Every one of us has gone through it. We can't wait to see a match that's been announced for a Raw, SD! or a PPV. It looks great on the card and when you watch the match and it's over - you wonder, "wtf did I just watch?" Mine would have to be Triple H vs. Kurt Angle from Unforgiven 2000. I was so excited that they were going to face each other after all the antics Angle has done and after the match...man was I disappointed. Are there any matches that didn't live up to your expectation after all the hype and expectation going towards it? *Please, lets not write about the HHH/Steiner Royal Rumble trainwreck. We all know how that turned out and its been discussed to death. Let's get some fresh ones in here.  |

Mine would have to be Triple H vs. Kurt Angle from Unforgiven 2000. I agree. not so much the actual match but how the storyline abruptly ended. I wanted the storyline to end with Stephanie caught cheating with Kurt and HHH gaining his revenge. |

As amazing as both men were, and considering how great their matches usually are... I was thoroughly bored. Maybe it's just me..

The first time Matt Hardy faced Jeff Hardy... I think Matt was pissed at Jeff & Lita... The match was pretty dull... Vengence 2001. One of my favorite PPVs ever but that was such a terrible match. Jeff costed He and Matt the unified straps at the winner take all survivor series the month before. The next moth consisted of a great storyline about Jeff making selfish risks instead of finishing off his opponents when he has them beat. Matt thought Lita took Jeff's side and someone made her special ref for their match. It had a wierd ending where Matt got his foot on the ropes and Lita didn't see it and counted the three. Why was it weird? Because Matt got pissed at Lita and that was it. A couple of months later Team Extreme migically reunites at the Royal Rumble and it's like nothing ever happened. |

That's how that match came off to me. Worst of the night. |

i agree with all the matches said so far, but i would also add Orton/Batista Cage match from extreme rules (i think) that lasted 7 minutes whatever it was, would've thought that would've gone on for a little longer.
