I know you're probably pissed that I'm replying to Smackdown but it happens to fall on the times that I'm free. ROMAN REIGNS, THE GUY WITH THE BIGGEST PECS! Fun little opening promo. Reigns/Lesnar should be interesting for sure. I can't believe it took Roman nearly four minutes to beat Bo Dallas. Hey, I think I know someone who has eventual plans for Adrian Neville/Miz. Maybe. Neville and Tyson Kidd have really good chemistry. Glad he gets to show off against Kidd here. Wise booking. I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but melting the trophy into the medal is pretty great. Kane is a good guy to put Rusev over. Obvious win for Antonio Cesaro. I wonder what he's doing at SummerSlam. AJ over Layla is fine. While I didn't reply to Raw, I read it and the wedding segment was fun. I liked that Paige and AJ were showcased in a segment like that. The Cody Rhodes stuff continues to be intriguing. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose always have good matches, so good main event choice there. I really dig the Intercontinental and United States Titles getting main event shine on Smackdown is excellently done. I really liked this episode of Smackdown.

AUGUST 4, 2014 FROM THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER IN AUSTIN, TEXAS
The Monday Night Raw opening video airs and in to the Frank Erwin Center from Austin, Texas pans the cameras. Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield give the welcoming on commentary, just thirteen nights away from Summerslam! Tonight, we will have a main event featuring the WWE Champion Bryan Danielson against Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family. Also, we are expected to hear from Roman Reigns as he plans to call out Brock Lesnar! Plus, both the United States and Diva's Championships will be on the line here tonight!
The entrance music of The Purge hits to open on Raw here tonight as shortly thereafter, it is the leader Kevin Owens arriving atop the stage with WWE Tag Team Champions, Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe, coming through the crowd. The trio come in to the ring together and all stand still in the middle of it, Owens holding a microphone in his hand. "Four months ago... four very, very short months ago this trio standing in this ring came down in to it with a mission. The mission being we join forces... get to the top... stay on top... and take out anybody in our way in getting to the top." Owens says that they have chewed superstars up and spit them out and while some have stayed down like they should have there have been a few that just continue to come back for more. "Honestly, I don't get it! CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho all got taken down by The Purge but they joined forces and just like a fairy tale they thought they got their happy ending by beating us at Battleground: King of the Ring!" Owens laughs but quickly turns serious, leaning across the ropes. He says that there aren't any happy endings when you have a giant target painted on your back by himself, Crowe and Zayn. "Punk, at Summerslam... you've got me in No Holds Barred... and sooner or later you're going to have to accept the fact that you, my friend, are no longer the best in the world... Kevin Owens is." The crowd boos as Zayn takes the mike from Owens, patting his best friend on the back as he comes forward. "On Raw two weeks ago, Chris Jericho was taken out by us and now rumor has it he might never even get a chance to make it back! So last week, after we took care of Alberto Del Rio... we got ourselves another target: Randy Orton." Crowe takes the microphone away as the crowd gives an ovation for the mention of 'The Viper'. He mocks the crowd a bit and says that Orton is just like the rest of them: In the way and in need of being wiped out by The Purge. "You've said it yourself, Randy... you haven't been to the top in quite some time. No point in you wasting ours, theirs or your own time anymore, 'viper'... so you can consider this us doing you a favor."
Before the trio has an opportunity to say anything more, CM Punk's music hits and he arrives through the curtains to a big pop from the WWE Universe! "What a lovely sight it is to see here, boys. Three of the biggest morons I've ever come across opening up Monday Night Raw and having not only the balls, but the audacity, to think you're the best thing since... while, I'd say since sliced bread but I'm pretty sure I've come along since then!" He twirls his microphone in his hand and pats it in to his palm, Owens mockingly laughing before warning Punk that he best watch himself before he gets a taste of whats to come at Summerslam. 'The Best in the World' simply flashes a smile back to his heated rival. "Yeah, Kev. I'm real worried about what is going to happen to me at Summerslam... I mean, I totally didn't ask for that match because I figured you were going to kick my ass. No, see, the thing is that I totally get it... you're an ass kicking machine. No doubt about it! But the fact of the matter is, Kev... this is personal between us. And when you make things personal with the likes of CM Punk, you end up regretting ever doing so!" With the crowd behind Punk and The Purge seeming a bit rattled, Punk takes the opportunity to lay some 'great news' on them. He says that tonight, he has been given the privilege to select one of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Crowe or Zayn, to be his opponent tonight! "And with all due respect to you, Solomon, and damn there isn't much respect to give... I want to take this opportunity to drive it right on home to Kev by beating the crap out of his best friend tonight..." He points at Zayn, whom seems to welcome the challenge. Punk says that he also has some big news regarding Summerslam as well! "During that meeting with Eric Bischoff earlier on... not only did I get that match with you later on, Sami, I also got to find you two a tag team to put your titles on the line against..." He gestures his hand out and 'Voices' hits, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio making their way out to a big pop from the crowd! The two are fired up as the common enemy of Crowe and Zayn for Orton and Del Rio will give them a big opportunity at Summerslam now! With the two sides staring down from the ring and the ramp, Cole says from commentary that things are sure to be intense within the next thirteen days!
United States Championship: Dean Ambrose© (w/AJ Lee) vs Wade Barrett (w/The Commonwealth): The bell sounds, Barrett raking the eyes after an early onslaught from the United States Champion. The leader of The Commonwealth blasts Ambrose with multiple hard shots to the face, fists and boots. He gets really aggressive and has to be pulled by the referee away from the corner at a count of four. Ambrose leaps forward and takes him to the mat with a hard clothesline! He mounts on Barrett and levels him with rapid fists to the head, Barrett getting out of the ring to regroup as a commercial break comes in. After the break, Wade is in control again and he works away at the back of Ambrose on the mat with knees to it. He goes after the neck afterward with a hard headlock. After they both get on to their feet, Barrett sends Ambrose off the ropes and goes for the Winds of Change on the comeback, Ambrose pushing off and hitting a swift kick to the gut! He goes for Dirty Deeds, getting pushed back fast. Barrett hits the Winds of Change as he comes back and it results in a two count on a pin attempt. With Wade frustrated, he begins a beat down. After feeling satisfied with things, he inverts his elbow pad and goes for the Bullhammer Elbow, only for Ambrose to duck and launch Barrett over the ropes and to the feet of The Commonwealth! 'The Lunatic Fringe' hits off the ropes and comes roaring back with a dive through the ropes and in to the entire group! Paige scream from the side and starts to walk towards the wreckage, only to be taken to the floor by AJ Lee! The fans pop as the two women set to go at it later on tonight tear each other apart on the floor. Barrett is rolled back in to the ring by Ambrose but Dean is held back by the leg of McIntyre. Rose runs up and hits him in the face with a brutal forearm! He and Drew smile to each other but don't realize that the referee saw it all! He calls for the bell and the disqualification! United States Champion Dean Ambrose def. Wade Barrett via disqualification to retain in 13:30.
Barrett sits up in disbelief, looking to the official with a bewildered look across his face. "What? What did I do!?" He questions, the referee explaining it and the replay airing on the titantron not long afterward. Barrett is fuming as he get to his feet, kicking the ropes repeatedly! "What is wrong with you!?" He shouts at McIntyre and Rose, throwing his hands on to his head in shock. Meanwhile, Ambrose laughs as he backs up the ramp along with AJ Lee, the two holding their respective United States and Diva's Championship belts over their heads, as we still have AJ Lee versus Paige to come later on, with the prior already being successfully retained tonight.
'Awesome!' is heard after the break, The Miz soon making his arrival to strong boos from the crowd. He struts his way down and in to the ring, demanding a microphone from ringside. After it seems to take a few moments, he yells at ringside for them to do their job better! He rips the mike away from one of the crew members as they approach the ring and smiles to the crowd. "Two weeks ago, you were all blessed with the return of me. You were all so, so excited to see me... to be the presence of a true A-list movie star and I was ready to give back to all of you... all of the little people." He stops himself and says that he was, however, interrupted and further embarrassed by a little man by the name of Adrian Neville. The Frank Erwin Center cheers for the name mention, Miz wagging his finger and shaking his head - saying that their cheers mean nothing, for Neville will be known to them as a failure once he gets through with him tonight. "Then, you can all get over his five minutes of fame... and turn back your attention to the total bona fide movie star. So send out the man that everyone forgot already so I can wipe him off of the face of the Earth... Because I'm The Miz! And III'M AWESOME!" He drops the microphone. The Miz vs Adrian Neville: As soon as the bell rings, Neville wants to get things going but Miz holds him up by playing up pulling off his sunglasses. After he does, he laughs only to get hit by a running dropkick! Neville pops back up and unleashes with a fury of kicks and forearms, being shoved back and having his knee taken out from behind. Miz keeps targeting the knee, refusing to let Neville get back in to the match. He sets up for the Skull Crushing Finale but Adrian drives his elbow in to the gut repeatedly. He runs off the ropes but hobbles on the return, allowing Miz to hit him with a knee lift to the gut followed by the Skull Crushing Finale! He hooks both legs up and feels he has it won, only for 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' to power out just in time! Miz is in disbelief, looking up to the referee and questioning the count! He keeps working away at the legs of Neville quickly, pulling him back on to his feet. He keeps momentum going and sets up for a suplex, only for Adrian to stuff it and land on his feet - stumbling. He ducks a clothesline and hits a rapid fire of spinning kicks. He still hobbles a bit but manages to stay on his feet just enough to leap up and hit a big tornado DDT! Slowly, but surely, Neville crawls his way out to the apron and climbs to the top rope, taking his time before planting Miz with the Red Arrow! The WWE Universe cheers as Neville hooks the legs up for the one, two, three. Adrian Neville def. The Miz in 6:59.Neville slowly staggers on to his feet, reaching down at his knees in pain. He celebrates anyway without much care for his pain as he exits the ring, Miz slowly staggering on to his hands and knees, looking towards Neville. He slaps his hands to the mat in frustration, Adrian smiling back.
The crowd is silent but bursts out with a loud, mixed reaction at the music of John Cena! He comes bursting through from the back, gauging the WWE Universe. After speaking towards the camera a bit, he storms down to the ring and snatches up a microphone from ringside with a smile across his face. "Good to see you too, Corpus Christi." He says to another mixed reaction. He stops himself for a moment and keeps letting the crowd go as they burst back and forth with chants of 'Let's Go Cena!' and 'Cena Sucks!' to his enjoyment. "Now, let's get down to business. Last week right here on Raw we had Antonio Cesaro and Paul Heyman come on down here and talk about how I disrespected Antonio... how I didn't take him as a serious threat during our match at Battleground: King of the Ring and how I think he is just... another guy." Cena raises his eyebrows up and says that sure, Cesaro is just another guy but he knows that he has some talent. "Like Paul Heyman or not, he knows which guys to pick and choose. I mean, just look at Brock Lesnar! Look at Roman Reigns! Look at all of the guys he bore and bread in ECW, making them in to stars! Hey, he got Antonio Cesaro to buck his shoulders, roll up his sleeve and got him to change his attitude in order to become WWE Champion!" Cena nods and throws his hand up, saying that the only problem with all of that is that he isn't a 'Swiss Superman', he's just a 'Swiss Sellout' who needs to have his attitude adjusted yet again! The crowd gives a cheer and Cena tells Cesaro he has an offer for him, so he would appreciate it if he came on out here! Bringing a smile to Cena's face, Antonio Cesaro's music hits and he makes his way out to the stage along with Paul Heyman. They stand atop the stage and for once, don't say anything in return to Cena whom throws his hands up questioning their silence. "Mr. Cena, you asked for us to come out here..." Heyman says with a sigh. "So why don't you stop with the charades and move on to what it is you wanted? Oh, no, hold on just a moment! Let me guess: You want to throw out a bunch of your insults at us... maybe you want to 'offer' me some weight loss pills or 'offer' my client some rogaine? Come on, John. Lay it on us real good!" Cena looks around the arena and says that Heyman took some good jokes, but he has better than that! "But instead of spending my time beating you down with my words, how about I just come up there and beat you down with my fists?" Cesaro takes the mike away from Heyman and steps forward, telling Cena to shut his mouth, telling him that he isn't going to beat him in any way, shape or form. The two stare down from their distance, Cena saying it is funny he says that because his offer involves him beating Cesaro. "Because I'm laying down the offer for you, Antonio Cesaro, to put you in the spotlight and give you the chance to shut me up, prove you belong and prove that you are a viable competitor, viable contender and viable champion here in the WWE because like it or not, jack, I'm at the top! So I'm giving you this chance... this opportunity... to prove all of the doubters wrong and face me at Summerslam!" The Austin crowd approves of the suggestion as Cesaro and Heyman look to one another, talking things over a bit. After they finish consulting, Heyman informs Cena that the challenge is accepted! With the crowd cheering, Cesaro grabs the mike from Heyman and smiles while pointing to the ring. "But a fair warning, John... you're going to hustle harder than ever, you're going to have to stay loyal to yourself and not try and weasel your way around this... and you're going to have to respect me after I beat you." With a grin, he and Heyman make their way to the back while Cena watches on with a glare.
Backstage after the break, Damien Sandow is seen having a conversation with The Miz. After they are done talking, Miz hands Sandow a card and heads off. As Sandow looks at it, up walks a furious Wade Barrett. "Can you believe what happened, Damien? Can you bel-" He stops as he takes notice of the card, pulling it out of Sandow's hands. After looking it over, Barrett stares at Sandow. "What in the bloody hell is this? Miz? What does that buffoon want with you?" Sandow tells Barrett not to worry about it and takes the card back, putting it in to his pocket. He insists that Wade not worry about that and just worry about getting back on track. "I'm going to do you a favor and talk to Eric Bischoff for you, alright?" Barrett nods, telling him he has always been the most loyal of men in The Commonwealth. Aside from himself, of course. Barrett pats Sandow on the shoulder with a smile and heads off, Damien looking down at Miz's card again.
Kane vs Titus O'Neil: Titus talks trash as the bell rings, stepping up to Kane and shoving him. "You don't scare me, big man!" O'Neil says with a laugh. His laughing is stopped short, though, as Kane blasts him with a huge shot to the chin! 'The Big Red Monster' completely dominates, overpowering 'The Real Deal'. After hitting a sidewalk slam and seeming ready to go for the Chokeslam, Rusev and Lana make their way out to the stage. Kane is distracted for a moment and it allows Titus to hit him with a boot to the gut. He misses on a clothesline coming off of the ropes, however, turning right in to the Chokeslam! Kane covers him for the pinfall victory. Kane def. Titus O'Neil in 1:53.
Kane gets back on to his feet, staring up the ramp at Rusev and Lana. He grabs a microphone from ringside and steps to the middle of the ring, taking a few deep breaths. "Rusev... I think you should stop standing up there... staring at me... and come down here... RIGHT! NOW!" He throws the mike to the mat and the fans cheer, Kane motioning for 'The Bulgarian Brute' to get in to the ring. Rusev at first seems like he is going to answer the challenge, only to stop himself and laugh along with Lana, even wagging his finger at Kane. "Not today! Not today!" He shouts in response as the duo make their way to the back, Kane certainly not pleased with Rusev.
A promo video airs for the next upcoming WWE pay-per-view, Summerslam, with the official theme song, "GDFR" by Flo Rida ft. Sage the Gemini. For the twenty-seventh year in a row, WWE hosts the biggest party of the summer and for the sixth consecutive year, it takes place in L.A.! Summerslam takes place on August 17, 2014 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California live on pay-per-view and the WWE Network!
