I just don't get how shooting yourself gets 36 months and killing a man while driving drunk doesn't even get 36 days. Your supposedly the smartest man on these boards especially according to law, do you actually think Burress serves 3 years in jail? Gimme a break

Ugh, the Giants rookie running back Andre Brown suffered a ruptured achilles, and is out for the season.

I think he gets longer than Stallworth though. I'd almost put money on it.

Bankrolling a dog fighting ring is nothing compared to killing someone, apples and bowling balls my friend.
Vick deserved the 2nd chance, Stallworth not really, but hey Leonard Little is still going so who says Stallworth cant

If he was, you're saying basically for an example, I understand a guy & a girl who cheated were wrong, but the guy was drunk, and the girl was sober, so its all his fault.

Its both their fault he shouldn't been drunk driving and the guy shouldn't of crossed the street illegally

The way you ended your post with asking if Donte was drunk sounded like you were trying to still prove your point. I guess I misinterpreted what you said, ala Bill Belicheck.

The NFL and NFL related news stations are going to say he just bankrolled it. The police determined that he was actually present for a couple dog executions as well. What type of sick does that? He doesn't deserve anything. He was given a second chance by the NFL. The only thing Vick deserves right now is to try and work towards regaining some self respect. He's a ing embarrassment, honestly. I'm so sick of hearing for the past week "he deserves a second chance". What-the- -ever. Vick was sober, conscious, and absolutely of clear mind with his decisions to finance, run, and help operate it. As terrible as Stallworth's actions were atleast he was drunk. I mean, yes, he obviously made a conscious decision to drink that night but to me it's not even a comparison as to which act is more disgusting. Vick knew absolutely what he was doing...if he didn't, he's a moron.

Uhhh so if Vick were drunk and dog fighting it's cool, but a drunk driver KILLING someone is "eh"
Whatever Vick did...bankrolled, fought em, shot em etc was awful, terrible, disgusting etc but it did not end any human beings life like Donte Stallworth did...regardless if he was drunk.
I actually lost respect for anyone who says drunk driving is not as bad as dog fighting or anything, if you think dog fighting is disgusting, what is killing another human being after drinking and smoking and putting others in danger?
Yes, he DESERVES a second chance, this is America, he has the talent to warrant it. What he did was awful but it didnt end any human's life like Little or Stallworth did. People can change, people survived the dog fighting incident, but unfortunately someone didnt survive Donte Stallworths night on the town.

Vick knew absolutely what he was doing...if he didn't, he's a moron. You know why Vick deserves a second chance? Because he paid his debt to society and served his ing time for the crime that he committed. Was what he did sick? Yes it was. Did he know what he was doing? He sure did. But you know what? He did his time and paid his dues and he should be able to go back to work after serving what the state gave to him. Other criminals who served time get to go back to society after they do their debt, why shouldn't Micheal Vick? I would agree that the situation is different, because if I went to prison I would lose my job and Vick went to prison and still gets to play in the NFL, but still, he should be able to come back and play. I see nothing wrong with him coming back, even if I don't agree with what he has done in the past.

So guys like Leonard Little are allowed to be given multiple chances because they were drunk when they commited crimes? Give me a ****ing break. And that's like saying as long as i'm intoxicated and not aware of what im doing, i can kill people and as long as it wasnt intentional it wont be bad? Chances are if you've done such a thing like drinking and driving then you've done it more than once. They may not intent on committing crimes but i'm sure as hell that they know what they're getting themselves into when they're drinking. if they dont, they're morons and they deserve to be locked up.

People act like the biggest reason Vick went to jail is for killing dogs. That's not the case. The biggest reason he went to jail is because of the gambling involved.
