"Mattel informed me that in the Fall of 2010, a ‘Legends’ line will be released. They have no further information on the line other than the fact that it will indeed exist, and the target date. "
THANK YOU MATTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well as someone who actually read all 15 pages of post before replying, I think people are either A) being overly critical or B) Overly enthusiastic. The fact that "someone" jumped to conclusion that Mattel is DA is proof of this. The basic figures are much closer to RA or more accurately R3. Some things look brilliant. The detail is fantastic for the most part, but considering these prototypes are so overly photoshopped there is still room for a world of difference between these and the final product. I think we need to look at the things they are getting right and if you do that there is definite justification that they are going to a really good job. But they are not flawless by any means. The Flex Force crap is disappointing. Rey is missing tattoos, Hardy looks awful and Punk looks like he is playing air guitar. On the other hand the Undertaker's tattoos look more accurate than anything Jakk's has produced, it's just to bad his head looks bad. I think my overall judgment is that I am optimistic but cautiously so.

for real. It says the elite/entrance gear has articulation like DA and basic/superstars/and 2 packs are articulated like RA.
But are they the same scale, or different like RA and DA

OMG!!!! I always hated Jakks because they took the place of a toy company that could´ve done better. And now we see, HOW MUCH BETTER it can be! Those protos are nothing but AWESOME! I can´t wait to finally see the end of the crappy Jakks stuff and the new era of Mattel and WWE figures!
Jakks - nanananana, nanananana, heyyyyy, heyyyyy, good bye!!!! <- Won´t miss you liars!

But still no ing Savage...after seeing those entrance gear figures...I'd be licking my lips for Macho is his colorful robes and cowboy hats. They might do a Legends Entrance Gear series so we could get him

Some of them look pretty bad, but the ones that do actually look good, blow jakks out of the water. Every line will have a few bumps. The Elite line looks perfect, excet Edge looks really bad, the other look great though. At least we know Mattel wont blatantly cheap out on us. Jakks has the mentality of "release one with minor detail, release a second with good detail, so we sell double!" But really they'd have sold more altogether of just one perfect one, which looks like Mattel's line of thinking right now.

I asked and I saw someone else asked about elite and basic and if they would be the same scale. I read back again on the front page, and they all are the same scale That is so cool. so despite the articulated different, they are the same scale. SWEET