Diva's Championship: AJ Lee© (w/Dean Ambrose) vs Paige (w/The Commonwealth): The match begins, the two women flipping each other to the mat repeatedly back and forth. AJ gets rattled with a shot to the face and Paige takes over, applying multiple mat submission holds. AJ fights back hard, getting on to her feet and nailing a stiff kick to the gut. She goes for the Black Widow, but Paige manages to spin her around and catch her on the shoulders, hitting a hard slam to the mat that results in a near fall. Growing frustrated, Paige gets more vicious and even delivers some headbutts to AJ. She goes for the Ram-Paige but Lee elbows her way free, pushing off the ropes to come back with a crossbody. She rolls right out to the apron and goes to the top rope, hitting another crossbody from there! After a Shining Wizard, AJ goes for the pin but gets yanked from the ring by Wade Barrett! The crowd boos and quickly, Ambrose runs over and clotheslines Barrett to them at! As the rest of The Commonwealth comes at him, he rolls in to the ring to get away but keeps getting followed. He starts to throw fists at each of them as they come in to the ring, AJ even getting a shot in as she blasts Adam Rose with a kick to the face! With all hell breaking loose, the referee is forced to call the match! Diva's Champion AJ Lee vs Paige goes to a No Contest at 7:04.
As the referee fails to obtain order of things, General Manager Eric Bischoff makes his way out from the back in a fury, demanding the madness to stop! "I've had quite enough of this crap... Ambrose, AJ... you've caused way too much destruction on my program the past two weeks! I get it, you're both a little crazy. But you're also representatives of this company as champions... since tonight has gotten so out of hand in both of your title matches, at Summerslam we'll settle this once and for all between The Commonwealth and you two because it will be Dean Ambrose teaming up with AJ Lee... defending the United States and Diva's Championships against Wade Barrett and Paige!" Bischoff heads off to the back with an approval coming from the superstars and fans, Ambrose and AJ exiting the ring together with, oddly, big smiles across their faces.
Following the break, the entrance music of Seth Rollins hits, Mr. Money in the Bank making his way out with a scowl across his face. He marches down and in to the ring, taking a microphone from ringside before stepping in to the middle of the squared circle. "Last week on Smackdown, for those of you who didn't get to see it, I beat Dean Ambrose in the middle of this ring. Yeah, that's right... I beat the United States Champion and he is lucky I don't give a damn about his title right now, even though I deserve it!" He wipes away at his face as the crowd boos, Rollins going on to say after that match, AJ Styles had to stick his nose in his business and he ended up getting hit with a Bullhammer Elbow by Wade Barrett. The fans cheer for Rollins getting his in the face and he shakes his head, telling them all to shut up. "You won't be cheering when I beat AJ Styles at Summerslam and not only keep my Money in the Bank Briefcase, but I take the title I made prestigious again! If it weren't for me, if it weren't for Seth Rollins there would be no AJ Styles because there would be no Intercontinental Championship!" With the Frank Erwin Center jeering, Rollins holds up his Money in the Bank Briefcase, saying that they also will not, although he believes they should, be cheering when he becomes the WWE Champion!
Before Rollins has an opportunity to say anything more, AJ Styles' music hits. Rollins rolls his eyes at the sight of the Intercontinental Champion as he not only makes his way out, but comes down and in to the ring as well. After a brief staredown, Rollins asks Styles what it is he wants. "I just felt like if you were going to come out here and talk about me, Seth, the least I could do is come out here and let you say it to my face!" The WWE Universe cheers 'The Phenomenal' on as he adjusts his title belt over his shoulder, smiling to Rollins, whom backs up to the ropes and leans up against them, shaking his head. "You've got some nerve, Styles! You've got one hell of a nerve interrupting me like this! This is my show! This is my business! And soon enough, that is going to be my Intercontinental Championship and you know it!" Styles is taken aback by the eruption of Rollins at first. He quickly fires back, however, by questioning if Rollins is going to be able to do it on his own or if he'll have to incorporate the help of the General Manager like he did to win Money in the Bank. Seth steps back, laughing at the call out. He goes to speak back but instead sends a kick to the gut of Styles! He follows up by dropping his briefcase across the back of his head! Styles collapses to the mat and Rollins drops his briefcase down. He looks out to the crowd and grows a smile across his face, hitting off the ropes and returning with a brutal Curb Stomp! AJ is completely laid out on the mat afterward, Rollins kneeling down beside him. Slowly, he grasps the Intercontinental Championship belt and gets back on to his feet, holding the title up high along with his Money in the Bank Briefcase! "That sold me right there!" JBL says much to the chagrin of his colleagues as he vows Rollins will be the winner at Summerslam!
Renee Young is standing by backstage with CM Punk, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio. She thanks the trio for their time just before Punk's upcoming match with Sami Zayn, wanting to get some clarification on this new alliance now with Chris Jericho off the shelf. "Numbers, Renee..." Says Punk with a scoff. "The Purge thinks they have them after they took out Chris but the fact of the matter is they don't... because they were dumb enough to try and take out Randy Orton." Punk says that 'The Viper' is not somebody to mess with unless you are ready to get bitten by the venom! He says that he went to war with Orton quite a few times before and while they'll probably never see eye-to-eye and certainly won't be the best of friends or anything, they now have a common enemy. "And the funny thing about a common enemy, Renee," Orton chimes in. "Is that it doesn't matter who you've got on your side... as long as you've got them on your side. Punk and I? We beat the crap out of each other a few years back at Summerslam... now, we're going in to the same event four years later on the same side... and I've got to team up with a guy that took the WWE Championship away from me at WrestleMania 27, Alberto Del Rio." He looks to Del Rio and grins, whom asks if Orton still hasn't let that go. 'The Viper' shrugs his shoulders and says that doesn't matter right now. What matters is they take down The Purge as CM Punk will take down Sami Zayn tonight. The trio heads off for the match together.
CM Punk (w/Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton) vs WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn (w/Kevin Owens and Solomon Crowe): The bell sounds, fast paced back and forth action going between the two to start. Punk goes for an early Go To Sleep, Zayn barely able to slip free. He rolls out of the ring as Punk comes at him again, leading in to a commercial break. After the break, Zayn is in control as he works the shoulder of Punk in multiple stretch holds. As the crowd gets behind Punk, chanting his name, he gets to his feet and breaks away from Sami, rattling him with kick after kick. Following a high knee in to the corner, he goes for the signature bulldog but Zayn shoves him chest first in to the corner! On the turnaround, Zayn lays Punk out with a huge spinout powerbomb that leads to a close two count! The crowd gets much in to the match as both men go back and forth, very hard. Punk avoids the Helluva Kick but turns right in to a leg lariat that results in another near fall. Zayn gets frustrated and after a beat down in the corner, he has to be held back by the official. Owens, meanwhile, takes the opportunity to get a few cheap shots in by cupping Punk's head while against the bottom turnbuckle and blast him! He backs off as the official starts to turn, Orton and Del Rio stepping over towards Owens and Crowe, the four exchanging words with each other! Meanwhile, in the ring, Zayn is distracted by all that is going on with everyone else, allowing Punk to regroup. He gets up behind Sami and smiles, placing his hands to the side of his face. Zayn slowly turns around and gets lifted on to the shoulders, Punk dropping him with the GTS! He hooks both legs up for the one, two, three!
CM Punk def. WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn in 13:32. Punk is quick to get back on to his feet, falling up against the ropes. In to the ring from behind comes Owens, his fingers twitching at the chance. Before he has the opportunity to drop Punk, however, he is hit from the side with a forearm from Orton! Del Rio comes in to the ring and he gets in to the mix as Crowe gets in to the ring. Quickly, The Purge is disposed of and Owens manages to escape from the RKO of Orton just in time, rolling out of the ring along with Crowe and Zayn, the trio surprised as Punk, Orton and Del Rio all stand tall marching around the ring.
The theme music of Roman Reigns hits upon the return, a big mixed reaction coming for him. He makes his way down to the ring, a microphone in his hand. He wags his finger at the stage, laughing a bit. "April 8, 2013... I walked through those curtains along with Paul Heyman for the very first time... and I came in to this ring and I took down John Cena." He takes a few steps around the ring as the crowd cheers the moment from sixteen months ago. "Fast forward to just a few weeks back and Paul was calling me down to this ring... just to sick his beast, Brock Lesnar, on me... I was stabbed in the back. I was hurt. I was lied to. I was deceived... and most importantly I was beaten down by Brock." He looks down to the mat, looking back up after just a few moments, saying that he now has the motivation to walk in to Summerslam, cock his fist back and rattle the cage of 'The Beast Incarnate' and that motivation is to prove Paul Heyman wrong, prove that he isn't the let down he says he is and show that he chose the wrong side. Reigns proceeds to ask Heyman to make his way out and to bring Brock with him!
After waiting a while, Paul Heyman makes his way out to the stage applauding slowly all by himself. With a big grin across his face, Heyman says he is impressed by Roman. "You've really come in to your own, Roman... you've even managed to pick up a microphone on your own! At least you've accomplished something in your, thus far, failure of a career." The WWE Universe gives a loud 'ooh' at the remark, Reigns saying that he damn sure isn't a failure and in thirteen days at Summerslam, he'll understand that. "It's good to have confidence, Roman! But I don't think you understand... you couldn't get the job done against any regular opponent. Couldn't get the job done against any plain old man... how do you expect to walk in to Summerslam and get the job done against 'The Beast Incarnate' BRRRRRRRRRROCKKKKK LESSSNARRRRR!?" Heyman throws his hands up and laughs, saying that he doesn't see it happening and anybody that really thinks Reigns is going to win at Summerslam, they better not get their hopes up because they will be pulled right down when they see Reigns gets destroyed and victimized. Reigns snaps back, telling Heyman to shut his mouth and bring out Lesnar. Heyman adjusts his tie and tells Reigns that he is going to be disappointed because Brock isn't here tonight. The Austin crowd boos, Heyman saying that instead he will give Reigns an opportunity as he promises Lesnar will be in Portland, Oregon next week right here on Raw. "That's right, Roman... just six days before you get the beating of a life time... you'll get your chance to look eye to eye with not just a man, but a beast. A beast that is going to make you never want to step foot in this ring again because you might just end up with PTSD after he is done with you!" Heyman throws his mike to the stage floor, widening his eyes at Reigns before making his way to the back, Reigns left nodding at the strong words of his former manager.
The Usos vs The Rhodes Brothers: The bell rings, Rhodes and Jimmy starting things off. The latter is very aggressive early, still angered by the injury Rhodes caused and the beat down he gave not only last week on Raw, but Smackdown as well. Cody is quick to tag out to Goldust, whom comes in a bit cautioned. He tries to get some momentum going but Jimmy and Jey keep making frequent tags to stay fresh. Jey misses a superkick, however, allowing Goldust to hit him with an atomic drop, followed by a signature drop-shot to the face coming off the ropes. As he starts to get the momentum in his favor, he looks to his brother and smiles as things seem to be going their way for once. He walks over to the corner as Cody raises his hand up for the tag, only to pull back! He drops to the floor and the crowd boos, Goldust looking baffled as he turns right in to a superkick from Jey. He tags in Jimmy and he goes to the top rope, leaping off to deliver the finishing splash, hooking both legs up for the three count. The Usos def. The Rhodes Brothers in 5:45.
The fans boo Rhodes as he stands at the bottom of the ramp, The Usos getting to their feet but not even having a chance to celebrate as they look to Cody with their hands up, questioning what is wrong with him. Rhodes wipes away at his face and slowly comes back in to the ring, apologizing to Jimmy and Jey. "I know... I know..." He says as they pat him on the back, Rhodes suddenly snapping and kicking Jey in the knee! He turns to Jimmy and clobbers him with shots to the face before throwing him shoulder first in to the steel post! Jey gets back up but walks right in to Cross Rhodes! "What in the world has gotten in to Cody Rhodes!?" Shouts Cole from commentary, Cody standing tall as Goldust struggles up in the corner. Rhodes takes a slow look to his brother, shaking his head. He exits the ring with no answers, as it appears the craze of Cody Rhodes from the past couple of months is reaching it's pinnacle.
The signature of The Wyatt Family hits and on the titantron to a loud, mixed reaction from the crowd appears Bray Wyatt from behind his lantern with a cackle. "Thirteen more long, glory filled nights for you Bryan... then this dream of yours will be shattered. For I am here to take all the pain away... lift the pressure from your shoulders and let your monster out of it's cage!" Bray spreads his arm out and smiles, saying that he is not just doing this for himself, he is doing it for Bryan and the whole world. He says that holding that championship is made for the likes of those whom can handle the pressure, something Bryan cannot do. Something The Undertaker could not do at WrestleMania when he ended his 'precious streak'. "Now, Bryan... I END YOU. I END YOUR PRECIOUS RUN AT THE TOP AND I SAVE THESE PEOPLE! I SAVE YOU! I SAVE THE ENTIRE WORLD AND WHILE I AM EVIL, I AM THE NECESSARY EVIL! I AM THE ONE! I AM THE ONE BEHIND TWENTY ONE AND ONE AND I AM THE ONE WHO WILL BE... WWE Champion... at Summerslam... RUN!" He blows the light out as the signature of The Wyatt Family hits again.
WWE Champion Bryan Danielson vs Luke Harper (w/Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan) in a Non-Title Match: The bell rings, the two men circling the ring before locking up. Harper is quick to spin around and hook the waist, slamming Bryan in to the corner chest first. After a few more slams in to the turnbuckles, he goes for a German Suplex only for Danielson to land on his feet! He runs up to Harper and blasts him with a dropkick that smacks him in to the corner. The WWE Champion hits multiple dropkicks, getting all fired up only to be stifled with a big boot! As Harper tries to re-compose himself, a commercial break comes in the middle of the match. Luke is in control of the match after the time away, being very aggressive with Danielson per orders of Wyatt on the outside. As he works away at Bryan on the mat, he wears him down noticeably. After they get back to their feet, however, Bryan starts to come back with rapid fire shots to the face and chest. After a big whipping kick to the back of the head, Harper falls through the ropes and to the floor on the outside! He runs across the ropes and comes back with Air Goat, driving Harper in to both Rowan and Wyatt, knocking him from his rocking chair! Danielson gets back in to the ring and starts up the 'Yes!' chants with the crowd, Harper staggering back in to the ring. He avoids a clothesline and hits off the ropes, coming back and missing one of his own, turning right in to a kick to the knee. He lifts Bryan for a powerbomb after catching another kick, only to have the WWE Champion push off and land with a DDT! With the crowd going wild, Bryan gets to the ropes and out to the apron. He climbs to the top rope and starts to rise, only for Rowan to get on to the apron and look to him - Danielson leaping off and hitting a dropkick from inside the ring! He gets up and turns to Harper going for the spinning clothesline, ducking away and catching the arm - pulling Harper to the mat with the Yes! Lock! Harper scrambles his hands wildly, trying to find a way free. Harper scratches and crawls towards the ropes but Danielson refuses to let up on the pressure, Harper starting to fade away despite the screams of Wyatt on the outside for him to keep fighting! After a last ditch effort to grab the ropes, Harper fades out and goes unconscious, the official checking his arm twice before a third lift that causes some drama, Harper's arm flopping to the mat once again! The referee calls for the bell. WWE Champion Bryan Danielson def. Luke Harper in 15:50.
Winded, Bryan lets go of the hold and rolls off of Harper to a tremendous ovation from the fans. Before the celebration can begin, however, Rowan comes in to the ring and leaps on to the back of Danielson! He clobbers him with shots across the spine and head, eventually getting off to remove his sheep mask to boos from the WWE Universe. He looks all around the arena with his eyes widened, Bryan staggering back to his feet. Rowan comes at him but gets blasted with a kick to the side. Danielson refuses to let up on them and rattles the big man enough to thrust himself off the corner and come back with the Busaiku Knee! The Austin crowd erupts as Bryan rises back up, breathing heavily as Wyatt paces back and forth on the outside with an enraged look across his face! His fingers twitch as he removes his hat and jacket, coming on the apron. The crowd encourages him to get in to the ring as the building gets loud. Danielson, despite clearly being worn out, even offers for Bray to enter the ring. 'The Eater of Worlds', however, slows himself down and gets down from the apron, staring Bryan down as the crowd is left in disappointment with just a stare down. "YOUR DAY WILL SOON COME, BRYAN! SOON YOUR DAY OF RECKONING WILL SOON COME!" Shouts Wyatt as he backs up the ramp, Danielson scooping his WWE Championship belt up, raising it high over his head over and over again to the loud 'Yes!' chants of the WWE Universe as Monday Night Raw comes to an end.

