Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports:
Several weeks ago, I noted that MyNetworkTV was interested in TNA programming and that the two sides had met. As it turns out, I was wrong.
According to several entertainment industry sources in California, TNA actually met with the Fox network itself at that point, not MyNetworkTV. I've also confirmed negotiations are still moving forward at this point.
This potential TV deal could mean a pretty major jump in the amount of TV hours the company currently produces weekly because of the opportunity for exposure through multiple networks, as I am hearing this could be a multi-network deal.

That's not bad, TNA should do it if they want exposure. Fox can pour more money into advertising for them that TNA will actually benefit from it.

From what i heard, they are still on with Spike but the determining factor/ wild card is a two hour time slot. If Spike doesnt budge, TNA would move to another network..either way, a two hour timeslot seems to be the top priority amongst the negotiations.
Personally I dont know what the prob. Is. Can networks not see that with over 20 million viewers per week, wrestling is a hot commodity

I've heard rumors of iMPACT being on FX, with the possibility of a big 2 hour live special on Fox.

Guess what, most shows on FOX aren't doing much better. That new show On The Lot has averaged a 1.2 since debuting and FOX spent 1.8 million dollars to develope and produce it. |

this is great for TNA. Spike and possibley Fox, with a 2 hour time slot of Fox, nothing but good news for TNA and the wrestling business. Hopefully, they can get there rating higher.

I wouldnt mind the FX channel. I think it'd be a boost for FOX, and they are known for there edgey shows. Spike just doesnt seem to give a rip and is slowly falling into non existence with the crap they put on...they might as well call themselves the UFC/ stupidest shows channel for as much crap that they show

I think being on FX will give them more ratings; because FX /FOX is viewed more by the mainstream, unlike SPIKE which is geared towards men. Granted there is nothing wrong with SPIKE gearing their channel towards men, but women, and kids are into wrestling as well. SPIKE is also focused more on UFC; which is the reason why TNA hasnt had as good of ratings as they should. Pinning a scripted wrestling program to compete against a shoot-fighting program on the same network. Having competeing programs on the same network don't bode well for neither show; nor the network.

a two hour show, plus the possibility of other shows, is killer.
however, something scares me about leaving spiketv, seeing as how spiketv is more lenient to reality, compared to most stations... i.e. the ufc.

FX will also promote the show a year in advance like they do with every other show.

Hell if TNA came on before Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, they've got me hooked.
