The Go is awesome looking, and I bought it because I'm a whore for this kind of stuff, but really, the older units are better. They don't look as nice, and the only thing you lose is Bluetooth connectivity.

I'd say if you've never had a PSP then get the Go, UMD's will die out in a couple of years, and downloading games is the future. If you never got a PSP or UMD's then the Go is definately the way forward.

I just don't think that's true. You can download games as it is to the PSP regardless of model, but at least with the PSP-3000 or whatever, you will be able to find DIRT CHEAP games used somewhere, so in 10 years, if something happens to the service, you can still play games you paid for and the battery is easily replaced and allows you to remove it. You don't save ANY more money downloading either, which is understandable, but still bullshit. It's a great looking system, but it's not a better system.

I'm also only 16 so I don't have a credit card so downloading games won't be as easy as it should be.
I think i'm gonna just go with the classic PSP. IF the PSP GO had a battery life then I would go for it but since it doesn't that pretty much seals the deal.

You don't need a credit card, I think you can also use the PSN cards that they sell in stores.

I like the more sleek, portable-ness of the Go. UMDs, to me, were a pain in the ass, and no longer having to deal with them is a plus for me as well. Get a Go. I'm getting mine soon.