After a King of the Ring tournament win by Bray, two of WWE's biggest rising stars collide for it's biggest prize. | Roman Reigns was brought in to the WWE by Paul Heyman, seeming like he was on his way to tremendous success. After Heyman felt 'let down' and 'betrayed' by Reigns, however, he sicked his beast, Brock Lesnar, on him. Now, the two will do battle at the biggest party of the summer. |

| CM Punk was taken out at the hands of Kevin Owens, Solomon Crowe and Sami Zayn - The Purge - the night after WrestleMania XXX. After a long lay off, Punk made his unannounced return at Money in the Bank and has targeted Owens. Now, the two finally face in a No Holds Barred Match. | In October 2012, Seth Rollins won the Intercontinental Championship. He would go on to hold it for nearly a year and now, after elevating himself by winning Money in the Bank, wants it back. With a second chance at it being AJ Styles' decision, he called for the briefcase to be on the line also. |

After Y2J was taken out by Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe, they would continue their destructive path by going after Randy Orton. Now, Orton and Del Rio align against them. |
| Dean Ambrose and AJ Lee have had their issues with The Commonwealth 'King' and 'Queen', Wade Barrett and Paige. After crashing the wedding of of the two, they must defend the United States and Divas Championships in a mixed tag team match as it is indeed "winners take all". |

Here we go with the Monday Night RAWRAW. Let's do this! A huge and captivating opening promo between The Purge and CM Punk. Zayn and Crowe versus Del Rio and Orton at SummerSlam should be a hell of a match. I can see it as a potential show stealer. A good match between Dean Ambrose and Wade Barrett. I really like this finish, protecting this match for a future contest. Paige vs AJ tonight? Should be a good match. A good win for Adrian Neville over The Miz, I feel like you have big plans for Neville in the future, and I'm down with that. He's a good wrestler. A good promo exchange between Cena and Cesaro/Heyman. That should be a good match at SummerSlam, could be a show stealer. Hmm... could we see Damien Mizdow in the future? Interesting win for Kane, his eventual match against Rusev should be a good one. Interesting scenario for the Divas and US title at SummerSlam, I see AJ and Ambrose retaining though. I'm really digging the promos on this show, you have another potential show stealer between AJ Styles and Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. A good match between CM Punk and Sami Zayn, the right guy went over here. A good small brawl following the match. Another great promo exchange tonight, Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar should be a brutal match. Rise from the dead for SummerSlam? Holy sh*t, dude. You have a stacked card for SummerSlam and it will be an amazing show. Cody Rhodes is crazy, maggle! I feel like we may see Stardust soon. A good main event for RAW, building the Wyatt/Bryan match at SummerSlam. Overall, this was a good show. SummerSlam is a stacked card and I can't wait to read it.

13 days away from SummerSlam and already the SummerSlam card looks stacked with matches already but with that said let me get right on responding to RAW
- Starting off with The Purge all 3 members of this group of radicals that being Kevin Owens and the WWE Tag Team Champions Zayn & Crowe this is an interesting way to start off RAW with these 3 men I mean they are the future of this business and they have more or less proven it time in and time out ever since they have taken out superstar after superstar creating havoc and destruction wherever they go to whoever they want and considering 2 out of the 3 of them are champions already that being Zayn and Crowe being the WWE Tag Team Champions it is only a matter of time before Kevin Owens becomes a champion but at SummerSlam Owens is perhaps in the biggest match of his young career at SummerSlam because he has to face CM Punk The Best in the World but not just in any match but in a No Holds Barred Match and if it comes down to it, when it comes down to a fight I think Owens he may just have the edge because No Holds Barred means no rules no DQ it means anything and everything is legal but Zayn and Crowe explaining why they have targeted Orton and hearing their explanation of why they targeted The Viper it all makes sense in a twisted sort of way I mean they want to make a name for themselves but choosing Orton may have been a mistake but then cue CM Punk who interrupts The Purge and then eventually out comes Del Rio and Orton, it seems Zayn & Crowe will have to defend their titles at SummerSlam at the biggest party of the summer with them defending their titles against Orton and Del Rio I wonder how that is going to happen? I mean Del Rio and Orton have never ever gotten along in fact they may even hate each other so I wonder how they are going to be able to put aside their differences to team together at SummerSlam much less become WWE Tag Team Champions?
- Dean Ambrose retaining his WWE United States Championship against Wade Barrett here of The Commonwealth, I mean we all knew Ambrose would retain his title but at the same time Barrett he did have this match well in hand hell he probably could have become the new WWE United States Champion if it hadn't been for his Commonwealth stablemates his teammates getting involved costing him his match by attacking Ambrose and the referee seeing it, I know Barrett he will not be a happy camper that's for sure in fact he will probably go off on Rose and McIntyre for getting involved
- Neville beating The Miz here, this is I think twice that The Miz has lost to this new kid Neville I mean Miz is a veteran here and he loses to a raw rookie in Neville, but at the same time Neville he has been on an undefeated streak and Miz has returned not all that long ago but I don't think that this rivalry between Neville and Miz is over even though Neville he has embarrassed The Miz time and time again
- Cena vs Cesaro set for SummerSlam, this will be I think the match that either makes or breaks Cesaro's career as far as being a main event level guy I mean Cena is a former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion multiple times Royal Rumble Match winner former WWE United States Champion former WWE Tag Team Champion I mean Cena has done it all in this business he has done it all in this diary but Cesaro he is also a former WWE Champion in this diary a former Mr. Money in the Bank a former WWE Tag Team Champion and with Heyman in his corner I mean this is the match that I think could steal the show because Cena makes his opponents look good in the ring but with Cesaro he has shown that he not only has freakish strength but his wrestling ability I mean it may even surpass Cena's but at SummerSlam I guess we will find out just who the better man truly is because for me this is probably one of the matches I am most looking forward to
- Could it be that Damien Sandow is leaving The Commonwealth to become Miz's stunt double? Could we end up seeing the birth of Mizdow here? I mean all signs are pointing to this especially given that Sandow has Miz's card and everything and Barrett seeing this
- Kane beating Titus O'Neil in a squash I mean this was pure domination but at least Kane got the victory and I don't even think I can recall the last time Kane has even won a match here on RAW or even on Smackdown for that matter because Kane is going to need all the momentum he can get especially if he is going to be facing Rusev anytime soon but seeing Rusev and Lana show up during this match to try to distract Kane and Kane getting the win anyway only to call Rusev out and down to the ring and Rusev cowering I mean it is obvious that Rusev is afraid of Kane but either way these 2 monsters will collide and it will definitely happen at SummerSlam that's for sure
- AJ Lee still the WWE Divas Champion because her match with Paige ending in a No Contest because of Dean Ambrose the WWE United States Champion getting involved as well as The Commonwealth including Paige's boyfriend Barrett I think it is safe to say that after this I wonder if there will be a rematch between Paige & AJ for the title at SummerSlam? But cue GM Bischoff who comes out and makes a match for SummerSlam that being Dean Ambrose the WWE United States Champion teaming up with the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee to take on the team of Wade Barrett and his girlfriend Paige in an Intergender Mixed Tag Team Match for the WWE United States Championship and the WWE Divas Championship, both titles on the line in this Mixed Gender Tag Team Match I say that's a great decision made by Bischoff
- Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins and the WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles here in their segment I mean these 2 their match at WWE SummerSlam has so much riding on it, I mean whoever wins this match not only becomes WWE Intercontinental Champion but they also become Mr. Money in the Bank I mean Seth if he wins he becomes the new WWE Intercontinental Champion a title that Rollins in this diary made relevant again when he restored prestige to that title when he held it for 350 days almost 1 year as IC Champion and now he is Mr. Money in the Bank considering he won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match back at Money in the Bank which guarantees him a WWE Championship match anywhere at any time but he could lose his briefcase should he lose this match but if he wins he keeps his briefcase and has the chance to make history by being a double champion whereas AJ Styles if he wins he not only retains his WWE Intercontinental Championship he also becomes Mr. Money in the Bank which means AJ Styles he could become a double champion but after that attack from Rollins on Styles I mean we could be looking at our next WWE Intercontinental Champion we could be looking at our next WWE Champion as well should he choose to cash in his briefcase in the same night
- CM Punk w/Del Rio and Orton beating Sami Zayn one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions w/Purge teammates Crowe the other half of the WWE Tag Team Champions and Purge leader Kevin Owens, I just figured that this match would somehow become a 6 Man Tag Team Match in the sense that this match would somehow end in a No Contest or even a DQ or double DQ with Bischoff then coming out and making it a 6 Man Tag Team Match but then cue all hell breaking loose post match and it turning into a melee I think that part was inevitable but at the same time SummerSlam The Purge have their respective matches and considering that it is their first SummerSlam appearance I wonder if they will be able to showcase what they really have at SummerSlam?
- Roman Reigns has the biggest match of his career at SummerSlam in less than 13 days, biggest party of the summer he has Lesnar and considering Reigns he started his career as a Paul Heyman Guy and now 1 year later after becoming a Heyman Guy has to face the ultimate Heyman Guy in Lesnar I mean Reigns if he can somehow slay the beast at SummerSlam ending Lesnar's SummerSlam undefeated streak then Reigns will prove to the world proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the future of this business but even if Reigns loses to Lesnar at SummerSlam he has nothing to really be ashamed of considering Lesnar is a beast but also Brock he hasn't been in the ring since WrestleMania 30 in your diary and Reigns he has been here every day full time so will there be any ring rust on Lesnar? I don't think so but Lesnar being here next week on RAW the final RAW before SummerSlam, last face to face encounter between Reigns and Lesnar can only end one way either Lesnar F5ing Reigns again or Reigns spearing Lesnar this time or security somehow getting involved breaking up Reigns and Lesnar
- Rise from The Dead at SummerSlam, whoever it is, which will be either Sting or The Undertaker will show up at SummerSlam if it is Sting then it will be Sting's first SummerSlam appearance in a WWE ring but if it is Taker that is returning then Taker returning at SummerSlam the last time we saw him his undefeated streak was ended by Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 30 and then the last time we saw Taker again was the night after Mania on RAW where he and The Icon The Vigilante Sting were face to face so if one or both of these legends show up at SummerSlam I know I definitely can't wait to see it because it furthers build up their epic match which will happen at WrestleMania 31 in your diary which I am really excited for
- The Usos beating The Rhodes Brothers, this just goes to show us that The Rhodes Brothers both Cody Rhodes and Goldust have been disintegrating for a while now for months really hell their problems have been building up for so long and it has finally reached its breaking point, Cody has finally had enough and I can't say that I blame him, Cody Rhodes becoming more and more crazier more and more unhinged I like this newer darker Cody as he takes out both Usos single-handedly by himself leaving Goldust there I mean for Cody it is only a matter of time before he takes out his own brother Goldust putting Goldust on the shelf injuring Goldust taking him out I mean Cody Rhodes he doesn't need his brother he never did and after he takes out Goldust then nothing to stop Cody Rhodes from going to the top
- And WWE Champion Bryan Danielson beating one third of The Wyatt Family beating Luke Harper in the main event only to get attacked post match by Rowan only for Danielson to turn it around and lay out Rowan but then inviting Bray Wyatt to come into the ring but Bray thinking better of it and Danielson standing tall to end RAW, this further builds up their SummerSlam match which in 13 days is not only Danielson's toughest title defense since becoming WWE Champion again but this is perhaps the biggest match in Bray Wyatt's career in this diary and considering that in this diary Bray Wyatt has had quite the year ending The Undertaker's streak at Mania 30 and then winning the 2014 King of the Ring tournament to become #1 Contender for the WWE Championship and Danielson becoming WWE Champion not once but twice this year I mean something has gotta give here
Already 7 matches on the SummerSlam card, I wonder if more matches will be added to the SummerSlam card? Perhaps a match which we could see on the pre-show on the SummerSlam Kick Off Show but either way this card looks stacked already and especially with 13 more days away from the biggest party of the summer I mean you are really building up SummerSlam to be a big deal I mean it is, it is one of the Big Four in terms of PPVs the Big Four being WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble but SummerSlam if you have to compare it to any PPV it is like the WrestleMania of the summer in a sense

