- Really ironic that the opening contest will take place here in Syracuse on January 30th, should be a good match. Cheech and Cloudy rightfully go over. - Liked the Hero/Lynn segment. Big fan of Hero. - I’ve preferred Jay over Mark anyway. Good to see him pick up the win. - Good way to end 2009 with Hero going over Lynn.

-I like the idea of showing clips from 2009 throughout the show -Glad Cheech and Cloudy won as I've seen them live and I haven't got to see the Super Smash Bros. -Good idea to recap the Wolves winning the Tag Titles -Hero's segment with a midget was classic and seemed pretty realistic. His match with Lynn should be good -Whenever the Briscoes wrestle, I always go for Jay as I feel he's the better half -Recapping Nigel & Dragon's last matches was a good idea and hyping the ROH World Title match was well done also -Hero winning was great as I see 2010 being the year of Hero & Davey
Another very good, realistic episode of ROH on HDNet and bringing in Liger for some main events is nice.

I like the idea of showing the good moments from ROH from throughout 2009 on the show. Not surprised Super Sash Bros didn't win. The Chris Hero and Jerry Lynn segment was great. Jay is the better wrestler over Mark, so I'm glad that Jay beat Mark. Hero over Lynn is some good stuff. I can see a huge push for Hero in 2010. Jushin Liger coming in should be fun.

Episode 4104.01.10 The first ROH on HDNet of 2010 kicks off with a clip of Final Battle 2009. Ending with Tyler Black winning the belt and Hogewood shouting, “He did it, he did won the World Title.” The show then begins with a new opening video (and music) before the new World Champion, Tyler Black walks out to a thunderous applause. After calming down the crowd Black talks about how proud he is of holding such a prestigious title. However he explained that the video we just saw wasn’t all what happened on that night and played the rest as Jimmy Jacobs returned attacking Black. Black said that Jacobs can never let Black be happy no matter what and he will get his vengeance. Davey Richards then walked down and told Black to shut up about Jacobs as he should be worrying about him who he faced for the title tonight. Joey Ryan versus Bobby DempseyBefore the match Ryan got on the mic complaining that he has to wrestle such a “hideous ogre.” At first there was some comedy with Dempsey chasing Ryan before talking advantage. After poking Dempsey in the eye during a bearhug Ryan soon took advantage. After a series of moves Ryan hit That 70’s Kick right in Dempsey’s face to get the three count. Winner Joey RyanWe then went backstage to interviewer Kyle Durden who was with Sara Del Ray. Ray mocked Lufisto saying there’s only one “Queen Bitch” in ROH and that’s her. Lufisto then walks over and has heated words with Ray. The two nearly come to blows before students and referees stop them (with most of them being knocked down) Eddie Kingston versus Lance LudeAbsolute squash, Kingston was very over with the Philly fans from the time he made his entrance till the time he left. Lude is a very small skinny man who normally tags with his partner J-Sinn as the Set. Lude tried to attack Kingston but got a slap to the face. After shots in the lariat, a backdrop driver and Spinning Back Fist Lude was done. “Slap a Porpoise!” Hogewood proclaimed as Kingston picked up the win. Winner Eddie Kingston We then went backstage again where Kyle Durden looked a little shaken up from being pushed on the floor by Del Ray and Lufisto earlier. Davey Richards then marches on and boots Dudren over onto the concrete floor. Richards looks straight into the camera telling Black he better be focused. Because if he thinks about Jacobs for just one second, Black’s reign will be the shortest in history. Sami Callihan and the Dark City Fight Club versus Colt Cabana, Brent Albright and Grizzly RedwoodA bit of a strange match as it just seemed very thrown together. Colt and Sami had a stand off to begin with Colt getting the advantage after a little comedy. Albright came in and took everyone out before tagging to Redwood who was picked apart by the opposing team. Redwood then eventually made the hot tag to Colt who took everyone out with elbows. Brent then used Redwood as a weapon throwing him over the top rope then hit a suicide dive on the opposite side of the ring. This allowed Colt to get the win via submission with the Billy Goats Curse. Winners Colt Cabana, Brent Albright and Grizzly RedwoodA graphic popped up announcing that next week Kevin Steen and El Generico will team up to take on the Young Bucks in a Final Battle rematch. Short clips were shown of interviews from both teams. Steen said he was very surprised at the Bucks last time but won’t let them win again. ROH World Championship Tyler Black versus Davey RichardsBoth men got load applause in their entrances and both also received streamers. As the new champion Black no longer had a “Next World Champ” chant but Richards continues to get his “Best in the World” chant. The match started off slow with both men trying to get takedowns. The match built up to Richards getting control after Prazak noted that Black “looked distracted.” Richards then started to work over the chest and abdomen and the effect was shown early on. Black fought back and sent Richards to the outside and followed it up with a flip to the outside. However Richards moved out of the way and left Black fall to the hard floor. Richards continued to take control-dominating Black until Black suddenly hit the Pele kick. The two made their way to their feet and threw fists, elbows and knees before Black went for the God’s Last Gift however this was stopped by former champion Austin Aries causing a double DQ attacking both men. No Winner via Double DQAries was then joined by Rhett Titus and Kenny King who joined in on the beating. After beating down both men Titus handed Aries the ROH World Championship as the three men posed over Richards and Black. COPYRIGHT 2010 RING OF HONOR WRESTLING, INC

