Everything Mattel has shown thus far reminds me of 99-01 Jakks. The rings look cheap (and I hate that they have a "breaking in half" feature... rings don't often do that), the bodies look wierd, the headsculpts look bad painted, and the cloth accessories are limited to the line that is going to cost 18-20 bucks in stores. I'll pass on this line.

This was a very nice day... I got my hands on Jakks first series of OUTSTANDING UFC figs and I got to see Mattel Protos for the WWE line.  |

The Basic figs are cool, glad they are RA types. The elite look sweet but aren't RA plus 14$ but it's probably worth it. Loving the looks of the championship belts there. Might pick up a spinner in the future. 2 Packs look sweet, tho some are photo shopped to the limit (Dibiase). Entrance gear sets look amazing. I'll probably pick 1 or 2 up when they arrive, then i'll decide. That 1 of 1000 belt is rofls tho

After looking back over everthing..Im impressed with mattel. Obviously with the stuff more aimed at collectors than kids and cant wait to get my hands on the stuff.
For what they are the kids stuff look cool and im sure my nephew would have lots of fun with them no doubt.
The WWE belt almost looking like a replica is nice to hear, with the faux leather im sure it would look good displayed.

14 bucks is tough to swallow (thats what she said) but I'll be going the elite route for sure...So I'm assuming that Taker and Edge's jackets in that line are actually removeable and NOT molded on?!

Looks really good to me for the most part. The only must have for me is that Austin. I have yet to see an RA or DA in stores and I really hope to find this figure. My favorite wrestler and I don't have a modern (RA or DA) figure of his. I feel ashamed.

So, will all of the assortments ( Basic, Elite, Entrance Greats and 2-Pack ) all be the same scale? If so, this will be awesome. Which will also mean i'll collect all 4 of those lines.

15 bucks is a little much. But its only 2 dollars more than the price of Deluxe here where im at. In an ideal world, the basics would be 5.99, and the Eltie would be 9.99. That would be winner winner.
