Sting is not expected to retire at the upcoming Bound For Glory event
There is a strong possibility of a retirement tour for Sting and he could remain with TNA until Spring of next year.

I'm sure opinions are split on whether Sting helps or hurts TNA, but personally, I don't want him to retire. I would like to see AJ beat Sting at BFG and for Sting to take some time off and see where he's at. If he wants to keep going, great. If not, he'll probably have had a hell of a match with AJ to go out on.

This is what we hear every time there are rumours of Sting pondering retirement. It never happens, and I don't think it will in the Spring.

While I do think he should have retired some time ago, I can care less about this just as long as he doesn't go over AJ at BFG. There really isn't any good reason to job AJ out to him at that ppv.
I'm personally on the side that feels his time with TNA has been almost completely forgettable. Not necessarily bad, but just really forgettable considering how much time/money was invested in him over the last few years.

Great, now AJ gets a month run with the belt and jobs to Sting. The whole "retirement tour" won't work because Sting doesn't work house shows, so it's not a "tour" at all. It's just "TNA iMPACT: Sting Is Retiring". Ugh.

If Sting doesn't choose to retire at BFG, I hope AJ does the Styles Clash off the top rope through 2 flaming barbed wire tables, right onto Stings neck. Then he'll have no choice, ing old fart.

I see Sting winning and dropping the belt to AJ on Impact for some reason. But I mean if Sting doesn't work house shows I have no clue how his retirement tour will work

Urghhhh.
I honestly can't see anything left for him to do in TNA. If he beats AJ Styles and becomes the TNA champion again i'll be irritated.
