Heenan: Cute joke, anyway it’s something I think the Fans will like, Mr. Monday Night Delight! I suggest you and Cena get on the same page…immediately.
(Morrison storms out of Heenan’s office in a huff, while a UWA president Jack Tunney comes in.)
Heenan: What do I owe your presence Tunney.
Tunney: Well Bobby that little thing I told you next week over the phone, well I want you to publicly announce it at the end of the show.
Heenan: (muttering) ..with pleasure.
A pre-taped backstage segment is shown of Reid Flair challenging Chris Benoit to a match to “cement his legacy in his third week in the company”.
Suprisingly, now elabortate entrance or hand written ring intro for Flair, he’s all business tonight.
Match 1: Chris Benoit vs. Reid Flair
The two started off with a feeling out process. Then, after a lengthy lock-up to jockey for position, Benoit and Flair settled into some back and forth wrist and hammer locks. This continued for the first few minutes, as it seemed they were gearing up for a battle of technical wits. Benoit ended up on the outside after snapping Flair’s neck over the top rope to gain first strike points. While on the outside, Benoit spotted Perfect standing there with his manager Grisham smirking, and given that the last two match finishes have involved the Radicalz, Benoit is eager to prove he doesn’t need any help. Benoit suplexs young Flair and goes out to where Perfect is and falls down! The ref proceeded to turn around and see Benoit on the ground with Perfect standing nearby, and decided to toss Perfect from the ringside area as Benoit waves goodbye to Perfect and Grisham.
Benoit and Flair are still going back and forth trading chops…and it continued for a few more minutes. Benoit eventually tried for the Crossface, but Flair countered into a rear chinlock. The Crippler escaped, though, and unleashed a few really load knife-Ryder chops. Flair finally gained some semblance of control when he tripped Benoit and sent him shoulder-first into the steel post. Reid then locked in a side headlock, but then Irish whipped him for a shoulder tackle. He tried to follow with a clothesline, but ended up nearly locked into the Crossface on consecutive occasions. Flair escaped, though, and headed outside the ring. Benoit brought him back to the apron and suplexed him into the ring. After another armbar, Benoit sat Flair the top turnbuckle and proceeded to chop the living hell out of him. He then went up for superplex, but Flair blocked it. The Crippler stayed on the offensive, though, and hit him with multiple headbutts that actually sent Randy off the top and crashing to the floor below. Reid comes back in and meets a hard dropkick to the face
Benoit was attempting to lock in the Sharpshooter, but was having some serious trouble. Reid finally battled out and hit two standing knee drops followed by a flying knee drop. The Crippler tried battling right back, but Flair gave him a quick barrage of right hands before settling into a sleeper hold. Benoit escaped the hold, but was soon after planted with a standing dropkick. Flair then settled into the rear chinlock again. Benoit then made a comeback, which was capped off by a Perfect Plex for a near fall. He then gave Flair several chops and went for the Sharpshooter again. This time, he was successful. Reid writhed in pain in the center of the ring, but eventually inched his way over to the ropes. The Crippler didn’t let up, hitting three consecutive German suplexes. He then went up for the Diving Headbutt, but missed on the attempt when Flair moved out of the way. Flair then threw Benoit into the turnbuckle but Benoit collides into Flair who also knocks out referee Brian Hebner. Flair then hit a backbreaker and poised himself for an tornado DDT attempt. However, just as he was about to strike Malenko came down and tried to interfere. Malenko made it as far as the apron before Flair punched him off. Flair finally got his tornado DDT attempt, but Benoit armdragged him from the turnbuckle and saw it countered into the Crossface!
As Flair looked as if he might tap, Perfect came back down to the ring and tried to interfere. He was as successful as Malenko was, as Benoit released the submission hold and whacked the Number 1 contender. When Benoit turned around, though, he was met with a impaler DDT …but Benoit countered into the Crossface again! Reid tried to escape, but tapped out! Unfortunately, the ref was still out of commission, forcing Benoit to release the hold and try to revive the official. Perfect stalked Benoit planning to Perfect Plex him, but Perry Saturn comes from under the ring looking to Perfect with Benoit’s title but Perfect ducks and Benoit gets clocked with the title accidently as Perfect and Saturn brawl outside the ring. Hebner is revived and sees Flair’s arm draped on Benoit 1..2..3! Reid Flair is now 3-0 in UWA with a big non-title victory over the champion. Perfect walks back with Flair smiling his head off and Flair is celebrating like there is no tommorow.

GM Bobby Heenan comes out and has a microphone
Heenan: Ladies and gentleman, by the request on my boss UWA president Jack Tunney, he would like to inform you that at the next PPV after Retaliation…the next PPV being Total Control, there will be a 10 Man Barbwire Man Hell in the Cell Match for the UWA Championship. In light of this announcement, the winner of Cena/Morrison; The winning team of Cool Canadians/DX & Haruski; Venis/Ryder and Austin/Lesnar matches will advance into the Cell tournament. Along with Perfect and Benoit!
Jack Tunney comes out and has a microphone as well.
Tunney: Heenan you have also forgot my other announcement that…on the UWA Offical Thread, we want to hear the fan suggestions for the special guest referee for the Hell in the Cell Match! It can be any personnel from anywhere! You decide! Hey, and Bobby…cherish your job while you can, they might be some interview for a soon to be vacant GM position in UWA! Goodnight folks!
Heenan has a concerned look on his face as fans chant “Na Na Na, Hey Hey” at Heenan! As UWA fades to black.
