This has nothing to do with Homicide's win.
However, with the Main Event Mafia all about holding as much gold as possible, does it say something for the X-Division title's current importance if its not even on the Main Event Mafia's radar?

Wouldn't suprise me if MEM brought in Eric Young to chase the belt, tbh...

They don't really have a guy in the group to send after it besides Joe. I don't think it should be looked at as a knock on the belt because it isn't on the Mafia agenda.

I think it's not as big a title for them to really have but for all we know EY could be brought in to help them out

I think that it does make it look bad. I think Joe should go for it. That way, every member of the Mafia would have gold(assuming a clean sweep by the Mafia tonight).
World Title: Kurt X Title: Joe Legends Title: Nash Tag Belts: Booker/Steiner
Joe's been the champ before, so its reasonable that they could send him out to get it again.

My point pretty much is they don't see it as important because there is no one in the group who is in pursuit of it.
Wayback when I said Alex Shelley could have been brought in; sure he's no world champion but he'd be a good representative with the title in the Mafia.
Still, I think the title is pretty much the bottom of the rung when the prominent group desires all the titles but only makes a public nod toward the tag titles, the heavyweight title and a belt brought in for gimmick purpose only.

Samoa Joe is long past the stage of being the X champion, his last reign he did absolutely nothing with it, and his second reign was of a similar nature. His first reign was definately the best.

There really isn't a point of going after the X Division Championship for Joe. He has his involvement with Sting right now, and the other guys have their own title matches. I'm actually kind of glad that no one from the Mafia is going after the belt because the MEM is controlling TNA right now and a segment without them is a nice break.

Sharmell should go for the Knockouts title How about we keep the women's wrestling to women who at least try to be wrestlers? Angelina Love sucks, but she can do better in the ring than Sharmell.

It truly makes what was once what made TNA different really seem unimportant which is seemingly how they view it anyway. Back when Dusty was still booking for TNA, even though he didn't really agree with the X Division, he understood that it served a purpose.

I don't think so. I mean, look at Slammiversary - the X-DIvision Title match for more time than the main event. It's not "where it use to be" but it'll be hard to get back there.
