I love the Denver Nuggets. I can't wait for the Nuggets vs. Bulls when J.R. Smith comes back.

I think it is a safe bet that the Cavs are wishing for a home away from home right now...

Tough no-call at the end of the game last night for the Cavs. Objectively speaking, a foul is a foul, but I can understand the refs feeling that was borderline enough that they didn't want free throws to decide the game.

Yeah, that was a very questionable end to the game. I mean, it looked like a foul to me but; oh well. I guess that is why I am not a ref for the NBA.

I didn't think LeBron got fouled last night. That was just good defense. Two guys between the basket and him, holding their arms straight up.

If you jump and the defenders are standing straight up in the air with arms up and you lean towards them during your shot, even in the least like just your arms even, it's one of those grey areas in the NBA that is enforced conditionally.
It's one of those calls that can go either way. A lot can factor into it, the position of the ref, the speed of the offensive player and how aggressive he's being. I think this one was because Noah and Deng were guarding him. They have long arms. If it was some guys struggling to defend him without fouling, they'd look less text book.

I love Steve Nash and think hes arguably one of the best PG's in the last decade, but the calls he is getting AT Boston tonight are a bit much.

Celtics fatal flaw so far....teams that run and gun. Their team is not upto that pace yet...they might eventually be but right now they were just run all over the floor by the Suns

So pretty much this is what happened at MSG tonight...
All the Yankees were there. LeBron went nuts in the 1st quarter. Lebron was chummy with the Yankees all night. Apparently he and CC Sabathia are BFF. Charles Oakley and Larry Johnson were there, gave LeBron the pound. Jay-Z was there, usual crap with LeBron. Justin Tuck and Antonio Pierce were there as well. All of NY turned out.
The support tonight is what NY is going to offer. The hype, the hoopla, the greatest Arena in the World.
LeBron seemed like he was playing a home game there and even waved to all the fans while leaving after the game and passed out all of his accessories he wore to fans. He was all smiles towards the Knicks fans and treated them like this was a home game.
After the game LeBron grabbed Danilo Galinari and talked to him for a bit, looked awfully curious.
Let's get serious people; next year he's either going to be in Cleveland or New York. Danilo (spot up shooter), David Lee (spot up shooter), Al Harrington (spot up shooter), Nate Robinson, Wilson Chandler and the ability to sign ANOTHER big name Free Agent along with LeBron > anything Cleveland can do but keep him in his current home.
PS: Walt Frazier wore a money green suit.

Yea I was at the Celts game tonight, it was in ridiculous the calls that they were giving Nash. Seems like everytime the whistle blew it was in favor for the Suns. The suns were crazy good from 3pt territory, they did not have any right losing a game where they scored 39 from 3's, and we did not have any right winning a game where we missed about 10 free throws. + for getting a Scal shirt jersey - for virtually no Gino.

Danilo (spot up shooter), David Lee (spot up shooter), Al Harrington (spot up shooter), Nate Robinson, Wilson Chandler and the ability to sign ANOTHER big name Free Agent along with LeBron. On paper a team like that would be better than this year's Cavs roster, but let's look a little closer: Gallinari is a great shooter. No argument there. Harrington isn't a spot up shooter at all. In this Knicks offense he gets a lot of great in-rhythm looks, but if he's not The Man he gets disgruntled and his play suffers. He's one of my favorite players but he and LeBron would not mesh well together. Also remember that he's a UFA this summer. David Lee isn't a spot up shooter as much as he's a garbage man. His game would be a perfect compliment to LeBron's if he could play defense. Also a UFA. Nate has the lowest basketball IQ this side of Drew Gooden, and is also a potential malcontent if he isn't a primary ballhandler. UFA as well. I love Chandler's game and wish he was a Mav. Nothing more need be said there. So while the roster today would look great with the addition of LeBron, it's likely going to have to get gutted just so they can afford him.

The Knicks won't have to gut the roster. It's already gutted. The plan is obvious, max out 2 FA's, and retain the guys I mentioned under the Larry Bird rule. It's why Lee and Robinson took one years to stay this season.
Al Harrington averages 20 points as a spot up shooter and hit for 42 off the bench last week as one. He played for a losing team in NY last season and has shown no signs of becoming disgruntled. In fact, they've put him in the leader role. Why would he become disgruntled on an improved version of his childhood favorite team? There's nothing logical about that except that your refering to his days in Golden State. They've had more players conplain than anybody the last 2 years. From Harrington to Baron Davis to Monta Ellis to Stephen Jackson currently.
Doesn't make much sense when Harrington played for the Knicks last year and was happy. He's shown absolutely 0 sign of being disgruntled.
As for you associating David Lee's play with garbage time. That might be the worst thing you've ever said to me. The guy lead the NBA in double doubles last year and plays the same whether it's against Dwight Howard or Brook Lopez... and yes, half if his shot attempts or more are planned as spot up jumpers.
I watch this team often. I see the sets.
I don't disagree with anything else you said.
But, they can easily, and I mean easy as pie if LeBron does sign, retain ever player they have along with LeBron and another FA.
Wilson Chandler's really going to accept that offer sheet from Memphis and run from the 2010 situation?
Just saying, since Donnie Walsh has shown up, everything has gone according to plan.
Right down to LeBron embracing the fans last night and shaking hands, smiling and waving.
He's either staying in Cleveland or he's coming here. Him, another FA and even just David Lee and Al Harrington is 2 times better than any team he's ever played on.

I also just read LeBron said he doesn't even need to sign a max contract if the significant talent will be there.
The day after playing in MSG...
Obviously nobody knows what will happen and he could very easily be in Cleveland.
But, I'm only guilty if buying into the hype and blatant flirting. If he doesn't come, he led us on!!!!
