Do you know what time it is?
Seriously, what time is it? I think my watch is a little bit slow.
Nah, I’m just kidding. It’s time for Loaded.
We open the show “Misera Cantare” by AFI playing as Yukio Blaze makes his way to the ring.
Matt Steel: What a terrible way to open the show.
Matthew Werner: Why do you always go after the man?
Matt Steel: I’m just joking around. All the cool kids are doing it.
Matthew Werner: Did you ever think that you’re hurting the guy’s feelings?
Matt Steel: Please, let’s not get into this argument again.
Blaze grabs a microphone. See, that way everybody can hear him when he speaks.
Yukio Blaze: Seeing as we are now just a couple of weeks away from Survival of the Fittest, I think I need to send a message to—
The lights go out.
Matt Steel and Matthew Werner: Seen it.
When the lights come back on, nerO and Thunder are in the ring along with Blaze. nerO nails Blaze in the back of the head with a chair while Thunder directs him, yelling to hit him again. And that’s what he does. Then he instructs him to back up so Thunder himself can finish off the attack. He drags Blaze by the legs over to one of the corners, at which point he exits the ring and locks in a figure four around the post. Once he lets go a few seconds later he picks up the steel steps and rams them against Blaze’s leg.
Matt Steel: Somebody’s been inspired by EBR.
The damage done, the two men head to the back.
Spider vs. ICU vs. Brandon Wolfe
Spider, ICU, and Wolfe stare at each other, each glimmering hatred. Then ICU makes a break for Spider, who ducks, and gets a strong clothesline from Wolfe. He bails to the outside of the ring. Spider turns, hitting stiff combos on Wolfe, but they do not faze the brawler. He steps forward, trying to grab Spider, but the crafty technician reverses it into an odd submission hold of some sort that is so amazing I cannot describe it,
Alright, it’s an armbar.
ICU climbs to the top of a turnbuckle where he is out of sight, and delivers a picture perfect flying elbow to Spiders ribcage. The young man breaks the hold. He clutches his damaged midsection, and ICU starts brawling with Wolfe. While Wolfe has a slight advantage, ICU holds his own, and gets ahold of Wolfe’s arm. ANOTHER ARMBAR!!!!!!. Wolfe has no choice but to tap out.
Christian Shields vs. Ace Bennett
This turned into a wild match, spilling out onto the floor on numerous occasions. And after sending Bennett into the steps, Shields was able to get back in the ring while Bennett couldn’t beat the count. Neither man seem entirely satisfied with this and looked ready to do battle again.
Keri Thames: The following contest is scheduled for one fall introducing first representing Revelation, ‘Dynamite’ Jon O’Deeves!
“Revelation” by Symphony X resonates as the crowd comes to their feet for the entering Jon O'Deeves. Dynamite gets to the stage and makes a fist with his right hand, and leaves his left open. He crashes them together, mouths the word “BOOM” and a black pyro waterfall rains down, Jon now basking in it.
Jon climbs the stairs and gets into the ring.
Keri Thames: And now making his way to the ring Reckless!
Cyanide by Metallica echoes through the arena as Reckless makes his way out from the curtain and down into the ring. Looking around he soaks in the crowds boo’s, he looks at O’Deeves and brings his thumb across his throat.
The bell tolls and the two men lock up, Jon taking over with a headlock lock, but to his dismay Reckless reverses in to a chicken wing. Writhing in pain O’Deeves shifts his weight backwards slamming himself and Reckless to the mat, causing Reckless to release the chicken wing, O’Deeves the first to get up starts kicking Reckless in the face and the back of the head. The crowed stands up cheering and yelling chanting O’Deeves name. O’Deeves Picks Reckless up setting him up for the Northern Lights Suplex. Reckless reverses slamming O’Deeves to the mat, the crowed sits back down booing. Reckless takes control, tying O’Deeves up into a sharpshooter, O’Deeves starts to panic as Reckless leans back inflicting more pain. O’Deeves starts to crawl to the bottom rope, the crowed standing up again cheering, trying to get behind O’Deeves. O’Deeves reaches the bottom rope, the arena roof almost comes unhinged from excitement. Reckless holds the sharpshooter in till the ref’s count of 4 then let’s go. The Referee allows O’Deeves to get up before continuing the match. Reckless pushes the Referee out of the way, before connecting with a fist to O’Deeves face. O’Deeves retaliates with some fists of his own. O’Deeves then kicks Reckless in the stomach, and sets up his finisher the Northern Lights Suplex, this time connecting with it. O’Deeves covers Reckless, The Ref counts. 1…2…3…. The crowd stands up and cheers as the Referee raises O’Deeves arm in victory.