WWE Battleground: Sunday 20th July 2014...It's been a WHILE...well okay, a few weeks. And you're now in late July!? Jeez man. You're two weeks away from SummerSlam in real time, so I'm going to give Battleground a reply and my next one will probably be when you get SummerSlam up - after that they'll be constant RAW replies. I sure hate replying to RAWs with feud progression in progress. So, good cover art for the show, how in God's name did you find that? Anyhow, Rusev continues to be utilised on the Kickoff shows before pay-per-views - which I suppose is fine, but my my this match with Mark Henry would have been ugly. Why is Kofi Kingston with Henry anyway? Rusev with the win made him look impressive at least, hopefully from after this show he'll be seen on actual pay-per-views per monthly basis. He's spent his time in the lower depths of the roster and it's time to get some real shine from here on out. Onto the main show, a hot way to kick off - albeit I'd book it nearer the main event personally - with the Purge facing CM Punk and friends. I was very surprised with the result of this one, did not see the Purge eating their first real loss: I wonder if Alberto Del Rio or Chris Jericho will want a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships? Probably not, they're probably above that...always a storyline possibility for a SummerSlam undercard match, though. Good to see Sami Zayn take the loss over Kevin Owens though. I will say, you've given Kevin Owens a lot of personality out of the Purge faction: now I want to see some individualistic character traits out of Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe - why do you want people to boo these two guys other than because they follow Kevin Owens around? I'm guessing that Kevin will face Punk at SummerSlam which could go either way - just keep in mind whether Punk would do the job for Owens though. I do think Punk should win this rivalry, but at risk of making Owens look bad. I do think it would've been better to start with the subtitle of the show: that being the King of the Ring tournament. Especially with Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler - who have awesome chemistry and can rock the house down; although whether or not they could follow that opening match is difficult to tell. I was not expecting to see Orton pick up the win here, I will say. I suppose it fits better though - I see the King of the Ring finals setting up his next program. A little conflict with the Wyatt Family members in the other semi-final match is nice - although obviously and hopefully nothing big to ruin the faction. Bray Wyatt wins, and now I'm expecting hijinks to take place in the finals. Up next, Wade Barrett now wants another midcard title. I never thought Dean Ambrose had chemistry with Barrett (looking at their previous feud earlier in 2015), but the right man won here - as Ambrose's only upside right now is the United States Championship in his possession. He really needs a big angle to spike his character up again. I can't really see Ambrose as the type of worker to mix and match between the main event and the midcard. More of this excellent extension of character from Barrett - he's got the Royal Wedding with Paige ahead of him yet! Reckon Adam Rose will give Barrett a good bachelor party? AJ Styles and Seth Rollins would tear the house down, so this was a good decision for the Intercontinental Championship. I was totally expecting Seth Rollins to take the title here, but AJ did only win the title just over a month ago. I would have liked to see this one go on a few minutes longer, but nevermind. Next, Nikki Bella's career is...over? Why? I guess to give Paige more heat, and potentially set up Paige facing Nikki down the line perhaps. In the mean time, she should have problems with Brie Bella I suppose. AJ Lee continues her Divas Championship reign...but who's next to challenge her? Next, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton in the finals...and it would be an awesome match. I just hope this sets up what could be an amazing storyline between these two. The Wyatt Family getting involved too was nice, showing signs of them still working efficiently as a faction. Wyatt winning the King of the Ring tournament was probably the better decision - and I can't see you taking on the royal gimmick either, which is totally fine. My question is where Orton goes from here if you don't go with him and Wyatt's feud: and by the sounds of Bray Wyatt getting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot at SummerSlam, it doesn't seem like there is a lot for Orton to do. Another thing, there has to be some reason why Wyatt uses the Tombstone Piledriver still: my theory is you're preparing the Undertaker's return, where he will meet Wyatt and get his win back at WrestleMania 31: that's just a theory. And lastly - on one hand, I like the premise of Daniel Bryan looking like an underdog fighting champion against elevated odds in multi-man matches - however this is the second time he's been in this situation since WrestleMania XXX: it was only at Extreme Rules in April where there was a four-way main event of a pay-per-view. A little overkill - and I get that you wanted to sandwich together two feuds, but I think a singles main event would have sufficed better. This match did give Roman Reigns some spotlight in the main event - which I think will be a building factor in the next twelve months for him in this diary - and it sets up John Cena and Antonio Cesaro's match at SummerSlam too. That said, I don't think Cesaro should have taken the fall here, and it adds on his abysmal summer streak of being handled abysmally. Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan retains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and will now face Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam next month. Overall, a great show to build up next month's SummerSlam - this is exactly the type of show needed (as an example) for the February pay-per-view if not Elimination Chamber. Good work.

AUGUST 7, 2014 FROM THE LAREDO ENERGY CENTER IN LAREDO, TEXAS
The Smackdown intro video airs and in to the Laredo Energy Center from Laredo, Texas comes the cameras. Michael Cole and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show, where tonight we will have the WWE Champion Bryan Danielson will be taking on Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family. Plus, Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles teams with United States Champion Dean Ambrose team up against their respective rivals, Seth Rollins and Wade Barrett!
Soon, the entrance music of The Purge hits. Just as they did on Raw, they open up the show as Kevin Owens and the WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe make their way out from the stage and through the crowd, respectively. They come down and in to the ring, Owens demanding a microphone from ringside - laughing as he paces back and forth. "I'm sure you all are so giddy over what happened on Monday Night Raw, aren't you?" Owens looks to Zayn and Crowe, raising his eyebrows with a smile. "CM Punk managed to get one over on Sami on Raw and then Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio got their kicks in by attacking me from behind! Something cowards do..." Cole is quick to point out on commentary that Owens was going to attack Punk from behind before Orton and Del Rio stopped him. Owens goes on, saying to the crowd that The Purge came together to remove anybody in their way, dispose of them! They do it to get to the top because that is where they belong, that is what is what they deserve and what is best for themselves and best for their families. "CM Punk has no family." Owens says sharply to heavy boos, a smile forming across his face. He even takes a dig at Orton, saying that he is divorced. Del Rio has his family down in Mexico and never gets to see them. "I'm a real man unlike those three and I see my son every chance I get and when I am putting him to bed... I tell him that daddy is going to do and when I see him before next Sunday I am going to tell him exactly what I am going to do to CM Punk..." He grins and moves on, saying that tonight he wants to fight. He says that the only reason he came here tonight is to fight and while CM Punk, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio aren't here tonight and he can't get his hands on them, he'll take anybody else. "So I'm issuing an open challenge! Right here, right now I'm issuing an open challenge..." He drops the mike to the mat and paces back and forth across the ring, screaming up the ramp for somebody to answer his challenge.
After a bit of a wait, Ryback's music hits and out comes 'The Big Guy' to a relatively big pop from the crowd. He marches all the way down to the ring and gets right in the face of Owens, a microphone in his hand. "Lets be honest... 'The Big Guy' hasn't exactly been very lucky when it comes to wins and losses in recent months... but 'The Big Guy' has some motivation tonight!" He nods and looks around the arena, telling Owens that he has had to sit back and listen to him run his mouth for quite some time now and now he has the motive to accept this challenge and shut him up! The Loredo fans cheer the words, Owens telling Ryback he is making a big mistake and that he is going to regret his decision. He backs up and charges forward suddenly, getting hit with a hard shot to the face! Ryback proceeds to hit a double clothesline on the WWE Tag Team Champions and then hits one to Owens to send him over the ropes! Ryback starts up the 'Feed me more!' chants with the WWE Universe as he marches all around the ring, Owens with a look of rage across his face. "Will Ryback stop Kevin Owens, or will the path of destruction be extended by the leader of The Purge!?" Cole questions. "We'll find out as they face off - next!"
Kevin Owens (w/Sami Zayn and Solomon Crowe) vs Ryback: The match is underway after the break, Owens being very aggressive in the corner with 'The Big Guy'. Kevin laughs at Ryback as he shoves him away, swinging a fist. It is caught, however, and Ryback rocks him with multiple shots to the face and a shoulder block that sends Owens to the mat. Ryback gets some momentum brewing and rocks Owens to the mat repeatedly, missing on an eventual Meat Hook Clothesline attempt. Owens rolls out of the ring to re-group, a commercial break coming. After the time away, Owens rattles Ryback with a boot to the gut, followed by a superkick! Ryback collapses in to the corner and Owens blasts him with a Cannonball Splash. The two get back to their feet, Owens pushing Ryback off the ropes for the pop-up powerbomb, only to be unable to pull him up. Ryback hits him with a clothesline and, once again, turns things his way. He calls for Shell Shocked but Owens elbows and headbutts him before he can be lifted. Using all of his strength, Owens lifts Ryback off the mat and powerbombs him in to the corner! The crowd boos as he drags Ryback to the middle of the ring, hooking the outside leg for the three. Kevin Owens def. Ryback in 8:52.
Owens gets back to his feet rather fast, stumbling back against the ropes. He catches his breath and in to the ring comes Crowe and Zayn, patting him on the back and arms. The group starts to exit the ring but Owens stops the WWE Tag Team Champions, pointing back towards Ryback. The Laredo Energy Center boos as the trio heads over to him, dragging 'The Big Guy' on to his feet again, shoving him up in to the corner. Zayn hits the Helluva Kick, Crowe following up with a clothesline. Owens catches him as he falls forward, pulling him between his legs with a sick grin across his face, hitting a second powerbomb in to the corner! The referee quickly steps in, telling The Purge to stay away. Owens laughs as Ryback is motionless, The Purge having sent a message towards CM Punk, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio here tonight.
The theme music of Kane hits after the break, 'The Big Red Monster' making his way out from the back. He comes down and in to the ring, holding a microphone in his hand as he breaths heavily while looking down at the mat. "Recently... I've been in confrontations with Rusev..." He lifts his head up and looks around the arena, the fans booing the mention of the name. "While this has yet to turn in to much, I've had quite enough of the cat and mouse games, Rusev. In case the Russian Federation has no knowledge of who I am... allow me to remind you that I am the destructive seven foot tall big red monster... I am the devil's favorite demon and while you have disrespected this country, you've also disrespected who I am!" The WWE Universe cheers Kane as he steps forward to the ropes, looking up the ramp. He says that he doesn't want to make this difficult and he wants to have Rusev come out here, get in the ring and fight him right here, right now! With the crowd getting behind Kane, they wait until 'The Bulgarian Brute' has his music hit, the cheers of the Texas fans turning over relatively quickly to very loud boos.
Soon, Rusev and Lana make their way out while staring down at the ring. The duo stay on the stage despite Kane's efforts to try and get Rusev to come down. "Kane, your obsession with Rusev is not only unhealthy, but could result in much physical pain." She tries to keep going on but the crowd is rambunctious, leading to her telling them all to shut up! "As I was saying... you have grown obsessed with the desire to fight Rusev, but you do not recognize your ignorance. You may be known as 'The Big Red Monster', but there is a greater red monster hanging over you... a greater red monster hanging over all... the Russian Federation." She smiles and says that Rusev is a super-athlete selected by Vladimir Putin himself and he has been on a path of destruction ever since. "If you truly want a match with Rusev, Kane... you will have to wait until Summerslam. Otherwise, consider yourself... much like the rest of America... out of luck." Kane is quick to snap back, shouting that he doesn't care, he just wants to get his hand around the throat of the coward that Rusev is. 'The Bulgarian Brute' grabs the microphone from Lana fast, initially shouting back at Kane in his native tongue before slowing himself to speak English. "You call me a coward, Kane!? Me!? A coward!? I am not weak like America and I am not weak like you! At Summerslam, you will find that out when I crush you, Kane!" He drops the microphone and begins to wave the Russian Flag over his head, Kane laughing in response as he raises his arms up over his head, bringing them down as a big pyro hits on the ring posts! Rusev and Lana both look to the ring with their eyes widened at the display, Kane continuing to laugh at them.
Adrian Neville vs Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter): The match begins as Neville and Swagger lock up, Jack trying to bring things to the mat only for Adrian to slip free repeatedly, delivering repeated stiff kicks. He is stifled as he goes for a running clothesline in the corner with a shot to the gut by Swagger! 'The Real American' shows his amateur wrestling skills and, once again, keeps Neville grounded. He grows confident and throws his hands out to the crowd, running off to the corner for the Swagger Bomb only for Neville to roll out of the way! Swagger staggers back to his feet, turning to 'The Man That Gravity Forgot', being dropkicked hard in to the corner followed by a big clothesline! Neville flips all the way across the ring and returns, being lifted off the mat and dropped on to the apron. Swagger turns right to a shoulder to the gut, followed by a sunset flip that leads to a near fall. Neville continues with the fast, hard action and keeps total momentum. He is caught for a German Suplex but manages to land on his feet! After a swift kick to the back of the head - Swagger dropping to the mat motionless - Adrian makes his way to the top rope and executes with the Red Arrow! He hooks both legs for the three count. Adrian Neville def. Jack Swagger in 5:27.
Neville gets back on to his feet, Colter looking disappointed and angered on the outside as, once again, Swagger has come up short. 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' celebrates along with the WWE Universe as he has been red hot since making his debut three weeks ago.
Backstage, Renee Young is standing by and welcomes her guest at this time, Seth Rollins. She thanks him for his time and asks, just ahead of his upcoming tag team match, if he is truly as confident as he says he is going in to next Sunday, seeing as how AJ Styles did in fact beat him at Battleground: King of the Ring. Rollins scoffs and rolls his eyes, saying of course he is. "Allow me to enlighten you, Renee. I set the bar in this company when it comes to talent! AJ Styles... yeah, he got one over on me a few weeks ago but I am not worried in the least bit about him taking away my Money in the Bank Briefcase at Summerslam..." He shakes his head and stops himself, saying that tonight he is going to prove his point when he curb stomps AJ Styles' head in to the mat! He storms off, as his tag team match with Wade Barrett is coming up next.
Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles and United States Champion Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins and Wade Barrett (w/The Commonwealth): The bell rings as Barrett starts things off against Styles, the former rivals going back and forth early. Wade hits a stiff elbow to the side of the head, rattling the Intercontinental Champion. He misses on a big boot but nails the Winds of Change on the turnaround, leading to a near fall. Barrett and Rollins begin to work well with each other, making back and forth tags to wear down Styles. After hitting a Pele Kick on Barrett, Styles starts to crawl to his corner but gets dropped with an elbow across the back! Barrett drags him back to the other side of the ring before throwing him to the outside! While the WWE Universe boos, Barrett raises his fists high and a commercial break comes. Following the time away, Styles is still being wore down by Rollins and Barrett. After talking trash to Dean, Rollins goes off the ropes for the Curb Stomp but Styles moves out of the way! He gets up to his feet and delivers a huge DDT! Both men crawl to their respective corners and make the tags, Ambrose coming in - Barrett trying to back down only to be grabbed by the arm as he tries to get out of the ring, being blasted with a clothesline. 'The Lunatic Fringe' goes off with repeated shots to the head, eventually setting up for Dirty Deeds! Barrett manages to get free, however, and bring Ambrose to the mat with a boot to the face. After a near fall, Barrett starts a big beat down. He tags Rollins back in and he smacks Ambrose around a bit, being met with a giant shot to the chin! As Dean goes off, he ends up hitting his signature clothesline coming off from in between the ropes, looking around with big eyes to the crowd. He points to his corner and tags Styles back in, the Intercontinental Champion getting to the top rope. As he does so, Ambrose dives through the ropes and takes out The Commonwealth! Before Styles has a chance to leap off, however, General Manager Eric Bischoff comes up on to the apron and pulls on the ropes! With the referee not noticing, Styles crumbles to the mat. Rollins staggers back on to his feet, taking notice of the opportunity. He flies off the ropes and comes roaring right back with a Curb Stomp! He hooks both legs up for the three count over the Intercontinental Champion. Seth Rollins and Wade Barrett def. Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles and United States Champion Dean Ambrose in 12:18.
With the WWE Universe in disgust, Rollins rolls out of the ring and embraces Bischoff with a grin and his fist up in the air. On the other side of the ring, Barrett gets back up along with the rest of The Commonwealth, Ambrose looking in disbelief up against the barricade. Barrett and his stable are quick to go around the ring and up the ramp before Ambrose can come at them once again, the United States Champion instead coming in to the ring to check on Styles.
Back following the break, Seth Rollins and Eric Bischoff are seen talking to each other in the back with smiles across their faces over the cheap victory for Rollins just moments ago. "I knew you had my back, Eric. You've always had my back and you will keep having my back. As long as you're the General Manager and as long as I am out there in that ring, nobody is going to stop me from reaching the top!" Bischoff smiles and says he isn't wrong, but he can't be doing things like that all the time or else it will jeopardize his job. Rollins tries to plead his case that he doesn't need the help all the time, but Bischoff states that he does need it some of the time though. "And without me, you wouldn't be 'Mr. Money in the Bank', Seth..." He points out with a shrug of the shoulders, quickly moving on to tell Rollins not to worry, though, because he has so much faith in him. "You've got this next Sunday at Summerslam and you've got this..." He taps the Money in the Bank Briefcase. "In the bank." The General Manager heads off with a smile.
Elsewhere is Renee Young, whom welcomes her guest at this time - Paige. Young questions Paige on how she is feeling with this mixed tag team match on the horizon at Summerslam and her situation with AJ Lee after ruining her wedding with Wade Barrett last week on Monday Night Raw. "Renee... what AJ and Dean Ambrose did last week was unacceptable... how in the world can you have champions like that? Champions that run around causing havoc all the time? Havoc left and right!" She crosses her arms and says that her and Wade are very much ready for the mixed tag team match next week and while she is confident that they will be winning at the event, she should have won the Diva's Championship on Raw this week. "But guess what, Renee? Dean Ambrose raised havoc once again and caused the match to go to a no contest just as I was about to win!" Before she has a chance to say anything more, Layla steps forward and says with all due respect to her friend, she didn't really have that match won on Monday. Paige squints at Layla and looks disgusted, asking what she is talking about. Layla shrugs, looking at the floor. "I just don't think you had the match on Monday and I think you're taking the chance at Summerslam for granted, Paige... and honestly, I think AJ and Dean did you a favor at your wedding by ruining it because I don't think Wade feels the way he says he does about you!" With a scoff, Paige looks off in to the distance and says she has heard enough out of Layla. She says that she wants a match tonight, so she offers Layla the challenge. While she seems taken aback at first, Paige wills her on. "Alright, Paige! You want a match with me? Let's do it! Maybe if I beat you, it'll get through your head that you're not right about everything like you think you are!" Layla storms off as 'The Queen of The Commonwealth' shakes her head.
Paige vs Layla: Uncharacteristically on her own and not accompanied by her trainer, William Regal, Paige is aggressive out of the gate. She trash talks Layla a bit, telling her to stay out of her business. Layla catches a kick, however, dropping Paige to the mat with a clothesline! After getting some momentum in her favor, Layla hits a running crossbody that results in a close two count. Paige grows angered quickly, bashing her with a hard shot to the face. After a few short arm clotheslines in the corner, Paige hits a hard kick to the gut followed by some knee lifts. The crowd shows their discontent with her, Paige just brushing it off. She proceeds to lift Layla up and plant her with the Ram-Paige, leading to the relatively easy three count for her. Paige def. Layla in 4:08.
Paige rises back up, standing over her former maid of honor. She shoves her boot in to the face of Layla and shoves her out of the ring, throwing her hands out. "This is my house!" She shouts to the disliking crowd, vowing to become Diva's Champion for a second time next Sunday.
Backstage, WWE Champion Bryan Danielson is seen talking with his wife Brie Bella. The two finish their conversation and kiss, Danielson heading down the hallways as he will be going one on one with Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family in the main event - coming up next!
The signature of The Wyatt Family hits, the Texas crowd booing as on the titantron from behind his lantern appears Bray Wyatt with a long, bellowing laugh. "I tried to make this quick... and I tried to make this... painless for you, Bryan." He says, tilting his head back. "But you left me no choice! Your days living this lie, living this fallacy of a life are numbered, Bryan! But no worries, Bryan... for I am to lift the pressure from off your shoulders..." He snickers again, saying that we are just ten days away from a new dawn, a new day and a new world in which 'The Face of Fear' rules over all. "Laredo, Texas... we're here." He warns, blowing out his lantern's light.
WWE Champion Bryan Danielson vs Erick Rowan (w/Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper) in a Non-Title Match: The bell rings and Bryan starts things off with tons of kicks, including one big one to the back of the head that rattles Rowan. He gets distracted by Harper getting on to the apron, Bryan swinging and missing a kick at him. Rowan takes the opportunity to drop him with a clothesline, laying the WWE Champion down and out on the mat. After a splash, Rowan hooks the leg and gets a two count. Rowan continues to use his size to control the match, only to be hit with rapid heatbutts as he goes for a chokebomb! The WWE Champion gets free and drops to the mat, ducking a clothesline. He runs off to the opposite side of the ring and roars back with a huge dropkick! Rowan stammers a bit, so Danielson does it again - this time hitting him hard enough to send him through the ropes and to the floor! A commercial break interrupts the match as Bryan leads on the 'Yes!' chants with Harper and Wyatt furious on the outside. After the break, Danielson remains in control in the corner. Rowan chases him across the ring but the WWE Champion runs up the turnbuckles, flipping backwards over Rowan! He hits a long series of kicks to the legs and side, rushing off the ropes only to be caught with a sidewalk slam that stops all momentum. Rowan hooks the leg for another near fall and grows angered, taking a look to the outside. Wyatt rises from his rocking chair and steps up to the ropes, Erick coming over and leaning between. Wyatt grabs a hold of the sides of his head, saying something to him before Harper smacks him in the face! Rowan gets back in to the ring and tugs at his beard, a loud roar coming from him! He turns back to Danielson in the corner and goes for a splash, Bryan moving out of the way! He leaps on to the back for a sleeper hold, Rowan scrambling around wildly. He gets over to the ropes and dumps Bryan over them, going out after him. The WWE Champion trips him face first in to the announce table and gets back in to the ring, flying across the ring to hit Air Goat on Harper! He stares at Wyatt, whom gets to his feet, before getting back in to the ring, hitting Air Goat on Rowan as well! The big man comes in to the ring slowly, Danielson following after him. He starts up the 'Yes!' chants once again and rushes right at Rowan as he gets up, hitting the Busaiku Knee! He covers him for the one, two, three. WWE Champion Bryan Danielson def. Erick Rowan in 13:35. With the Laredo crowd going wild, Danielson gets back on to his feet and expects an attack from behind, Harper running right in to a kick to the back of the head! He wobbles down to one knee, so Danielson takes the opportunity to hit him with the Busaiku Knee just as he did to Erick! Wyatt comes in to the ring, unlike Monday, and spins Bryan around! He sets him up for Sister Abigail but Danielson slips free, fighting away. He ducks a clothesline and hits off the ropes fast, coming right back for another knee only for Wyatt to throw himself down to the mat and roll out of the ring just in time! Harper and Rowan slowly roll out of the ring towards Wyatt with a wild look across his face. "YOUR DAY OF RECKONING WILL COME, BRYAN!" He shouts, pacing back and forth as Danielson hoists his WWE Championship belt over his head, leading the Texas fans in the thunderous chants of 'Yes!' as Thursday Night Smackdown comes to a conclusion.

