Sting hasn't had a landmark match since the 90s. That is a laughable assumption. People don't watch TNA so they would'nt know, Sting's matches with Kurt Angle and MANY others have been epic.

dude is an idiot. lol. sting's career > HBKs It's not even close anymore. HBK's career has eclipsed Sting's. Every year, HBK puts forth at least one (usually more) match that is a MOTY candidate, like the last 2 Wrestlemanias. Sting hasn't had a landmark match since the 90s. OK .... sting's career > HBK's ... still.

Fact HBK did more business and is still doing more business then Sting has besides during when Sting was champion in the nWo. It wasn't UNTIL HALL AND NASH LEFT THAT PPV's and RATINGS FOR THE WWE WENT DOWN! LOL, that's not a fact, where do you get these figures? HBK is virtually a non-factor when it comes to drawing ability. Sting made cash for WCW all throughout his career, ESPECIALLY during the nWo era. HBK had more accomplishments by opening the door for people like Eddie, Jericho, and Rey to get into main event status and as champions. Sting didn't break any doors for anybody. Sting opened doors for the Ultimate Warrior (one of his first tag team partners), he had an awesome match with Vader and cemented him as a legit main event champ by allowing himself to be completely destroyed by him their first go-around. Compared to HBK who was supposed to job to Vader, but opted otherwise. John Cena has a similar build and gimmick to the old-school Sting, and uses a lot of powerhouse moves as well. Not to mention Shelton Benjamin ALWAYS hits Stinger Splashes. Just because you don't recognize Sting's influence doesn't mean it's not there. No, he wasn't. Ted Turner was mainly a guy who knew Ric Flair worked in WCW and that was it in the beginning. He wasn't actively involved until Bischoff came onto the scene... and then he started throwing money at Hogan, etc. Shows how much you know, right? I guess Turner must've financed them during the Jim Crockett days, too. Jeez, I guess you forget who was on the WWF's undercard while Shawn Michaels was picking up steam in 1995: "MVP" Steve Lombardi, Tatanka, The Mantaur, Aldo Montoya (!? Justin Credible in a JOCK STRAP MASK), The Godwins... country star Jeff Jarrett, the list goes on. Research before you call the pot black.

Sting's matches with Kurt have been good, not great. Not a single match from Sting's TNA run has been "one for the ages". The best one they had was probably the empty area match but even that couldn't match the Angle-Joe matches.

HBK marks are the most annoying creatures of all time but rfap is right about nobody here naming great Sting 1 on 1 matches when he keeps asking.
And HBK was wearing big ear rings, dancing like a feminine hoe, kissing HHH&Vince on the lips&doing a blowj*b taunt.
How is that NOT gay? What is Shawn Michaels character to you?
LOL@ HBK being a fruity male stripper telling man to suck it but somehow Vince is the one that likes c*cks.

It's too bad Sting had to be CARRIED IN ALL OF THOSE! Not to mention they were never given 5 Stars by the wrestling WORLD! His only top matches were tag team matches! Carried? Have you watched them? Any Sting match with Muta is better than ANY HBK match EVER.

Well seeing as how HBK HAS PROVEN HE CAN MAKE STARS UNLIKE STING THEN MAYBE YOU WOULD HAVE A POINT! BUT STING ISN'T A RING GENERAL! The stars you mentioned HBK "made" all came from WCW you moron. Better then HBK/Taker, HBK/Angle, HBK/Hart? Nope! Yes, way better.

I'M THE MORON? NO! WHEN WAS ORTON, BENJAMIN, AND THE WHOLE SLEW HE HAS GIVEN TOP MATCHES TOO EVER IN WCW??? Whos talking about Orton? We are talking about the stars you say HBK "made" when they were already made in WCW along with Sting, Flair, ect. IN YOUR WORDS "ONLY IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS!" Your gay dude.

I've always found Shawn Michaels slightly more entertaining, so my vote goes to Michaels. However, I had a hard time deciding who had the better career during the 90s. But Shawn Michaels carried the WWE, along with Hart, during the mid 90s when they weren't so popular.

HBK marks are the most annoying creatures of all time but rfap is right about nobody here naming great Sting 1 on 1 matches when he keeps asking. -- Sting carried Hogan to decent matches, aside from the one at Starrcade. Shawn Michaels would rather oversell Hogan's offense and act ridiculous than have what should've been an epic match with him at SummerSlam. -- Sting wrestled Ric Flair to sixty minute draws throughout the late 80s and early 90s. I'd say his wrestling skill was solid and defined. -- Sting also wrestled Vader in a great match, proving he could do big man/little man matches as good as Michaels could. -- He also had a great hardcore match with Cactus Jack in the early 90s, wrestled Bret Hart and gave Goldberg one of his best matches in the later years.
