WWE SmackDown: Thursday 30th September 2010...Good promo to kick off the show with Alberto Del Rio in the ring to brag about his success before Christian interrupted; it really seems as though this show reflects real life without the Rob Van Dam involvement. Really am not fond of this feud with Christian and Del Rio though, I'll hold off on it for now. MVP and Evan Bourne had a decent match, though it seems as though MVP's heel turn is sudden; must have missed when he turned heel. Bourne with the win was interesting but I am finding it hard believing Bourne as a potential World Heavyweight Champion, wonder when he will cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase. Kofi Kingston overthrowing Bryan Danielson is intriguing, but hoping we don't see a rematch between these two at Hell in a Cell though it seems likely now. Triple H squashing David Hart Smith wouldn't surprise me; glad to see DH Smith with offense though. Though it is extremely obvious that we will see Triple H and Kurt Angle retain the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships at Hell in a Cell against the Hart Dynasty. This feud is so predictable, but I am hoping there's soem twist in it. The Straight Edge Society's promo was pretty nice, Kane and Punk's feud is pretty interesting to say the least, but I'm not too sure about what's really going on. Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Jack Swagger sounds like the most egotistical team ever. I like that. They make Primo, Carlito and Justin Gabriel look like jobbers. Ziggler, McIntyre and Swagger is like WCW World Six-Man Tag Team Championship worthy, haha. April Lee beating Maryse is fine; a good match here. In the main event for matches, not fond of Alberto Del Rio beating Rob Van Dam; RVD has seemingly lost a lot since losing ECW, losing the ECW Championship and feuding with Sheamus. He needs more momentum, this storyline makes Sheamus but drags down RVD. Just like Christian with Del Rio. The main focus is on Randy Orton and Edge however, and a decent close to the show. A good show, and Hell in a Cell looks good, but some of your storylines and feuds show to the eye extremely predictable and in some cases, biased to drag down several talent.