He would go on to hold it for nearly a year and now, after elevating himself by winning Money in the Bank, wants it back. With a second chance at it being AJ Styles' decision, he called for the briefcase to be on the line also. |

Starting off the show yet again with The Purge, they started off RAW and now Smackdown I can't get enough of the Purge honestly and seeing them talk about their respective matches at SummerSlam I love it because these 3 men have very big matches with Owens taking on CM Punk in No Holds Barred and the WWE Tag Team Champions Zayn & Crowe have to defend their titles against Orton & Del Rio so SummerSlam is pretty much The Purge's make or break but then seeing Ryback interrupt them of all people, definitely unexpected to say the least
Kevin Owens beating Ryback is a big win for him considering Owens has to face Punk in No Holds Barred and Owens needs as much momentum as he can get but Owens he beat a former World Heavyweight Champion considering in this diary The Big Guy is a former World Champion but seeing The Purge lay waste to Ryback post-match I thought that Punk, Orton or Del Rio would make the save
Rusev vs Kane at SummerSlam with the match being added to the card with it being official I figured that it would be a matter of time but seeing as how this is Rusev's first SummerSlam appearance I am really looking forward to seeing how he fares against Kane seeing as how Rusev is still undefeated it begs the question of if Kane can be the man to finally end Rusev's streak
Neville's undefeated streak continues he beats Swagger a former World Champion I mean with Neville sky's the limit with this kid I mean he keeps finding a way to win hitting that Red Arrow one of the most fascinating things I have ever seen as far as a finisher pulling off exciting moves it is only a matter of time before his popularity further increases
Seth Rollins probably has the single biggest match of his career having to put up his Money in the Bank briefcase on the line against the WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles who will put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line in the same match with winner essentially taking all and the loser winding up with nothing, he says he isn't sweating AJ but doing that could prove costly
Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins teaming up with his former rival The Commonwealth's leader Wade Barrett to beat the team of WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles and WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, I can't say that I am surprised that the GM Eric Bischoff interferes again on Rollins' behalf costing Styles and Ambrose the match and helping Rollins, blatant favoritism if I ever saw it, you know Rollins owes everything he has everything he is today is only because Eric Bischoff made it so and without him Rollins was never nothing and he is nothing without Bischoff but I wonder how much of a role Bischoff will play at SummerSlam in Styles/Rollins?
Lesnar and Reigns face to face on RAW the final RAW before SummerSlam I can't wait, I can see these 2 wanting to tear each other apart SUPLEX CITY BITCH
How Bischoff has not been fired yet by Vince shocks me considering what Bischoff has already done since becoming GM again
Paige seems to be ready for SummerSlam considering how she and her boyfriend Wade Barrett of The Commonwealth have an Intergender Mixed Tag Team Match with both the WWE United States Championship and the WWE Divas Championship on the line in this match, Winner Takes All, I then wonder who Paige will face tonight?
Paige beating Layla and the way she beat Layla too, Paige is all business heading into SummerSlam she seems to be focused and ready and that intensity she showed destroying Layla like that I thought that she and Layla are or were friends I guess not
And in the main event WWE Champion Danielson beating another member of the Wyatt Family this time beating Rowan, he has beaten Harper already and he faces Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam when he has to defend his title against him, I think it is safe to say Danielson he keeps finding a way to stick it to Wyatt at every turn but sooner or later Danielson's luck will run out, we will have a new WWE Champion and his name is Bray Wyatt
10 more days until SummerSlam and I for one can't wait!!!

The Card for Summerslam looks really appealing, I honestly can't wait to see this card. There's going to be a lot of great matches including Kevin Owens vs CM Punk. I think it's time you brought AJ into this storyline, although she teams up with Ambrose to take on Barrett and Paige. Lesnar vs Reigns should be badass. I think Reigns will take a trip to SUPLEX CITY BITCH!. I guarantee that Wyatt ends up winning the WWE Championship at Summerslam cause really look at what Wyatt has done in the past 2014. He did what no one could ever do and that was defeat The Undertaker and break his streak at WrestleMania. He won King of The Ring and now he has a chance to become the WWE Champion, if you think about it this spring and summer has been a big ride for Wyatt. I'm looking forward to see how Summerslam plays out the next few days on the road before Summerslam.

