I just read the article and it says that Danielson was going to be Kendrick's partner before he got released, but the Kendrick partner angle was dropped after about 2 weeks, so that doesn't make sense either. |

It could have been they wanted Danielson for Kendrick's partner, but they couldn't get him at the time like they thought they could, which is why they dropped the angle.
