I really couldn't care less about what happened with Harrington in Golden State. As I've said many times, I was a huge Pacers fan when he was in town, and watched him totally bone the franchise both times he passed through. THAT'S what I'm basing my prediction on. But we'll see. I hope I'm wrong because I love the guy and I want to see him do well. Interesting stats through the first couple of weeks of the season... - Chris Paul is shooting over 60% from both the field and downtown
- Gerald Wallace is leading the NBA in rebounding (nearly 14/per)
- Roy Hibbert, supposedly a finesse center without a defensive presence, is second in the league in blocks (MY BOY DAMPIER is third)
- Chris Bosh is 6/6 from downtown so far this year
- Kevin Martin continues to suffer from sandy vaginitis
- Danny Granger is attempting over 10 threes per game, by far the most in the league (Knicker's boy Gallinari is second with 7.5 per)
- Teams currently trailing the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings: Cleveland, Toronto, Detroit, and Washington
- Boston is currently in first place in the East... and PHOENIX is in the West
I love the parity of early-season NBA....

I love the parity of early-season NBA.... If you couldn't care about what happened in GS then how can you act like you know the whole story about this guy? You're basing what you saw off of a guy who was like 24 years old and being told he couldn't play when he was capable of putting up 30 points any given night. In turn, as a veteran, a proven veteran, he's had no problem with the same situation. It just makes no sense. Also, I thought you were a TimberWolves fan before you were a Mavs fan?

I'm a fan of a handful of teams. Been a Mavs fan since I've started watching but I follow a few teams pretty closely for random reasons I can't even remember. Indiana is one of them.
And again, I hope Al surprises me this offseason but I'm expecting the same old thing with him. We'll see.

Seriously, how do we beat the Magic by 28, then lose to a depleted Kings Team by 3?

The old Steve Nash is back because the old Shaq is gone. You sir, you are a winner. Anyways; I guess I'll be watching the Cavs/Magic game tonight since I can't get the Celtics game. Oh well.

Boston sittin' pretty at 7-1 on top of the Atlantic Division. Granted by only a half game, and the season is still young, but that's a nice sign, a nice start to the season.

Boston is winning the championship... or the Spurs if they get hot late.

I knew that would eventually happen. I thought if the Blazers beat them tomorrow on their court then that would be the last straw, but it looks like they wanted to get it over with as quick as possible.

Byron Scott had a pretty good run; the Nets shouldn't have canned him, but had to at the time because of Kidd. It's not like he has a whole lot to work with right now.
76ers barely beat back a depleted, 8-active player rotation in the Nets last night. And, there was a horrible call with like 15 seconds left that went the 76ers way. This team is in such a bad state, it's sickening. We won't be good for four years, which is when Brand's contract runs out. He's untradeable, as is Dalembert. There's nobody on this team that looks like they can score 20 points in a game. Iguodala is making more than he should. Aside from Marreese Speights, this team is so frustrating.

THANK YOU. I hated him, it's about time they canned him.

Scott has a history of alienating star point guards, so that doesn't surprise me. I bet he ends up with the Lakers in some capacity in the near future.

Speaking of Harrington, that missed dunk last night was amazing.

Byron Scott shouldn't have said he thinks he could end up with the Lakers at some point earlier in the week. He's fired like a day later, irony.
Harrington had a great game last night.
And born to run... I hate to say I told you so but... Danny Granger has taken a step backwards so far... Carmello a step forward. Was it top 4 player you said or 5?

I have a feeling Avery Johnson can do a far better job than Byron Scott did.

Speaking of Harrington, that missed dunk last night was amazing. That was greatness. Somehow they managed to put that as the "Happy Trails" on PTI.

I am sick of these homos talking about James going to the Heat. Might as well start rumors of him going to the celtics on a one year minimum deal as well.
Not gonna happen. If it does happen, I will chop off my other penis.

Unfortunately, the James going or not going story is going to plague this entire NBA season. It's already annoying and we're just around ten games into the year. Sucks.

Celtics do have 21 million coming off the books next year.... and are still paying the big three and Rajon Rondo top player money... what are they going to do? Sign Ronny Turiaf? Cleveland is so terrible with no direction at all right now, I love it. I just talked to Emperor Palpatine on ichat and he assured me everything is going according to plan.