AUGUST 11, 2014 FROM THE MODA CENTER IN PORTLAND, OREGON
Following the Monday Night Raw opening video, the cameras come in to the Moda Center from Portland, Oregon. Michael Cole, Jerry 'The King' Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome all to the show on commentary, just six days away from Summerslam! Tonight, we have a huge main event set as WWE Champion Bryan Danielson and Roman Reigns team up in a handicap match against Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan - The Wyatt Family! But before that, Reigns will have the opportunity to be face-to-face with his opponent this Sunday, Brock Lesnar! Plus, a six man tag team match is on the horizon as The Purge will go to battle with CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton ahead of their respective matches on Sunday night.
The signature of The Wyatt Family hits and on the titantron appears Bray Wyatt behind his lantern. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan come up behind him from the darkness slowly, Wyatt laughing as he warns Portland that they're here. The group proceeds to make their way out in the darkness, coming down and in to the ring together. Wyatt stands in the middle of the ring, gazing all around the arena with a sinister grin. "Gather round, boys and girls! For I, 'The Eater of Worlds', have a story to tell all of you about your hero!" He gestures his hand out, wagging a finger to the crowd. "You see, man... you all believe your hero is a good man. You believe your hero is the one that can take all of the pain away! You believe your hero puts these smiles on your faces with one word and you believe your hero enjoys it!" Wyatt says that this is simply not true, for Bryan Danielson is nothing but evil like him. Wyatt claims, however, that Danielson isn't necessary evil like himself. He says that while he leads the WWE Universe in these 'Yes!' chants week after week after week, he is hiding the monster that is inside of him. "But don't you worry your precious little soul, Bryan... for I am here to save you. I am here to take the pressure off of your shoulders! I am going to remove that golden weight from your shoulders and finally, Bryan, you won't have to live this lie any longer... your day of reckoning, Bryan... is coming."
Before Wyatt has the opportunity to say anything more, the theme music of the WWE Champion hits and out comes Bryan Danielson to a giant ovation from the Portland crowd. He makes his way out to the stage with a microphone in his hand, but no high spirit as usual. "For weeks and weeks I have heard every word you've had to say, Bray... and I've had just about enough of it!" The crowd pops in approval of Danielson's words as he points down to the ring. "You have this sick and twisted idea that I don't have love and admiration for these people... you have this sick and twisted idea that I am evil... I may not be a hero but I will do whatever it takes to stop you from taking this away from me on Sunday!" He hoists his WWE Championship belt in the air and Wyatt laughs in response, saying it is such a shame that Bryan can't accept the truth. He brings up his wife, Brie, saying that he feels the worst for her. It is the last straw for Danielson, whom shouts at Wyatt to leave his wife out of this! "This has nothing to do with my wife, Bray! This is about you and me and the WWE Championship! I am not evil and I am not a monster but if I have to bring something from the deepest, darkest part of me to beat you at Summerslam... I will." He drops the mike to the floor and, still uncharacteristically, doesn't interact with the fans. Wyatt, meanwhile, drops to his knees with his arms spread in the ring, laughing wildly.
Back from the break, Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles is coming to ringside to join in for commentary on the upcoming match. After getting welcomed by the trio, the entrance music of 'Mr. Money in the Bank' Seth Rollins makes his way out with a slick grin across his face. After getting down and in to the ring, he calls for a microphone and stares Styles down. "AJ, AJ, AJ... how is your head feeling after last Thursday?" He laughs as he leans across the ropes, saying that when he hit that Curb Stomp and pinned him last week on Smackdown, it felt so good. It felt so good that this Sunday at Summerslam, he might just drive his head in to the mat twice so he can get that adrenaline rush going through him once again. Styles smiles, noting how Eric Bischoff shoved him off the top rope last week and that is the only way Rollins will get one over on him again. "Nah, AJ! You see, Eric and I have a well working relationship and while, yeah, I'll admit I had his help last week you know damn well it isn't a necessity... Eric was protecting his biggest investment and this Sunday at Summerslam that investment will prove worth-while... because I am going to take the Intercontinental Championship back and I am going to stand tall over you with both that title... and my Money in the Bank Briefcase!" After a long cackle, Rollins turns around as Adrian Neville's music hits, 'The Man That Gravity Forgot' making his way out for a match with 'Mr. Money in the Bank' just six days before Seth's briefcase versus title match. Seth Rollins vs Adrian Neville: The bell rings, Rollins laughing at Neville - not taking him in the least bit serious. He shoves him back but gets rocked with a spinning kick to the gut, Adrian dropping him with a series of kicks. He goes flying over the top rope with a flip and rocks Rollins in to the floor right in front of the announce table! Neville raises his hands up in his signature taunt to a cheer from the crowd as a commercial break comes early. After the time away, Seth has control of the match. The commentary trio goes over what went down during the break as Rollins would throw Neville in to the steel steps after feigning a knee injury to the official. He keeps Neville grounded and trash talks Styles in the process, being rather aggressive with every attempt from Adrian to get out of his grasp, slamming him in to the mat repeatedly. Rollins gets too cocky after a suplex and motions for the title to Styles, only to turn right in to enziguri from 'The Man That Gravity Forgot'! Rollins falls to the mat and Neville hooks the legs for a very close count of two. The contest gets very fast paced, both men getting big swings of momentum. As Rollins goes for the Curb Stomp, Neville manages to get out of the way and avoid a clothesline after getting back up, hitting another big spinning kick to the gut. After springing across the ring on his hands, he returns with a big dropkick that rattles Rollins and sends him out of the ring. Seth goes over to the timekeeper and grabs his briefcase, the crowd booing as he starts to go across the ring. He pays no attention to Neville in the ring but as he gets near the ramp, turns right in to a huge crossbody from the top rope! With the crowd behind Neville, he gets Seth in to the ring again and goes up to the top rope again. After gazing all around at the Portland fans, he leaps off for the Red Arrow only to stop himself as Rollins moves, rolling across the ring and on to his feet. He turns right in to a big kick to the stomach, dropping him to all fours. Flying off the ropes, Rollins returns with an emphatic Curb Stomp! He hooks both legs for the three count. Seth Rollins def. Adrian Neville in 12:42.
Rollins gets on to his knees with a big smile across his face as the Oregon crowd boos him. He slowly rises back to his feet, the official raising his arm up high. He leans across the ropes to AJ while pointing at the Intercontinental Championship. "That's mine, Styles!" He shouts. "That's all mine, baby!" AJ simply pulls off his headset, climbing on to the announce table slowly. He holds his title belt high up over his head as he and Rollins stare each other down.
United States Champion Dean Ambrose and Diva's Champion AJ Lee vs Fandango and Summer Rae in a Mixed Tag Team Match: The match starts, Ambrose and Fandango kicking things off. After a dance from Fandango, 'The Lunatic Fringe' mocks him with a dance of his own. The crowd gets a chuckle out of it, but Fandango takes exception. He misses a shot to the face and gets mashed with rapid shots to the face. Ambrose goes wild on him with clothesline after clothesline from corner to corner. Although the crowd cheers wildly for a finish, Ambrose stops himself and sees Summer Rae laughing from the apron at Fandango's misery. "Hey! You think this is funny!?" Ambrose questions to her. She nods, admitting to her discontent for her dance partner. Dean throws Fandango to the mat and says it is indeed funny, but this is funnier! He proceeds to tag in AJ and in comes the Diva's Champion to a pop, Summer with a drastic change of expression. Lee drags her in to the ring and after toying around a bit, rocks her to the mat repeatedly with forearms. She hits a DDT and Ambrose comes back in to the ring, raising his finger up. He lets Fandango rise and kicks the gut before dropping him with Dirty Deeds! AJ smiles at it, letting Summer rise. She locks her up in the Black Widow quickly, Summer looking around wildly in pain. She realizes fast that she has no choice but to submit to the hold. United States Champion Dean Ambrose and Diva's Champion AJ Lee def. Summer Rae and Fandango in 4:45.AJ lets go of the hold and gets on to her knees, Ambrose helping her on to her feet. The duo is brought their respective United States and Diva's Championship belts, handing them over. They hold the belts up high. "Yeah, yeah... they won tonight." JBL says on commentary with a scoff. "But that's nothing compared to what Wade Barrett and Paige will do later on and what they will do to take those belts from those nutcases on Sunday!" Still later to come, Barrett and Paige get involved in mixed tag action of their own as they take on Layla and her partner? Mark Henry! The cameras pan backstage to show Roman Reigns walking down the halls, taking some deep breaths on his way. He gets to go face-to-face with his Summerslam opponent... next.
The theme music of Roman Reigns hits to a big mixed reaction from the crowd, Reigns slowly making his way down to the ring with a determined look across his face. He takes a microphone from ringside and looks to the crowd. "This Sunday... I'm going in to the biggest match of my career thus far... bigger than any of the world championship matches I've had, bigger than my match against CM Punk on the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania... this Sunday I don't go toe-to-toe with any man, I go toe-to-toe with Brock Lesnar." The crowd gives a loud reaction mixed with cheers and boos for the mention of Lesnars name, Reigns saying this isn't just about himself and Paul Heyman, this is about him and Brock as well. He says that when Lesnar put his hands on him the night after Battleground: King of the Ring, he made this a fight worth fighting. As Reigns prepares to say more, Paul Heyman marches his way out to the stage and calls for the attention of the crowd with his signature 'ladies and gentlemen...' and the introduction of himself, saying that this Sunday at Summerslam his client, Brock Lesnar, will conquer Roman Reigns! "And not only will Brock Lesnar conquer you this Sunday, Roman... he will destroy, victimize and own you! Brock Lesnar is going to do what he said he was going to do two weeks ago in his exclusive interview and Brock Lesnar is going to make you his bitch!" Reigns snickers, saying he has heard enough out of Heyman and he just wants to get down to business. "So get your beast out here so I can look him in the eye before I kick his ass this Sunday..." The crowd agrees, Heyman growing a smile across his face. He turns towards the entrance, putting his hand out as the bone-chilling music of 'The Beast Incarnate' hits around the arena. Soon, Brock Lesnar makes his way out to the stage and the roof nearly comes off the building! He marches back and forth with his eyes widened, looking down to Reigns. He storms down the ramp and Heyman steps in front of him to keep him from coming in to the ring, Roman kneeling down while encouraging him to come at him. "You're gonna make me your bitch, huh?" Reigns shouts, stepping right up to the ropes. Heyman pulls back from Lesnar, letting him step towards the ring. He hops on to the apron as Reigns backs off and steps in, getting right in to his face! The two press foreheads with one another, not saying a single word. Finally, Lesnar pushes off and sends Reigns a few steps back. Roman laughs and snaps back with a big punch to the jaw! He throws a series of them, Lesnar ducking down in to the side. He shoves Reigns back in to the corner and slams shoulder after shoulder in to the gut! Reigns drops on to one knee as Brock backs away, 'The Beast Incarnate' laughing. He takes a look to Heyman, whom gives a big nod. Lesnar steps forward and is caught off-guard as Reigns pops to his feet, nailing a big Superman Punch! Reigns hits two more and Lesnar falls through the ropes, Roman giving out a ginormous roar to the crowd as he is absolutely fired up! Brock gets on to his feet on the outside and goes back and forth in anger, breathing heavily. Heyman holds him back and warns him about going back in to the ring, Lesnar storming all around the outside of the ring. He shoves the bell keeper out of the way and takes the steel chair, Heyman continuing to plead with his client! 'The Beast' steps forward and slams the chair repeatedly off the steel steps, letting out a primal scream! He throws the chair aside and backs all the way around the ring, Reigns smiling as he has gotten one over on Lesnar heading in to their big clash this Sunday at Summerslam!
Summerslam takes place this Sunday, August 17, 2014 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California live on pay-per-view and the WWE Network!
Back from break, Michael Cole goes over what just happened moments ago with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar ahead of their match this Sunday at Summerslam. "This is going to be a hell of a battle, guys." He says, getting agreement from JBL and Lawler. Soon after, Rusev's music hits and he makes his way out along with Lana. The duo come down and in to the ring, 'The Ravishing Russian' with a microphone in her hand. "Before Rusev crushes Kane this Sunday at Summerslam... The super-athlete that was hand-picked by Vladimir Putin himself is issuing an open challenge to anyone." She smiles as she looks up the stage, Rusev shouting in his native tongue up the ramp, waiting until the challenge is answered by none other than Big E!
Rusev (w/Lana) vs Big E: As soon as the match begins, the two big men throw heavy fists at each other. Rusev gains the upper hand after a hard kick to the gut, followed by some knees. Rusev flies off the ropes and returns with a leaping kick, Big E ducking away from it. He spins to 'The Bulgarian Brute' and hits him with a clothesline! Big E starts to get some momentum going and pulls his straps down after knocking Rusev to the mat. He tries to lift him for the Big Ending but Rusev manages to get free, hitting a sharp leaping kick to the jaw! He works Big E around the ring a bit before hitting him with a Samoan Drop, following up with a stomp to the low back and The Accolade right after. Big E struggles about in the hold, showing some heart by trying as hard as he can to break out of it. Having no place to go, he taps out from the pain. Rusev def. Big E in 4:24.
Rusev continues to wrench away back and forth at Big E, shouting to the crowd in the process. Suddenly, a big red pyro comes from the stage! Rusev lets go of Big E, letting him roll out of the ring. As Rusev is prepared for the arrival of 'The Big Red Monster', Kane comes in to the ring from behind and the screams of Lana are too late as Rusev turns right in to a big boot! Rusev stumbles back on to his feet, turning right to the grasp of Kane around his throat! As he tries to get free, he manages to get his finger to the eye beneath the mask and roll out of the ring to boos from the WWE Universe. Rusev staggers up the ramp as fast as he can with Lana in tow, Kane stepping up to the ropes while breathing heavily. "Rusev is going to have nowhere to run this Sunday, guys!" Lawler says on commentary ahead of their match at Summerslam.
Back from the break, Michael Cole stammers over his words over the reveal of the cryptic 'Rise From the Dead' messages being Sting! "And he is calling out The Undertaker... this Sunday!?" Lawler says, noting how Summerslam was going to be big already but this just makes it even bigger than before and he, for one, cannot wait until this Sunday night!
Backstage, Big E is walking backstage with a disappointed look on his face. He takes a seat on a production trunk and up to him walks Kofi Kingston, whom pats him on the shoulder. "Hey E... I know how you feel... but I've been doing some thinking and I've been doing some searching... and I think you and I should talk to a friend of mine... he can help the both of us get on track." Big E says he isn't sure but Kingston assures him that it won't be like the last time, he promises they can stay on the same page. He wraps his arm around Big E and tells him to trust him. They head off together, Kingston assuring that this is definitely worth Big E's time.
The Purge vs CM Punk, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio: The bell sounds, Punk starting things off with Owens. The crowd is rumbling for them to fight but Owens tags out to Crowe, laughing as he drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Punk shakes his head and takes it out on Crowe, dominating him early on. Solomon hits a thumb to the eye once he gets the chance, making frequent tags with Zayn to keep control for his team. Punk avoids the Helluva Kick from Sami, however, rattling him with a kick to the back of the head! He tags in Orton and he rushes in to the ring, clotheslining Zayn repeatedly. As he gets fired up, Sami rolls out of the ring off a big dropkick as a commercial break comes. After the break, Zayn has gained back control after Owens hit Del Rio from behind during the time away, allowing things to turn quickly in the favor of The Purge. The trio completely dominate the match but after a missed cannonball on Del Rio from Owens, Alberto makes the hot tag to Punk and, finally, he gets his hands on his heated rival! After some ferocious kicks and a bulldog coming out of the corner, Punk gets back up and yells to the crowd. He grows a smile across his face, setting up for the GTS on Owens. Before he can hit it, however, the WWE Tag Team Champions storm the ring and attack from behind! They completely go off on Punk, leaving the referee with no choice but to call a DQ on them. CM Punk, Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio def. The Purge via disqualification in 13:10.
The crowd boos as Orton and Del Rio come in to the ring, throwing fists at The Purge. Shortly after, Punk gets to his feet and makes it an even three-on-three. Owens and Punk end up going to the outside, brawling with one another. Meanwhile in the ring, Orton drops Zayn with an RKO right in the middle of the squared circle! Crowe comes charging forward with a clothesline but 'The Viper' ducks it, Del Rio catching his arm while flipping him to the mat with the Rolling Cross Armbar! He wrenches away at it and refuses to let up, Crowe tapping to obviously no avail. On the outside, Punk hits Owens with the Go To Sleep to a tremendous pop from the crowd! Kevin falls across the announce table and Punk looks all around the arena, slowly making his way on to the ring apron. He goes to the top rope and keeps the Portland crowd going as he points to the sky in homage to Randy Savage, leaping off with the elbow drop right through the chest of Owens - crashing through the table! The Moda Center goes wild as Del Rio and Orton get out of the ring, checking on Punk. As officials, referees and medics come down to ringside Punk gets to his feet in the arms of Del Rio and Orton, whom pat him on the back as they have managed to get one over on The Purge just six days away from their very big, very personal matches!
Transitioning to the back, Cody Rhodes is seen walking around as he will address what has happened in recent months with himself and his brother Goldust. Also, Cody apparently has what he is calling a 'very, very important announcement'!
Following the break, the theme music of Cody Rhodes hits to majority boos from the Oregon fans. He makes his way down to the ring slowly, coming in to the middle of it with a microphone in his hand. After taking a moment to look around the arena, he finally speaks up. "Lately, not only have all of you people accused me of things... but so has my family. They think that I'm not the little Cody that they have come to know and love... as a matter of fact, they've described me with one word: Crazy." He scratches his head and laughs, saying that just because at times he gets angry and agitated and takes it out on others doesn't make him crazy, it just makes him a much more dangerous man than people give him credit for. "I tried to save my partnership with my brother... but he just hasn't understood that I can't carry the whole load by myself. I've got a fire in me that he just doesn't share." Rhodes looks around the arena again before looking to the stage, asking his brother to come out here because he wants to do this right.
After a short wait, Goldust makes his way out from the back and comes down to the ring with a somber look in his eyes. He tries to speak but Cody cuts him off, telling him to listen. "We've had a long, long road together, brother... not just as siblings, but as a tag team. Hell, we went to WrestleMania this year in a fatal four way ladder match and we came damn close to winning those titles... but you know what? We didn't. We haven't. We never will... and who is at fault, brother? Who is at fault?" Goldust tries to reason with him but Rhodes snaps, saying it is not his fault, so it must be his brother's! He explains that he has poured his heart and soul in to this team and over the months, it has just made him snap. "You can call me crazy, brother, but you will always be wrong... the entire family can call me crazy, but they will always be wrong... and this Sunday, they'll be wrong again." He stares at Goldust and explains that he has set up a match between them on the Summerslam Kickoff. "Cody... come on..." Goldust tries to reason, only to get shut down. Rhodes yells at him again, saying that he has had enough of him holding him back and this Sunday he is going to make up for everything. "I'm going to beat that stupid paint off of your face, brother... and after I am done with you... Dad will finally have a son he can be proud of." The WWE Universe gives a sharp 'ooh' at the harsh words as Rhodes starts to walk away, only to stop himself at the ropes. He turns around and drops his brother to the mat with a hard shot to the back of the head! The crowd boos in disgust as he puts the boots to his own brother, finally picking him back up before tossing him shoulder first in to the steel post! An evil grin slowly forms across the face of Cody as multiple officials come to ringside to check on Goldust while also keeping Rhodes at bay, as these two will battle one another on Sunday.
Wade Barrett and Paige (w/The Commonwealth) vs Mark Henry and Layla: The match starts with Barrett and Henry, the prior trying to talk 'The World's Strongest Man' down. Henry puts his hands up and starts to back up, Barrett telling him he is making the right decision. Mark, however, charges forward with a big clothesline! Henry completely dominates early and even mocks The Commonwealth on the outside, which allows Barrett to make a desperate tag to Paige. She comes in despite not seeming to want to, which allows Layla to get the advantage early on. Paige rattles her with a forearm, however, and starts to hit her with multiple slams. After Henry tags himself back in, Barrett comes in much to his chagrin. As he tries to work away at Mark, Dean Ambrose and AJ Lee make their way down the ramp with smiles across their faces. The United States Champion has a bag of popcorn and shares it with the Diva's Champ, throwing pieces of it at the rest of The Commonwealth, angering them. Barrett leans over the ropes and yell at them to knock it off, which allows Henry to catch him on the turnaround in set up for the World's Strongest Slam! Barrett manages to elbow his way free just barely, however, ducking a clothesline and hitting a big boot! He inverts his elbow pad and points to Ambrose on the outside, warning him that he is going to do this to him on Sunday. Henry rises up and turns right in to the Bullhammer Elbow! Henry crumbles to the mat and Barrett gets the pinfall.
Wade Barrett and Paige def. Mark Henry and Layla in 5:11. Barrett gets back on to his feet and stares to the outside with an aggravated look on his face. As he goes to say something, Ambrose throws his whole bag of popcorn at McIntyre and shoves him back in to Regal, Sandow and Rose! They all fall to the floor together, Ambrose and Lee hitting the ring! They tackle Barrett and Paige to the ground respectively and tee off with fists of fury! McIntyre and Regal get in to the ring, however, yanking Ambrose off. They drag him to his feet and throw him up in to the corner, McIntyre hitting a boot to the face. Rose, meanwhile, is taking AJ off of Paige while holding her in a full nelson. He keeps her back and, simultaneously, Barrett hits the Bullhammer Elbow on Ambrose and Paige the Paige Turner on Lee. For the first time in a long time, the king and queen of The Commonwealth look to each other with smiles on their faces, slowly pulling the United States and Diva's Championship belts off the mat. They hold them over their heads in unison, in a sight that could be seen this Sunday at Summerslam.
The entrance music of the polarizing John Cena hits and he bursts out from the back, looking to the loud, mixed reacting crowd with his hands out. After coming down and in to the ring, he snatches up a microphone from ringside and looks out to the WWE Universe. "Well, well, well... it seems like Portland sure is glad to see me!" He says with a grin, getting another big mixture of cheers and boos. "Don't you worry, I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet because I got a match here tonight against that man right there..." He points to the outside at Tyson Kidd. He stands along with his wife Natalya, Cena saying that while he plans on putting Kidd to school he has one hell of a match to look forward to on Sunday as he goes toe-to-toe with another up and coming guy in the name of Antonio Cesaro. "You see, Antonio thinks I've disrespected him but Portland, y'all know I am all about hustle, loyalty and respect and this Sunday in Los Angeles at Summerslam I'm gonna show Cesaro just why he is making a big mistake trying to get in the race against the man that runs the place!" He tosses the mike aside and removes his shirt and cap, tossing them out to the crowd as Kidd enters the ring, pulling off his headphones.
John Cena vs Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya): "Did you say something?" Kidd says with a laugh as the bell rings, Cena locking up with him. After a smack across the face by Tyson, Cena goes off on him with shot after shot to the face followed by repeated shoulder blocks and slams. On an early Five Knuckle Shuffle attempt, Kidd rolls Cena up for a close two count. Both men get back up and Tyson hits a drop toe hold, applying many submission holds on Cena. He settles on a single leg Boston Crab and Cena struggles a bit in the hold. Eventually, however, he manages to get to the ropes. After getting back up, Kidd runs at Cena and gets caught on his shoulders for an apparent Attitude Adjustment, Kidd managing to flip off of him and land on the apron. Tyson springboards off the ropes and nails a DDT, getting another near fall! Kidd is furious and snaps with repeated kicks to the chest of Cena, rattling him all the way back in to the corner. Cena catches one, however, pushing Kidd back. He hits him with a shoulder block and a second one, following up with a spinout slam. After the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Cena hits right in the middle of the ring the Attitude Adjustment. He hooks the outside leg for the three count. John Cena def. Tyson Kidd in 6:20.
Cena gets back on to his feet and raises his hands up in signature taunt to the crowd. He turns up the ramp, however, to see Antonio Cesaro and Paul Heyman coming out from the back. After some jawing back and forth, Cesaro comes rushing down to the ring with an approval by Heyman, getting in and exchanging shots with Cena. He shoves John back against the ropes and lets him come right back to the pop-up uppercut! John collapses to the mat and Cesaro takes the opportunity to slip out of the ring and drag Cena along, pulling him between his legs with a big grin across his face. After cranking his neck, he delivers the Neutralizer right on to the floor! The Portland crowd meets him with majority boos as he rises on to his feet slowly, waving his hand in front of his face in order to mock Cena, even saying "You can't see me!" in the process. He and Heyman make their way around the ring and towards the back with a message sent.
Back from the break, The Commonwealth are seen in their locker room area backstage. As it appears Barrett is gloating about how they took down Dean Ambrose and AJ Lee earlier on, in to the room by himself comes Damien Sandow. Barrett stops his track and turns to Sandow, his hands on his hips. "Damien, glad you can actually join us!" Barrett says with a stern tone. "If you could... explain to me what in the bloody hell you were doing out there just watching on as we dominated Ambrose and AJ?" Sandow is silent at first before speaking up, saying he just doesn't know if he wants to be a part of this anymore. Barrett is baffled, asking what he could possibly be thinking! "I've had enough, Wade. I've had enough of sitting back and not having my opportunity... now I've found one. With all due respect, I'm done with The Commonwealth..." He heads out of the room, Barrett screaming for him to come back! The WWE Universe, on the other hand, chants 'Yes!' to the decision of Sandow from inside of the arena, Barrett shaking his head and telling the remaining Commonwealth members to forget about Sandow, they don't need him and they won't need him Sunday when Paige and himself win their match.
Elsewhere, Renee Young is standing by with her guest at this time - Roman Reigns. The fans give a solid pop for him as he steps forward with a smile across his face, Renee thanking him for his time before his upcoming match. She notes how earlier on, he had his confrontation with Brock Lesnar and held his own and just wants to know how he is feeling now not only going in to this big main event against The Wyatt Family, but this Sunday at Summerslam against Brock. "Renee, I've always been a confident guy... but I think people now, if they didn't already, realize I am indeed a force to be reckoned with. Sunday, Brock is going to get even more of my fist force fed down his throat... and so is The Wyatt Family tonight." Up walks the WWE Champion, Bryan Danielson, to a huge ovation from the crowd. After a short stare down, Reigns extends his hand and Danielson accepts it. "You know, Roman... yeah, you've always been confident. But what your downfall was before, aside from being along with Paul Heyman... was that you were confident without having proved yourself... but now, you have definitely proven yourself and I am honored to have you as my partner here tonight." With the WWE Universe cheering the two, Reigns gives an appreciative nod and says that maybe one day, he'll get another crack at Bryan and his title. "But tonight... you and I are gonna go out there and rough up The Wyatt Family." Roman and Bryan fist bump and head off for the main event coming up next!
WWE Champion Bryan Danielson and Roman Reigns vs The Wyatt Family in a Two-on-Three Handicap Match: The bell is rung, Reigns starting off with Rowan. The two big men confront each other before getting in to a shoving match, which turns to hard fists back and forth. Reigns gets the upper hand but as he comes flying off the ropes, he is dropped with a boot! Harper and Rowan wear him down with frequent tags, Wyatt the whole time staring Danielson down with a sick grin across his face. As Reigns finally rocks Harper enough, he starts to crawl to his corner. However, Bray tags himself in and charges across the ring - taking Reigns by the hair and back to the middle of the ring, setting him up for Sister Abigail! "Take a look in to your future, Bryan!" He shouts, only to have Roman burst free and drop him with a Samoan Drop! The hot tag is made to Danielson shortly as Wyatt crawls and tags Rowan in at the same time. The WWE Champion storms in and rocks Rowan to the mat with rapid and repeated dropkicks, eventually sending him in to Harper through the ropes and on to Bray! With Reigns getting back to his feet, he gets the crowd fired up as Danielson proceeds to deliver Air Goat to all three members of The Wyatt Family! The 'Yes!' chants fill the arena with Bryan leading the way as a commercial comes in the middle of the match. After the break, Danielson is held down on the mat by Harper. He uses his size to keep the WWE Champion grounded and holds him in a sleeper hold after standing him up, letting him look to Wyatt. "YOUR DAY OF RECKONING IS NEAR, BRYAN! THE PRESSURE WILL BE LIFTED FROM YOUR SHOULDERS!" Shouts 'The Eater of Worlds', which actually manages to get Bryan fired up enough to find a way out of the grasp of Harper, hitting him with vicious kicks to the sides and legs. He is caught and whipped to the corner, only to run right up the corner and flip over Harper! Luke spins around and turns right in to the Busaiku Knee! The crowd goes wild as Danielson hooks the legs, Rowan coming in to the ring and breaking it up just in time! Reigns rushes in to the ring and storms at Rowan, planting him with the Spear right in the middle of the ring! Roman pops back up with a roar and he charges right at Wyatt with the Superman Punch as he tries to get in to the ring! Harper staggers back to his feet along with Bryan, getting smashed with a Superman Punch as well! Luke stumbles around in a circle and turns right in to a second Busaiku Knee, Bryan scrambling over and hooking both legs up for the one, two, three! WWE Champion Bryan Danielson and Roman Reigns def. The Wyatt Family in 16:34.
The Moda Center explodes as Danielson rolls on to his back, Reigns patting him on the chest as he does with a smile. After some replays are shown and the commentators break them down, we head back live in to the arena where the 'Yes!' chants are built up again with Reigns taking the WWE Championship belt from ringside. He steps up to Danielson in the middle of the ring and after a moment, hands it over to him with a smile. Bryan raises the title over his head and, with Roman helping, leads the crowd on with his signature chant. In the mean time outside of the ring, Wyatt has a furious look across his face from against the announce table. "YOUR DAY OF RECKONING IS COMING, BRYAN! YOUR DAY OF RECKONING IS COMING THIS SUNDAY!" He warns again, which Danielson pays no attention to but rather pumps the WWE Championship up against the ropes and in the face of Wyatt as Monday Night Raw draws to an end!