- Joey Ryan going over Bobby Dempsey was the obvious call. I hope Joey gets a good push or storyline. - Eddie Kingston dominating is fun, Kingston could easily feud over the title. - Sami Calihan has a bit of a stigma to him being a CZW guy but he ain't a half bad worker. Still, the right team won. - Huge main event and the result worked well. Aries attack both men sets up a triple threat match for the future.

New opening music/video makes sense as it is a new year. Opening promo was good. Opening match was ok as well. Women's promo made sense to get me to care about them. Glad Kingston got the win, I wouldn't mind a potential title shot for him in the future. Six-man tag was decent, Cabana was the right guy for you to let win. I like the Double DQ as I thought for sure that Black would retain clean. Pretty good show, I hope to see big pushes for Kingston and Omega in the new year.

- Didn’t even realize you had a new show up, my bad. - Okay opening segment. Black/Jacobs should be a good feud/match. I obviously don’t think Richards will win tonight, but he should make it interesting. - Glad that Ryan went over Dempsey. - Kingston getting a squash is interesting and good for him. - liking the very serious Richarrds. - Alright six man tag, I guess. Good win for Cabana’s team. - Ehh, I guess the double DQ saves anyone from having to lose or anything so that works. - No Jacobs?

Episode 4211.01.10 ROH on HDNet 2010 starts straight off with the area going dark with red lighting. Our commentators try to tell us what it going on. Then we see a man emerging from the crowd in ripped jeans and a hoodie. The man rises over the barricade to reveal himself as the retuning Jimmy Jacobs. Jacobs cuts an awesome promo focused on the rebirth of the Age of the Fall and Tyler Black. Jacobs then calls out Tyler Black numerous times to no response. The screens then show Black laid out backstage with another man similarly dressed to Jacobs running away. Jacobs end the promo saying that he is not alone. Sonjay Dutt versus Grizzly RedwoodJust a quick match to put Sonjay over, Sonjay played heel very well and got a good response. The fans weren’t into Redwood much and he had very little offence but still tried for his double axe handles to chop Dutt down. All of Grizzly’s offence failed and Sonjay locked in a Camel Clutch to make Redwood tap. Winner Sonjay DuttWe then go into the Embassy’s locker room where Prince Nana is with Jimmy Rave and Bison Smith. Nana mentions that Ernie is gone and that their associates (Joey Ryan and Claudio Castagnoli) have ended all ties with the Embassy. Nana said that they must stay united and they will show that later tonight. Rhett Titus versus Necro ButcherNecro brought a 2x4 to the ring with him and threatened to hit Titus with it before referee Tod Sinclair took it away from him. Titus avoided many of the Butchers fists at first and even shouted “Not the face” when Necro went to hit him. A front flip off the apron also caused an applause front the ROH fans. After some good back and forth action Titus missed the Frog Splash and Necro hit the Tiger Driver for the 3-count. Winner Necro ButcherInterviewer Kyle Durden was backstage with the Briscoe Brothers, they talk about their differences from the end of 2009 and say they have put it behind them. They say that next week they will be united as a team once more. A small graphic then shows hyping up Jimmy Jacobs return match to ROH next week. Roderick Strong versus Jimmy RavePrince Nana came out with his client “The Crown Jewel of the Embassy” shouting about the Embassy. Strong had most of the offence and the fans knew which way this way the match was going but this was no means a squash match. As always in Strong’s matches Strong used a variety of backbreakers to weaken down Rave and they certainly did the trick. The match was mostly contested on the matt but Rave did go to the top rope once but landed on Strong’s knees leading to a Sick Kick for the win. Winner Roderick Strong ROH World Champion Tyler Black joined Kyle Durden but was still holding his head from the attack earlier. Tyler said that he realises that as the champ he has a target on his head whether that be former champ Austin Aries, the man who went to a draw with him last week Davey Richards or his blood rival Jimmy Jacobs. Kevin Steen and El Generico versus The Young BucksThis was a rematch from Final Battle 2009 where the Bucks got the win and went on to face the American Wolves in the same night. Steen seemed very focused on getting the win and got frustrated at times at Gernerico for playing to the crowd. Lots of high flying from both teams including a 450 Splash from Matt, a moonsault of the apron from Nick and a Senton from Steen. The teams continued to battle on until Steen hit the Package Piledriver on Matt and went to give Matt to Generico for the Brainbuster. However Generico was still down on the outside, Steen then called Generico to get back in the ring but had his back turned and got rolled but in a Sunset Flip for the 3-count. Winners The Young BucksMike Hogewood then put over the Bucks saying that they definitely deserve a tag title shot after that performance. Back in the ring Steen and Generico had some words in the ring but seemed to sort it out and leaving together. COPYRIGHT 2010 RING OF HONOR WRESTLING, INC