A video package plays highlighting Edge and Randy Orton's feud going on since after Summerslam, Kurt Angle and Triple H winning the Unified Tag Team Titles and The Hart Dynasty battling for vengeance over the past two weeks, Cody Rhodes invading Shawn Michaels' home and the constant beat downs from Legacy, and lastly Batista and John Cena's heating rivalry ever since Batista's uncalled for attack at Summerslam and winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Night Of Champions. Heading into the arena, "Another Way To Die" by Disturbed plays as we head to ringside where Jim Ross, Michael Cole, and Jerry Lawler welcome everybody to the show. They hype up the main matches, two being inside Hell In A Cell. John Morrison vs Chris Jericho As the bell rings, the two circle around the ring and lock up in the middle. Morrison backs Jericho to the corner, who holds his hands up to get the break of space between them. They walk around the ring again and Jericho comes rushing for a clothesline, only for it to be ducked. Morrison hits some shots from behind and dropkicks Y2J into the corner. He pops up and jumps onto the second turnbuckle, sending down nine punches in a row before hitting a hurricanrana that launches Jericho across the ring. They both get up and come at each other again, Morrison hitting a kick to the gut. He then goes ahead and hits a suplex, going for a pin right after, only to get a two count. Morrison pulls him up, and Jericho rakes the eyes. He sends some hard shots and tosses him into the steel post. Morrison falls to the outside and Jericho follows, stomping down on the hand as Morrison grabs at the steel steps. He yanks Morrison up and talks some trash and throws him face first into the announce table. He re-enters the ring at a count of seven, Morrison managing to get in right before ten. Jericho immediately stomps down on him once in the ring, and drags him up by the hair. He goes for an Irish whip but it is reversed. He stops himself at the corner though thinking he has outsmarted Morrison, and sends a kick back to nothing. He turns around and is met by a running dropkick. Morrison pulls him up and hits a few shots before dropping him with a DDT. Looking at an advantage, he measures up on Jericho and hits the Starship Pain! The pin is counted but Jericho manages to place one foot on the bottom rope at two. Morrison is in disbelief and slowly pulls Jericho back up, hitting some shots and then whipping him to the ropes - awaiting a comeback. Jericho, however, stays at the ropes and as Morrison lifts his head up is met with the Codebreaker! Jericho quickly scrambles for the pin, absolutely confident in victory, but Morrison manages to kick out at what seems like 2.9. Jericho hooks the legs again, a shorter kick out this time. He goes for it again, only a one count. Frustrated, he drags Morrison to the middle of the ring and goes for the Lionsault. However, Morrison manages to pull both feet up and Jericho is forced to stand up and fall right out to the apron. As he gets up, Morrison springboards from the ropes to the left and dropkicks Jericho into the barricade. Jericho, once again frustrated, gets back in the ring. He is holding his head though, so the referee holds him back from going after Morrison. As this is going on, he proves he is playing possum by running at Morrison for a dropkick well he looks away, but it is avoided and one leg gets caught in the corner! Morrison sees an opportunity and hops to the top rope and comes down with a leg drop. As Jericho flops to the mat, Morrison once again sees an opening and delivers the Starship Pain - this time getting the three count. Winner of the match: John Morrison (10:22) ***1/4 Morrison begins to celebrate the victory as Jericho slowly stirs into a sitting position in the corner. He looks lost as Morrison gets out of the ring and makes his way up the ramp. Jericho rises to his feet and looks around the arena before kicking the ropes rapidly and getting out of the ring. He kicks the steel steps and flips over steel chairs near the time keeper and storms off up the ramp and to the back without giving any answers to why he has snapped. A promo video plays hyping up Bragging Rights in 3 weeks time on October 24. Rob Van Dam vs Sheamus The bell sounds and the two walk to the middle of the ring. Trading some words, RVD sends the first punch. Sheamus comes right back with one of his own and they begin a punch for punch battle. RVD mixes it up after a short while with a sharp kick to the ribs. He hits some more and ends up hitting a spinning wheel kick to send the Celtic Warrior to the outside. RVD follows and gets hit with a hard elbow to the jaw. Sheamus then tosses him over the Spanish announce table and breaks the count by rolling in and out of the ring. He walks over to RVD and drags him by the straps to the ring, tossing him in like a rag doll. He gets on the apron, but RVD is already up, and he takes the legs out. Sheamus falls face first into the apron and is furious as he checks himself for blood. He then is met with a baseball slide and he falls into the announce table. RVD gets out and hits some more strikes, throwing Sheamus face first into the steel steps and then rolling him in the ring. He follows and hits a few more shots up until he is tossed in the corner and hit with a hard clothesline. RVD is dragged up and met with a pull-in clothesline. Sheamus waits for him, and once up, ducks a shot and hooks both arms. He lifts RVD up and hits the Celtic Cross. He hooks both legs quickly, but only gets a two count. Frustrated, he drags RVD up once again and throws him in the corner - delivering shoulders to the gut repeatedly. He whips RVD to the other corner and comes running for a clothesline, but RVD avoids it and hits a hard kick to the legs and then the back. Ducking a sent back elbow, RVD sweeps out the legs and delivers the rolling thunder! Sheamus rolls to the middle of the ring holding his mid section as RVD makes his way to the top rope carefully. He measures up and goes for the Five Star Frog Splash - Sheamus managing to roll out of the way and pop to his feet with a grin. RVD slowly stirs to his feet and turns to the Brogue Kick, but he ducks under it! He manages to stumble across the ring and stay in the corner. Sheamus comes running for a clothesline, but RVD manages to send his boot up and force him back. He pulls himself onto the middle turnbuckle and launches off with a shuffle kick to the chest. He looks around the arena and goes off the ropes, and delivers the rolling thunder! He then makes his way to the corner slowly, climbing up to the top turnbuckle. He sets up for the Five Star Frog Splash, and he delivers it! He slowly hooks both legs and gets the pin. Winner of the match: Rob Van Dam (8:48) *** The crowd bursts into cheers as RVD slowly gets to his feet, taunting his victory by pumping his fists into the air. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and does the signature "Rob! Van! Dam!" thumbs and shout from the crowd before exiting the ring where Sheamus stirs up holding his stomach, not happy at all. He points up the ramp to RVD and says that this isn't over, but RVD just ignores it as he has managed to win this battle in what seems to be a not finished war. We cut to the back as Ted DiBiase is shown as the crowd cheer. Todd Grisham comes into frame and he thanks Ted for his time and asks about facing The Miz here tonight. Ted laughs a little and says that when Miz got himself disqualified the other week he was fine at first, but then he decided to talk some trash and continue on being a little punk. He talks about this past Monday where he thought he could get a little upper hand by cheap shotting him and hitting the Skull Crushing Finale. He says that when it comes to tonight - The Miz will be shown as the coward he truly is or the loser he truly is. The Miz vs Ted DiBiase The bell rings and DiBiase offers a test of strength. Miz just laughs at him and kicks him in the gut. DiBiase fires back with a shot though, hitting a few more afterward. He goes for a clothesline, but Miz anticipates it, and manages to duck under it and throw DiBiase out of the ring. As DiBiase gets to his hands and knees, Miz yells at him to stay down. After he is up, Miz gets out of the ring and strikes at the back and the head. He throws DiBiase into the steel steps and back into the ring, following after. He goes for the pin, but DiBiase easily kicks out at two. Miz is aggravated and demands the referee count faster, and they get into a little argument. DiBiase stands up behind him and delivers Dream Street! He hooks both legs, but Miz just barely manages to kick out. He then rolls out of the ring to avoid another pin attempt. DiBiase stays on his knees, unsatisfied with Miz's decision, and he follows him to the outside. However, Miz appears to have been awaiting him and delivers an elbow to the jaw. He fires off with some more shots before raking the eyes and throwing him into the barricade. Miz then rolls back into the ring, taunting to the crowd as he gets to his feet with a grin. As the referee reaches a count of 8, DiBiase gets back in the ring. Miz, however, immediately begins to stomp on him until being pulled away. DiBiase gets up in the corner, and Miz hits his signature clothesline. Once he pulls out of the ropes, he stalks DiBiase, and then goes for the Skull Crushing Finale. DiBiase, however, manages to struggle free and send elbows back. He turns around and dropkicks Miz into the corner. He gets back up and avoids a shot, hitting a back suplex. He goes for the pin, only to get a two count. Dragging Miz up, DiBiase hits a scoop slam and climbs to the top rope and delivers a fist drop. Miz gets back up and holds onto the ropes, so the referee pulls DiBiase away. Miz sees an opening and pushes the ref away, kicking DiBiase in the groin. He then quickly hits the Skull Crushing Finale in the center of the ring. He quickly hooks both legs and tells the referee, who is still questioning about the shove, to count - and he does for the three. Winner of the match: The Miz (9:03) *** Miz rises to his feet, taunting to the crowd. He refuses the referee raising his arm, and he demands a microphone. Once he gets it, he walks around the ring saying that this is pathetic. It is pathetic that he has to face scum like Ted DiBiase rather then get his World Heavyweight Championship back. He says he doesn't even deserve to have to earn the opportunity, he should of had that title handed back to him because he's The Miz and he's awesome. Cutting to a video package, highlights of Alberto Del Rio's promo videos for his debut on Smackdown are shown. It cuts to Christian being interrupted by Ricardo Rodriguez, and then Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio managing to get the victory on Christian in the main event of the Smackdown he debuted on, and injuring his arm in the process. Finally, the package shows Christian fending off Del Rio on the most recent Smackdown, and Del Rio promising to win the gold. Alberto Del Rio vs Christian© The bell rings as Christian tends to his hurt arm, which Del Rio tries to grab at. Christian kicks him in the gut and throws down shots with his elbow. Del Rio shoves him away quickly though, and hits a hard sidewalk slam. He gets a near fall off it, and moves right into working on the arm as he stomps down on it. He pulls at the arm and sets it on the bottom rope, delivering a knee drop on it. He then places it on the second, dropping yet another knee on it. He then sits Christian up and places the arm on the top rope. Del Rio makes his way up the turnbuckles and jumps off, but misses the knee as Christian pulls away and rolls to the middle of the ring. Del Rio seems to hurt his knee in some way, so once both men are up, Christian hits a low dropkick that drops Del Rio down. With his good arm, he applies a single leg Boston crab. Del Rio struggles a bit, and manages to pull himself to the ropes after only a short time in the hold. He hugs the ropes tight and Christian drags him right off and tries to apply the hold again, only to be pushed off into the corner face first. Del Rio gets up and walks over to Christian, taking him by the neck and tights. He spins him around before throwing him shoulder first into the steel post, causing the WWE Champion to fall to the outside clutching his arm. Del Rio follows him out and takes the arm, dragging Christian up and throwing it over the barricade. Holding his arm, the WWE Champion begins to walk off. Del Rio rushes behind him and clotheslines him to the floor. He rolls in and out of the ring, and continues to stomp down on the arm. Once Christian gets up against the barricade, Del Rio sends a boot with his better leg, only for Christian to move away and clip the bad one. They both slowly stir, reaching the ring at a seven count. Once up, they begin to trade shots and Christian starts to get the upper hand. However, Christian makes the mistake of using his bad arm and Del Rio manages to catch it at one point and kicks the gut. He then jumps up and pulls down into the cross armbar. Christian begins to flail around, but manages to go through the pain a bit. Some of the fans are begging for him to just give up, but Christian doesn't and manages to scurry his legs around the bottom rope. Del Rio refuses to let go, but does at four and is not happy at all about the submission being stopped. He drags Christian to the middle of the ring, and leans down to apply the armbar again, but Christian pulls his legs up and drags him into an inside cradle! But what seems like 2.9, Del Rio kicks out in disbelief. Both rise up, and Del Rio goes for a clothesline, only to have Christian duck it and hook both arms. Wincing in pain, he turns it over and hits the Killswitch! Well still tending to his arm, Christian rolls Del Rio over and hooks the leg for the three. Winner and still WWE Champion: Christian (12:55) ***1/4 Christian struggles to his feet, still clutching his arm, and is awarded the WWE Championship. He raises it to the cheering crowd, and makes his way out of the ring and up the ramp. He raises the title one more time at the top of the ramp and gets approval from the WWE universe. We cut to a video package highlighting the events since the Smackdown after Summerslam of Edge and Randy Orton. The offered alliance of Rated RKO, and Edge ultimately turning on Randy. The weeks leading up to Night Of Champions and then the brawl happening after the scramble match between the two. Randy's recent mind games are shown, eventually leading to Edge accepting to face him in Hell In A Cell, and the 'preview' on Smackdown ends it. Edge vs Randy Orton The bell rings as both men look around the cell. Orton steps out to the apron and begins to run his hand across it with a grin. Edge runs at him and delivers a forearm that sends Orton into the steel. He steps out and begins to deliver shot after shot to Orton, throwing him into the steel post. He then grabs him by the tights and neck, running with him and throwing him head first into the steel steps. He drags Orton up and tosses him into the ring, following and hooking both legs, only to get a two count. Angry, Edge forces Orton up and tosses him into the corner. He goes up for the ten punches, and reigns down ferociously with them. However, after he hits the ninth one, Orton pushes him off and delivers a devastating clothesline. Rising up, Orton stomps down on Edge and hits a few strikes as he gets to his feet. Edge shoves him away but misses a clothesline, and Orton dropkicks him to the outside. Following, 'The Viper' hits a couple more shots before throwing Edge's face into the steel. He does it again before having his own face thrown into it. Edge manages to block the next attempt, and elbows Orton in the gut and shoves him into the ring and then into the steel structure. He gets back into the ring to catch his breath, and Orton stays on the outside. Slowly, Edge gets out of the ring and makes his way towards the door. He apparently has had enough as he demands the door to be opened. The referees on the outside don't at first, but Edge begins to threaten them. They begin to rush to undo it now, but as they finish, Orton comes running up behind Edge and clotheslines him to the floor. He drags Edge up and throws him into the door, which pushes it open. Orton looks on the outside as the crowd cheer and he walks out. He begins to pull Edge up by the hair, but gets low blowed. The 'Rated R Superstar' gets up and takes Orton by the back of the neck again and tosses him into the steel. Orton then slowly begins to make his way back into the cell, and Edge follows, throwing him into the ring. He then looks under the ring and grabs a steel chair. He looks at it with a sickening grin, and gets into the ring. He taps it and awaits Orton's rise, cracking him right in the face as soon as he does. He slowly puts the chair in a sitting position, savoring the moment. He drags Orton to his feet and pulls him to his side, only to be shoved away. Edge falls through the ropes, but stays on the apron. He begins to get up, but gets his head hooked onto by Orton, and he drags him in the ring with his feet hanging and drops him with the rope hung DDT on the steel chair! The crowd cheer as Orton begins to 'coil'. He slams his fists into the mat in rhythm, and once Edge rises, he jumps up for the RKO - only to be shoved away. As he turns around he is met with a huge spear! The crowd expresses their disapproval as Edge hooks both legs, only to get a long two count! He pulls at his hair in disbelief and scrambles over to the steel chair, dazed a bit still. He folds it up and walks over to Orton, who begins to get on his hands and knees, and jams it over his back vertically. Edge does this at least six more times before tossing the chair away. The referee tells him to back off and checks down on Orton. As time goes by, Edge loses his patience. He rushes over to the referee and pushes him away, dragging Orton up and throwing him up against the ropes. He backs up to the opposing side of the ring, and Orton begins to wobble away from the ropes. Edge then delivers a huge spear before hooking both legs for the three count. Winner of the match: Edge (16:41) **** Edge slowly gets to his feet, a disgusting grin across his face. The referee raises his arm in victory before going back down to check on Orton. A few medics come down to the ring as the cell rises. Edge stares down at his fallen rival with his eyes glazed over, not caring one bit about the pain and suffering he has caused. He slowly exits the ring as we get another image of Orton wincing in pain well the medics try to calm him down so they can help out. Cutting backstage, Todd Grisham introduces his guest at this time to be The Legacy. Cody, Brett, and Joe come into frame. He asks Cody about facing a legend like Shawn Michaels here tonight. Cody laughs and says that just like his former mentor, Randy Orton, who he sarcastically wishes luck in his recovery - he is a legend killer. He says that he is going to be making his own Legacy by defeating people like Shawn Michaels. He says that he doesn't even need any help tonight and turns to Brett and Joe. He asks for no help whatsoever when it comes to facing Shawn Michaels because he doesn't need it. They agree not to get involved and Rhodes tells them when he is out there, though, they should be taking very detailed notes. Shawn Michaels vs Cody Rhodes The bell rings and the duo lock up. Rhodes shoves HBK away and backs off. They circle around and lock up once more, HBK shoving Rhodes away now and backing off. The crowd begin an "H-B-K" chant, and Rhodes goes running at him only to be thrown over the top rope. Frustrated, Rhodes begins to slap his hands against the apron and walks around the ring before going back in at a count of eight. He rises and is met with strikes from Michaels, but he sends some back. Michaels gets the upper hand after a little scuffle though, and hits a suplex and follows it up with an atomic drop. He misses his flying forearm though, and stumbles into the ropes. He turns to Rhodes' strikes and a dropkick that knocks him to the corner. Rhodes then comes rushing with a knee to the gut, which causes HBK to stumble out of the corner. Rhodes then makes his way to the top rope and goes for his moonsault, only for HBK to catch him on his shoulder and drop him face first into the top turnbuckle. Rhodes, stunned, is met with the flying forearm. Once up, Michaels drops him with the scoop slam and makes his way over to the corner. He climbs to the top and measures up, hitting his signature elbow. After being down a little, he kips up and flails his arms around wildly. He stands up in the corner and begins to 'tune up the band'. Rhodes stirs during it, and once he turns to Michaels, he is met with the Sweet Chin Music! Michaels flops on top of him and hooks the leg, but to his surprise and everybody else's, Rhodes manages to kick out. Michaels pulls him up slowly and begins to fire off with shots again, only for one to be ducked and Rhodes hits a Russian leg sweep. He goes for the pin there, but HBK kicks out. Rhodes then gets up and hits off the ropes, returning with a huge knee drop. Michaels gets back up and Rhodes goes for the Cross Rhodes, but gets pushed away. Michaels then goes for the Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere, but Rhodes ducks it and clubs him across the back. He then delivers Cross Rhodes and hooks both legs fast, only getting a two count. Frustrated, Rhodes rises to his feet and begins to argue with the referee. As he is arguing, Michaels climbs to the top turnbuckle. As he begins to back up closer to the corner, he turns around to the moonsault, but rolls through on the landing and sits on Michaels' legs, grabbing hold of the ropes without the referee seeing, and he manages to get the three count. Winner of the match: Cody Rhodes (9:38) ***1/2 Rhodes hops out of the ring and quickly makes his way up the ramp, taunting to Michaels over his cheap victory. As HBK looks up the ramp in anger, the Legacy come rushing into the ring from behind and begin to attack him. As they stomp him down, a couple of referees come down to the ring to get them away. Once done, they exit the ring and meet with Rhodes up the ramp, where they all raise each other's hands in celebration of themselves. A video plays to hype up WrestleMania 27, using "Kiss Your Past Goodbye" by Aerosmith as the song. After the video is done playing, on commentary Jerry Lawler suggests WrestleMania 27 to be one of the greatest WrestleMania's ever, he can already feel it 6 months ahead of time. Triple H and Kurt Angle© w/Vince McMahon vs The Hart Dynasty w/Bret Hart and Natalya The bell sounds as Triple H kicks things off with Kidd. They approach each other and Kidd fires off the first shot, throwing a few more after. He tries to go for a bulldog but is pushed off to the ropes and hit with a knee to the face on the comeback. He goes for the knee drop, but Kidd manages to roll out of the way. He pops to his feet and hits a dropkick to the face as Hunter sits up, and he rolls to his corner to make the tag to Smith. He comes in and hits a few shots on Hunter, and whips him to the ropes. He awaits for the back body drop, but gets dropped onto the knee. A tag to Angle is made, and he comes in to perform a double suplex. He keeps Smith on the mat and has his arms around the stomach, and Smith strengthens himself to his feet. He tries to pull free but is pulled back with a German suplex. Angle goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. He drags Smith up and pulls him back to his corner and makes a tag to HHH, who gets in and hits a few shots before sending him to the ropes again, but failing to hit the knee on the return as Smith ducks under it. HHH turns and is lifted up for the powerslam, but he slides off and pushes Smith away - who then tags in Kidd. He springboards to Hunter with a dropkick, and sends him into the ropes and out of the ring. He is frustrated out there from the embarrassment, and Angle comes running into the ring. He takes Kidd down and begin to rain down with strikes. The referee begins to pull him off, and Smith gets in the ring to take care of it himself. As Kidd gets back up, Hunter is getting in the ring with a sledgehammer! He walks up behind Kidd, and with the referee warning him, he strikes him in the back with it. Winners via disqualification: The Hart Dynasty (7:20) *** After the bell has rung, Smith comes rushing at Hunter only to be hit in the gut with the sledgehammer, and then across the back. Hart gets on the apron and begins to yell at the referee to stop them. Vince comes running up behind him and trips him off the apron. They stare at each other, and Bret sends a punch right to the face! Vince is rocked to the floor as HHH and Angle quickly get out of the ring. They check on Vince and help him to his feet and up the ramp. We cut to a video package showing John Cena and Shawn Michaels shaking hands and hugging at Summerslam. Cena is then shown walking backstage, only to be attacked by Batista. It cuts to the weeks before Night Of Champions, and then at the event Batista winning the World Heavyweight Championship. The past two weeks of events between these two rivals is shown, and it heads into Hell In A Cell tonight with the World Title on the line. Batista© vs John Cena Once the cell finishes descending around the ring and the door is locked, the bell rings. They stare each other down and Batista raises his fists in the air in taunt. Cena isn't impressed and taunts right back at him with his "ok". The crowd cheer for it and Batista comes running at him, and they begin to fire off shots to each other. Cena gets the upper hand and Batista backs down, getting out of the ring the moment he sees the opportunity to. Cena goes right after him and follows him around the ring, tossing him face first into the steel wall. Batista continues to walk around, and Cena just keeps on following. However, 'The Animal' catches him at one point and throws him back first into the steel and then tosses him into the ring. He follows and clubs down on the back before grabbing Cena by the throat and throwing him into the corner. He sends a few shoulder thrusts into the gut and then whips him to the other corner where he hits a huge clothesline. He continues his shoulders to the gut there and then lets Cena drop to the mat. He forces him up and tosses him head first through the ropes and into the steel. Cena falls to the floor and Batista goes after him with a grin. He drags him up and lifts him in a spinebuster position and runs right into the wall, causing Cena to yelp out in pain. He holds onto him and does it again, and a third time as well before letting him drop to the floor. He forces Cena up again and tosses him into the ring and picks up the top part of steel steps, pushing it under the bottom rope. He gets into the ring and goes up to Cena, lifting him for the spinebuster again, but Cena manages to free himself from the grip and fire shots to Batista. He eventually sends him against the ropes, and he whips him to the other side and delivers a huge back body drop onto the steel steps! He quickly goes for the pinfall, but Batista manages to push him off at two. Cena comes right back though, firing off shot after shot to the head. Batista gets out of the ring and holds onto his back, Cena right behind him. He hits a few more shots before being pushed away. Batista then sends his shoulder into the door repeatedly, eventually managing to send it wide open. He steps out and starts to go up the ramp. However, Cena comes running full speed behind him and strikes across the back of the head. He takes hold of the neck and runs down to the ring, throwing Batista right into the cell. He does it again, and Batista begins to walk around the cell. Cena keeps on him though, and strikes all the way to the opposing side of the cell. Batista finally fires back with a knee to the gut and tosses Cena into the cell wall now. He takes the announce table's covering and pulls it right off, pushing it into Cena and into the cell. He tosses it aside and begins to remove the television monitors, but keeps one in his hand. As Cena turns to him, Batista clocks him right in the forehead with it. He tosses the monitor away and begins to drag Cena up, pulling him up onto his shoulder and running to the cell, only to have Cena put his hands out and push off to the floor. Batista turns and Cena lifts him up onto his shoulders, hitting the Attitude Adjustment right through the announce table! The crowd go wild, but Cena realizes he needs to get Batista back into the ring. He slowly pulls him up and begins to walk with him around the cell, losing grip a couple of times on the way. Once to the door, Batista shoves him inside and right into the steel post. Cena slowly rolls into the ring as Batista struggles inside. He gets up at the same time as Cena, and they begin to trade blows. Cena ducks a clothesline and delivers the spinout suplex and he rises back to his feet. He motions "You Can't See Me" and hits the five knuckle shuffle. He pops back to his feet and gets out to the apron, and slowly ascends the turnbuckles. He awaits Batista to get up and goes for the leg drop, but 'The Animal' moves out of the way. Cena struggles to his feet with the use of the ropes, and turns around to a kick to the gut and the Batista Bomb in the middle of the ring. Both men are laid out for a moment before Batista rolls over and hooks the leg of Cena, everybody believing this one is over, but Cena manages to throw his arm up. Batista gets to his knees in shock, and gets back up. Cena rolls to the corner and begins to rise, so Batista kneels down a bit. As Cena turns to face him, he goes storming for a spear, only to have Cena avoid it and deliver the Attitude Adjustment once again on the spin around. He hooks both legs: one, two, kick out! Once again the air is sucked out of the arena as Cena places his face in his hands, possibly now in doubt of himself winning this match. He rises to his feet and looks to the steel steps, dragging them into the middle of the ring. He walks over to Batista and forces him up to his feet and talking to him, "Time to put down The Animal!" He lifts him for the Attitude Adjustment yet again, but Batista slips off and hits off the ropes, returning with a spear! He hooks both legs, but he pulls off himself at two out of cockiness. He drags Cena back to his feet and pulls him to his legs, lifting him for the Attitude Adjustment. Cena manages to rain down with punches though, and drops down to his feet. Batista does manage to push him away though, and then runs for the spear once again! Cena dips to the side and when Batista comes right back to him, Cena clips the legs and Batista's face hits the steel steps. Cena then takes one leg and applies the STF! Batista yells out and flails his arms, trying to find some way to get out. He manages to dig his hands over the steel steps and pull himself up over them. Cena still holds on though, and Batista reaches onto the ropes. No effect is done though, as there are no breaks in Hell in a Cell. Cena lets go anyway, though, and Batista is able to sigh relief. Cena pushes the steel steps out of the ring and then takes the leg again, though, and drags Batista back to the middle of the ring! Well his hands are going wild in a form of saying 'no', Cena locks in the STF once more! The crowd get behind Cena, chanting his name over and over again. Batista's face turns full on red, and he has no choice but to start tapping out. Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena (22:45) ****1/4 Cena rolls onto his back in shock of his victory as the cell begins to raise. Cena gets to his feet as the referee rewards him the World Title. Cena puts his hand up though, and calls for the cell to come back down. It stops in it's place and begins to descend once more. After it reaches the floor, Cena steps out of the ring and then out of the cell. He slings the World Title over his shoulder and begins to climb up the cell. Once on top, he steps into the middle of it and looks out to the cheering crowd. He raises the title and yells out in victory. Jim Ross thanks everybody for watching this spectacular event, as we get one final image of Cena smiling with the World Heavyweight Championship above his head as Hell In A Cell comes to an end.

