Smackdown: September 23rd, 2010 Preview
WWE TITLE SCENE: Christian will be on Smackdown to celebrate his successful defense of the WWE Championship at Night Of Champions. However, a new contender is expected to be announced and/or determined for Hell In A Cell as well.
UNITED STATES TITLE SCENE: Bryan Danielson looks to continue his literal mean streak. He defends the gold in a fatal four way against Justin Gabriel, Dolph Ziggler, and Kofi Kingston on this edition of Smackdown - just 4 days after retaining it.
NON-TITLE SCENE: Randy Orton and Edge went at it all the way to the backstage area following the scramble match - adding fuel to the fire pretty largely. Now they confront each other. Also, Kane still seeks vengeance on CM Punk and will get the chance. Plus, Drew McIntyre seeks action and Rob Van Dam makes his return to Smackdown after being taken out by Sheamus.
TAG TITLE SCENE: Kurt Angle and Triple H won the Unified Tag Team Titles from The Hart Dynasty at Night Of Champions, and to prove themselves they plan on being in tag team action on Smackdown. The Hart Dynasty are expected to be watching, as well.
WOMEN'S TITLE SCENE: With a new Women's Champion in Melina, she looks to keep hold of the gold by defending in a rematch against Beth Phoenix.

l SEPTEMBER 23RD, 2010 l JOE LOUIS ARENA: DETROIT, MI l "Honestly"
Highlights from Night Of Champions are shown with Kurt Angle and Triple H winning the Unified Tag Team Championships, Bryan Danielson retaining the United States Championship, Melina winning the Women's Championship, and Christian keeping the WWE Championship.
The opening pyros hit the stage as Paul Heyman and Jim Ross welcome everybody to Thursday Night Smackdown! WWE Champion Christian makes his way down to the ring as the crowd pops for him. He gets on the mic and thanks them for their warm welcoming. He speaks about this past Sunday and outlasting four other men. He says he has no idea who his next challenger is going to be, but it quite honestly doesn't matter to him because he is the WWE Champion and plans on being the WWE Champion for quite some time! He goes on to say something else but a man speaks over him in Spanish. "Señoras y señores, les pido su atención por favor! Por favor, guardar silencio como usted está a punto de presenciar no sólo un hombre - sino el único hombre honesto de verdad! Este hombre es Alberto Del Rio!" The crowd boo out of hatred for the interruption and Alberto Del Rio makes his way down to the ring. He takes a mic once in and smiles to Christian. As Del Rio goes to speak Christian cuts him off. He says that if this punk is going to interrupt him then he is going to interrupt - he stops himself. Christian asks who the hell he is. Del Rio laughs a bit and says Christian is a very funny man, but he isn't a real honest man like him. He explains that he should know who he is by now if he actually paid attention to his own 'show'. But apparently he doesn't and therefore doesn't even deserve to be the possessor of the WWE Championship. Christian asks if he is out here to get a match for the WWE Title. Del Rio says that he isn't, but he'd be more then happy to bring back some honor to the WWE Championship rather then do what 'scum' like Christian have done to it and make it seem like a joke. Christian takes offense to it and begins to strike at him quickly! Del Rio goes for a clothesline but the WWE Champion ducks it and dropkicks him through the ropes and to the outside. He scoops the mic up again as Del Rio makes his way around the ring and up the ramp. He says that if he really wants to bring in some honor to the WWE, he can get his opportunity by facing him one-on-one tonight! Del Rio grins and says, "you're on." Commercial BreakFatal Four Way Match for the United States ChampionshipJustin Gabriel vs Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston vs Bryan Danielson© The bell rings as Danielson goes at Kingston well Ziggler goes at Gabriel. Kingston gets the upper hand in his situation, however, and manages to hit a bunch of high flying moves. Meanwhile, Ziggler hits a neckbreaker on the outside and works him a bit. They end up switching as Danielson works on Gabriel well Ziggler takes Kingston. Following the heels in control, they both get an Irish whip reversed and they collide. Danielson gets out of the ring as Kingston hits the Trouble In Paradise on Ziggler. He is tossed out by Gabriel and the 450 Splash is hit on Ziggler! Danielson gets back in and picks up the scraps though. Winner and still United States Champion: Bryan Danielson (8:45) *** Danielson flees from the ring and goes up the ramp, taunting the United States Championship at Gabriel and Kingston who are in disgust with his tactics to keep his title once again. Cutting to ringside, Jim Ross confirms Alberto Del Rio vs Christian in a non-title match tonight. Commercial BreakSingles MatchDrew McIntyre vs Evan Bourne The bell rings and McIntyre tries to corner Bourne, but is juked. Bourne hits some hard kicks and even sends McIntyre to the outside a couple of times. He climbs to the top turnbuckle but misses a crossbody and ends up hitting the barricade. As they end up back in the ring, McIntyre overpowers him a lot. He goes for the Future Shock, but Bourne pulls out and dropkicks him to the mat. He sees an opening and climbs to the top turnbuckle - setting for the Air Bourne - but MVP walks out, distracting Bourne, who gets down. McIntyre quickly spins him around and hits the Future Shock. He gets the pin. Winner of the match: Drew McIntyre (7:26) **3/4 McIntyre has a short celebration as MVP gets in the ring. They look to each other and McIntyre motions for MVP to do what he wants and he exits the ring. Bourne struggles up as MVP slaps him around. As Mr. Money In The Bank reaches his feet, he is dropped with the Play of the Day. Cutting backstage, Todd Grisham is standing by. He introduces his guests at this time to be The Colón's. He asks them about getting the opportunity to face the Unified Tag Team Champions, Triple H and Kurt Angle here tonight. Carlito says that they aren't intimidated and Primo adds on saying that they may be these big shots when it comes to World Championships among other things - but they have a flaw in teaming with each other unlike brothers. Commercial BreakNon-Title MatchThe Colón's vs Unified Tag Team Champions Triple H and Kurt Angle w/Vince McMahon The bell rings as Carlito goes right at Triple H, unloading with shots. He gets shoved around a bit but he uses his agility to keep HHH on his toes. He fails to hit the backcracker after a couple minutes though and Angle is tagged in. He works Carlito on the mat up until Primo is tagged in and he fails to get much offense in whatsoever. The champions tag in and out as Triple H ends up hitting the Pedigree on Primo and Angle makes him tap to the ankle lock after. Winners of the match: Triple H and Kurt Angle (5:10) **3/4 Carlito rushes into the ring and tries to fight with Triple H, but is ultimately double teamed and laid out. The Hart Dynasty suddenly come rushing down to the ring, however, and trade shots with their Hell In A Cell opponents until they flee the ring. Kidd takes a mic and says that if they really think they can beat them at Hell In A Cell they need to try and beat them one on one next week. Kidd proposes Angle face him on Raw well Hunter faces Smith on Smackdown. Edge is shown walking down a hallway as he speaks next. Commercial BreakReturning, Edge makes his way down to the ring in street clothes. He takes a mic and says he has lost himself. He talks about winning the WWE Championship in June, but then ultimately being screwed at Summerslam by his own brother and then having to deal with scum like Randy Orton. He says that that scum led to this past Sunday and this past Sunday he couldn't capture back what is truly his, and now he is nothing but pissed off about it! He says that he snapped this past Sunday and he hurt Randy Orton by spearing him straight into a popcorn machine and he honestly doesn't even care what damage may of been done because all he wants to do is hurt and hurt and hurt until there is numbness throughout the body because that is exactly how he feels without the WWE Championship. Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring with a mic of his own, and he seems to be walking slowly as he is obviously still feeling effects from Night Of Champions. He tells Edge to calm himself down because he isn't going to be able to keep him down at all because he will keep coming back up every single time. He stops Edge from speaking and tells him he knows exactly what he wants: a match. Edge says he's right but Orton says that he isn't. He says that Edge doesn't want just a match, he wants a match that results in pain and suffering. He wants a Hell In A Cell match. Edge looks bewildered by the idea and Orton continues on. He says that in just 10 days this all can happen if Edge really wants it to - if he really wants to cause a bit of pain to others for the pain he feels. Edge seems furious at the mind games with words and he caves in saying he does want it. He says he'll face him at Hell In A Cell and he'll make sure that every bit of Randy's body is full of pain! Orton smiles and says that he'll see him then. He begins to walk off but Edge rushes at him, Orton expecting it, and he fires with shots. He backs Edge into the corner and hits some more shots, but gets shoved away. As he turns, the Rated R Superstar is rushing for a spear but he avoids it and drops him dead center in the ring with the RKO! He 'coils' as he gets to his feet and pounds on his chest. He wanders around Edge's body before exiting the ring satisfied. Commercial BreakSingles MatchCM Punk w/Joey Mercury and Matt Cross vs Kane The bell rings as Punk immediately rushes to Kane and is grabbed by the throat. He kicks him in the legs repeatedly, though, and gets him to let go. Punk hits some hard shots and a dropkick to send The Big Red Machine into the corner. He takes a bit of momentum for a couple minutes before being overpowered with multiple slams. Kane even hits his signature top rope clothesline. As he prepares for the chokeslam, Cross and Mercury get on the apron together. The referee is having none of it and immediately sends them to the back! Punk argues with him before turning to a chokeslam and being pinned. Winner of the match: Kane (8:44) *** Kane does his pyro taunt for his victory as Cross and Mercury get in the ring. They begin to strike at him but it has low effect as he easily shoves them away. Punk runs and gets lifted and tossed to the outside. Mercury gets chokeslammed and Cross is taken for the tombstone. Kane then gets out of the ring and makes his way to the back as Punk gets up, enraged with the Straight Edge Society as they seem to not be effective whatsoever. Commercial BreakReturning, Bryan Danielson is seen backstage in his locker room. He kisses the United States Championship and his phone begins to ring. He answers it and on the other line it can be heard in a deep toned voice: "Kiss the title as much as you can - because it will soon become mine." Danielson hangs up and puts the phone away, shaking his head. He keeps looking to the United States Championship, however, repeatedly. Women's ChampionshipBeth Phoenix vs Melina© The bell rings and Beth uses her power to start things off. Melina rolls her up multiple times, though, and tries to pull off a cheap victory. It doesn't work in her favor, however, and Beth continues to overpower to the point it seems like she's going to win the title back. She hits the Glam Slam, but Melina manages to kick out of it strongly. Beth is in disbelief and awaits Melina up again before pulling her up and being rolled up for the three count. Winner and still Women's Champion: Melina (5:13) **1/2 Melina gets out of the ring and is given the Women's Championship. Beth looks furious on the inside of the ring as she now has no shot at winning back what she has just lost thanks to her rematch clause being used up. Melina flaunts the title as she can now move on in the division. Commercial BreakReturning to the show, Sheamus makes his way down to the ring to a loud chorus of boos. He gets on the mic and says that at Summerslam he ended ECW with one kick to Rob Van Dam's skull. He says at Night Of Champions, Rob Van Dam ended his chance of becoming the WWE Champion with a full on attack leading to him being pinned. He says that he is sick of being treated this way here in the WWE - he deserves to be in the top of this business and nobody else because he is the Celtic Warrior! He says that he will beat anybody at any time. Rob Van Dam makes his way out to the ramp after that is said. He has a mic and mimics Sheamus by calling him "fella". He says he'd like to take that offer of beating anybody at any time and challenge him to a match at Hell In A Cell. He says it isn't just for himself but it is for the heart and soul of everything ECW stood for that Sheamus' egotistical acts crushed. Sheamus says he's on - he'll take that challenge and admits he has no care for ECW. He says he debuted on their and immediately wanted off and that's why he went to Monday Night Raw and is now a part of Smackdown and kicking people's heads off - including Rob Van Dam's! RVD says it's cool, because in 10 days it'll be Sheamus who is getting his head kicked off and he'll be wishing he never messed with the Whole Dam Show! RVD heads to the back. Commercial BreakNon-Title MatchAlberto Del Rio vs WWE Champion Christian The bell rings as Del Rio immediately gets aggressive with hard kicks and strikes to the head. He even corners the WWE Champion multiple times and has control over him, but gets cocky and is hit with tons of strikes. Christian hits a few dropkicks and ducks a clothesline to hit another one to send him out to the apron. He walks over to him but gets hung up on the rope by the arm. Del Rio then gets back in the ring and works on the arm some more. He follows with some more sharp kicks and even mixes it up with a few hard drops. He tosses Christian into the steel post hard shoulder first. Commercial BreakComing back from break, Del Rio is still in control. He has a common armbar locked on Christian, but he is pushed away with the free arm. Christian begins to hit some hard shots and takes Del Rio down a bunch of times and gets a couple near falls. He ducks a clothesline and manages to hit the Killswitch - but it lands not that great due to the hurt arm. He only gets a two count on the pin attempt. He drags Del Rio to his feet and strikes at him a bit, only to get kicked in the gut. Del Rio takes the arm and wraps his legs around it, rolling to the mat in a cross armlock. He pulls back, Christian yelling in pain and soon tapping. Winner of the match: Alberto Del Rio (10:36) ***1/2 Del Rio still has the hold on after the match and continues to pull as Christian keeps on yelling out and tapping. A few more referees come rushing to the ring to get Del Rio off and he soon does. Christian gets checked on as medics come down, the arm severely injured. Del Rio has a huge smile across his face as General Manager Abraham Washington begins to walk down to the ring along with another medic. He gets a mic and steps up to Del Rio, congratulating him on a huge and impressive debut. Del Rio says he has given some honor to this show once again like he promised, and kicks the downed Christian as the referees once again tell him to back off. He has a huge grin across his face as Washington says he'd like to announce to the WWE Universe that at Hell In A Cell, Christian will be defending his WWE Championship in a rematch of tonight against Alberto Del Rio due to the victory that has just occured. He congratulates Del Rio again, whom takes the WWE Championship from the referee holding onto it for Christian, and raises it high as Smackdown ends.