- I really like the promo by Jacobs and the feud with Black is coming along nicely. - Solid win for Sonjay, I guess. Not that big on Sonjay. - It’s always interesting to see Necro wrestle in non-hardcore matches. As for his match with Titus, didn’t seem all that great to me, but I don’t think it was intended to be, anyway. - Good match and good win for Roderick Strong. I do hope the Embassy get some more members or that Jimmy Rave gets a big push. I’ve always liked the Embassy character. - I’d suspect a Kevin Steen heel turn, and that would be great. He seems like he could be a quality heel. Bucks winning is okay I guess.

Sorry I legitimately missed your show for replies, didn't realize you had a new show up. Jacobs not alone? You have me interested there. Dutt winning is cool, wonder how far up the card he can realistically go. Glad Necro picked up the W in his match. Figured Strong would win, solid match there. Figured Young Bucks would win. Tag titlte shot would be cool. Like the tension tease for the losing team as the show went off the air. Another good show, looking forward to more.

Ring of Honor Wrestling: Monday 11th January 2010: Alright, decent promo to kick off tbe show with Jimmy Jacobs cutting a promo on Tyler Black. Would be a great feud, if it were for the ROH World Championship. Sonjay Dutt overcoming Grizzly Redwood is fine, nothing too special, I am not a big fan of Redwood whatsoever, so Dutt picking up the win was the best way to go. Necro Butcher beating Rhett Titus is good, nothing too special though. One of these days, I'd love for the ROH Pure Championship to come back, just for the midcard scene because, there's only the ROH World Championship and the ROH World Tag Team Championships being served out as prizes, which isn't too good for the undercard in my opinion. Roderick Strong and Jimmy Rave would have had a decent bout, Strong picking up the win is fine, and he'd really serve a great ROH Pure Champion. The man deserves some title reigns, he's underrated as hell. I am not the Young Bucks' biggest fan, in fact, if you ask me, they're incredibly overrated and I could personally sleep a good night's sleep if they weren't in Ring of Honor. But it was based to get Kevin Steen and El Generico in some miscommunication. Decent episode this week.