WWE Hell in a Cell: Sunday 3rd October 2010...Good heated match to kick off the pay-per-view with John Morrison taking on Chris Jericho, and this match pretty much may have taken place at the real Hell in a Cell event. Decent bout, Morrison with the win definitely elevates him even more, I wonder where Chris Jericho goes from here. Rob Van Dam beating Sheamus was fine, as RVD has basically been owned in the entire buildup to this match between the two; Sheamus needs to be accomplishing higher things. Again, wonder what's next for Van Dam. The Miz and Ted Dibiase, the sequence is a little repetitive now with three one-on-one feuds following each other. I feel like a gimmick match would have been worth here, as this match too I feel the least interested in. Miz with the win is for the better, Dibiase in my head still isn't on that good a level. Christian beating Alberto Del Rio was justifiable, but this feud did very little for Christian. I do love how it built Del Rio, but Christian as WWE Champion looks pathetic after this, and this feud has been like a midcard feud. Good WWE Championship match, again I feel a more interesting match should have been put on in its place. Four straight singles match back to back on pay-per-view would bore me as a wrestling fan. In addition, I feel like Edge and Randy Orton would have been the wiser main event; great, brutal Hell in a Cell win for Edge against Orton. Cody Rhodes beating Shawn Michaels cheaply is good, I feel as though we'll see this feud advance on to Bragging Rights or to an elimination tag team match at Survivor Series. HBK will hopefully come out on top in this feud. The Hart Dynasty winning by disqualification is a lovely and creative finish to this WWE Unified Tag Team Championship match where it seemed extremely likely that Triple H and Kurt Angle would win. I like McMahon's team. Bret Hart's involvement is good, and it could potentially lead to - gasp -, some involvement with Bret in the ring worth mentioning. Lastly, solid yet obvious Hell in a Cell main event with John Cena winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Good show overall, but the ordering was off at times, I wonder of your direction with Bragging Rights still in the way before Survivor Series; you have a few Survivor Series tag team options already.

