i remember being a big fan of his when i was a kid watching wcw back in the day
what were your favorite matches of his
i loved his hardcore match with meng !
what ever happened to tony shivone the ring side commentator ?

Norman ruled, and is now a trainer at FCW.
Tony Schiavone is now the Braves AAA team radio announcer, and apparently quite happy doing it.

i'm a big fan of schiavone and smiley. wish Jakks would make a classic figure of both of them. hopefully they will in 2010+ with their new classic line

Smiley was my brother's favorite for a long time, so I'd always have to watch his matches. He was very entertaining, and he had a pretty great gimmick. He would just dress up like the mascot closest to the arena and get decent pops for that. I also enjoyed his hardcore title reign.
Tony Schiavone, I miss a lot. Not a perfect announcer or anything, but his voice takes me back to good times, so I enjoyed him.

Love Norman... great comedy charachter. loved it when he and ralphus was at some kids backyeard fed and they had a match.. normal pins the kid,.ralphus fast counts and they haul ass with the BY title lol
