James definitely has some maturing to do before he gets his ring. I think he will eventually, but he just seems to come in and out of the zone during games still. Phenomenal talent, just needs his head to catch up with his ability. I think he actually has the talent around him now to win, but one of the worst coaches in the NBA who lets those guys get lazy and sit around and watch LeBron play. Instead of getting in their faces and challenging them to play, he just seems to sulk about it. But those final two minutes were some of the worst coached I have seen in years.
Other random observations:
- I am tired of watching dudes play with their mouthpieces. It's gross. - Kevin Garnett sweats more post game than during the game. It's like he lets it build up then opens the hatches after the buzzer. - I don't know what the actual intelligence level of Big Baby Davis is, but he is one of the dumbest looking people I have ever seen. He's such a mouth breather. - I love Mark Jackson and Van Gundy on commentary.

LeBron looked about as scared as those back to back three's he cashed in the clutch in the 4th to get it back to within 4 after going down 14. And then the Cavs wanted to give up 2 offensive rebounds on one possession.
He looked like he was sick of it all.

I think it's hard to judge LeBron's maturity off of this situation but we will see next year. I only say this because he's had nothing but maximized success every single year he's played in the league for his team except under these circumstances. But honest to God, I know people are going to think and say what they want. I just blows my mind, after a 19 rebound triple double and the play of his team mates and coaching, that anybody really has room to act like if he had the Lakers, Celtics or Orlando's supporting cast that there would be maturing to do... about as much as Kobe, Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett need to do apparently.... with half the responsibility.

I guess what I failed to say is, James is an amazing talent and a great player. However, he is not a very good leader, yet.

Anderson Varrejao is the perfect example of how weak Mike Brown is. He got fouled most likely, I forget the play, and hes bleeding and hes CRYING to the officials...not hustling, not running, NOT EVEN ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE COURT...for a good two minutes. And Mike Brown KEEPS HIM IN THE GAME! Imagine if that was Riley, Karl, Jackson or even Doc Rivers? Varrejo would be on the bench and probably stabbed. What a disgrace. And the last minute the Cavs didnt hustle, foul or even run the ball up. Just a total " you" to the coach and to their own team.

I agree 100% when Varrejo did that, he just looked like the biggest baby, it's not like he went through what Steve Nash did. Cavs are so weak, I'd be shocked if LeBron stays. Last year his teammates decided to quit on him too in the playoffs.

I liked how Lebron was slapping hands on the way out, I kinda liked him for that. Even my dad said that was classy for him.
I love the class but it seemed like the entire series, after game 3 he KNEW he was screwed and did not have that fire that Garnett, Pierce, Howard, Kobe had...he was resigned to the outcome.

I was pleased to see him show some sportsmanship this time.

I was pleased to see him show some sportsmanship this time. Wasnt a dick in the presser afterwards either. He was honest, didnt throw anyone under the bus and was not a dick when they asked about free agency. Then again, he acted like he did on the court all series. Which isnt a good sign

wow, Lebron had 9 tos
they looked out of gas in that last quarter.. they were just playing street ball.. no plays.. just plain bad ball
I am really surprised and dumbfounded.. how can the best team in the league (2 years running) not make it to the big dance?

Obvious joke here is that they play in the NBA and the big dance is the NCAA tournament, but I digress. They dont make it because Lebrons cast, coach suck. They did not have any heart Lebron was hurt Lebron was probably too busy thinking about the offseason The Celtics and the Magic respectively were better teams

mostly I agree with you
I still don't think Lebrons supporting cast sucks.. they have had the best record the past two seasons.. not sure that qualifies as sucking
not sure about his elbow.. but there could be some legit injury issues
yes, I agree that the celtics and the magic are better
yes, he probably did have the offseason in his mind
yes, that last quater, the cavs showed no heart or discipline

There's something obviously psychologically wrong with that team and problem starts #1 with the coach and #2 with it's star player. Fun and games doesn't = winning.
If the Cavs lose James, since they wont be competing for anything in the forseeable future, I think I would force Mike Brown to continue to coach there as punishment for one of the worst efforts and blunders in Cleveland's sports history.
It's hard to give Boston a ton of credit because Brown didn't make any adjustments to win the series. The effort was awful. How does the "best" rebounding team and "best" defensive team along with having the leagues MVP get crushed and out worked? They looked spent all series, out of sorts, lackluster....defeated.
That was just pathetic by everyone involved

LeBron is mentally soft.
He whines to the refs
He didn't shoot 50% in the entire series
He damn near had a quadruple doulbe with turnovers
He showed no emotion or will power
He's a soft robot corporate b!tch

So the f*** what, what about when he dribbled the ball off his foot and threw two balls away in the 4th? Stop being such a nvtthugging nvtt sucking b!tch EPIC FVKING CHOKE JOB!! I'd contend that he'd already lost game 6 after game 5 was over.

Yeah you still need to give Boston credit, they won the series, not the other way around.
Such a joke that after the Celtics beat the best team in the NBA, the breaking news is all about Lebron and now people are saying "The Celtics didnt win, the Cavs lost the series"
Sounds like Yankees fans all of a sudden.