-Morrison winning is pretty solid for him. Wonder where Jericho goes from here. -RVD over Sheamus has good reasons either way here. RVD needed it after his recent slump. -Christian retaining was expected. Liked to see something new with a new contender there. -Edge winning was great either way. Edge seemed to need momentum inside HIAC though. -Hart Dynasty winning by DQ was the only way I seen them looking strong here. -So glad that John Cena finally got his chance! Wonder how long his reign will be... -Great PPV as usual; still, 48 pages and you've never disappointed. Keep it up.

-Morrison over Jericho was a good choice for an opener, and I liked that Morrison won since he has been in a bit of slump since dropping the World Title -Would rather have had Miz/Dibiase second, since RVD/Sheamus is a much bigger match. Regardless, RVD winning was better since Sheamus has owned him throughout the feud -I agree with DTP that too many singles matches in a row is rough, especially since none were specialty matches or for a belt. Anyway, Miz winning makes me happy -Christian/Del Rio screams mid-card, although I do love Christian. I think that he should've faced bigger names for his first few defenses -Edge & Orton have great chemistry and always seem to put on good matches so I'm cool with this. Love that Edge won -I want to marry you for putting Rhodes over Michaels. That's huge for his career and I hope it can help vault him to the top -Triple H & Angle winning via DQ makes them look even more vile & sadistic which is awesome -Predictable main event, I'm not a fan of either guy. Wish Batista got a longer reign but it'll be interesting to see what Cena does now as Champ
Very good show, the ordering was slightly off, but I enjoyed it throughout.

WWE Hell in a Cell, I'm happy to see John Morrison defeat Chris Jericho as he is a former World Champion, but I hope you have some bigger plans for Jericho in the future. I like that Jericho snapped afterwards, however. Rob Van Dam with the victory is alright, however, I hope Sheamus is pushed in some form soon, and I hope he defeats RVD in the near future. Glad that The Miz beat Ted DiBiase here. I am very happy that you had Christian retain the WWE Championship, as much as I don't like him as Champion, but Del Rio would have been too fresh for the gold. So happy to see Edge defeats Randy Orton, and I wouldn't mind seeing Edge go on to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship soon. A victory for Cody Rhodes here is huge, adn definitely means huge things for the young superstar. The Hart Dynasty winning via DQ makes sense, allowing Angle/HHH to keep the belts. Excellent Main Event, and as predicted, John Cena becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion, as it should be. Great show, AJ.

