I never really watched velocity so I was wondering was it any good? If so what was the best year for velocity? I know it had quite abit of CW matches on it in one year but i'm not sure when?
Thanks for any input.

Velocity was Smackdown's version of Heat. I much preferred Velocity, becuase not only did you have jobbers, but you had some upper mid carder's wrestling.
I'd say the best year for matches was 2005.

Velocity was great. As far as I'm concerned it was the best of all four WWE shows for quite some time. The best years had to be 2002-2003.

Thanks for your input so far guys. Was velocity ALL matches then or was it a highlight show too? How long were matches on average roughly? I have always preferred when lower card wrestlers get time to put on good matches and show what they can do, was this the case with velocity then?

Like Heat, there would be 3-5 matches, with highlights from that weeks SD! in between the new matches.

velocity was the crap. look into the highly acclaimed paul london/akio series. they had several top tier matches.

Velocity was an amazing show. I loved the many cruiserweight matches they had on there. It was easilly one of the best shows back in '04, along with SmackDown.

It was great especially when they had Josh Matthews and Bill DeMott as the color commentary. Like K5 said Paul London/Akio matches were top notch. Also a lot of cruiserweight matches. Kurt Angle was even on it once or twice.
