Saw VI answered alot of questions that have been set throughout the series. Those answers have changed the timeline drastically, So has anyone got a Saw - VI timeline

Haven't seen Saw VI yet but Saw V actually contradicted the timeline set from one. In the first movie and in the extras in it the say the barbwire trap was the first one, but in V Seth Baxter was killed to copycat jigsaw and later Hoffman is shown helping get the guy for the barbwire trap.

I don't remember them ever saying that the Barb Wire Trap was first. It was the first one ever shown in the series, but the Knife Trap Jigsaw used on Cecil in Saw IV might actually be the first one. |

In the bonus features during the fake case file show they said that is was his first victim, but that was more of a thing where they were doing extras and didn't have the complete story planned out.

The Knife Chair from Saw 4 was Jigsaw's first, the Pendulum trap from Saw V was Hoffman's first, the Razor Wire Maze from Saw 1 was their first trap together. |