Tempest vs. Calvin Lee vs. Master of Destruction
From very early on in the match it was clear that Lee wanted his hands on Tempest in attempt to make up for last week’s loss. But in the end, it was MOD he got the pin on after the burning hammer.
“The Carpal Tunnel of Love” by Fall Out Boy plays on the PA as Kronic and Tabitha Owens walk out from behind the curtain. Kronic stands there awkwardly, as Tabitha nudges him down the aisle. Kronic high-fives a few hands of the fans in a nervous manner.
Keri Thames: Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Tabitha Owens, he is KRONIC!
Kronic goes sliding into the ring and hiding behind the referee and the arena lights dim as the big screen displays a black and white movie style count down running from 3 to 1 before “Won't Let Go” by InMe hits the sound system and a small amount of white pyros explode in the entrance way. Seconds after the pyros end WFWF hall of famer Johnny Michaels jumps through the smoke onto the stage. Once out Michaels runs to each side of the stage in turn and waves his arms signaling to the crowd to get up before he then starts to walk to the ring high fiving and shaking hands with some fans on his way then, at the half way point of the ramp.
Keri Thames: And his partner, making his way to the ring....he is JOHNNY MICHAELS!
Michaels runs to the ring and slides under the bottom rope to enter it. In the ring Michaels leaps to his feet and runs off the ropes once to test there strength before climbing up the top right and bottom left turnbuckles where he raises his arms to the crowd before jumping down.
“Revelation” by Symphony X blasts through the PA system as Aaron Ashton and The High Horror slowly make their way out from behind the curtain. As the chorus on the song hits, Horror hits his Hangman's Horror pose and Ashton crosses his arms as a black and gold waterfall sparkles down.
Keri Thames: And their opponents. Representing Revelation, at a combined weight of five-hundred and thirteen pounds, The High Horror and Aaron Ashton!
The two men walk down the ramp, focused on Michaels and Kronic. They slide in and Ashton goes right after Johnny Michaels, tackling him and bashing him with elbows. Horror and Kronic reluctantly step to the apron and the ref rings the bell.>
*Ding Ding Ding*
The ref pulls Ashton off of Johnny and helps Johnny to his feet. The two go to the middle of the ring and go at it. Collar and elbow tie up, Johnny taking over with a nice elbow lock. Johnny cranks the hold on more, but Ashton gets under him and delivers a violent elbow to Johnny's gut. Johnny releases the hold and hunches over, where Ashton hits a backfist to Johnny's face. Ashton then locks Johnny up and drops him with a DDT. Ashton kicks up and gives Horror a thumbs up.
Matthew Werner: Took a play outta Horror's book I see.
Matt Steel: Well I hope he puts it back. It's only one page!
Matthew Werner: "..."
Ashton shuffle kicks Johnny in the face and then tanuts Kronic. Kronic tries to come in the ring, but the ref interviens. While the refs back is turned, Horror climbs into the ring and picks up Johnny Michaels. Horror powerbombs Johnny and Ashton hits a legdrop on Johnny's neck. Horror rolls out of the ring and the ref turns his attention back to the ring, counting the pinfall.
1.....2.....
Johnny Michaels kicks out at two! Ashton rolls his eyes and gets to his feet. He wipes his hands on his shoulders and looks down at the struggling Michaels. He slaps Johnny's head a couple times and gets him to his feet. Ashton turns his body and leaps in the air, attempting the Ashtonator, but Johnny pushes him off. Michaels drops to a knee and Ashton falls flat on his back, more annoyed than hurt. Johnny stumbles over to his corner and tags in a fresh Kronic. Tabitha claps as he gets into the ring. Ashton attempts a clothesline, but Kronic ducks under it and hits the Tragedy, a stranglehold lung blower. Kronic goes for the cover.
1......2.....
Ashton rolls his shoulder up at two! Kronic mounts Ashton and begins to punch him in the face. The ref counts to four and Kronic dismounts. The entire time, Tabitha is cheering him on. Kronic, in an attempt to keep Ashton the legal man, picks up Ashton and hits a step-up enziguri. His plan fails though. The enziguri sends Ashton stumbling backwards swiftly, him landing in his corner. Horror tags in, steps over the ropes, and stares down Kronic. Moments pass, and Kronic closes his eyes tight and looks away quickly, then he charges at the big man. Horror delivers a sharp uppercut to the temple of Kronic, knocking him silly. Horror throws a spinning elbow at Kronic, knocking him down. The big man then drops an elbow, but Kronic rolls out of the way. Both men get to their feet at about the same time.