-Del Rio coming to WWE sounds pretty cool. Christian/Del Rio is nice too. -Danielson retaining is big for him as I thought that Ziggler would win it. Good match there. -McIntyre over Bourne is cool either way it goes there. -HHH and Kurt Angle over The Colons was the right call. There obviously the better team. -Kane winning was great. Hope that Kane can do something meaningful on SmackDown. -Melina over Beth was expected since she just won it. -Nice to see Sheamus/RVD at HIAC. Could be a nice little show of what ECW had to offer. -Alberto over the WWE Champion in his debut is big! Him vs. Christian for the WWE Championship at HIAC is different. But I like it alot. -Great show; loving all the new options you got now. Liking the new guys in the picture now too.

WWE SmackDown: Friday 23rd September 2010....Decent promo to kick off the show, Christian in the ring. Similar set up to Rey Mysterio with Alberto Del Rio's debut on screen with such a big position challenging the WWE Champion, Christian. The champ needs this win, which will hurt Del Rio. Good WWE United States Championship defense by Bryan Danielson, would have preferred this fatal four-way match happening at Night of Champions, though. Good win though, overcoming the odds of Justin Gabriel, Dolph Zigger and Kofi Kingston. The writeup in this match seemed incomplete. Good win for Drew McIntyre against Evan Bourne; MVP's involvement was odd, I must admit. Triple H and Kurt Angle beating Primo and Carlito was likelyy, the Colóns attack didn't surprise me that much, honestly. Edge's promo was good; should have been opening promo with focus on the actual Hell in a Cell match [pay-per-view > show main event] . Wow, you stole my idea and decided for Edge and Randy Orton at Hell in a Cell to be in the gimmick match. Kane beating CM Punk is fine; great match though. Not sure with all the title defenses considering Night of Champions was only last weekend. Melina beating Beth Phoenix is acceptable. Sheamus and Rob Van Dam's promo was good; too many promos perhaps on this show. Dire move with Alberto beating Christian: you were meant to try and convince me that Christian is a competent WWE Champion, but when you have him lose to undercard debuting superstar, Del Rio, it does nothing. Especially cleanly. I know Del Rio won't win the belt at Hell in a Cell, but Christian shouldn't be champion much longer if he keeps going losing matches like this. Good show, but the main storyline on the show was terribly executed.

l SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2010 l CONSECO FIELDHOUSE: INDIANAPOLIS, IN l "Hell Awaits"
The opening pyros hit as Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome everybody to the show. They hype up the main event for this evening as Chris Jericho and Batista team up to take on John Morrison and John Cena. Speaking of him, John Cena makes his way down to the ring to a good pop from the Indianapolis crowd. He gets right on the mic and says that things are heating up - and this Sunday he goes into Hell In A Cell. He claims that once he is inside that cell face to face with Batista, he will make sure it is indeed Hell! He talks about last week Batista coming out here and saying, "Can you see me now?" Cena ponders for a moment before stating that he indeed can see Dave now - he can see an arrogant self-centered jerk. He talks about how he went on commentary after saying all that last week - and he honestly has no idea what was said. He jokes saying that he isn't a narcissist and watches his matches all week long. He gives a bit of shifty eyes to play onward with it. As he goes to speak again, Batista makes his way down to the ring. He shouts at Cena he doesn't even need to watch his matches weekly because every single time he gets in the ring it's the same thing over and over again! A leg drop from the top rope, a five knuckle shuffle, the STF, the Attitude Adjustment - and nothing else! Cena says he has heard that many times from everybody but whether it's true or not he does the same thing every week, he can still beat Batista and become the World Heavyweight Champion. Batista tells him to shut up - because this Sunday he is going to be needing all his breath for as long as possible because he's going to be taking it all away. Cena mentions their match tonight and says that they could get a little sample then - but why not now? They get closer, face to face, and begin some trash talk as they toss their microphones away and Batista takes off his sunglasses. After a few moments, Batista begins to back off. Cena throws his arms up as Batista steps out of the ring and makes his way up the ramp with the World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. Commercial BreakNon-Title MatchShelton Benjamin vs Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett The bell rings as Benjamin unloads with strikes to the Intercontinental Champion. He takes him down a few times, and ends up getting a few near falls. As he works him with his agility for a while, Barrett ends up dominating a bit with his strength. However, as he goes for the Wasteland, Benjamin slips off the and hits a dropkick to send him down. Paydirt attempt, but Barrett pushes him off and hits the Wasteland, getting the pin. Winner of the match: Wade Barrett (7:41) **3/4 Barrett begins to celebrate his victory but goes over to Benjamin, not finished with him. He drags him up and sets for another Wasteland. However, R-Truth comes down to the ring and gets right up in Barrett's face. As they talk a bit, Barrett slowly backs off. Benjamin begins to stagger a bit, only to be hit with the Axe Kick! Truth pops up and taunts over the fallen Benjamin as the crowd boos at him loudly. Commercial BreakReturning, Teddy Long is shown and he announces this Sunday at Hell In A Cell it will be John Morrison vs Chris Jericho! Singles MatchBrett DiBiase w/Cody Rhodes and Joe Hennig vs Shawn Michaels The bell sounds and Michaels unloads with shots to DiBiase, soon taking him down with multiple suplexes. DiBiase begins to fight back though, hitting some tough shots and taking Michaels down a bit. After some momentum, they begin to trade back and forth until HBK hits his signature forearm. He goes to elbow drop, but is pushed off by Hennig. The referee takes notice and sends him to the back. DiBiase runs at HBK, but is hit with Sweet Chin Music and is pinned. Winner of the match: Shawn Michaels (8:22) *** Michaels begins to celebrate the victory as Rhodes and Hennig get in the ring. He takes them both down with strikes right off and then DiBiase begins to join in. However, he manages to rid of Hennig and DiBiase as Rhodes struggles to his feet. He skips over for Sweet Chin Music, but Rhodes makes a quick decision and jumps out of the ring. He backs up the ramp as Legacy soon joins him. Michaels says he'll be tasting it on Sunday. Commercial BreakSingles MatchUnified Tag Team Champion Kurt Angle w/Triple H and Vince McMahon vs Tyson Kidd w/David Hart Smith, Natalya, and Bret Hart The bell rings as Kidd quickly takes Angle down with some hard dropkicks over and over again. Angle catches him at one point though with a belly to belly suplex. He takes control with his technical and amateur technique on the mat. Kidd fights back though with his agility and youth, even hitting The Code Blue, but not able to get the pinfall. Angle also hits the Angle Slam but no pinfall. Angle gets cocky and is suddenly rolled up for the 3. Winner of the match: Tyson Kidd (9:17) *** Kidd gets out of the ring as Triple H is coming right after him. Everybody, even The Hart Dynasty, are in shock of the win. Especially Kurt Angle, who is also furious at the same time. Him and Hunter begin to argue as they may only end up as the Unified Tag Team Champions for a short time come this Sunday as Kidd just proved they actually do stand a chance unlike what happened at Night Of Champions in the surprise. Commercial BreakReturning, The Miz makes his way down to the ring. He walks around a bit before saying that last week he was told by Teddy Long he wasn't going to be getting a rematch next week. He says that he was told that he wouldn't be getting another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship that he had lost unfairly in a Championship Scramble match! Then on top of that he had to face Ted DiBiase and clearly he doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as him. The crowd boo Miz's words as he talks about getting himself disqualified last week because he doesn't need to be up against the likes of Ted DiBiase - a guy who can win the Royal Rumble but not get the World Heavyweight Championship unlike himself. He demands Teddy Long come out here right now and give him his rightful shot at the World Heavyweight Championship! No response and he demands it again. However, Ted DiBiase answers by making his way down to the ring. Miz says he didn't ask for garbage like him, to which DiBiase laughs. He takes a mic of his own and says that last week it really got to him that The Miz is truly a coward. He says he always knew it, but he never actually saw it in front of his own eyes. He claims that Miz is afraid of competition. He says that Miz can't beat anybody fair and square and when things get too tough he just gives up. Miz says he can beat anybody - absolutely anybody! Including Ted. With that, Ted recommends they face this Sunday at Hell In A Cell. The crowd cheer to the idea of it as Miz laughs. He says that he may know he can beat Ted, but he doesn't need to prove it to these idiots of the WWE universe. Ted says that's very much true, but he won't be proving it to him either. Miz looks around and suddenly kicks DiBiase in the gut, going around him and delivering the Skull Crushing Finale. He picks the microphone up again and gets down on one knee and says right in Ted's ear, "you're on". He slips out of the ring and makes his way up the ramp with a grin as DiBiase stirs angrily. Commercial BreakSingles MatchKaval vs Matt Hardy As soon as the bell rings, Hardy begins to beat down Kaval in the corner. He shows ultimate aggression but gets pulled away by the referee each time he picks up the cheap momentum. As he goes for the Twist of Fate, he is shoved off to the ropes and met with a dropkick. The martial arts use of Kaval begins to work as Hardy can't manage to keep up with him. However, the Warrior's Way is missed and Hardy gets up to hit the Twist of Fate and get the pin. Winner of the match: Matt Hardy (6:55) **1/2 Hardy stares out to the crowd without celebration and takes a mic. He asks if that's what they want to see from him. He gets lots of boos and says that's too damn bad because he's going to do whatever it takes to prove himself and not stay in the shadows, in the deep and dark abyss, in the shallow waters of his brother. He says it's time for The Angelic Diablo and absolutely nobody else. He throws the mic down and exits the ring. Commercial BreakA promo video plays for the Raw debut of Kenny Omega next week. Diva's ChampionshipGail Kim vs Michelle McCool© w/Layla The bell rings and McCool takes Kim down early. She gets a few shots in on her before being pushed over and getting beaten down herself. Kim gets the upper hand for a while and gets a couple nearfalls, making McCool angry, who begins to use some cheap tactics along with Layla getting some interference the referee doesn't see. After some momentum from Kim, Layla trips her so McCool can hit the Faith Breaker right after and get the pin. Winner and still Diva's Champion: Michelle McCool (5:58) **1/4 McCool begins to celebrate her victory by jumping up and down as if she did it cleanly. Layla soon joins her, awarding her partner the Diva's Championship. She also has a microphone and congratulates McCool on winning and once again proving Laycool are the greatest diva's ever in the WWE. McCool takes the mic and laughs, saying sorry to correct Layla, but they are simply the only great diva's ever in the WWE. They step out of the ring laughing. Commercial BreakReturning, Ranjin Singh is standing in the ring. He has a mic and says that ever since ECW came to an end, he has been left to find a new client here in the WWE. He says after weeks of search he has finally found somebody. Somebody that can easily prove themselves unlike his previous client, The Great Khali, who subsequently "left the WWE". He introduces none other then Ezekiel Jackson, who comes down to the ring. Singh says that this is a man of pure domination, a man who has already risen to the level of John Cena by being a part of the Night Of Champions main event. He says with him as his manager, it'll be even easier to dominate through everybody and get that World Heavyweight Championship! He hands the mic over to Zeke, who says that he wasn't given a fair shot at Night Of Champions and now he is going to come here each and every week dominating and being one step closer and closer to the World Championship. Singh takes the microphone back and says if you're not down with that, Zeke has two words for ya! He puts the mic to Zeke's lips and he says, "too bad" as the crowd boo the reference of D-Generation X. Zeke and Singh exit the ring. Cutting to a hall in the back, John Cena is shown making his way to the ring. Commercial BreakTag Team MatchJohn Cena and John Morrison vs Chris Jericho and World Heavyweight Champion Batista The bell rings as Morrison starts off with Jericho. Y2J starts with the upper hand, getting some cheap momentum in and working him in the corner. He takes him down a few times as well and uses some technical skill. However, he misses his first lionsault attempt as Morrison manages to put his feet up. He makes the tag to Cena, who comes in and hits his shoulder block to Jericho and strikes at Batista. He then tosses Jericho over the top rope. Commercial BreakReturning, Batista has Morrison in the corner as he delivers shoulder thrusts. Highlights from the commercial are shown as Morrison is working on Jericho up until Batista makes a blind tag and spears Morrison out of nowhere. Back to the live action, Batista controls with his power for a couple minutes and sets up for the Batista Bomb. However, Cena comes into the ring and delivers a shoulder block to send him to the mat. Jericho comes in and he works Cena and a full out brawl begins. Cena and Morrison get the upper hand up until Cena is clotheslined out and Morrison is hit with the Batista Bomb and is pinned. Winners of the match: Batista and Chris Jericho (11:52) ***1/4 Batista begins to celebrate the victory as Jericho gets in the ring and applies the Walls of Jericho to Morrison slowly with a grin. As Batista watches on, Cena trips him up from the outside and pulls him out. He enters the ring and takes down Jericho to save Morrison. However, he gets too caught up in beating down on him and Batista comes from behind and kicks him in the head. He pulls him up and delivers a spinebuster. Jericho then moves in on working on Morrison. A codebreaker is hit well Cena is dropped with the Batista Bomb. The World Heavyweight Champion and Jericho stand tall over their rivals, whom they face respectively this Sunday as Raw comes to an end.