Episode 4318.01.10 The show kicked off with a re-cap of last weeks segment with Jimmy Jacobs mentioning that he is not alone. We then went over to Mike Hogewood and Dave Prazak who welcomed us to this edition of ROH on HDNet, then took it to the ring where two men were already waiting. KENTA and Delirious versus Shane Hollister and Kyle O'ReillyA strange but surprisingly awesome way to kick off this edition of ROH on HDNet. The randomly paired duo of KENTA and Delirious worked surprisingly well together and definitely got the fans behind them. Another surprising element of the match was their opponents. O'Reilly (who made his HDNet debut) looked awesome and it was no surprise as his trainer is Davey Richards. Kyle had some awesome hard-hitting exchanges with KENTA but it was his partner, Hollister who took the fall following a GTS / Shadows Over Hell combo. Winners KENTA and Delirious“That Young Knockout Kid” Chris Hero was backstage with interviewer Kyle Durden. After mistakenly calling Kyle “Kylie” Hero started to focus on Kenny Omega. Hero mocked him and even copied his pose, wondering what it actually meant. But Hero said that after tonight Omega will just be another “brick in the road to Hero’s road to glory.” Jimmy Jacobs versus Alex PayneQuick squash match, the fans much preferred the heel, Jacobs to the supposedly face Payne who got his usual “Worst in the World” chants. Jacobs locked in the End Time and Payne quickly tapped. Winner Jimmy JacobsAfter the match Jacobs brought out a spike and bloodied Payne with it much to the applause of the bloodthirsty fans. The camera zoomed in on Jacobs who shouted “We are not alone.” Backstage Kyle Durden is with Lufisto and they try to have words with her about Sara Del Ray. However she is attacked by Ray who comes running on and clotheslines Lufisto. After throwing her into the set staff members move her away. Claudio Castagnoli versus Erick Stevens This was a battle of the big men between the “Runaway Train” and the “Very European” Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio continued to impress with his athleticism, agility and power while Stevens seemed more one dimensional in comparison. Stevens did attempt the Doctor Bomb but then Claudio surprised everyone with an amazing hurricanrana. Claudio later followed up with a powerbomb variation of his own in the form of a Ricola Bomb. Winner Claudio CastagnoliA graphic then popped up announcing the next ROH PPV next month titled as the 8th Anniversary Show and you can pre-order it for a special price from In-Demand. A second graphic then popped up announcing the American Wolves will face the Young Bucks for the titles at the8th Anniversary Show due to their recent performances at both Final Battle and last weeks HDNet show. The Briscoes Brothers versus Kenny King and Rhett TitusThe time flew by in this match, it seemed because there is five matches tonight two of them have to be short. At first it seemed like the match was going to go longer but then the pace picked up and soon there was big moves being hit. King and Titus got the win following a Springboard Blockbuster. What was strange about the ending is that Mark just watched the pin from the apron and didn’t even bother breaking it up. Winners Kenny King and Rhett TitusConfused by what just happened King and Titus exited quickly. Meanwhile Mark entered the ring with a mic in hand while standing over his brother. Mark just said four simple words to explain himself “We are not alone” showing his alignment with Jimmy Jacobs. We went back to our commentators were they hyped up next weeks main event of Tyler Black putting his title on the line against Sonjay Dutt. In addition to that match we will be finding out the opponents for Japanese Wrestling Icon Jushin “Thunder” Liger. Kenny Omega versus Chris HeroBoth men got good reactions from the crowd, Omega had a few streamers and a “Omega” chant while Hero had many streamers and a duelling “Chris is Awesome,” “Chris Sucks” chants. The match itself was also well received from the fans who kept their chants up throughout the match. Omega and Hero have worked together before in PWG so they had some good chemistry. A fun spot was where Omega shouted, “STOP!” at Hero where he usually goes for the enzuigiri but Hero caught him with an Elbow to the face. The ending spot came where the two exchanged holds until Hero caught Omega with a Roaring Elbow (with loaded elbow pad) to get the 3-count. ROH43: Nice to see Kenta and Delirious go over in the opening battle. I lol'd a Hero calling Kyle, Kylie. Nice promo overall with Hero I liked the 'brick in the road to Hero's glory.' part. Not surprised that Jacobs won, an obvious result. We are not alone? Wonder what that could mean. I Don'tknow alot about the men in match three, seemed like a nice contest, I like Claudio Castagnoli. Good tag team action, shame the Briscoe Brothers couldn't pick up the win. Tyler Black vs Sonjay Dutt should be kick ass. I'm extremely glad, Hero won the Main Event. Nice Show , keep it up.

Ring of Honor Wrestling: Monday 18th January 2010...Decent opening contest to kick off the show, with KENTA and Delirious taking on Shane Hollister and Kyle O'Reilly. Easy win for them, and Hollister and O'Reilly sounds like an absymal team, and I was not a fan of the random teaming of KENTA with Delirious, really. Jimmy Jacobs beating Alex Payne is fine, no problem there at all, as it sets Jacobs up for the future. Claudio Castagnoli beating Erick Stevens is fine, never really found Castagnoli a decent performer really, and I can't stand Stevens. Hopefully you don't push the 'Very European' Claduio Castagnoli in ROH. Good idea for the 8th Anniversary Show, but I hope to God that the American Wolves pick up the win against the Young Bucks, because the Jacksons are not my favorite team, they're one-dimensional to me, and their ring name 'The Young Bucks' sounds generic enough. Hopefully the Wolves retain the ROH World Tag Team Championships. The Briscoe Brothers losing to Kenny King and Rhett Titus? That's great. I hate the Briscoe Brothers, as they are majorly overrated to me. King and Titus are the way of the future. Good idea for next week's edition of Ring of Honor Wrestling, with an ROH World Championship defense. As I mentioned previously, I hope Chris Hero gets the ROH World Championship in 2010. Hero beating Kenny Omega is predictable, good episode, but very lacklustre this week.

