Okay so MEM has all the gold except the Knockout and the X-division titles. Kurt Angle knows he needs all the titles to have absolute power in TNA. He knows Sharmell and Jenna aren't capable of beating any Knockout champion, so he hires Traci to bring the belt into Mafia possession. Either at Hard Justice or the PPV following, Traci wins the Knockouts title from Angelina in a match also involving Tara and/or Awesome Kong (with Mafia help of course.)
Kurt is one step closer to absolute control of TNA. He isn't about to let any of MEM's adversaries have a go at their belts. All that is left is Homicide and the X-division title. Kurt orders Samoa Joe with the guidance of Taz, to bring him the X-division title by any means necessary. Taz advises Joe that he has to play by the rules this time around, MEM will take care of the rest.
Mick and Jarrett are beaten men. AJ, Sting, and Daniels are leading the resistance against MEM with the help of Bobby Lashley and Beer Money. They know the X-division title is the last saving grace of TNA's future and with Hernandez, rally around it and Homicide. The X-division title becomes the center of TNA's main storyline.
The Resistance (for lack of a better word, Frontline is garbage) fends of MEM and MEM's alliances (Eric Young, British Invasion, Kiyoshi/Abdul, etc.) and allow a fair fight between Homicide and anyone MEM puts up against him. With the backup, Homicide is able to fend off MEM's appointed challengers with the title intact every time.
Kurt than decides to fight fire with fire. He appoints Alex Shelley as MEM's X-division representative, thrusting him into the spotlight. If Homicide is able to slip out of a powerhouse's grasp, a smaller technical guy is the only concievable solution. With plenty of build up, Homicide and Shelley have a wrestling clinic without interference, but Homicide is able to win. Shelley and Homicide go on to have a few more battles that involve interference from both sides.
Kurt decides to give Shelley one last chance on PPV via a ladder match. In said match, it looks like Shelley is going to steal a victory, the X-division title, and the small bit of power MEM needs for absolute rule. But wait... IT's CHRIS SABIN! Chris Sabin, angered by Shelley's betrayal of MCMG, joins the Resistance by costing Shelley his last shot at TNA fame.
Angered, Angle demands that he face Homicide for the X-division title at the next PPV. AJ, Daniels, and Sting basically say, "Hold on a minute... TNA management has witnessed this war over the X-division title and is impressed by the fighting spirit of TNA's originals. They say that if Homicide has to put up his X-division title against you, than you have to put something up as well... MEM's power in TNA." Kurt reluctantly accepts, but makes it an iron man match.
Homicide and Angle have a war. Throughout the match, no interference occurs as both the originals and MEM (and it's alliance members) are busy with eachother outside the ring. In the end, Homicide is able to obtain the victory. MEM has lost their power in TNA. Jarrett returns after the match after a hiatus and smashes a guitar over Angle's head, as pandemonium continues around the ring. Jarrett shakes Homicide's hand and hug, as the show closes.
MEM has lost power, and Jarrett orders that each belt be defended at the next PPV. AJ and Daniels ask Sting to be the man that challenges Angle. Sting refuses, basically saying, "You guys are the cornerstones of TNA, take Angle's belt and restore honor back to TNA... I got Big Kev."
Angle vs. Daniels vs. AJ Styles is set up for the PPV, as well as Sting vs. Kevin Nash. Alex Shelley vs. Sabin, as their feud has continued, is also booked. Beer Money's rematch against Steiner and Booker is booked. The originals appoint Alissa Flash as challenger to Traci's knockout title.
Joe announces that he has gotten nothing but losses from his alliance with MEM... MEM is a sinking ship. Along with Taz, Joe states that Homicide has earned his respect, and humbly challenges him to a fair fight. Joe w/ Taz vs. Homicide for the X-divison title is booked.
At this unnamed PPV... Joe and Homicide have a war, but Homicide again slips away with the X-division title. They shake hands at the end. The rest of the belts change hands cleanly. Beer Money becomes Tag champs, Alissa Flash becomes Knockouts champ, Sting becomes Legends champ, and AJ walks away with the World title.
MEM has lost all power and gold. With nothing but disappointment and clashing egos, they basically disband.
So what do you think?
