Matthew Werner: Welcome to Loaded, where tonight we have seven exciting matches for you!
Matt Steel: Five.
Matthew Werner: Huh?
Matt Steel: Five matches.
Matthew Werner: But there's---
Matt Steel: No. It's five matches and it's always been five matches.
Matthew Werner: This is going to be the worst show we've ever done, right?
Matt Steel: Seems likely.
Mitchell Scott vs. Twisted
Having more experience in the ring, Scott was able to control Twisted rather well in the opening match. As time wore on, the tide in the match began to turn. Slipping out of a powerbomb attempt, Twisted caught Scott right in the face with a big boot. Although Scott was able to make a comeback and hit a DDT, Twisted kicked out and hit him with the Sick and Twisted for the pin.
Matthew Werner: Impressive debut by Twisted.
Matt Steel: You don't see that very often around here.
Matthew Werner: Why is that?
Matt Steel: They disappear.
Matthew Werner: Like most of our roster?
Thunder:
Matt Steel: What the hell was that?
Matthew Werner: Nothing. Let's move on.
High Horror vs. David Williams
Coming off a big win, it was no surprise that Williams was off to a great start here. And it was also not a surprise that given the history between these two, it turned into a brawl fairly fast. And it was at that point that things started to turn bad for Williams. An attempt at throwing Horror into the stairs was reversed, leading to Horror taking control and driving a knee at him while still in the same spot. From there, he hit the Hangman's Horror on the floor. At the point it was pretty much over and only took rolling him into the ring and making a cover to end it.
Matthew Werner: And now it's time for our second National Title Qualifier.
Matt Steel: The winner will join David Williams in the title match at Scars & Stripes.
Matthew Werner: I was going to say that.
Matt Steel: But I needed to say it.
Matthew Werner: Why?
Matt Steel: So we could have "witty" banter back-and-forth that's actually very forced.
Matthew Werner: But that didn't sound witty at all.
Matt Steel: What about now?
Matthew Werner: No.
Matt Steel: Now?
Matthew Werner: No.
Matt Steel: Now?
Matthew Werner: No.
Matt Steel: Now?
Matthew Werner: SHUT UP.
National Title Qualifier
Jon O'Deeves vs. Christian Shields vs. Damon Stone
In typical triple threat match fashion, one of the participants frequently found themselves out on the floor while the other two battled. The closest call early on occurred when Stone hit Shields with a diving headbutt, only to have the cover broken up by O'Deeves. A few moments later Shields was backdropped out onto the floor, leaving O'Deeves and Stone to battle it out. O'Deeves then got the pin after a tiger bomb for the biggest win of his career.
Matt Steel: That's the biggest win of his career.
I just said that.
Matt Steel: What the hell was that?
Matthew Werner: Nothing. Let's move on.
Calvin Lee vs. Aaron Ashton
Aaron Ashton entered first, but when Calvin Lee's name was called he didn't show up. Several unsuccessful introductions later and Aaron Ashton was awarded the match by forfeit due to Calvin Lee not even showing up for the match.
Wayne and Vanessa McGurk vs. Yukio Blaze and Davey Sanchez
Although it was only their second match together in recent memory, Blaze and Sanchez worked well together as a team, and the same could obviously be said for the husband and wife duo. Double teaming was frequent, the most devastating of which was a spike piledriver on Wayne that nearly ended the match. Not too long after the four participants were in the ring once again, leading to Wayne and Sanchez brawling on the floor while Blaze got the win with the Trail Blazer.
Matthew Werner: Well, I guess that's it.
Matt Steel: Yup.
Matthew Werner: Great show.
Matt Steel: It sucked.
Matthew Werner: Sarcasm.
Matt Steel: Oh, I get it.
Matthew Werner: You don't.
Matt Steel: Nope.
Matthew Werner: Bye.