-Great way to open the show with Batista/Cena. Can't wait for their match at HIAC. -Barrett going over Benjamin is a nice way to get him over as Champ. Truth attacking Benjamin sets up a feud. -Michaels going over Hennig is the best call. Michaels standing tall is good as well. -Kidd going over Angle is unexpected. Their tag match at HIAC should be nice. -Good promo with Miz/DiBiase. Their match at HIAC should be good as well. -Hardy going over Kaval is good. -McCool retaining her title is a good call. -Surprised that Singh is now Zeke's manager. Their combination should be good. -Tista and Jericho going over Morrison and Cena is a great call. The heels standing tall is good. Overall, nice RAW. Can't wait till HIAC.

WWE RAW: Monday 27th September 2010...Good opening promo to kick off the final RAW prior to Hell in a Cell. John Cena in the ring is good; decent promo there with him interrupted by Batista predictably. Wish we could've seen some Hell in a Cell cage involvement in the hype to the pay-per-view like last year; now that was something. Wade Barrett beating Shelton Benjamin served as a healthy surprise, but wow R-Truth with the heel turn is shocking. Glad though, as you know, R-Truth's character could now be so much better and more interesting. Shawn Michaels in this spot on the card? Nice try against HBK for Brett Dibiase; first-hour main event worthy this in my mind. Next, bad decision for Tyson Kidd to go over Kurt Angle; a more likely decision would have been DH Smith over Angle, honestly. Kidd is far too small to make this look convincing. Even with a rollup. The Miz and Ted Dibiase's promo was not exactly something I'd be too interested in, but good showing anyway. Matt Hardy with the win was a shocker, glad he beat Kaval though, as it shows Kaval isn't just a one-dimensional character that wins matches despite being small. A promo video for Kenny Omega? Meh, he was only on ECW three weeks ago. Ezekiel Jackson's promo was good, but again with emphasis on promos; seems to be plenty of them tonight. Good that Ranjin Singh is the man taking in clients though. Lastly, solid but generic tag team main event scenario, piecing two rivalries together. Good match though, Batista and Chris Jericho beating John Cena and John Morrison is fine; a good show, but average and typical icebreaker before Hell in a Cell.

-Good promo for RAW. Mainly to hype the Cena/Batista match at Hell in a Cell. -Barrett over Benjamin is solid since he's the new IC Champion. -Shawn over Ted is also some pretty nice hype for Michaels/Rhodes at Hell in a Cell. -Kidd over Angle is a huge shocker. But it's great since they probably won't win the titles back at HIAC. -Ted/Miz is a nice way to get them both on the card. Should be nice to see who wins. -Nice to see Matt win here. Him over Kaval is pretty cool. -Zeke's promo was great. Nice to build him up and that should be a nice matchup. -Batista and Jericho over Cena and Morrison should be an interesting call none the less. Cena needed the momentum just in case he loses at HIAC. But this may mean good things. -Good show; looking forward to seeing where you go from here.

Raw, I see John Cena taking the Championship from Batista at Hell in a Cell, and tbh, I hope he does. Pleased to see Wade Barrett defeat Shelton Benjamin here, but I think R-Truth needs to gtfo of the Intercontinental Championship picture, tbh. An R-Truth heel turn is interesting, but I really can't imagine it working whatsoever. I'm glad Shawn Michaels won, and him versus Cody Rhodes should be good, as long as Rhodes wins, as it could really boost his career. I was shocked to see Tyson Kidd defeat Kurt Angle. I could actually see The Hart Dynasty regaining the Tag Team Championships, and it would be brilliant if you went for an Angle/HHH feud later on. I love this Miz/DiBiase feud, I can really see it in my head. Hate that you put Matt Hardy for Kaval, mainly because I hate Matt Hardy in general. Michelle McCool retaining the Divas Championship makes sense on Raw, but I do hope to see Kim as Champion some time soon. Ranjin Singh as Ezekiel Jackson's mouthpiece is excellent. Hope to see Jackson pushed to the moon. Batista and Chris Jericho with the victory convinces me more that Cena will take the Championship this Sunday. Great ending with the heels standing tall, but in both matches, I hope to see the faces on top. Good show.

l SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2010 l FORD CENTER: OKLAHOMA CITY: OKLAHOMA l "A Lesson In Revenge"
The opening pyros hit as Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcome everybody to the show. The camera pans around the stage and ring as it shows an obstacle coarse. Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von are standing on the stage as Striker thanks everybody for being here on this pivotal edition of NXT. He explains that tonight, an immunity challenge will take place as the winner will be immune from elimination next week. He calls all the Rookie's to the stage and once there, he explains what will be happening in this immunity challenge. He says that they will have to do this obstacle course where they will go through a set of tires, then jump three barriers that raise in size each time, do ten push ups at the designated area, walk a balance beam, then push an equipment box across the line at the top of the stage. He states that failure to stay on the course will make them have to go back and start over that section. Rookie | Time (Seconds) | Alex Riley | 30.7 | Darren Young | 31.1 | David Otunga | 41.8 | Heath Slater | 31.5 | Johnny Curtis | 32.4 | Percy Watson | 34.0 | Richie Steamboat | 30.2 | Skip Sheffield | 44.5 |
Riley and Swagger are immediately pissed off with the times. They begin to yell at Striker, Riley claiming that Richie cheated! Striker says that he clearly did not as the clock doesn't lie. He tries to congratulate Steamboat on winning, but Riley snatches the mic away. He looks to Swagger, who approves of him speaking. He points to Steamboat and says that he wants to face him tonight and he wants that immunity on the line. Steamboat asks what he wants with the immunity when he's so proud to be himself and he'll surely be safe. Riley tells him not to mock him ever again and explains that he may be safe next week with his "expertise", but he doesn't want a wannabe rip-off of his own father like Richie in this competition. He gets slapped, and all the rookies and pros have to pull them apart from each other. Commercial BreakSingles MatchDarren Young w/Shelton Benjamin vs Johnny Curtis w/The Miz The bell rings and the two lock up. Curtis gets a bit too cocky, so Young is able to take advantage with his agility. He hits a few dropkicks and has total control until he misses a clothesline. Curtis hits a huge neckbreaker and goes onward with his momentum, dominating Young. However, once he gets too cocky again, Young begins to garner control once more. However, Miz trips him at one point so Curtis manages to roll him up for the pin. Winner of the match: Johnny Curtis (7:33) **1/4 Curtis and Miz celebrate in the ring as Benjamin seems unimpressed. He gets into the ring and shoves Miz, who shoves him back. As Benjamin gets up in his face, however, Curtis blindsides him with a clothesline. A beat down begins until Young comes to the aid of his pro, causing Miz and Curtis to get right out of the ring and make their way up the ramp as fast as they can, as they obviously don't want to deal with anymore. Commercial BreakReturning, a promo for Hell In A Cell this Sunday plays. Triple Threat MatchDavid Otunga w/MVP vs Heath Slater w/John Morrison vs Percy Watson w/Zack Ryder The bell rings and all three men get into a scuffle. Watson picks up early control by taking out Otunga then working Slater. They trade momentum for a minute or so up until Otunga comes back into the ring and clotheslines both men to the mat. He even hits the Verdict on Slater, and only gets a two count as Watson breaks the pin. They go at it until Slater jumps in. Otunga is taken out, and Watson hits the Float Over DDT on Slater quickly and gets the pin. Winner of the match: Percy Watson (6:57) **3/4 Watson celebrates his victory, and Otunga is pissed off. He gets in the ring and gets right up in Watson's face. They exchange some words and Slater gets back in the ring. He begins to get involved and Otunga pushes him away. Watson doesn't like that, and begins to trade shots with him. A two-on-one begins on Otunga until he is clotheslined by both men over the top rope. Watson and Slater celebrate with each other for taking care of him. Commercial BreakSingles MatchAlex Riley w/Jack Swagger vs Richie Steamboat w/Chris Jericho The bell sounds as Steamboat comes storming out with multiple dropkicks that knock Riley down multiple times. Well picking up momentum, he taunts to the crowd, and Riley manages to take advantage with his power. He goes for the You're Dismissed after a couple minutes, but Steamboat manages to reverse it and place his feet on the ropes in the corner. He drops to the apron and trades shots with Riley. However, he is yanked back into the ring and overpowered with a couple minutes. The You're Dismissed is hit, but Steamboat manages to kick out. After a few near falls in the next few minutes, Riley gets very angry. He pulls Steamboat up and goes for the You're Dismissed again, and due to the time, Steamboat manages to drop and roll him up for the three. Winner of the match: Richie Steamboat (10:13) *** Following the match, Steamboat begins to celebrate wildly. Steamboat gets out of the ring and continues to taunt to the crowd out of joy. Jericho storms up at him and says that isn't how you win a match. After yelling a bit, Steamboat just laughs at him and walks off. Commercial BreakReturning, all eight pros and all eight rookies are standing on a side of the ring each with Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von in the middle. Striker says that this episode has definitely shown quite a bit for the elimination next week. He explains once again that it will be a ranking order due to the pro's votes. He says that since Richie won the immunity tonight, if he ends up with #8 next week - which could happen to him or anybody else - the #7 rank will be eliminated! He moves onward to talk about last week, talking about how the rookies showed their pro's something about standing up for yourself. He says that was a gutsy move, and goes on to ask Skip about it. Sheffield states that he doesn't really care what the pro's think of him or anybody else, they are here to take their spots in the future of the WWE - "Yep, yep, yep". Striker then asks Curtis, who says that he is the best in this competition, and he would never lay a hand on his pro, The Miz, and he didn't last week. He says that he doesn't care about any of the others though because they aren't awesome like them. He laughs a bit. He moves over to the other side and asks John Morrison what he thinks of the rookies' statement last week. Morrison responds by saying he was surprised and proud of them for standing up for themselves last week. However, he doesn't think they chose the right people to do it to. He says that they all talked - put their differences aside for the time being - and decided to show a lesson in revenge! With that, all the pro's go at attacking the rookies. They try to fight back, but they were caught off guard, so they are on the receiving end of what they did last week. All of them are eventually tossed out of the ring except for Steamboat. Jericho steps up to him as he begins to stir, and slaps him across the face. He rushes off to the ropes, and comes back to deliver the codebreaker. The pro's stand tall as NXT comes to a close.

-Nice improvement for Steamboat winning the Obstacle Course. Riley/Steamboat feud could be nice. -Curtis over Young is a decent start to NXT. Curtis over is good. -Watson over Otunga was good as I don't really see Otunga as NXT star. He looks like he could be a movie star or so. -I got my wish! Steamboat over Riley is a great end between the two with the best chance of winning. -Jericho standing tall to NXT over Steamboat who has immunity is cool. I see Young eliminated most likely. -Good show; looking forward to elimination.

NXT (OMGZ, I KNOW!!1), glad that Richie Steamboat wins the obstacle course, as you know, I'm totally rooting for him to win. Pleased to see Johnny Curtis over Darren Young as I prefer Curtis. So glad to see Percy Watson with a victory - OH YEAH! Pleased to see a victory for Steamboat, and I love that Jericho says "That's not how you win". A good finish to the show with the Pros beating down the Rookies. I look forward to reading more.

-Nice to see Steamboat as the winner of the obstacle, and his main event match with Riley looks like it will be good -Not a fan of the first match as I don't think Young or Curtis can make it in the WWE. I just don't see anything in any of them and I hope they're the first two to go home -Watson winning is good and the post match stuff was solid. I kind of wish that Otunga would've been the more dominant attacker considering he's the heel -Very good main event, glad Steamboat won. He's one of the three guys I see winning this along with Riley & Watson -Glad Steamboat won't be getting eliminated next week and I like the ideas of the Pros beating on the Rookies
Good episode of nXt and as I read the final card for Hell in a Cell, it looks like a good show. Although I feel Batista/Cena is overdone, I love Rhodes/HBK, RVD/Sheamus & Christian/Del Rio

WWE NXT: Tuesday 28th September 2010...Decent way to kick off with Matt Striker initiating the NXT Rookies to the Obstacle Course. Alex Riley as second to fastest is a little weird to me; he seems like as a cocky participant as though he wouldn't do as well as Heath Slater, Johnny Curtis and Percy Watson. Glad Richie Steamboat would the challenge though. No surprise about Skip Sheffield being last, wish there wasn't so much a gap though. With these challenges though, I do wish that we wouldn't see everybody complete it; one disqualification at least in the challenges would be nice. Johnny Curtis overthrowing Darren Young is nice; an athletic start to the show and the better man won in my mind. Percy Watson beating David Otunga is good, but really hoping Otunga is the first man eliminated from the competition. He seems most inferior. Lastly, good main event with Richie Steamboat facing his runner up, Alex Riley. A good episode, intrigued with the elimination next week: hoping that it is either David Otunga, Heath Slater or Skip Sheffield...out of which I hope Sheffield remains.

l SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2010 l FORD CENTER: OKLAHOMA CITY, OK l "Marching Towards Hell"
The opening pyros hit and we get introductions from Paul Heyman and Jim Ross. The camera shows a display of the cell for this Sunday, and that is put over as it will be used in just three days! In the ring, Tony Chimel introduces Ricardo Rodriguez. He speaks a bit of Spanish in introduction form, before finally saying the name, and Alberto Del Rio makes his way out in his limousine. He gets out to boos from the crowd, and eventually makes his way down to the ring. He gets on the mic and says that last week it was the moment everybody waited for - the debut of Alberto Del Rio! The crowd boo him once again, to which he responds by acting as if they do appreciate him. He says that he is now the #1 contender for the WWE Championship - after one show? He gloats about himself a bit saying that nobody ever has or ever will meet the standards of Alberto Del Rio when it comes to being a very big deal as soon as they debut. He promises that this Sunday, Christian will be whining like a husband who has just had his wife leave him. He says that the WWE Championship will be like the wife, and he is the better man. He snickers a bit before Christian makes his way out to the ramp. He has a mic in his hand and says that he has heard enough of (well mimicking his accent) Alberto Del Rio. He says he talked to Abraham Washington, and he has gotten a match set up tonight for Alberto just to get him warmed up for this Sunday. Christian explains that he can't compete tonight because of the damage he did to his arm last week. Alberto laughs at the fact he injured him. Christian continues on saying that the man he is facing has been a good friend of his for a long time, and his name is Rob! Van! Dam! With that, RVD comes into the ring behind Del Rio and hits a few shots from behind. After a few kicks, Del Rio flees from the ring and makes his way halfway up the ramp as he looks back and forth to his opponent for tonight, and opponent for Sunday. Commercial BreakSingles MatchMontel Vontavious Porter vs Evan Bourne The bell rings as these two are finally getting their hands on each other one-on-one. Bourne hits a few hard shots to take the early momentum, and goes onward with some flips to take MVP down multiple times. He even gets embarrassed a few times, and MVP gets fed up easily and starts to use some dirty tactics. The referee pulls him away a few times within the time, and once MVP starts arguing, Bourne rolls him up for the three count. Winner of the match: Evan Bourne (6:44) **3/4 Bourne gets out of the ring and is given his Money In The Bank briefcase. MVP is furious and he begins to kick the ropes viciously. He demands Bourne back to the ring, but he doesn't. All Bourne does is back up the ramp, flaunting the briefcase as that's what MVP wants. Cutting backstage, Todd Grisham is standing by with Bryan Danielson. He asks what his thoughts are on facing Kofi Kingston in a non-title rematch from two weeks ago. Danielson laughs a bit and says he doesn't need to answer to Todd, he doesn't need to answer to the WWE Universe, but he will answer just because he deserves to speak. Getting some background heat, he simply says tonight Kofi Kingston will either tap... or snap. Commercial BreakNon-Title MatchKofi Kingston vs United States Champion Bryan Danielson The bell rings and both men lock up. Kingston gets the upper hand early on, hitting some sharp kicks and showing off his amazing athleticism. Danielson avoids the Trouble In Paradise, however, and takes Kingston to the mat. For a couple minutes, he keeps him grounded with multiple submission holds. As Danielson begins to get cocky, a misty image on the titantron comes up. Danielson brushes it off and turns to the Trouble In Paradise, and is pinned. Winner of the match: Kofi Kingston (7:30) *** Kingston begins to celebrate his victory, and exits the ring. He makes his way up the ramp as Danielson gets up angry. He demands a mic and says that he is sick of the little games. The phone call last week, and now this titantron message? He says that he wants answers, no, he demands answers next week on Smackdown. He says if he doesn't, he'll just have to find out himself what it is! He slams the mic down and storms off. Commercial BreakSingles MatchDavid Hart Smith w/Tyson Kidd and Natalya vs Unified Tag Team Champion Triple H w/Kurt Angle and Vince McMahon The bell rings and Smith unloads with shots to HHH. He whips him off to the ropes and powers him down with a clothesline. He uses his strength for a few minutes, but the veteran skill of Hunter allows him to pull off on a powerslam and hit some shots of his own. He delivers some of his signature moves and sets up for the Pedigree after a while, only to be tossed over. As Smith begins to get momentum, he hits the running powerslam but only gets a two count on the pin attempt. Due to the frustration, he wastes some time, and Hunter is able to hit a Pedigree out of nowhere and pin him for the 3. Winner of the match: Triple H (9:24) *** Angle soon joins Hunter in the ring as Kidd comes in to check on Smith. As he is doing so, Angle puts him in an ankle lock. Kidd yells out in pain, trying to find a way to get free. Meanwhile, Hunter locks in the figured four on Smith and they both begin to tap out. After they let go, the Unified Tag Team Champions are joined by McMahon, who raises their arms and says they'll still be the champions this Sunday - he guaran-damn-tees it. Commercial BreakReturning, CM Punk and the Straight Edge Society come down to the ring. Mercury yells at the crowd to be quiet, their and 'your' savior wants to speak. Once the crowd doesn't simmer, Cross then yells at them to shut up. Punk takes the mic from him and says it's quite alright - if these people don't want to listen to him it's their own fault for becoming the failures they truly are. Getting some heat, Punk reminds everybody that he will not be in action this Sunday at Hell In A Cell. As they cheer, he just shakes his head and says they should be really upset about that because in all honesty, he should be their WWE Champion. He says there is a dilemma for himself though as he must deal with Kane. He says that Kane is probably just upset that his face got all deformed with his probable drug history. He laughs at the 'joke', and says that he is clearly much better than him just like he is all of the WWE Universe. He states he shouldn't have to deal with the "Big Red Machine", and he should be going to bigger and better places. Kane has heard enough, and he makes his way to the ring. The Straight Edge Society stand in front of Punk, who tells him to get away. Kane takes a mic and laughs a bit, asking Punk if he really thinks that he got this disformation on his face because of drugs. He says that he got this from pain! He shouts it is not even equivalent of the pain he is going to cause him, though. He laughs a bit more and the SES cheap shot him. Cross and Mercury back him into the corner, which allows Punk to come up and hit some cheap shots. They eventually bring Kane to the mat and begin to stomp him down. The SES pull him back up and aid him on Punk's shoulders, to which he delivers the GTS. They exit the ring and make their way up the ramp with grins, but as they turn back to the ring, Kane sits up. The SES quickly flee backstage. Commercial BreakSix-Man Tag Team MatchThe Colón's and