Bret Hart Leaving The Company Soon? Rumors have been swirling around with Bret Hart leaving the company soon. Ever since he returned to the WWE in May at Over The Limit, it has been questioned how long he plans on sticking around. Apparently Vince McMahon, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and himself have all apparently put things behind and have forgiven. However, he reportedly was heard speaking backstage about not staying past the end of the year.
Main Event For Bragging Rights To Also Be Interbrand? The 7-on-7 tag team match is not expected to be the main event at Bragging Rights, but rather the co-main event much like last year. However, to keep with the whole 'gimmick' of the Pay-Per-View, the creative team has reportedly put together a match featuring some top superstars on each brand against each other.
On Board for NXT Season 2 Following the finish of NXT on December 28 this year, a season 2 will reportedly be starting the week right after on January 4. It can be expected to see names such as Jinder Mahal and Jerrelle Clark to be a part of the show. Things are expected to be finalized by next month.

l OCTOBER 4TH, 2010 l INTRUST BANK ARENA: WICHITA, KS l "Hell And Back Again"
The opening pyros hit the stage as Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw. World Heavyweight Champion John Cena makes his way out as the crowd pops wildly. He makes his way down to the ring, and with a grin, takes a mic. "The Champ Is Here!" Loud cheering from the majority of the people in the arena. Cena says that last night he went to Hell and back again. He seems upset at first but shouts that it was all worth it because he is the new World Heavyweight Champion! He raises the title up and says that he went up against The Animal and he brought The Animal down! Batista doesn't want to hear it and makes his way down to the ring. He gets right in Cena's face and demands his rematch right now! The crowd cheer the idea and Cena laughs, asking if he is serious. Batista says he is and Cena gets serious right back and says they should go then. The crowd pop loudly, but as Cena and Batista are getting ready to fight, Teddy Long makes his way out to the ramp. He says that he doesn't want them fighting it out right now, as great as that would be. As the crowd boo the disruption, Teddy says he has some news about Bragging Rights in 3 weeks, however. He announces that there will be a tag team match featuring four of the top stars in the WWE - Cena and Batista being two of them. They both glare at Teddy, who says that in that match it will be Batista teaming with Smackdown's Edge and Cena teaming with Smackdown's Randy Orton! The two stare at each other and Long announces as well, he likes the idea given earlier and he is going to allow John Cena vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship! The crowd cheer and Long says that it will also be a No Holds Barred match! The crowd cheer as the rivals stare each other down. | Commercial Break |Raw Bragging Rights Team QualifierIntercontinental Champion Wade Barrett vs Kaval The bell rings, Kaval unloading with kicks to start things off. Barrett manages to catch him at one point, though, and floors him to the mat. Barrett uses his strength to work Kaval a while up until he gets met with tons of kicks again. He ends up taking Barrett down with a dropkick, and ends up missing the Warrior's Way. He ends up stumbling to the corner, and returns back to Barrett and is dropped with The Wasteland. He is pinned for the three. Winner of the match: Wade Barrett (6:54) **1/4 Barrett begins to celebrate his victory. He takes his Intercontinental Title, and a microphone. With a grin, he says that at Bragging Rights he will be the reason that Team Raw gains the victory. He promises to be the one who will single handed take down whoever there may be on the Smackdown team no matter who is over there and he doesn't even need the rest of Team Raw. He throws the mic down and taunts with the championship. | Commercial Break |Raw Bragging Rights Team QualifierThe Hart Dynasty w/Natalya and Bret Hart vs The Dudebusters w/Curt Hawkins The bell sounds as Kidd kicks things off with Trent. They trade some shots, each showing some good athleticism early on, but Kidd getting the upper hand. Trent gets fed up quickly and rakes the eyes before tagging in Caylen, who double teams on Kidd. Caylen manages control for a little while up until Smith is tagged in, and he cleans house. After tossing Trent to the outside face first, he lifts Caylen up and Kidd assists in the Hart Attack, Smith getting the pin. Winners of the match: The Hart Dynasty (7:09) **3/4 The Hart Dynasty begin to celebrate, but it is cut off by the theme of Vince McMahon, who struts his way out to the ramp with Triple H and Kurt Angle. He sarcastically congratulates The Hart Dynasty on the victory and making it to the Raw team, but he has some information for them. They keep their eyes right on the three of them as Vince announces he is placing the Unified Tag Team Champions Triple H and Kurt Angle on the Smackdown team! He laughs a bit and says that not only will The Hart Dynasty have no chance in Hell, but neither will the Raw team itself. | Commercial Break |Returning, John Cena is shown sitting in his locker room. The door opens and Smackdown's Randy Orton walks in. The crowd cheer wildly as he immediately says he knows that they've had their problems in the past, even at Bragging Rights last year, but when it comes to this year they are on the same side. Cena tells him to be quiet, he already knows that. He says that he doesn't care about last year - because he isn't trying to destroy Orton, he's trying to destroy Batista. He says he knows what he is talking about because he was inside Hell In A Cell also last night. Cena says they need to work together to fight against those guys, or else they'll never hear the end of it. He scoops up his title and begins to walk out, but Orton stops him, saying that he has his back. We cut to Todd Grisham, and he introduces his guest at this time to be Kenny Omega. The crowd give a mixed reaction as he walks up to him. Todd thanks him for his time and asks about his first appearance on Monday Night Raw. Omega tells him to talk to the hand and says he shouldn't have to answer to a guy who gets pleasure by watching home-made videos at midnight well he cries himself to sleep because nobody loves him. Todd just stands there and Omega clarifies he is talking about him. He says that after ECW was killed thanks to himself and the rest of the Anti-ECW Alliance at Summerslam, he was told he would be coming to Raw. With a grin, he says that he knows he'll become a future World Heavyweight Champion, and if John Cena didn't have to face Batista later - he'd make sure that the Omega Eon would begin tonight. | Commercial Break |Raw Bragging Rights Team QualifierShawn Michaels vs The Miz The bell sounds and both men circle the ring. Locking up, Miz takes control quickly and gets really cocky with every single strike. After a minute or so, Michaels begins to fight back. He hits a couple of atomic drops and suplexes and even hits his flying forearm in the next few minutes, but Miz manages to avoid the signature elbow drop. He cheaply takes advantage of HBK in any way he can for a while, and eventually hits the Skull Crushing Finale. However, he fails to get the pinfall. HBK soon hits the Sweet Chin Music, but as he goes for the pin, The Legacy are already right down to the ring. Brett and Joe pull the referee out of the ring well Rhodes delivers the Cross Rhodes and throws Miz's arm over HBK. The referee returns to the ring and counts the pin. Winner of the match: The Miz (9:59) *** Legacy make their way up the ramp as Miz begins to stir. He soon realizes his victory and starts to celebrate as if he had done it all himself. HBK gets onto his hands and knees and clutches hold of the bottom rope, looking very pissed off with Legacy. | Commercial Break |Raw Bragging Rights Team QualifierJohn Morrison vs Chris Jericho The bell rings and Jericho quickly takes Morrison down with a clothesline. He goes for some quick pins and some fast take down moves throughout the opening minutes. He applies a few submissions, but ultimately is pulled off. Morrison hits some hard kicks and shows his athleticism on Y2J, much like at Hell In A Cell. He goes for the Starship Pain, but Y2J rolls out of the ring. He drags Morrison out after and begins to beat him down. Morrison fights back, only to be tossed head first into the steel steps. Jericho yells at him and slaps him around a bit, the referee reaching a 10 count in the ring. Winner of the match: No Contest (8:12) ***1/4Jericho stomps down on Morrison a bit more before storming his way up the ramp. However, Teddy Long appears on the titantron and tells Chris to hold up. He says that due to the result of this match, he has a dilemma with the Raw team. He says that he would like both men to be on the team, and that's exactly what he's going to do! He confirms both Jericho and Morrison to be a part of Team Raw at Bragging Rights! Jericho is fuming as Morrison grins. | Commercial Break |Raw Bragging Rights Team QualifierR-Truth vs Ted DiBiase As soon as the bell rings, Truth unloads with strikes to DiBiase. He gets shoved away though, and met with a clothesline. DiBiase begins to work the offense as the crowd gets behind him. He sets up for Dream Street after a couple minutes, but Truth manages to pull free and rake the eyes. He hits a few hard shots and a couple kicks, soon hitting the Axe Kick as well. He goes for the pin, but only gets a two count. As Truth gets more frustrated, DiBiase hits Dream Street. The Miz comes rushing down to the ring, though, and begins to yell at DiBiase. Truth rolls him up and the referee soon notices it as Shelton Benjamin is on his way to the ring and he pulls the ref out of the ring! Truth begins to get pissed with Benjamin, and is met with yet another Dream Street and is pinned. Winner of the match: Ted DiBiase (8:07) **3/4 Miz hops into the ring right after and begins to beat down on DiBiase. Benjamin hops into the ring for the save, and begins to hit tons of shots to Miz rapidly. Truth attacks from behind though, and the heels take control of their respected rivals. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on DiBiase as Truth hits the Axe Kick on Benjamin. The two look to each other without much of a care for what they did solo, but nod about the situation taking place. | Commercial Break |We return as Diva's Champion Michelle McCool and Layla make their way down to the ring. McCool gets on the mic and says that last week she retained her Diva's Title against Gail Kim. Laughing, she says that she could defend the title anytime and defeat just about anybody. Layla and her then say simultaneously "anybody". Layla begins to put over McCool by saying that she is absolutely flawless compared to everybody else, and she will beat anybody who tries to mess with her. They put their hands up to the crowd as they boo and say "whatever" together. They begin to walk out of the ring, but Smackdown's Beth Phoenix makes her way out to the ramp. She has a mic and says that she has some news for them. Laycool look disgusted as Beth says that at Bragging Rights both of them will be in action against some Smackdown talent in a 6-Diva Tag Team Match. Laycool begin to whine about it and Beth says she'll make sure they know exactly who they are up against next week. She walks to the back. Cutting backstage, Todd Grisham introduces his guest at this time to be Batista. He begins to ask a question, but Batista yells at him to shut up! He snatches the microphone and says that tonight he is going to rip John Cena's head off and he is going to be taking back the World Heavyweight Championship that he should still be holding tonight! He shoves the microphone into Todd's chest, forcing him to fall back a bit. He storms off. | Commercial Break |World Heavyweight Championship No Holds Barred MatchBatista vs John Cena© The bell rings and the two stare each other down, much like the night before. They lock up and Batista throws Cena into the corner, delivering repeated shoulders to the gut. He overpowers him a bit and gets a couple near falls before getting really pissed and throwing Cena into the steel post and having him go to the outside. He pulls apart the steel steps and goes to hit Cena, but he ducks, and it ends up hitting the steel post. Cena then throws him face first into the post, and follows after him. He tosses him into the ring apron and ducks a clothesline, proceeding to hit the Attitude Adjustment on the outside. | Commercial Break |Returning, Cena hits a few shots in the ring and goes for his signature shoulder block, only to be caught by the throat and tossed in the corner. Batista regains his momentum from earlier and unloads with power to the mid-section. He hits a spinebuster in the middle of the ring after, and follows it up with a huge Batista Bomb! He goes for the pin, only to get a two count. Very angry, 'The Animal' steps out of the ring and grabs the time keepers chair and folds it up. He gets in the ring and hits Cena right in the back! He begins to swing it down viciously, and the crowd begins to cheer wildly as Randy Orton comes running down to the ring! He trades shots with Batista up until Edge hops over the barricade and enters the ring, spearing the hell out of Orton. As 'The Viper' rolls out of the ring, Edge follows. However, Batista turns to the Attitude Adjustment and is pinned in the middle of the ring. Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena (13:21) **** Cena is awarded the World Title, and he begins to taunt it to the crowd. However, as he gets down from one of the corners, he is met with a spear from Edge! The Rated R Superstar gets right in Cena's face and warns him he better not get involved with his business. He stands up and brushes his hair away. He is spun around and met with the RKO from Orton, and The Viper starts to stalk Batista. Once up, he is met with one as well. Cena stirs up in the corner and looks to Orton. The two stare at each other oddly as Monday Night Raw fades to a close.

