This is it. The sink or swim moment for TNA. They either kill it, or cripple it in their time there or they spike it straight up to being equal to and sometimes beating Smackdown and really making Vince craphimself

Could this be the biggest wrestling news since Benoit? Misawa's death beats this. Only to people who knew who he was

In the short term nothing bad can come of it, there will definitely be a noticable rise in the ratings & some large media attention for TNA. It's the long term that will make or break a potential war, Hogan's not going to be around forever in TNA & even then the novelty of "hey it's Hogan" and the people tuning in to see Hogan only will progressively begin to fade over time, so it's up to TNA to keep those people tuning in for Hogan based on their product. ^ Agree and this is the biggest aspect of Hogan signing. TNA could really use Hogan feuding with younger TAN stars to help put them over and make some of the household names.

I just read that Hogan had a comment on Russo saying, 'as long as Russo knows his place, everything will be fine.'
This is just proof positive that wrestling is cyclical. It's 1994 again.

Hogan signing is huge for TNA, however I think the signing of Bischoff is even bigger. I don't know if Bischoff is going to be used on TV, as I don't read the spoiler boards, but whether he is used on TV, or he isn't, Bischoff is going to make a difference. Bischoff is an incredible booker, and creative mind, and he is going to make TNA very interesting. As far as I'm concerned, let Hogan wrestle, don't give him the strap, but give him a high profile fued, and have him put over a younger guy. He's done it in the past, I believe he'll do it again. Just my thoughts on this.

Great news, TNA will get tons of publicity, but at the same time, I think Hogan is better as a WWE personality/legend, he's always going to be noticed as a WWE legend.

Seriously, I would mark the out if on Hogan's debut iMPACT, Jeff Jarrett returns, interrupts him, smashes the guitar over his head turning heel, then kicks Kurt Angle out of the Main Event Mafia and takes control of it. And then Ric Flair joins as well.
