all i really see done is clothes and some cheap hair put on it. either customs discussion thread or customs accessories... mods please lock...

Putting air on a figure takes a lot of work. Its not a simple head switch. overall I feel like the scan is off. I know its the one jakks used, but without her regular hair it looks a little off. Also Im trying to remember when maryse wore that costume. She wears black. |

sweet custom, i love when people real hair divas. takes away the toy aspect but add's unique-ness. costume looks cool and overall a good job. 4/5  and for sake you guys. if a mod feels the thread needs locking thay can do that themselves without you twats telling them and spamming up your post count. its just an internet forum to share idea's and hard work. not a bitchfight-site |

Not by you guys there is not. You did an awesome job on the hair, I do not like the outfit. I am a fan of painted on ones. Real hair looks cool, but doesn't fit in. Nice CUSTOM. |

I dunno if any of you have every worked with doll hair, but judging by your ridicious posts, I can almost safely assume you haven't. It's very hard to get a realistic look to it, to root the hair so it flows like hair. This isn't some simple "pull the rubber off and glue something in place". I made some homemade dolls for my cousin a few years back and doll hair is insane to work with. I couldn't even imagine how difficult it was to work with on a small scale, with hard plastic.
You try to work with doll hair, then come back and tell me it's just a simple switch and not a custom.

I would imagine it's very tough to put real hair on a figure so therefore I would say it's no less of a custom than one with minor sculpting and paint jobs. The problem is no matter how hard it was to do I am not a fan of the turnout. It's a custom and definitely deserves to be here, just not a great one. The hair looks very thin, but I applaud the effort and think you will get better as you experiment further in the future.

Calm down nydream. This deserves to be here. Adding real hair is freakin' hard. I've tried numerous times to different figures and can't get it right.
Did you glue this on top or root it?

The outfit is really bad. The hair is a good idea, but really didn't come out great.
Nice try though. You can only get better.

I too prefer painted on outfits, but I am really impressed with how well you managed to pull off the hair.
I've tried using it on Mego figures, and doll hair is hard as hell to work with. This deserves to be here.