-Good promo here. Liking how you're going with something else, here. The tag team match for BR should be cool. -Barrett over Kaval was the right call as he needs to make a legit IC Champion. -Hart Dynasty over Dudebusters was expected as they are the superior team. -Miz over Michaels is major for his career. Michaels seems like his job now is to help others gain overness basically. -I like that they are both going to be on the Bragging Rights team. And considering the bad blood between the two, I suspect betrayal. -DiBiase over was expected to continue his push. Wonder where Truth goes from here. -Great main event. John Cena over Batista actually shocked me. But I'm happy for it. Good call there. -Great show; Bragging Rights looks to be a good PPV like all others.

-Great way to open up RAW with Batista and Cena. The Bragging Rights match should be good and the WHC match should be a nice main event. -Barrett going over Kaval to be on Team RAW is nice. -HD going over Dudebusters was expected. Them being in Team RAW is nice as well. McMahon adding Angle and HHH to team SD wasn't expected though. -Miz going over HBK because of Legacy is good. It continues their feud. -Jericho and Morrison both going into team RAW is a nice addition. -DiBiase going over Truth to qualify is great. -6 Diva Tag match should be good at BR. -Cena going over Batista is great. The post match actions are nice as well. Overall, nice RAW, sets up for Bragging Rights.

Raw, brilliant way to open the show with that announcement of that huge Bragging Rights match. I'm pleased to see Wade Barrett qualify for Team Raw, although I would have liked to see Kaval on there. The Hart Dynasty qualifying is good, and so is Triple H and Kurt Angle added to Team SmackDown. Orton has Cena's back! Johnny Omega should be good on Raw. I was shocked to see The Miz defeat Shawn Michaels, but the interference of The Legacy makes it believable. Loving the No Contest ending to Morrison/Jericho, and both men on the team is great. I'm pleased to see DiBiase over Truth, and the duel fued stuff is good. Obvious victory for John Cena as he needs to keep the World Championship for a while. A great ending to Raw here, good show.

WWE RAW: Monday 4th October 2010...Decent promo with John Cena in the ring and basically bringing it all back with Batista, pretty much writes itself. I am intrigued with a tag team main event for Bragging Rights? I'm hoping that instead we see the RAW vs SmackDown match main event. A rematch tonight is pretty nuts, though. Wade Barrett qualifying for Team RAW is good, better than Kaval anyway. The WWE Intercontinental Champion I would have liked to see in a different match though, obviously not in the same scenario as heel WWE United States Champion, Bryan Danielson. The Hart Dynasty getting on the team is good, just wish you'd give them something to do that makes them more credible and individualised. They cannot live a decent career based on being the newest formation of the Hart Family. Triple H and Kurt Angle on SmackDown is random, unless they're now permanently SmackDown. I dislike the team now, because it's more so Hunter and Angle being marginalized to be voiced by Vince McMahon. Make them more individual. I hope they're both given better things to do going into WrestleMania XXVII. Even feuding each other would be nice. Kenny Omega's segment was alright, didn't do too much. Heavily doubtful of his claim to be future World Heavyweight Champion. The Miz beating Shawn Michaels is great, but I'm getting bored of the HBK and Cody Rhodes feud now. I hope it ends at Bragging Rights. John Morrison and Chris Jericho had a decent match, back and forth but I'm not too fond of the throwing away of just having Morrison AND Jericho on the team. Think logically; these two hate each other and could cost RAW the match. Ted Dibiase is much better than R-Truth. Good decision, but again with the dysfunctional side. RAW is basically f*cked realistically. Michelle McCool and Layla's promo was nice, but I am not looking forward to Bragging Rights the rate this is going on tag team matches. Beth Phoenix? What is this, SmackDown divas without RAW divas on RAW? Where's the logic. Batista and John Cena had a great main event for the World Heavyweight Championship, predicted Cena retaining his newly won belt. Edge and Randy Orton's teamup to take out Cena and Batista is alright, but overall...dire show. The direction for Bragging Rights is based on team competition. Why is half of the roster teamed together rivals? I also think you need to balance it out with more singles matches, but hey. You've got three weeks to turn this around.

