I don't see it being any better then the stuff were listening to now. We'll be stuck with the same singers for the next 10 years. I would love for a band or singer to come out and change the world of music. But I don't see that ever happening. What do you guys think?

Considering all but one of my favorite bands is still together and making music.....and in their 30s.....I'm hoping more of that.

Hopefully ing Detox finally Seriously, but at this point I don't think even Dr. Dre believes it will live up to the hype. He could just re-use forgot about Dre, thats still relevant.

More of the same whiny, eyeliner wearing, Emo douches with backward mullets.
I'd love to see Black Flag get back together.

I want Rap back to be honest. I mean even in the first half of the decade we didn't have the crap that is considered hip hop and rap now. It's still somewhat good, but it's hard to see all the Cassidys, Drakes, and Commons because there's twice as many Jerkin, Swag Surfin, Two Steppin, Stankie Leggin', no talent hacks out there who can make up a song and dance to polute the airwaves for about a month. Which is just about as long as it takes for the next hack to come out and make another one. It absolutely sickens me that mainstream America gives crap like this enough attention to make on TV.
What's worse is that this crap is and has influenced other crap. It's like a revolving door of sh***y gimmick rap music.

I see there being a rock band having a breakthrough very similar to the one Nirvana had.

More crap music. Music is dead. The new music that comes out, isn't anything good, they just copy off of the classic legendary music artist.

I'd love to see Black Flag get back together. They did a reunion in 03 with Dez, Ginn, C'el, and Robo, although that lineup was kindof a hodge-podge of Black Flag members, so I would assume you would likely mean one of the main primary lineups, the quintessential lineups in my mind of... -Keith Morris, Greg Ginn, Chuck Dukowski, Robo OR -Henry Rollins, Greg Ginn, Kira Roessler, Bill Stevenson I'd take either/or, but I'm partial to Rollins. As far as other things, what I'm aware of, new Bad Religion album. Things up in the air, maybe any remote possibilities of any developments on the Descendents/ALL front, last Descendents album in 04, last ALL album in 2000, I wouldn't mind seeing something going on there. Also, any new material from Dillinger Four. Took them 6 years to put out "C I V I L W A R", hopefully they won't take that long again. -CMD

Hopefully At The Drive-In will get back together. There will be good music on the radio(Foo Fighters and Paramore) ,but people will hate it just because it is on the radio(much like now a days).Radiohead ,Metallica ,Jimmy Eat World ,Paramore ,Coheed and Cambria ,and Green Day will hopefully continue to release amazing albums.

Honestly, there IS still good music around. You just have to look for it, everyone saying music is dead... Yeah that's true in the mainstream. I mean when you have a song on the radio that repeatedly says "You're a Jerk" then there's something wrong with the world.
I want to see this "radio rap" stuff die out, like Soulja Boy stuff along with the You're a jerk type of stuff. I'd really like to see some GOOD rock bands get on the radio.
