great as I thought it would've been. Yes, it was great, really great, but I dunno... I think it lacked something... I can't put my finger on it.
And I can't wait for the movie, I know Shia Labeouf is rumored to star, and I think he would be perfect for the role of Yorick Brown.

It's an excellent series, one of my favorites. Tons of interesting characters and a great story.
As for the film, I wouldn't mind Shia, but I am not liking the idea of D.J Caruso directing at all. But it's been in production hell it seems for years, so I can't see it getting made anytime soon. If it is made though, it's been said that its being written in three parts much like Lord of the Rings, which makes sense, since it's a massive story.

Weird that you make a thread about this, as I just started rereading it yesterday after I dug up my small collection of graphic novels. I love it so much. And I heard that Labeouf doesn't want to play the role of Yorick, because it is too similar to the role of Sam in Transformers, but he also said it's still a possibility.

My friend recommended this to me a long time ago. I really need to check it out.

i don't overly like shia's acting but still would think he'd be a fitting yorick. i didn't enjoy the series near as much as a lot of others on this board but it was entertaining, and a pretty good story. the humor in it to me was tiresome, but for the most part it was an interesting story that hadn't really been done and was quite original. it also answered the question of what it would really be like if you were the only guy on earth.

I loved the series. I thought the first 1/3 was amazing, the second 1/3 was good, and the last 1/3 was kind of dragged out and so so. HOWEVER, I loved the ending, and thought it was perfect. I can't think of anything more fitting, and thought they wrapped it up nicely.
I don't know about Shia. I just...don't know.

Y: The Last Man is the greatest. BKV needs to get his ass back to comics full time.

I'm really enjoying the series so far. Right now, I'm on the "One Small Step" book.
