Its both their fault he shouldn't been drunk driving and the guy shouldn't of crossed the street illegally Ok then. The way you ended your post with asking if Donte was drunk sounded like you were trying to still prove your point. I guess I misinterpreted what you said, ala Bill Belicheck. No i was actually on your side. i didnt try to come at you it goes both ways right or wrong?

"Now I'm standing on the rooftops, ready to fall..."
....back in disbelief, as I agree with Rist w/ his comment about Mike earning a 2nd chance. I've been saying it all along that he paid his debt to society.

Uhhh so if Vick were drunk and dog fighting it's cool, but a drunk driver KILLING someone is "eh" Whatever Vick did...bankrolled, fought em, shot em etc was awful, terrible, disgusting etc but it did not end any human beings life like Donte Stallworth did...regardless if he was drunk. I actually lost respect for anyone who says drunk driving is not as bad as dog fighting or anything, if you think dog fighting is disgusting, what is killing another human being after drinking and smoking and putting others in danger? Yes, he DESERVES a second chance, this is America, he has the talent to warrant it. What he did was awful but it didnt end any human's life like Little or Stallworth did. People can change, people survived the dog fighting incident, but unfortunately someone didnt survive Donte Stallworths night on the town. So what you're saying is if some talentless 3rd string punter somewhere had done the same thing he wouldn't deserve a second chance? If I had my way, Vick would be blackballed. Goodell has stones, but not the kind of stones to do that.

Vick should be thrown out of the league. This is NOT his "second chance." More like 5th or 6th. Let's see, he was allegedly that "Ron Mexico" who supposedly gave some chick herpes. He flipped off the fans. He got caught with that bottle with a compartment at the airport which may have been marijuana. He tested positive for marijuana while waiting sentencing for his dog murdering/fighting. He didn't show up before Congress to get some award when he missed his flight and didn't try to get the next available flight. Of course, the dog murdering/fighting. How many chances do people want to give him.

You see thats the thing thats animal cruelty i don't know how someone can just go ahead and do something like that the same goes for everyone just because your athlete doesn't mean you can get away with anything like Donte did. its pathetic where is the justice

Don't get it twisted. The NFL and NFL related news stations are going to say he just bankrolled it. The police determined that he was actually present for a couple dog executions as well. What type of sick does that? He doesn't deserve anything. He was given a second chance by the NFL. The only thing Vick deserves right now is to try and work towards regaining some self respect. He's a ing embarrassment, honestly. I'm so sick of hearing for the past week "he deserves a second chance". What-the- -ever. Vick was sober, conscious, and absolutely of clear mind with his decisions to finance, run, and help operate it. As terrible as Stallworth's actions were atleast he was drunk. I mean, yes, he obviously made a conscious decision to drink that night but to me it's not even a comparison as to which act is more disgusting. Vick knew absolutely what he was doing...if he didn't, he's a moron. You know why Vick deserves a second chance? Because he paid his debt to society and served his ing time for the crime that he committed. Was what he did sick? Yes it was. Did he know what he was doing? He sure did. But you know what? He did his time and paid his dues and he should be able to go back to work after serving what the state gave to him. Other criminals who served time get to go back to society after they do their debt, why shouldn't Micheal Vick? I would agree that the situation is different, because if I went to prison I would lose my job and Vick went to prison and still gets to play in the NFL, but still, he should be able to come back and play. I see nothing wrong with him coming back, even if I don't agree with what he has done in the past. You are also forgetting that he lied to both his team owner and the commissioner of the league regarding his involvement in the dogfighting. If he's not suspended for 6 games for that then I'm calling bullcrapon this whole situation anyway. Sure, he's remorseful now that he got caught, but this commissioner has tried hard to have a no nonsense policy on extra curricular activities outside of football. Vick knew that and lied because he knew if he told the truth he'd be in deep shit. Well guess what? He got caught. Now he's definitely sorry because he's broke and wants to play football again. Not good enough. He owes the league some sort of suspension for that choice and it better be at least the 6 games. Period.

Yes, it was wrong... but when a world where people kill other people for money or shoes there is far more in justice going on the world, as for philly signing him, what ever. I dont care as long as he is productive. He is suspended half the season though right? How productive can he be? He signed a contract for one year? With a one year club option? I hope the eagles are ready to make his ass stick around for two years so they can try and get their moneys worth. I hate to say it, but when Mcnabb s up...and he will people will be calling for Vick in philly.

So, what did they do to reward behavior? They let him back in the league. Unbelievable. I hate to say this but after reading that whole laundry list of things he's done I'm finding it hard to understand why Goodell came down so hard on Pacman. I mean Vick makes Pacman look like Tom ing Brady.

i think he better off as a WRor RB imo Well then you understand very little about football. Let's see, he was allegedly that "Ron Mexico" who supposedly gave some chick herpes. a. Allegedly. b. He used the name "Ron Mexico" when he was getting checked at a clinic. Obviously, if he does have herpes, he didn't know at the time. c. So he banged some hoe. What's new? ... So? Probably not the most PR-friendly thing he's ever done, but it's certainly not something I'd be that worried about. He got caught with that bottle with a compartment at the airport which may have been marijuana. Probably was. What about it? Innocent until proven guilty, my friend. He tested positive for marijuana while waiting sentencing for his dog murdering/fighting. Which warrants, at most, a 4 game suspension for a first time offense. He didn't show up before Congress to get some award when he missed his flight and didn't try to get the next available flight. This has absolutely nothing to do with football. You see thats the thing thats animal cruelty i don't know how someone can just go ahead and do something like that the same goes for everyone just because your athlete doesn't mean you can get away with anything like Donte did. its pathetic where is the justice Did you black out for two years while he was in prison, or something? He didn't "get away" with it. He lost COUNTLESS millions of dollars and spent 2 years in prison.

I was about to bring up Pacman to the Cowboys fan who is bad-mouthing Vick. They let Jones back in the league. Now I dunno if you were as vocally against his reinstatement, but Pacman's offenses were way worse than anything Vick did.