Justin Gabriel vs Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler, and Jack Swagger The bell sounds as Carlito kicks things off with Ziggler. They trade some shots and Ziggler soon picks up control. After a couple minutes, he begins frequent tags with Swagger. Carlito fights back once McIntyre is in though, and tags in Primo, who gets some nice offense in. McIntyre, however, ducks a shot and is able to take control with a boot to the head. Gabriel and Ziggler simultaneously make blind tags, and Gabriel is blindsided with the Zig Zag and is pinned. Winners of the match: Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, and Jack Swagger (8:01) **1/2 The heels celebrate their victory by raising each others arms up, all having grins across their face. Commercial BreakSingles MatchApril Lee vs Maryse As soon as the bell rings, Maryse unloads with some cheap shots. She shows her heel side extremely in the opening minutes, but Lee fights back hard. She hits a few suplexes, with Maryse fighting back with every chance she gets, but ultimately controlled more by her former protege. Lee gets a couple near falls, and Maryse gets a cheap shot in on her and begins to take control. She fails to hit the French Kiss, though, and is hit with the Shining Wizard and is pinned. Winner of the match: April Lee (6:23) ** Lee begins to jump up and down with joy for her victory. However, Maryse gets up behind her and throws her face down to the mat. She begins a beat down, but Beth Phoenix comes running down to the ring for the save. She kicks Maryse off and begins to mount her and beat her down. Women's Champion Melina then comes to the ring and hits her over the back of the head with the title. Lee comes running and gets Maryse and Melina to flee up the ramp. Commercial BreakReturning, Zack Ryder is in Abraham Washington's office. He tells him to check this out, 'bro', he has an idea. He says next week on Smackdown - a battle royal with the winner becoming the new #1 contender to the WWE Championship! He offers a high five to Washington, who was seeming annoyed, now pondering the idea. He says that actually isn't a bad idea at all, and it could result in yet another new contender much like Alberto Del Rio. He says he'll do that, and he promises Zack a spot in it. He walks off as Ryder looks around with his hand still up for the high five. He shouts, "Bro, you serious?" Cutting to Todd Grisham, he introduces his guest at this time to be Sheamus. He asks what he thinks of facing Rob Van Dam this Sunday. Sheamus laughs and says that when RVD came back and cost him the WWE Championship at Night Of Champions, he thought he was an idiot. Then last week he proved to be a full fledged moron by challenging him to a match at Hell In A Cell - and he promises it will be the worst decision of RVD's life to have challenged him. Commercial BreakSingles MatchRob Van Dam vs Alberto Del Rio The bell rings and RVD immediately throws some kicks. One gets caught though and he is dropped to the mat. Del Rio shows some impressive technical ability and hits some suplexes every time RVD manages to get back up. RVD fights back after a few minutes of being controlled and delivers the Rolling Thunder once taking Del Rio down. He goes for the Five Star Frog Splash, but Del Rio manages to roll out of the way. He gets right up and goes for the armbar, but RVD is near the ropes and gets his feet on them. Once up again, he ducks a big boot from Del Rio and the referee is taken out. RVD then hits a stunning kick to the jaw that sends Del Rio to the outside. As he tries to wake the ref, Sheamus comes rushing to the ring and hits the Bicycle Kick! He gets out of the ring and throws Del Rio back in, who hooks both legs. The referee stirs and slowly counts the three. Winner of the match: Alberto Del Rio (10:43) ***1/4 Del Rio slowly rises in realization of what is going on. Sheamus pulls RVD out of the ring and sets him up for the Celtic Cross, but Christian comes running down to the ring. He fires off with shots to Sheamus, and Del Rio gets out of the ring. Each man faces their respected rival now, as Christian and RVD duck a shot each and throw some shots. Sheamus and Del Rio go running off and Christian tends to his bad arm. Sheamus and Del Rio vow victory Sunday. Commercial BreakWe return and the cell begins to lower, the crowd cheering for it. Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring and gets in, getting a mic. He then allows the cell to lower around him. He looks to the cheering crowd and speaks, saying that this Sunday he steps into this structure against Edge. He says that ever since the Smackdown after Summerslam they have been having complications with each other and this Sunday he wants to make sure that Edge doesn't go out walking with his head high. He steps out of the ring and begins to run his hands along the steel structure, and says that he also believes Edge is afraid to step in here with him. He steps back in the ring slowly and offers Edge to come on out here and get inside the cell with him, telling him to show that the Rated R Superstar can handle it. After a while, Edge comes out to the ramp with a mic in his hand, but doesn't walk any further. He begins to ask Randy if he is serious, if he really thinks he is afraid to step inside the cell with him. Orton says he doesn't know for sure but he'd like to find out tonight rather than Sunday. The crowd pop, and Edge says that he doesn't need to prove himself, and they now boo. He tells everybody to shut up and the arena begins to break out into a, "You're afraid" chant. Edge gets fed up with it quickly and begins to storm down to the cell, to which Orton smiles about. Edge looks at the door and pushes it open with force. He steps inside and goes into the ring. He asks if Orton is happy now that he is in this 'stupid' cell. Orton just smiles and Edge tells him to say something, but not getting a response. He slaps Orton across the face, and after a moment, the Viper strikes. They trade some shots up until Orton tosses Edge to the outside. He follows, only to get thrown face first into the cell. Orton stumbles a bit and Edge gets out of the cell. Orton comes right after him, and Edge begins to scurry up to the top of the cell. The crowd continue to cheer wildly, and Orton begins to follow Edge. Once the Rated R Superstar reaches the top, he thinks he is safe. However, he notices Orton getting up behind him and he waits for him to rise. He goes rushing at Orton, who avoids him, and he just barely manages to stay on top of the cell. Orton then awaits as Edge backs up and turns around straight into the RKO! Orton then stands up over him in the middle of the cell roof. He taunts to the cheering crowd as Smackdown comes to a close.

-Good promo basically promoting Del Rio/Christian. Del Rio/Van Dam should be good. -Bourne over MVP is fine either way. -Kofi over Bryan is fine. Nice NOC rematch. Hope he gets a rematch after that. -HHH over Smith was a decent first hour main event. HHH winning is cool. -Solid promo between Kane and Punk. I think it's happened too much though and Kane needs to move on to main event status. -McIntyre, Ziggler, and Swagger make a great team so them winning sounds cool. -Lee over Maryse is fine. -Del Rio over RVD was decent hype for his WWE Championship Match this Sunday. -Great promo to end the show with Edge and Orton, hyping their HIAC Match. Orton standing tall is good. -Good show; can't wait for HIAC.
