Someone on wrestlecrap forum just posted this: Sources close to Hulk Hogan have informed us that he will be making a big announcement today at his press conference in Madison Square Garden scheduled to start in a few minutes. Secretly, there were banners for both Spike TV and TNA being put up as a backdrop minutes ago in MSG. Sources close to the situation say Hogan has inked a deal with TNA and that more will come out in his announcement. Hogan is believed to be not the only big name signed although he may be the only one announced today. f4wonline.com It's a site that requires a log in, but the headline can be seen and it reads: •Breaking news: Hogan to make a huge announcement imminently Holy .

The story if true is breaking news by Bubba, of course - Hogan's best friend. Bubba says on Twitter, he's not lying and Hogan as well as Bischoff are "The Boss!" Hogan's press conference is going on right now in NYC, maybe it will be announced then and there. Here we go, who's ready?

Ugh... just when they were booking up the younger talents.
Final Resolution 2009 Hulk Hogan def. AJ Styles ( c )
Not saying it'll happen, just worst case realistic scenario.

Is Jeff Jarret there with the equalizer?
It's also being reported on WZROnline. Huge move for TNA. Bischoff too? TNA pulling out the big guns.

This could either be the beginning of the ascension to competing with WWE, or the downfall of TNA.

From pwinsider.com:
TNA President Dixie Carter and several top flight TNA officials are at Hulk Hogan's press conference in New York City at Madison Square Garden right now.
The former WCW and WWF champion has inked a deal to join TNA with former WCW Vice President Eric Bischoff joining him in the company as well.
Obviously, this is going to be the start of major changes for the organization.
We'll have more on this breaking story shortly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wow......TNA is somewhat more interesting now, especially by signing Bischoff!

Hogan is washed up and Bischoff isn't going to do anything major with TNA. TNA was doing what they've been struggling with lately. They signed a lesser known talent, that is fantastic and are pushing the younger, homegrown talent. Signing Hogan, while marketable... is a step back, in my opinion. - Triple S

This could either be the beginning of the ascension to competing with WWE, or the downfall of TNA. I think ascension. Hulk needs the Money, so I think he's going to realize that he should listen, have input, and that's it. Plus, casual Wrestling Fans are going to tune in to watch TNA now, and not to mention all of the people who mostly know him from his recent Divorce.

I read a story a while back about Hulk being on TNA Creative, so maybe he won't even Wrestle. I doubt that, but just a Note.

Even if Hogan is signed as a member of creative, he'll get tired of not being in the spotlight and will book himself in a high end feud sooner or later. Hogan is a cancer to professional wrestling. Same with Flair, Nash, etc. All these guys with enormous egos are only in it for the money and themselves.
The only brightside I could see out of this, is if Bischoff replaces Russo as head writer in TNA. Bischoff has a great mind, as long as he's focused.

I don't see him taking the TNA Title, he'll probably be used in the role he was used in 2005 in WWE. For example I can see Joe vs. Hogan at a PPV and I imagine they'll probably go Angle vs. Hogan again.