l OCTOBER 5TH, 2010 l LANDON ARENA: TOPEKA, KS l "You Are The Weakest Link"
The opening pyros hit as Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcome everybody to NXT. They remind us that the first elimination will be taking place tonight. However, it is time for some last minute action to gain the votes of the Pros, as we have ourselves a match right now!
Singles Match Darren Young w/Shelton Benjamin vs Heath Slater w/John Morrison The bell sounds as the two lock up. Slater gets the upper hand early. He takes Young down a couple of times and gets a few near falls. Young fights back with some hard forearms and a series of dropkicks and knee drops. He manages to gain momentum and get Slater in the corner as well and hit a few hard shots. Slater quickly pushes him away and hits a hard clothesline. Slater then goes for the Sweetness, but Young rolls through for a quick pin. Winner of the match: Darren Young (6:36) **1/2 Young pops up and begins to celebrate his victory. Slater rises up, not looking that happy, but soon offers his hand out. Young shakes it as Morrison and Benjamin nod in approval to each other on the outside of the ring, applauding their rookies performances. | Commercial Break |Returning, a promo video for Bragging Rights is shown. Tag Team MatchThe Miz and Johnny Curtis vs Percy Watson and Zack Ryder The bell rings as Curtis starts things off with Watson. They trade momentum for a couple of minutes up until Watson forces a tag to Ryder, only to be slapped right in the face. Watson is now legal again, and Curtis tags in Miz. He rushes in and beats down Watson for a little while, setting up for the Skull Crushing Finale soon. Watson manages to push him off though, and Curtis is tagged back in. He rushes in right to the Floatover DDT and is pinned. Winners of the match: Percy Watson and Zack Ryder (7:19) **3/4 | Commercial Break |Fatal Four Way MatchDavid Otunga w/MVP vs Skip Sheffield w/Santino Marella vs Richie Steamboat w/Chris Jericho vs Alex Riley w/Jack Swagger The bell rings as Steamboat goes at with Sheffield as Riley goes at it with Otunga. Trading of shots go for both sides up until they all get into a mix. This goes on for a little while up until Steamboat goes to the top turnbuckle and splashes onto all three of them. Steamboat works Riley for a while after up until Otunga and Sheffield once again join in. A whole cluster begins. Sheffield hits a huge lariat on Riley, Otunga hits the Verdict on Sheffield, and Steamboat hits a huge crossbody on Otunga - getting the pin right after. Winner of the match: Richie Steamboat (8:59) *** Steamboat quickly gets to his feet in celebration, hopping out of the ring. As Santino applauds him and rushes over, raising his hand, Jericho storms over and pushes Santino out of the way. He gets right in Steamboat's face and talks some trash before storming up the ramp. | Commercial Break |Returning, Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von stand in the ring as the eight rookies stand on the outside. Striker says that it has been some intense weeks, and tonight one of these hard fighting rookies will be eliminated! He reminds everybody that Richie Steamboat won immunity last week, and if he ends up resulting in #8 in the rankings, the #7 rank will be eliminated. He slowly exits the ring with Cor Von and walks past the rookies giving a speech about how they have all showed what they have and some have been doing good well others - not so much. He points to the titantron and asks for the rankings to be revealed! Rank | Rookie | 1 | Alex Riley | 2 | Johnny Curtis | 3 | Percy Watson | 4 | Richie Steamboat | 5 | Darren Young | 6 | Skip Sheffield | 7 | David Otunga | 8 | Heath Slater |
Striker confirms Slater's elimination and apologizes to him, saying he showed some good sportsmanship in this competition - but he just wasn't good enough, it appears. He asks if he has anything to say and Slater says that he does. He says that John Morrison is the worst 'pro' up there. He then goes and criticizes the rest of the rookies, saying that none of them deserve to win more than he does! Getting boos, he storms up to Darren Young and says he's taking back his handshake from earlier and clocks him over the head with the microphone! The face rookies quickly check on Young as security comes rushing down to pull Slater away. As he gets up the ramp, he yells at Morrison, who just shakes his head to end NXT.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 5th October 2010...Darren Young kicking off NXT with the win over Heath Slater is acceptable, competitive opening contest that went well. I hope Young goes further than Slater; much prefer him, there's so much more potential in Darren. Just thinking about it, hoping we don't see a Nexus coming from this. Percy Watson and Zack Ryder overcoming The Miz and Johnny Curtis surprised me, but it got the job done. Do like how the show is more focused on matches, a good fatal four-way match between the four NXT Rookies previously unused, and it was a good match. Richie Steamboat with the win I'm unsure of though. I feel a heel should have won here. The show seems moreso prompted in Richie's favor. Like he's star of the show. Slater I didn't expect to see eliminated first, would have preferred to see David Otunga go first, but nevermind I suppose. Slater's negative behavior to the other members of NXT including the Pros could be a story arc for the future in which Slater makes WWE television. A decent episode, did what it intended.

-Young over Slater is fine. Slater's looking pretty irrelevant as of now. He could be eliminated. -Watson has been on a roll as of late. Ryder and Watson winning is cool. -Steamboat needed this win. Even though, he wouldn't have been eliminated. This should hurt Otunga though. -I expected that Slater would go, he lost in 1-on-1, Otunga lost 4 man. -Good show; looking forward to further weeks. Exciting show so far.