- I don’t know who Reilly and Hollister are, but Kenta and Delirious are awesome. - Hero is great, and I’m glad to see him being used properly. - Jacobs squash is good for him. Good beat down and I’m interested to see who is with Jacobs - Solid match with Claudio/Stevens. Claudio going over works for me. - Surprised to see King and Titus win.. But I’m glad to see the Briscoe’s splitting up. - Mark is with Jacobs?!?!?! Awesome! - Obvious that Hero was going to win the main event. Hero for World Champ!

-Never heard of O'Reilly or Hollister, but glad they put on a good showing. KENTA & Delirious are an awesome team however -Hoping Hero goes over Omega -Jimmy Jacobs being back is interesting, I wonder if the Age of the Fall is over -A Del Rey/LuFisto feud would be awesome -Claudio over Stevens was a good call, Claudio is awesome -Bucks/Wolves at 8th Anniversary Show should be excellent -The Briscoes split? While I don't mind the idea, I feel that it should've been done better. Like have Mark attack Jay and then Jacobs show up. It seemed like a lackluster turn to me -Hero over Omega was great, hoping for Hero to be the one to eventually dethrone Black
Solid episode, next week should be great with an ROH World Title match. Looking forward to that.

Episode 4425.01.10 This edition of ROH on HDNet kicks off in the ring with Jimmy Jacobs and Mark Briscoe (wearing new Age of the Fall t-shirts) Jacobs starts off saying that last week he proved he was not alone. Mark goes into a promo saying how he was never noticed for his true potential. Jacobs gave a new clue saying, “the numbers will rise.” Eddie Kingston versus Shiima XionAs always with Kingston this wasn’t much of a match, Eddie marched to the ring then slapped Shiima in the face. After some shots in the corner Xion looked ready to be pinned. However Eddie hadn’t finished yet, after a few suplexes Eddie picked up Shiima and hit a Spinning Backfist to knock his opponent clean out. Winner Eddie KingstonStraight after the match music then started playing and a man then emerged from the entrance and made his way to the ring. The man was the returning Steve Corino who grabbed the microphone and congratulated Kingston on his win. Corino then started mocking Kingston and his NY heritage, which also irritated the fans. Kingston then went to attack Cornio but he was too fast and quickly escaped. Grizzly Redwood versus Sami CallihanAn ok back and forth match between both men, Callihan was crazy as usual and Grizzly used his strength to combat crazy Callihan. Callihan dominated much of the centre of the match with attacks to the ribs. After powering out of an Abdominal Stretch Grizzly went to chop the larger Callihan down. Grizzly then went to get a big win with the Tornado DDT but Callihan counted into a DDT of his own. Winner Sami CallihanWe then went back to our commentators who announced the future matches of Jushin “Thunder” Liger when he comes to ROH on HDNet soon. His first match will be a tag team match as he teams up with Roderick Strong to take on the American Wolves. His second match will be up against the newly crowned ROH World Champion, Tyler Black for the belt. Austin Aries versus Brent AlbrightA decent match from both men with Aries using his quickness against the power and strength of Albright. Aries was playing his heel role very well and as the Hog said he was “breaking every rule in the book” from bullying the referee to stretching the rules. Aries seemed like he had the match won as he went to the top rope but Albright powered to his feet and pushed Aries to the outside. Albright then delivered a suicide dive to the outside but was only good enough for a two count. Aries eventually got the win locking in the Last Chancery and making Albright submit. Winner Austin AriesAfter the match Austin Aries remains in the ring and gets a microphone from ringside. The crowd boo him so loudly that it is hard to hear him speak but waits for them to die down before speaking. He claims to be the number one contender to the ROH World Title and demands that he gets his rematch at the 8th Anniversary show. ROH World Championship Tyler Black versus Sonjay DuttThis was a good main event but lacked that special something to make it a great main event. Surprisingly for Sonjay he kept his offence mostly on the ground only hitting very few ariel moves. Black had a strong fan following throughout and kept it up with his trademark moves. Black had an extremely close call following the Buckle Bomb/Superkick combo but Dutt managed to get a shoulder up. The end came when Sonjay caught Black in a small package, he got a two count but Black got to his feet (while still in the hold) and hit the God’s Last Gift. Winner Tyler BlackCOPYRIGHT 2010 RING OF HONOR WRESTLING, INC