- Go home show before SummerSlam, SummerSlam is in less than 6 days 6 nights away from the biggest party of the summer and honestly the final card for SummerSlam is definitely looking good, it is stacked all the way throughout and honestly enough about that, let's talk about RAW right now
- Bray Wyatt The One in 21-1, 2014 King of the Ring winner and #1 Contender for the WWE Championship addressing Danielson the WWE Champion trying to play mind games yet again with Danielson trying to bring out the monster in Danielson well whatever Wyatt is doing right now trying to egg Danielson on trying to manipulate him into being a monster or bringing the monster out in him it seems to be working because the only way Danielson could ever hope to beat Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam would be to kick it into a higher gear or the monster is going to have to come out but either way I love how you built up this segment the final face to face for these 2 before their epic main event match at SummerSlam and considering how it was last year in this diary in 2013 that Bray Wyatt made his first SummerSlam appearance when he beat Jeff Hardy in an Inferno Match this year he is in the main event for the WWE Championship against Bryan Danielson, but a huge main event set for tonight with Danielson the WWE Champion teaming up with Roman Reigns to face all 3 members of the Wyatt Family in a 2 on 3 Handicap Match I wonder if Lesnar will be watching this main event? Or if somehow Lesnar will interfere in this main event? Or show up post-match?
- Neville's undefeated streak is over, he is no longer undefeated well his undefeated streak had to end sometime but to see Seth Rollins Mr. Money in the Bank be the one to end it, I mean Rollins needs as much momentum heading into SummerSlam considering his Money in the Bank briefcase is on the line but also so is AJ Styles' WWE Intercontinental Championship pretty much in a Winner Takes All Match, high stakes but at the same time Neville has nothing to be ashamed of I mean he lost to a superstar higher up on the food chain but at the same time he more than held his own here against Rollins in this match but seeing AJ Styles the WWE Intercontinental Champion on commentary for this match I figured that Styles would have gotten involved in this match by causing a distraction but somehow he didn't and I have to wonder why? Because it has never stopped AJ before
- WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose & WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee beating the team of Fandango and Summer Rae, this was obviously a warm-up before their big match at SummerSlam considering these 2 have to defend their respective titles against Wade Barrett and Paige of The Commonwealth in a Mixed Gender Tag Team Match where it is Winner Takes All and the champions need as much momentum heading into SummerSlam but seeing as how Ambrose and AJ have been teaming a lot lately I would say that they will not only get along at SummerSlam but seeing as how they are both nutcases who have a common enemy in The Commonwealth preferably Wade Barrett and Paige then I will say they will have no problem in defending their titles
- Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar face to face same ring at the same time with these 2 face to face like that and these 2 going at it, Reigns he is in for the fight of his career not just in for the fight of his career but his life because this is not only going to be a collision this is going to be a war, but notice how it took Reigns not 1, not 2 but 3 Superman Punches that he had to hit on Lesnar just to take Lesnar down, that should just show you just how much of a beast Lesnar truly is but after that I can expect Lesnar to show up in tonight's main event the main event being WWE Champion Danielson & Reigns vs The Wyatt Family
- Rusev beating Big E. an opponent who is not only just as big as Rusev but just as strong in terms of size and strength, this was a pure collision but at the same time Rusev coming out on top, it is like Rusev is on a roll and that no one can stop him because let's face it no one has been able to because he has been undefeated all this time but seeing Kane tee off on Rusev post-match and Rusev getting out of dodge again this just proves my point that Rusev is seemingly afraid of Kane because every time it has always been Kane having the upper hand but also Kane is not like all the other opponents that Rusev has faced but at SummerSlam it is definitely going to be a collision between these 2
- Big E. backstage with his former New Nation of Domination stablemate Kofi as they are face to face as Kofi is talking to him about teaming together again but that they are also going to be teaming with another friend, that is obviously Xavier Woods, IT'S A NEW DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YES IT IS!!!
- Punk, Del Rio and Orton beating The Purge by DQ, a DQ loss for the Purge doesn't really hurt him whereas a clean loss would have but a DQ win for the veterans yes it gives them momentum heading into their respective matches at SummerSlam but a clean win would have really have done wonders for them but at the same time you have in a sense protected both teams here results wise but at the same time seeing a brawl ensue to cause the DQ and then post-match everything turning into an absolute melee just goes to show you that their respective matches at SummerSlam are going to be matches worth watching
- Rise From The Dead, the messages, the long awaited promos, it is The Icon The Vigilante Sting, Sting is going to be at SummerSlam, Sting's first SummerSlam as a member of the WWE but Sting is calling out Taker at SummerSlam but will Taker be at SummerSlam to answer Sting's call-out?
- Cody Rhodes vs Goldust at SummerSlam, Brother vs Brother I mean this has been building and building for a long, long time now and honestly I can't wait to see these 2 brothers go at it I wonder how their father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes would feel about his sons going at it? This reminds me of any good sibling rivalry like Bret/Owen or Matt/Jeff or Edge/Christian or Taker/Kane seeing these 2 go at it at SummerSlam especially on the Kick Off Show, what a perfect way to kick off SummerSlam
- Seeing Wade Barrett & his girlfriend Paige of The Commonwealth beating Mark Henry & Layla in a Mixed Gender Tag Team Match, obviously a preview of things to come at SummerSlam considering Barrett & Paige have to face the WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose and the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee in a Mixed Gender Tag Team Winner Takes All Match, and since Ambrose & AJ won earlier on in the night winning their match you obviously want to give Barrett & Paige momentum heading into SummerSlam too but not even a distraction from Ambrose and AJ was enough because Barrett & Paige still got the job done and then afterwards post-match had the last laugh as they and The Commonwealth laid waste to both AJ and Ambrose, I definitely can't wait until SummerSlam to see these 4 go at it
- Cena beating Kidd before his match at SummerSlam against Cesaro, this was definitely a good match for Cena to have but at the same time Kidd is no Antonio Cesaro and add to the fact that Cesaro has Heyman in his corner Heyman proves instrumental at ringside and not to mention Cena has never been in the ring with an opponent like Cesaro but at the same time Cesaro has never been in the ring with someone like Cena but at the same time this is the match that will not only steal the show but this match could potentially make or break Cesaro's career as a main eventer in this diary but seeing Cesaro lay waste to Cena like that post match he definitely has made a believer out of me now
- Sandow leaving The Commonwealth, this is almost a guarantee that now he is about to become Mizdow I put my house on it that he will become Mizdow considering how he had Miz's card and Miz must have gotten to him on some level but I think him leaving The Commonwealth only to align himself with Miz could prove to be a mistake
- Seeing the WWE Champion Danielson backstage face to face with Reigns like this, at one time these 2 were rivals and now they are allies who would have ever have thought it?
- And in the main event Danielson & Reigns overcome the odds and beat not one but all 3 members of The Wyatt Family in a 2 on 3 Handicap Match, you can bet Lesnar he was watching this match somewhere but I fully expected Lesnar to show up in this match either during the match or during post match to get his revenge on Reigns for what happened earlier on tonight but Lesnar he will get his revenge sooner or later at SummerSlam but whereas Danielson the WWE Champion he keeps finding ways to win finding ways to one-up Bray Wyatt, Harper and Rowan every chance he gets but sooner or later his luck is about to run out

