The more I see of The Undertaker the more I must have his Mattel figure haha. Santino also keeps looking better and better each time I see him, Punk as well. I don't even think a comment is needed for the Entrance Greats Mysterio...great figure.

Are Undertakers hands removable? I don't see how else the coat comes off....but THANKFULLY it does. I was worried about that when we originally saw the protos.
I think Jakks faces look better than what we have seen so far from Mattell....hopefully they improve as the years go on. I remember Jakks used to be horrid at sculps and early scans too.

The more I see these the WORSE they looks. I mean the tats, colors and bodies are AMAZING. Absolutely a work of art. But the heads. Oh man.....how awful. They have an LJN or Chinese knockoff look to them. Not using real scan is a BAD idea. Real scan was developed and has become the standard bearer in action figures. These molds are just silly.

Very impressed with the Triple H! Taker's face threw me off a bit, but with the hat on it looks great. I wish we could have seen an Evan Bourne just to see how he turned out.
Very nice videos, thanks Ringside!

Mattel's headscans are terrible, I don't like any of them.
Also, I'm officially not buying into the Entrance Greats hype, because look at the Mysterio in the video, and look at the actual picture from the event. The feathers alternated between yellow and green, but on the figure they're mostly yellow. What's the point of paying $20+ for extra detail when they don't get it right?

That Beth looks incredible. It's a shame all the rest of the figures are ugly as hell. I'm sorry but those body molds are just down right ugly. The scan's are pretty bad as well and look cartoonish.

These seem hit and miss. There's room for improvement.

I think of all the figures Mattel has shown us so far, Beth is the best one. But yeah....the faces are really terrible.

Wow, those are bad, really bad. Aside from the tattoos on Taker, I'm not really liking any of these at all.
I really can't see the big deal behind Mattel, the headscans are horrible, Taker, Edge, Batista, CM Punk, Bet was pretty good though. Those legs on Mysterio makes him look out of proportion, they're far too long.
WWE really should have stuck with Jakks cause Mattel certainly isn't living up to the expectations, they can have the high detail and scale all they like but the rest just aint working.

As of right now, I think that Mattel is doing ten times better than jakks. i think the detail in the attire is so much better. While the scans are far from perfect, I have faith that they will improve with time. i am looking forward to 2010, and getting rid of Jakks.

I have a feeling that the majority of you criticizing Mattel are just big babies still sore about not having anymore Jakks WWE RA's. Please get over it. Those RA bodies absolutely suck. They are horrible. They weren't even very good in 2003. Mattel is so far beyond anything Jakks produced. I can finally buy WWE figures and not completely regret every purchase I make. You'd think Jakks may have learned, but their TNA line looks like absolute garbage as well. Thank you Mattel...thank you for actually caring about the products you produce.

Just to confirm, I dislike Mattel for their horrible figures, not cause they're not RA, since I prefer DA.

Its only there first go at wrestling figures, jakks didn't suddenly come out with the best stuff just give them time since its a new market for them.
