UFC's Junie Browning arrested after alleged hospital assaults by MMAjunkie.com Staff on Oct 07, 2009 at 9:45 pm ET
Controversial UFC fighter Junie Browning was arrested Tuesday night and accused of assaulting three nurses at St. Rose Dominican Hospital's Siena campus in Henderson, Nev.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, citing a police report, Browning was taken to the hospital after taking 16 pills of Klonopin, an anti-anxiety drug, "in an attempt to harm himself."
"The Ultimate Fighter 8" cast member reportedly faces three counts of battery on a health care provider.
According to the report, Browning, who's still listed on the UFC.com roster as an active UFC fighter, pushed a female nurse, punched a male nurse, and kicked another male nurse.
"Do you know who I am? I will kill you and rape your family," police said he yelled to nurses.
Browning was briefly held at the Henderson Detention Center but has since been released.
Browning most recently competed for the UFC in April, when he suffered a submission loss to Cole Miller at UFC Fight Night 18. However, after his drunken antics and repeated attempts to fight fellow cast members on "TUF," many wondered why UFC executives kept Browning in the organization in the first place.
Soon after "TUF," Browning relocated to Las Vegas from Kentucky and said he his was simply playing to the cameras on the reality show.
Wow, that guy needs help BAD. "I will kill you and rape your family". Are you serious?

I'm sure his outburst at the nurses had nothing to do with the drugs and had everything to do with them being "boring-assed wrestlers." So now we get to so if the UFC is like the NFL and has hard justice until there is a need for talent.

Part of me had hoped he had went through a little growing up after the show. He seemed pretty humble in his first UFC win. This is just nuts though. Hopefully he gets some help before he hurts himself or anyone else.

Junie really needs help.
The sad part is that his lack of self- control has now cost him his dream job, but Dana White really had no choice. I just hope that Junie gets some treatment and is able to get though this without further harming himself or other people.
The silver lining of Junie losing his UFC job is that a person as emotionally fragile as Junie probably should not be an active MMA fighter until they get better. He's clearly got major, major issues, and I'm not sure if the high-pressure atmosphere of training for a UFC fight (and all the crap that goes with it... media appearances, travel, medicals, being in the spotlight, etc.) would do him any favors right now.

He just wasted a golden opportunity. Hopefully he sorts out his actions and gets back to MMA