"Cyanide" by Metallica resonates through the arena as Reckless makes his way out from behind the curtain, the crowd booing immensely. Realizing it's Reckless, Horror turns to face him, up the ramp. Horror yells at Reckless, telling him to get down to the ring. Kronic takes advantage, rolling up the big man.>
1....2....3!
Keri Thames: Here are your winners, Kronic and Johnny Michaels!
As the two men and woman celebrate, Ashton has already gotten off the apron and is making a B-Line to the top of the stage. Horror gets to his feet moments after. Kronic goes for a clothesline, but Horror lifts Kronic up and over the ropes and down to the floor below. Johnny goes to check on Kronic as Horror stands in the center of the ring, urging Reckless to take out Ashton and get in. It seems like he's tempted, but then from the crowd comes Ace Bennett, standing on the thin edge of the barricade. Reckless starts to back up, smirking. The crowd erupts when Jon O'Deeves comes out from behind the curtain, steel chair in hand. Reckless freezes and does a slow turn to see Jon there. Reckless gets down onto his hands and knees slowly, but Jon lifts the chair high in the air and brings it down. Reckless rolls, avoiding the blow. He jumps off the stage and runs into the back. "Revelation" by Symphony X resonates as Revelation stands tall.
With the lights dimmed the familiar bells of “Going The Distance” by Bill Conti echo throughout the arena.
Matthew Werner: EBR verses Wayne McGurk, and needless to say -
Matt Steel: This match is full of personal animosity, Matty.
Matthew Werner: Unbelievable.
Puff Daddy’s verse begins as the camera stays fixated on the stage, picking up the sounds, the boos and murmurs, which resonate from the crowd. It takes fifty seconds and a more aggressive beat before EBR finally appears, the distinctive voice of the Notorious BIG behind him. EBR descends down the ramp, his sweat shirt hood over his head as his eyes stay focused on the ring. Loosening up he briefly jogs on the spot and cranks his neck, climbing the ring steps before entering the ring through the second and third rope. “Victory” begins to fade out as the lighting resumes to normal and EBR removes his sweatshirt.
The lights fall as Wolfgang's "Sanctified" rips through the arena. Shades of white sparkle through the darkness as the song kicks into full gear and Wayne drives into the arena on his Harley Davidson Hog, Vanessa noticeably absent.
Matt Steel: I’m sure that makes EBR happy.
EBR smiles.
Matt Steel: There you go.
Wayne circles the ring before parking the motorcycle towards the entrance way. Wayne leaps into the apron and motions into the ring through the second rope. At this moment he’s rushed from EBR, who attacks him with a barrage of forearms to the head.
Matthew Werner: I … guess this match is underway.
Ding! Ding! Ding
Matt Steel: There you go.
Almost effortlessly McGurk shoves EBR away. This doesn’t stop the former Heavyweight Champion who attempts to rush McGurk yet again, only to be caught in the face with a hard right hand, dropping him to the canvas.
Matt Steel: On that note, happy birthday to Mike Tyson.
Matthew Werner: Though by the time this is read it will no longer be Mike Tyson’s birthday.
Matt Steel: What a strange shout out.
McGurk dives at EBR, elbowing him in the nose before he mounts and again attacks with more right hands. This continues briefly, until EBR claws McGurk’s eyes.
Matt Steel: How surprisingly practical.
Matthew Werner: Yet dirty.
Matt Steel: I’m sure EBR has excellent nail hygiene. Excellent one-liner by myself. Good job, Matt.
EBR shoves McGurk off and quickly knees him in the side of the head, only to reply with cross-faced forearms.
Matthew Werner: This has certainly been the fight we expected it to be.
McGurk strikes his elbow back, landing it in EBR’s chin as EBR stumbles back. McGurk is quick to his feet, clothes lining EBR and subsequently himself over the ropes to the outside.
Matt Steel: Yeah! The ring can’t contain these waaaaaaaaaariors!
Grabbing his opponent’s head McGurk bounces it off the ring apron several times, possibly giving EBR future brain damage. EBR stumbles back and either out of desperation or just plain douchebagishness
Matt Steel: Nice.
kicks Mcgurk in the testicles. Like any man would, McGurk holds his balls as EBR slightly paces back, before charging his body at McGurk and tackling him into the steel steps!