First off let me just echo everyone else by saying this Summerslam card is beyond stacked. In my opinion it's even better than Wrestlemania from a card stand point. Fair warning also, this is my first review so sorry if it's a bit shaky. The opening segment of RAW was very good, it did it's job perfectly in getting the viewer hyped for Summerslam. I honestly don't see Danielson walking out with the championship sunday, but this is the WWE and anything can happen. I understand that Neville's win streak had to be beaten at some point but damn it that doesn't mean I won't shake my fist in anger that it's over! Kidding, I think it was a smart decision to have Rollins go over as it gives him tons of momentum heading into 'Slam. Side note, I think Rollins/Styles is one of the matches i'm most hyped for. Ambrose and Lee going over was nice and was a given. The face to face with Reigns and Brock was very intense and that was to be expected when you have two beasts. I only started reading around Cyber Sunday so I don't fully know the history of Heyman/Reigns but from the little bits and pieces you've explained, it's easy for a new reader to catch up. Great win for Rusev, especially considering he's going to be stepping into the ring with Kane at Summerslam. New Day being teased? Awwwww yes. If it isn't clear from my sim's name, i'm a huge New Day mark. Love all three guys and if Xavier is indeed the third man I can't wait to see how you handle them. The Purge losing by DQ was smart and well thought out to get a win to Punk, Del Rio, and Orton. I know many didn't like The Purge at first but let me just say I flipped crapwhen I read the debut after Mania. Owens is my favorite and Crowe is my third favorite so it all fell into place with my heart. Solid unit you've built and I can't wait for the Summerslam matches with them. Sting calling out 'Taker at Summerslam? Whoa. That elevates the already stacked Slam card even higher. I'm curious as to who will be the heel and who will be the face in the feud. Should be an interesting read none the less. While I love that Cody and Goldust are finally facing, I dislike that it's on the Kickoff. Though not too much considering how stacked the rest of the card is anyways. Mark Henry and Layla? Bring in Candice and Joey to have a intergender tag division with belts, kidding. Solid match and much like the first intergender tag match, it was clear who'd walk out the winner. Cena over Kidd was a great match to give Cena. Kidd would make him look like a million bucks and Cena could easily return the favor while still going over. Cesaro/Cena will be a great match and I can't wait for it. Danielson and Reigns beating the Wyatt's was a eyebrow raiser and unexpected for me. I thought the three on two advantage would be too much to overcome but clearly not, this just gets me even more excited for 'Slam as now it's unclear who will walk out of the pay-per-view with the WWE Championship. The Yes Movement, or the Buzzards? Excellent Raw and hopefully this review was easy to read. Very excited for Summerslam and can't wait to see the outcomes!

I wonder where Show is? Big Show he hasn't been seen or heard from since Rusev beat him at Extreme Rules so it begs the question of where Big Show is or when he will return but also will he return as a babyface or as a heel?
As for Sheamus we know he is on the shelf and he will be for the next while but as for Triple H and Stephanie I can't see them returning especially since Bischoff is the GM and he is in charge unless Triple H and Stephanie come back as babyfaces but as for The Rock I can see him returning on the Road to WrestleMania 31 to build a program/feud with someone or Rock returns by simply just making an appearance at WrestleMania 31

- Dolph Ziggler has yet to be cleared by doctors after his concussion, but they plan to re-evaluate him every week here on out. The hope is that Ziggler can return soon, as he was in the process of a fresh heel run that was helping him with some progression up the card again.
- Sting was confirmed on Monday Night Raw to be the one behind the 'Rise From the Dead' cryptic messages, calling out The Undertaker for Summerslam. This will be just the second appearance in a WWE ring for Sting and is likely the first time he will speak. The Undertaker is expected to answer the call for their second confrontation.
- It was reported here recently that the WWE was considering bringing back the brand split and while that is still a possibility, it would likely require the company to bring back the World Heavyweight Championship less than a year after the unification match between Brock Lesnar and CM Punk last December. Those within the WWE are said to be split on bringing back two brands as they feel the current one brand has been working well the past couple of years.
- Bray Wyatt and Bryan Danielson will main event Summerslam this Sunday, according to multiple reports. While Wyatt is the overwhelming favorite after ending the streak and winning the King of the Ring tournament, there has been some argument brought up that Bryan Danielson could walk out victorious after Bray's primary domination in the feud thus far. It certainly helps make the match a bit less predictable, but Wyatt remains the overwhelming favorite and prediction to win by most.
- The Night of Champions poster has been released and may provide a spoiler. It can be viewed here. With the feature being AJ Styles, it could indicate he may be winning this Sunday at Summerslam versus Seth Rollins.

Ziggler will be coming back as a heel I say that is great because Ziggler his run as a heel was not only fresh but he was rising up the card in the sense of being a main event guy which Ziggler is but Ziggler who will he feud with? Now that is the million dollar question now isn't it? Sting speaking I can't wait to see what he says about Taker or to Taker's face and seeing how Taker responds or what he does I say don't bring back the brand split but if you do decide to bring it back then you will get no argument here from me Bray Wyatt better win this Sunday at SummerSlam because after the year he's had after how he has been booked I mean if he doesn't win the title on Sunday against Danielson then it will be a wasted opportunity Night of Champions poster with AJ Styles as the cover boy for it, I love it, AJ's first cover but I can see AJ losing his title only to win it back at NOC because let's face it Rollins he doesn't really need the WWE Intercontinental Championship considering he is already Mr Money in the Bank and he can cash in his briefcase

I do feel bad for not consistently keeping up with replies, my hoeski. With SummerSlam so close, I'll choose to wait until then to begin getting back on the track of things. I will, however, give predictions for the big event, which I'll say has been one of your better built events recently. Probably since WrestleMania. Anywho....
- Since WrestleMania, a Bray Wyatt WWE Championship reign has seemingly been in the cards. Definitely see it finally happening at SummerSlam, as it should. As much as I love Danielson, him retaining would be the most disappointing possible outcome of the entire show. Wyatt hasn't been made to look as strong as he should have since ending The Undertaker's Streak. This NEEDS to be his moment, and I think it will be. - I do think that Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns could have used more time to be built up. The match, along with Reigns' face turn, seemed rushed. However, I do expect the match to be great, much like it was at WrestleMania in real life. Bork wins, but Reigns puts on a strong showing. - Simply put, Kevin Owens needs to go over CM Punk in this No Holds Barred match, and I can't imagine that NOT happening. Owens wins, and I'll also go out on a limb and say that this loss for Punk begins the road to his retirement. Have to think that had he stuck around in real life up to this point, the end of his career wouldn't be very far off at all. - Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles is an incredibly intriguing match since I personally believe that neither superstar needs the prize that they're opposing. Rollins doesn't need the Intercontinental Championship, especially after his lengthy run last year. Along with that, it wouldn't make much sense for Rollins to lose the briefcase. I'll predict Rollins winning, but he doesn't hold onto the Intercontinental Title for very long. - I see John Cena going over Antonio Cesaro, but the opposite result is really what should happen. After such a lackluster run with the WWE Championship, Cesaro needs a big win to rebound. - The WWE Tag Team Championship match is quite odd if I'm honest, but would make for a fine match. No chance of Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio winning, though. The Purge retains fo sho. - Huge fan of the Mixed Tag Team match. It's a great way to get both championships defended on the show, and I'm biased because I love three of the four participants (lolf***offwade). Ambrose and AJ retain, though, to continue to downfall of the Commonwealth. - I feel that Rusev could have had a better match for SummerSlam, but Kane will do. Rusev obviously wins and puts Kane out for the foreseeable future. - Very much looking forward to the meeting between Sting and The Undertaker. I have to think that a match for WrestleMania 31 will be confirmed here. - My bias makes me wish that Cody vs. Goldy was on the main card, but I understand that everything else on the show had priority over it. Eerie timing to be doing this program. Nonetheless, I believe and hope that Cody wins.
Hoeski.

RAW: - Decent enough opening, nothing spectacular but it does the job of hyping up your big title match. - Big win for Rollins, sounds like it would of been a good match. I'm not really into the title vs. briefcase stipulation because I just don't want to see a guy holding both of those, it seems counter productive to me when someone is just going to have to lost the title before cashing in the briefcase. The other only way around it is some kind of dirty finish which seems too obvious. It's a lose-lose in my book. - I am digging the inter-gender double title match though, that should be a lot of fun. Good build for it too with these two warm up matches. - Romans looked strong right there, and that's what you need if you want him to be a believable threat to Lesnar. Realistically I'm hoping for a Lesnar win with Roman coming out of it as a real threat. - Meh, decent squash for Rusev, I find it hard to get too excited for a Kane feud these days though. - Looking forward to the Sting / Undertaker confrontation, that's what we should of got right from the start in real life. - Looks like we're getting The New Day, hopefully you can skip the boring start and jump straight to them actually being one of the best parts of the show. - Not a big fan of The Purge looking so weak just before Summerslam, that segment wouldn't exactly get my anticipation up for their big matches at the pay per view. The thing is you've built up the Purge's Summerslam matches over a long period of time, so the momentum is already there, you don't really need to have this massive face over heel beatdown thing to help it, it just doesn't work in my eyes. - I dig that we're getting a proper Rhodes brother feud, though a bit disappointed that they're shunted off onto the pre-show. Should be a good one though. - I enjoyed the little Ambrose popcorn bit, and this this time round it makes sense that the heels stand tall. - Some good build for Cena / Cesaro, I'd love to see Cesaro go over in this one after his abysmal booking as champion a couple of months ago. - I'm in two minds about the main event. While it makes sense to get Danielson and Reigns some momentum heading into Summerslam I've always hated this idea that just because there's two faces that they should be able to go over an established heel stable clean. It makes the Wyatt's look weak and I think there was a better way to do this. - A good show with some solid build for Summerslam, which has a really great card and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.
