..a guy who is also in his mid-40's that Tito has fought before...and Tito literally got spanked...Randy Couture..

Anybody else feel the only reason Tito is in the UFC is for Chuck/Tito 3 so Chuck can get one last big payday and the UFC can dust off all that old footage and issue a special edition DVD set of all three fights?

mmm doubt it..
that would be the most pointless trilogy match ever..
I mean Shamrock/Ortiz 3 at least had the "controversy" surrounding it at least..
I think Tito is in the UFC because the UFC is smart and didn't want him going to Strikeforce where he would be a HUGE name and bring in a pretty nice fanbase..
I'm betting chuck would love that fight though..haha..it would be pretty sad if Chuck lost that one though..

That sucks for Coleman, hope he recovers and comes back to UFC when he's better. I wonder who Tito will fight then? Hm

That's what I thought from day one. I'm sure it also involves UFC not wanting him to go to Strikeforce, but it seems logical to believe another fight with Chuck is on their mind. Even if some think it's pointless, I'm sure they'd find it hard not to get excited for the fight. All it'd take is a win or two by Tito, along with him doing a ton of trash talking, and we'd have a hyped money match.

Somebody told me that Coleman is going to be replaced by Travis Fulton, which seems to have no basis other than Wikipedia.

Am I the only one glad Coleman's old ass is out? Stop fighting already... god-dammit.

Am I the only one glad Coleman's old ass is out? Stop fighting already... god-dammit. If you just don't like his style, then I can see why you'd feel this. If you're just basing it on his age, then I really don't really get your deal. If he can pass the required physicals, stay in shape, and isn't getting beaten by bone jarring ko's in every fight, then why should he stop?

I just don't like Coleman.
