The Dark Knight and it isn't even close... Honestly, this is the only situation where I'd say you're insane to say otherwise. I honestly think people are so anti-TDK hype that they've lost their minds. Don't lie, you're a closet Alicia Silverstone and Uma Thurman mark and would vote for those movies for a night with either of them.

One of my biggest problems with the Burton/Schumacher movies is the raping of Jim Gordon and The Bruce Wayne character. Shumacher gets somewhat of a past cause he atleast new how to cast Bruce/Batman. But my vote goes to TDK.

Every single Batman film before Begins had an absolutely terrible supporting cast, where as in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight the supporting cast excels due to picking up great actors, and giving the characters actual development. Gordon is one of my favorite characters on screen and on the pages, and it's great to have him portrayed so well in the films now.

The Dark Knight.
Everything was perfect. The way that the camera would change from scene to scene so rapidly. Christian Bale and Heth Ledger playing the 'Hero and Villian' was a great choice. At first I was sure about Heth Ledger as The Joker but when they released the first set of pictures I just knew that he was the perfect choice. Michael Caine. Just simpaly a great actor. Aaron Eckhart(sp) as Two-Face was simpaly amazing to watch.
and of course "TDK Greatest film EVER!!!!11"

The Dark Knight.
And no, I'm not a bandwagon jumper seeing as it's cooler to hate TDK at the moment, so go away.

I voted for Batman '89. It was better than all the Batman movies altogether.
I noticed that the majority of who voted for "The Dark Knight" are around the ages of 24 or younger. The don't really know what they are talking about. They were 4 years old, or not even a twinkle in mommy and daddy's eyes; when Batman came out. Of course they are going to vote for TDK; because its what they know, and it was popular. They aren't going to vote for Batman, because it's old and its not "state of the art, or cool to admit that it may actually be better.
Simply Cosmic; You are just intellectually- disabled. You were supposed to vote on what was listed. Your animated wasnt listed because it wasn't a live action movie, and it went straight to DVD.