Matthew Werner: Christ! EBR injured himself on that almost as much as McGurk.
Matt Steel: How do you figure?
Both McGurk and EBR roll on the mats, EBR clutching at the shoulder that just went full force in to the steel steps.
Matt Steel: … Hrm.
Despite this fact EBR is naturally the first of the two to make it to his feet, though McGurk is relatively quick to follow. Waiting for his opponent to rise to his feet, he connects with a few brief punches until McGurk counters back with the same. Both connect with various punches as they begin to back towards the announce table.
Matt Steel: Maybe they’ll give us a shout out as the number ones announce team on Loaded.
Matthew Werner: That’s very unlikely.
Matt Steel: Yeah, one of us drags down the quality.
Matthew Werner: I meant because they in a pretty heated match.
Matt Steel: … Hrm.
Matthew Werner: You’re a jerk, Matt.
McGurk breaks this trend first, grabbing at EBR’s head and knocking it off the announce table. Yelling obscenities EBR stumbles back as McGurk rips a monitor out of the announce table.
Matt Steel: Now how am I going to be able to follow this match?
Swinging for EBR’s head McGurk does just that. EBR drops to the outside mats.
Matthew Werner: Yeah! That’s for injuring Vanessa!
Matt Steel: You’re a clown.
Desperately EBR begins to crawl on the outside, reaching the time keeper table. He attempts to pull himself up as McGurk approaches, but is suddenly hit in the side of the knee with the bell hammer! McGurk drops to one knee, in pain. Obviously. That sh*t would hurt.
Matthew Werner: All hell is breaking loose here!
Still affected by the monitor to the head, EBR rests against the guardrail as McGurk remains kneeled on the outside. At this point, the referee rings for the bell … which can’t be rung because the hammer is not in the vicinity of the said bell.
Matthew Werner: And this match is unceremoniously over.
Matt Steel: You have to wonder why. I say let ‘em fight! Who’s with me! Yeah!
Matthew Werner: Well both have just hit one another with illegal objects. And they’ve been outside the ring for about two minutes. And EBR may have a concussion. And McGurk may have a shattered knee cap. Is that enough? Should I keep going?
Matt Steel: … Why are you the way you are? Honestly … any time I try and do something fun or exciting you make it not that way. I hate so much about the things that you choose to be.
For a second both men look at each other, to which EBR replies with a cheap shot punch to McGurk’s face. EBR quickly slides in to the ring as McGurk follows, his leg clearly no longer an issue. As McGurk slides in he’s caught from EBR, who on his knees assaults with a barrage of left and right forearms to McGurk’s back. In an impressive display of strength McGurk rises to his feet and grabs EBR, running towards the corner and sending EBR crashing back first in to the turnbuckle.
Matthew Werner: Not even the lack of a match can stop these two … which I suppose is fitting considering the events involving these two the past two weeks have taken uh … place outside of the confines of … yeah … a match … hrm …
Matt Steel: You’re dead weight, Matthew.
Pinching his back EBR stumbles around the corner as McGurk paces several steps before charging ahead, looking to preferably take EBR’s head off with a big boot. At the last second EBR drops down, but not before grabbing McGurk’s leg and lightly pushing it down, just enough to get caught in between the second and third rope.
Matt Steel: Uh oh.
McGurk desperately attempts to release his leg as EBR walks across the ring, and in a flash sprints across and hits McGurk’s standing leg with a Chop-Block!
Matthew Werner: Dammit! Not again!
Still caught in the ropes McGurk yells in pain as EBR again rises and repeats the same steps as before, connecting with another Chop-Block! This time McGurk’s leg is released from the ropes as he crashes to the canvas.
Matthew Werner: Seriously, someone stop this.
Matt Steel: … You want to get in there.
Exiting the ring EBR grabs a steel chair before folding it and re-entering. He raises the chair above his head and brings it down on Wayne’s leg. Surveying his damage for a brief period, he places Wayne’s leg in between the chair.
Matthew Werner: He’s going to do the same thing he did to Vanessa to Wayne!
Matt Steel: At least he’s consistent.
Just as EBR is about to stomp on the chair he stops, looking at McGurk before he crouches down and gently begins to tap on the chair with his hand. EBR speaks, his voice getting picked up.
EBR: ‘…. And next time, choose your mistakes wisely’ …
EBR exits the ring as the referee tends to Wayne. He begins to walk up the ramp in what would be silence if not for McGurk cussing and calling out for EBR. The show ends.