l OCTOBER 7TH, 2010 l LANDON ARENA: TOPEKA, KS l "Challenge This"
The opening pyros hit the stage as Paul Heyman and Jim Ross welcome everybody to the show. Abraham Washington makes his way down to the ring and has a mic in his hand, with a grin as well. He says that it is that time of year again for Bragging Rights! He calls for the referees to bring 'it' out, and a couple soon carry out the trophy from last year. He says that last year it was this brand who came out with the victory - and he guarantees they will again this year. However, the best of the best will have to be found, and they will be having some qualifiers tonight. He says that the Unified Tag Team Champions Triple H and Kurt Angle are already representatives of the team by Mr. McMahon's orders. He goes on saying that there is also a void that is needed to be filled at Bragging Rights - and that is the #1 contender for the WWE Championship! He says even if one of the superstars tonight qualifies for the Smackdown team, they will have the chance to challenge for the title in the battle royal spoken of last week to determine the new #1 contender! The crowd cheer for the match, and Washington says we should get down to business with finding out who will represent team Smackdown right now! Smackdown Bragging Rights Team QualifierDrew McIntyre vs Justin Gabriel The bell rings as Gabriel fires off with a few shots and gets an early upper hand. McIntyre doesn't take it well and big boots him to the mat. He follows that up with a couple minutes of aggressive work in the corners and on the mat. He goes for the Future Shock, but Gabriel manages to pull himself free and hit a series of dropkicks. After ducking a clothesline, he hits a DDT and goes to the top for the 450 Splash. McIntyre avoids it though and hooks both legs for the 3. Winner of the match: Drew McIntyre (6:44) **3/4 McIntyre rises to his feet with his fists raised in celebration. He doesn't allow the referee to raise his hand, however, and drags Gabriel back to his feet. As the crowd boo him, he delivers the Future Shock DDT and exits the ring with a sinister grin across his face. Commercial BreakSmackdown Bragging Rights Team QualifierCarlito w/Primo vs Jack Swagger The bell rings as Swagger takes Carlito down to the mat early on, using his amateur skills to keep him grounded. Carlito fights back with his unique and athletic ability, getting a few nice springboard moves in. Swagger catches him on one though, and delivers the Gut Wrench Powerbomb. Carlito just barely manages to kick out, however, and slowly stirs as Swagger is arguing with the ref. He hits the backstabber, but Swagger kicks out of the pin attempt. He goes for a springboard moonsault after, but Swagger manages to pull his knees up and rise to hit the Gut Wrench Powerbomb and get the pin. Winner of the match: Jack Swagger (7:33) *** Swagger gets up with his arms spread out in taunt as he pounds his chest with a grin. Primo gets in the ring to check on his fallen brother. Swagger mocks them by pretending to have a single tear go down his face and then just points and laughs at them. He exits the ring. We cut to Todd Grisham, who introduces his guest at this time to be Kofi Kingston. He asks him about the opportunity to represent Team Smackdown this year. Kofi says that last year he was a part of Team Raw and his team was screwed over by The Big Show. He shakes his head saying that Team Smackdown didn't win fairly last year, but he knows that they will this year and he intends on being one of the reasons why. He walks off, his match next. Commercial BreakSmackdown Bragging Rights Team QualifierKofi Kingston vs Sheamus The bell rings as the two lock up. Kingston pushes him away quickly and gets a few hard shots in and throws a couple of kicks. Sheamus catches one, though, and flips him onto his face. He uses his strength to overpower the high flier for a couple of minutes, seemingly toying with him. Kingston fights back hard though, and even manages to hit the Trouble In Paradise. Sheamus kicks out of numerous pin attempts, though, and prepares to hit the Celtic Cross. Rob Van Dam, however, walks towards the ring. Distracted, Sheamus releases Kingston, which is a mistake as he is rolled up and the pinfall is counted. Winner of the match: Kofi Kingston (9:03) *** Kingston celebrates his victory and hops out of the ring. Sheamus is furious as RVD enters the ring. They get face to face and begin to exchange strikes! The crowd cheer wildly as RVD gets the upper hand and hits a huge spinning wheel kick. He looks to the top turnbuckle and quickly makes his way up it. However, he doesn't get the chance to hit the Five Star Frog Splash as the 'Celtic Warrior' rolls out of the ring quickly. He backs up the ramp enraged. Commercial BreakReturning, Unified Tag Team Champions Triple H and Kurt Angle make their way down to the ring - alone. Hunter gets on the mic and says that Vince put them on Team Smackdown at Bragging Rights. He says that's just fine, but himself and Kurt have much bigger plans going into the Pay-Per-View. Angle speaks now and says that tonight in the battle royal, they are both a part of it. He talks about winning the World Title a few years back in a battle royal, and Triple H? He's a former Royal Rumble winner - something much more difficult and tiring. He asks the crowd what more do they need to be proven they are the greatest tag team to ever exist in the WWE. Hunter says that he knows - and that's to beat The Hart Dynasty one more time. The crowd cheer for the idea as the theme song of The Hart Dynasty hits, only to have two men posing as them come down to the ring. The smaller one, pretending to be Kidd, says that he knows a team that is much better than them and that's them! He laughs, snorting in between to seem like a nerd, and hands the mic off to "Smith". He stays silent though, playing on the fact he doesn't talk as much. Hunter and Angle act all scared, and the "Hart Dynasty" send simultaneous strikes only to be ducked under. Angle hits the Angle Slam on "Kidd" as Hunter hits the Pedigree on "Smith". They get up, pretending to be tired. They go to speak again, but the real Hart Dynasty come rushing to the ring! They trade shots with the tag champs, eventually taking both men out of the ring with double clotheslines. They look to each other with grins and scoop up the Unified Tag Team Titles, raising them high in the air as Angle and Hunter yell at them that it is theirs. Kidd takes a mic from the mat and says if it really is theirs, they should come and get it back! The crowd cheer loudly, wanting this fight to keep on going. However, it is all spoiled as Angle and Hunter choose to back down and go to the back. Commercial BreakSmackdown Bragging Rights Team QualifierCM Punk w/Straight Edge Society vs Kane The bell rings and Punk hits a few quick strikes to the head. Kane sends an uppercut that sends him down, though, and begins to work him hard with a series of powerful slams. Punk fights back on a chokeslam and manages to get down and hit a few more shots to gain some momentum. He ducks a clothesline and sets up for the GTS, but he can't hold Kane up enough. He continues his striking, but as he goes for the corner knee, he is caught by the throat and hit with a chokeslam in the middle of the ring. Kane walks over to him and drags him up, hitting the Tombstone Piledriver and getting the pin. Winner of the match: Kane (7:56) **3/4 Kane does his pyro taunt as Punk slowly rolls out of the ring, being aided by the Straight Edge Society. Kane laughs, as he has seemed to win this war between himself and Punk - and has also earned himself a spot on Team Smackdown. The SES make their way to the back. Commercial BreakSmackdown Bragging Rights Team QualifierEvan Bourne vs Alberto Del Rio The bell sounds and Bourne quickly gets dropped to the mat with a clothesline. Del Rio works his arm early, and pulls him to the outside - smashing it against the post repeatedly. The referee has to stop him constantly. Bourne fights back with his legs though, and manages to take Del Rio down a few times. Mr. Money In The Bank goes for the Air Bourne, but Del Rio manages to get up and trip him on on the top rope. He pulls him down into the rolling cross armbar from there with a thud as the crowd are impressed by it. Bourne kicks around rapidly, but begins to tap out after only a short while. Winner of the match: Alberto Del Rio (8:50) *** Del Rio celebrates his victory and gets on the mic as the referee tends to Bourne. He laughs and says that the only real honest man in WWE is going to Bragging Rights for Team Smackdown! The crowd boo, showing their distaste of him. He says that tonight in that battle royal as well, he will be getting himself another shot at the WWE Championship and take it away from Christian. He winks to the camera and exits the ring, Bourne still being tended to. Commercial BreakReturning, Edge makes his way down to the ring. Edge gets on the mic and says that he would like to remind everybody that this past Sunday he beat Randy Orton just like he said he would! Getting boos he says that also this past Monday it was announced at Bragging Rights that he will team with Batista to face not only Randy Orton, but the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. He laughs a little and says that he sees this as a huge opportunity to not only to defeat his rival, but the World Champion and prove that he deserves another shot at the title that is truly his! He walks around the ring and goes to say something else, but Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring, his music cutting him off. He gets on the mic and says that he did lose this past Sunday at Hell In A Cell, he'll admit it. He steps up closer to Edge and says that on Raw though, he dropped him with an RKO. The crowd cheer as Edge glares at him, soon laughing. He says he is tired of talking about the past and he has some news for Randy concerning the future. He says that he talked to Abraham Washington, and he talked to Teddy Long, and next week on Smackdown it will be Randy Orton vs Batista! The crowd pop again as Orton just smiles and says that is interesting, because he also talked to Abraham Washington and he talked to Teddy for him and that on Raw next week it will be Edge vs John Cena! Another eruption begins as Zack Ryder makes his way down to the ring for the battle royal - next! Commercial Break20-Man Over The Top Rope Battle Royal #1 Contenders Match to the WWE ChampionshipEdge vs Randy Orton vs Zack Ryder vs Primo vs Carlito vs Justin Gabriel vs Joey Mercury vs Matt Cross vs CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler vs Evan Bourne vs Sheamus vs MVP vs Kane vs Bryan Danielson vs Kofi Kingston vs Alberto Del Rio vs Rob Van Dam vs Kurt Angle vs Triple H As the bell rings, the majority of the battle is heels vs faces with multiple double teams. Primo is clotheslined out by Del Rio early on, with HHH throwing Cross over the top. Primo and Matt Cross are eliminated. The heels begin to get the upper hand at most areas of the ring, but Mercury is tipped over by Orton as Edge tries to eliminate Orton, but to no avail. Joey Mercury is eliminated. Ryder ends up getting in the middle of the ring after a couple minutes and begins to yell at everybody to stop. He is then circled, and ganged up on. He is tossed out. Zack Ryder is eliminated. A minute or so goes by with no eliminations. Commercial BreakReturning; Bryan Danielson, Kane, CM Punk, Edge, Randy Orton, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Kofi Kingston, and Alberto Del Rio remain. The heels, with a 6-3 advantage, each pair up on a face. However, Orton and Kane break free and tip HHH and Angle over from behind! Kurt Angle and Triple H are eliminated. Del Rio attacks Orton from behind, gaining some momentum. After a couple more minutes, Danielson attempts to eliminate Kingston but Rey Mysterio rushes down to the ring as the crowd erupts for his return! He trades shots with Danielson in the ring and manages to hit a huge hurricanrana - sending him over the top rope. Bryan Danielson is eliminated. Del Rio is busy taunting to the crowd, however, and turns to the Trouble In Paradise from Kingston and he falls over the top! Alberto Del Rio is eliminated. Kingston stirs to his feet with a grin, but is clotheslined from behind by Edge over the top. Kofi Kingston is eliminated. Orton comes storming up to Edge next, and the two rivals exchange shots. Kane comes up to them and grabs them each by the throat, pushing them over the top! The crowd cheer, but stop, as CM Punk comes sneaking up behind Kane and delivers a low blow. He then pulls Kane up onto his shoulders and manages to hit the GTS, clotheslining Kane over the top rope, getting vengeance for earlier. Winner of the match: CM Punk (15:24) ***1/4 Punk taunts to the crowd his victory as they boo him. As he does, WWE Champion Christian makes his way out to the ramp applauding Punk sarcastically. As they stare each other down, Punk talking trash from the ring as Christian smirks, the Straight Edge Society suddenly come from behind and take the champion down. They stomp him a bit and drag him to the ring, Punk demanding for him. Once Christian gets up, Punk lifts him onto his shoulders and hits the GTS. The SES soon join Punk and as he leans over Christian with a sadistic grin to end Smackdown.

SmackDown, pleased to see Drew McIntyre defeat Justin Gabriel, as he makes a much more credible member. A pretty obvious victory for Jack Swagger here, and another good team member. Kofi Kingston over Sheamus makes sense with an RVD interference. Great segment with the two teams, really making The Hart Dynasty seem credible. Kane on Team SmackDown is good, but Punk needs to be somewhere at Bragging Rights. Pleased to see Alberto Del Rio, but Evan Bourne is looking less and less like a future World Champion. Two huge matches made for next week's shows. I'm glad to see CM Punk wins here as like I said, he needed to be on the card somehow, and I hope he takes the WWE Championship too. Rey Mysterio returning was a shocker, but I'm glad he eliminated Daniel Bryan. Can't wait to see what you have for them both. Please to see Punk stand tall to close the show.
