Wow. Those Entrance figures looks awesome.
Some figures look really good. Others not soo much.
I thought some of the torso's would be a bit more realistic.
I just hope they have listened to out complaints about scale issues!

So stoked for these, honest to god. MVP's attire isn't outdated, he still uses that on houseshows and I think he'll be using it after his team with Henry is over, which is hopefully soon. It's my favourite out of his new design attires though.

I am ONLY impressed with the deluxe style figures... the rest are rather disappointing. They look like they are wearing Giant Gonzales suits...
On the bright side they actually made an impressive MVP that I will buy FOR SURE! I just hope they make figures of retired wrestlers like JBL, I would KILL for a new JBL figure!

These remind me of TNA figures. Some of these figures have very bad skin-tones.
I'm with anyone who has said that there needs to be some realism with these. Some of the scans are cheesy and garbage, but this is their first set.. Some are decent.
I don't think I'll get anything.

Geez, I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way (cuz this forum is quick to judge) but, some of the members on here are the biggest b!&@hes I've heard in my life. Reading most of theses comments is like listening to a bunch of middle aged white christian women whinning about Grand Theft Auto and rap videos brain washing their children. I think these figs are GREAT and they are the change we need. If you don't like the new figs then pack up your Jakks crap and find a "has-been" forum to sit around pissed off. For everyone else *CHEERS* to a new start WOOOO MATTEL!!!!!!

The Ultimate Championship belt made me laugh, but the other belts look pretty damn good. All of the figures look great, but Matt Hardy doesn't look right for some reason. The Entrance Greats figures all look amazing, but $22 bucks a pop isn't worth it for me. WrestleMania Heritage figures seem pretty cool, as it's a way for us to get old school attires and legends. I plan on getting the full set of the Elite Collection Series 1, minus Rey, as he's the only one in the set that I'm not a big fan of. I'll probably also try to get Beth and Jericho out of the two pack series.

These are far superior on the whole to anything we have received from Jakks. It is really that simple.

I don't know what to say about those protos. They just look don't look right but I'll wait and see for the final product and then really decide if I should buy any of them. But for now I do t think I will collect any of them. The only positive I see is that Beth looks pretty good

I will give it to Mattel in that these figures look leaps and bounds superior to Jakks' offerings both in sculpt and detailed paint jobs (provided the release figures are pretty faithful to the prototype pictures). That said, the only thing that irks me is that Mattel is creating two distinct body types, the basic style and the elite style. The only reason Jakks pumped out DA and RA at the same time was because they did not want to completely alienate their existing RA customer base by forcing them to switch over completely to DA. Mattel could have killed two birds with one stone and produce properly scaled, super articulated figures. They could use the eventual repaints in two packs and special entrance gear lines to make up for the cost of the more articulated figure assuming it's that much more expensive to produce. I never full on collected RA styled figures for the reason that there is no excuse in this day and age that an action figure line should have the limited articulation, in my opinion, that the RA figure style had. Also, compared to Mattel's DC Universe and current Masters of the Universe line, the basic figure style just seems like a step backwards. I am glad for those that do like that the basic style stays close to the RA style, but I think I will go with the elite instead since I like posing figures and a wrestling figure that can't be posed in the signature moves of the wrestler it represents to me is as pointless as a Transformer that doesn't transform.

Fixed for mine...I never got used to R3, and took a while to get used to RA, so who knows? As long as you know what you like and what you don't like...
