TNA's Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett were back in Los Angeles late last week (I believe Wednesday or Thursday) for another round of meetings with FOX network executives. One source spotted them eating with execs at the Fox commissary.
As I noted earlier today on PWInsider.com, internally TNA is going forward with fall plans on the notion that they will have a two hour edition of Impact on either SpikeTV or a FOX Network entity. SpikeTV reportedly has plans to move UFC programming (including the Ultimate Fighter reality series) to Wednesdays if TNA remains with them, presumably to make way for a two hour version of Impact.
According to one source in the entertainment industry, FOX and TNA have discussed a multi-tier deal with the company where TNA-branded shows would air on multiple networks. The source believed the FOX discussions may have included the idea of a live broadcast weekly.
Interesting to note when speaking to TNA sources, however, Carter and Jarrett have both been very tight lipped, with TNA's staff often not knowing their whereabouts while out of the office.
If This is Old News Lock But If It isn't share your thoughts. I for one think this is great news and can make TNA even better
