I've been reading about nWo Japan on the net lately, but different places have different info, and I was wondering if anybody could help me on who actually was a member and who wasn't.
Masa Chono, Hiro Saito, Tenzan, and Great Muta, they were the first four.
Michiyoshi Ohara was apparently a member, around Nov 97 from what I've read, I don't know when he joined.
Big Titan (fake Razor Ramon) joined them January 1998.
Satoshi Kojima was recruited by Muta in October 1998.
Tatutoshi Goto was apparently a second-stringer, but I have no idea when he joined.
AKIRA I've seen listed on some places, not on others. He was a member of Chono's Team 2000, but I don't know if he was nWo.
WCW guys in the group were Buff Bagwell, Scott Norton, Michael Wallstreet, nWo Sting, and Brian Adams.
Was Big Bubba ever a member of nWo Japan?
Did Louie Spicolli ever wrestle for them?
Is there anybody I left out? Any info is appreciated from you guys with puroresu knowledge.

I think Louie Spicolli just joined nWo in WCW in early 1998 as a bitchboy. But I can't remember.

Scott Norton, Fake Sting, & Buff Bagwell were in NWO Japan from the beginning.
Muta joined a few months later in May of 1997. He wasn't using the Great Muta gimmick at the time but during a match against Chono he went in the back and came out as the Great Muta and joined them.
Ohara & Goto were like the Nasty Boys in WCW. They thought they were being brought into the NWO but then the NWO turned on them so they started feuding with the NWO.
Don Frye from the UFC joined later.
I have a lot of NJPW TV DVDs from the start of the NWO to the end but since they are all in Japanese, which I don't understand, it's hard to follow any storylines.

He wasn't using the Great Muta gimmick at the time but during a match against Chono he went in the back and came out as the Great Muta and joined them. What are you talking about? When Muta joined the nWo, the match was GREAT MUTA & Chono vs. Sasaki & Yamazaki. Chono was part of the nWo at the time, but that was Muta's first time in the nWo. He even came out in nWo attire. The match where he came out as Muto but came back as Muta was in 1994. nWo Japan didn't start until 1997.

I haven't watched these in a while but here is what I have on my list:
NJPW Tv: 5/25/97 Chono vs. Great Muta-Muta joins NWO
It's been a few years so I got things mixed up. I just checked my DVD and what I have listed above is from Monday Nitro where Muta joined the NWO and turned on Sonny Ono but it was clips from a NJPW TV show. I was thinking it took place in Japan and I could have sworn I remembered something about Chono trying to recruit Mutoh but he kept refusing until he finally joined as Great Muta during a match. It was 12 years & i've had 4 kids since then so my memory isn't what it used to be.
I do have a match between Great Muta & Chono vs. Sasaki & Yamazaki but that happened on 10/25/97. Is that the match you're refering to or was their an earlier one?

There was a match with Muta & Chono vs. Sasaki & Yamakazi on 9/23/1997. In October of 1997, Muta was Keiji Muto throughout the whole October tour, so maybe you have the dates wrong.
The match where Muto came out and changed into Muta was on 4/4/1994, and that match was Muto & Chono vs. Tenryu & Choshu.

This must be what I was thinking of. I popped in my DVD of 10/18/97, really 9/23/97, where Chono & Great Muta are wrestling Sasaki & Yamazaki and in the middle of the match the Great Muta goes to the back and comes out as Mutoh. At first it looks like he is going to attack Chono because he rips the NWO wrist band off and throws it on the ground but then he attacks Sasaki and wins the match.
I just checked the Puroresufan web site and I do have my dates wrong.
