OMG. Thats the best DH Smith custom I have EVER seen. Its better than what Jakks could've done and the skin tones are correct. Thanks for posting.

that is fantastic man. looks extremely clean and looks like an actual product. i cannot complain about this piece. decals is something i want to learn how to use, maybe the easy way to painting but it still makes things look a lot more crisp and clean if done properly. incredible debut man, i look forward to more of your work.

Its more of a fixup and not that much of a custom. All you did was swap parts. Minor paint and decals... Should go in the discussion thread. But no one cares about rules around here anymore. Not even CMD. heh. But im not saying the minimal work you did was not good. The painting is incredibly smooth and everything looks clean man dont get me wrong...

I think you did a great job, especially if this is your first run. The decal is a nice touch since you did it correctly, and the painting looks great. I would have never known that this would've been your first figure, but if you can do this type of work in the begining, then you are for sure going to be great with later pieces.. Its more of a fixup and not that much of a custom. All you did was swap parts. Minor paint and decals... Should go in the discussion thread. Technically, but this is a little more than a fix-up. Plus, this board is dead and we really needed some new work posted from someone that doesn't post all of the time. I see where you are getting at with it though.. |

That is awesome. Great job!
If I would offer any advice/constructive criticism, it would be that you could double up on the decals, which would not allow the black on the trunks to bleed through as much, and the white trim on them would really pop.

Stop being a suck up to the rules man. This is the best D.H. Smith custom that I have sen posted and all you can do is moan about rules? dude, you couldn't do work as good as this. (no offence) Also just noticed the short boots, nice touch. |
