painting looks fine, but the heads on macho and sting are pretty bad.
i have seen so many people use the same head for sting, and i absolutley hate that head.

The only one I like really is the Owen. The Sting head doesnt look right and the scorpion is entirely too small. The Savage is more just part swaps then anything else. There might be some mod work done to the head but probably not much. Owen is also a parts swap but it looks better then the rest

I'm going to have to say I don't really like them. It is one thing to use decals and genuinely seem to have an interest in customizing displaying skills that you do have the talent to paint and sculpt but choose to use decals sometimes just to make the figure look more professional.... AND THEN there is someone who comes along who seems to make figures just for the sake of making a quick buck on ebay. Not giving a damn if the attire is accurate or not. Not really paying attention to the parts they choose for the figure. These kind of customizers make me mad. Sting- The attire is wrong. The reference picture you showed has two scorpions. The decal you used should be from when he first arrived in WCW as "The Crow Sting" and it should be a lot bigger going down to his left thigh. He didn't have wrist tape so the white around his wrist shouldn't be there...The gloves are far too big and bulky. The head choice is probably one of my least favorites for Sting. Macho Man- The head choice is actually pretty good. The hair isn't all that great...and the kneepads should be closer to the color on his trunks..not the same color but closer than how you have it. Owen Hart- Looks like every other Owen Hart I have seen for the last 3 years. Everything is pretty good as far as how it is applied...

Didnt Sting wear short kickers? Sting has never wore kickers and its always bugged me when I see people use short or tall kickers for sting. Yes sting did have "slip on" boots but they werent kickers and they werent knee high like the CM Punk lower legs. I still say the best boot for sting is the Batista/Warlord mold. Stings boots even had a strap and buckle on them

^^^ exactly. I mean...the Kane boot mold would work to an extent but even that would be too high..I don't know what the Batista boot mold looks like (it might be the same or lower than the Kane boot mold) but the best way to go is to sculpt the boot mold. I know sculpting is a forsaken word around here nowadays but Sting is the only one who wears his type of boots... the best thing to go off of is the old WCW toybiz sting. I was starting a sting about 5 years ago...never finished it though.. the boots are far too thick but I at least made the accurate number of straps and height...

Stings boots even had a strap and buckle on them First off "Tall Kickers" are not kickpads at all. It's only this board that has made them so. They were originally made for Chris Masters who wears flap boots. The biggest difference between those and Stings boots are the buckles. I still remember the toyfair interview between Tim Ash and Jeremy wear Tim asked if other wrestlers like RVD would start to get the tall kickpad mold and Jeremy had no idea what he was talking about he didn't think they had a tall kickpad mold, which they didn't. They just started using the Masters boots as kickpads. I get that that they look enough like kickpads that not even I care about the liberty taken. They are very much the right boot to use for Sting out of all Jakks parts. Are they perfect? No. Too tall? Yes. They are just the best out of the bunch for my money. That being said, the customs here are not great. The head choices on Sting and Savage are not good. Owen is OK, everyone uses it, I personally think the RA head is the Kenny head that really looks like him, it just needs modification. The decals used are not very accurate either.

Putting a pseudo Macho Man head on a Hogan body does not a custom make...
Sting looks good though.
