allright, what time is it it's SMACKDOWN time. And what better way to kick off between Danielson and Orton in the ring together.
Great match with Seth Rollins and The Miz, obviously gives Rollins momentum before his match with Sheamus at Battleground.
Nice win for The Usos but Ryback is on the Usos's tail again. I wonder who Ryback's going to find as his partner hope it's someone good.
I still think Ohno and Cesaro are going to break up eventually,
nice segment with Batista and Stephanie as well.
Cody and Goldust get one over on Ziggler too. Ziggler had that coming.
AJ and Ambrose, ha ha ha weird team. But you know I'd be really surprised that these two will be a couple. If anything you should make AJ and Ambrose into a couple, that can happen.
Nice challenge by Bray issuing a fight to Jeff Hardy at Battleground and a win against Sin Cara clearly puts him in a great battle with Jeff Hardy. Can Hardy end the streak of Bray Wyatt or will Hardy be overcomed by four of these monsters, cause we know Harper, Rowan, Show and Wyatt are very strange monsters and it's going to be a tough task for Hardy to overcome, but I think Hardy could win this one, might happen so we might have to wait and see.
No don't let Swagger and Colter burn Rey's mask, I hope it signals the return of Kane if anything, since they said something about "burning" it could be the perfect time to make Kane return but burning Rey's mask is definitely a no no.
Another great victory for the team of Batista and Cena. The Odd Team that's been rivals for very long and now they are team mates defeating CM Punk and Roman Reigns, I'm assuming Punk and Reigns will be joined up in the near future. Think about this, Punk. Reigns. Heyman. Lesnar. Triple H and Stephanie in all one group, that would be a hell of an Authority group, there is definitely an Authority on the horizon, we don't know but I'm saying that there is going to be a horizon as all these 6 could potentially join up but wer'e going to wait and see at Battleground.
But great show, I just finished up my show just moments ago, funny that you and I just done all our shows late at night, but leave a reply to my WWF 1994 Diary.

Danielson and Orton in the ring and it ending in chaos was great, I would definitely say Orton is in the head of the World Heavyweight Champion that Orton was playing mind games with Danielson and Danielson could admit all he wants that Orton is wrong but deep down he knows that Orton is right but then it ending in Orton trying to attack Danielson only for him to turn it around and hit the Running Knee on Orton and then lock in the Yes Lock afterwards I would say advantage goes back to Danielson but can he get the job done in 10 days at Battleground retaining his World Heavyweight Championship?
Seth Rollins beating Miz yes it obviously gives Rollins even more momentum heading into Battleground especially now that he is going to be facing Sheamus for the WWE Intercontinental Championship and considering Rollins the lengthy reign he has had the awesome run he has been on, will it all come to an end? Or will he find another way to win?
The Usos beating PTP, I definitely could say that now The Usos are getting better and better not only as a tag team but are getting better and better as WWE Tag Team Champions as they are really coming into their own now and Ryback keeps showing up telling us that he is going to find himself a tag team partner well whoever it is I can see Ryback having a mystery partner with his mystery partner being revealed at Battleground
As for Ohno and Cesaro I would say their break-up has been teased at for so long that at this point it is either they should break up or stay together like they need to make up their damn minds but at the same time I see these 2 breaking up because the tension has been there for so long like it is almost like a powder keg just waiting to go off
As for Batista & Stephanie's segment I really loved that too
Cody and Goldust getting one over on Ziggler was great too, Ziggler definitely had it coming and Ziggler it is like ever since he lost the World Heavyweight Championship it is like he is in a tailspin, almost like a downward spiral but I wonder what Ziggler will do to get back into the swing of things?
WWE Divas Champion AJ and WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose beating Kaitlyn and Wade Barrett, definite odd couples here in this mixed gender tag team match but at the same time we haven't had a mixed gender tag match on Smackdown in a while but seeing AJ and Ambrose go over their respective rivals just gives them even more momentum over them
Bray Wyatt lays down the gauntlet to Jeff Hardy for Battleground and Bray Wyatt picking up even more momentum by beating Sin Cara just gives him even more of an edge against Hardy that and he has Harper, Rowan and Big Show by his side but can Jeff Hardy overcome the odds at Battleground? Or will the Wyatts just prove to be too much for him? Either way Jeff can't hope to fight or win this war on his own
Swagger and Colter burning Rey's mask, can you say definite heel heat to the max? I know I can but I think this is just setting up towards Rey's eventual return anyway which I have no doubt he will return at Battleground
Batista and Cena that is a dream team right there, 2 of perhaps the biggest faces of the Ruthless Aggression Era both of their careers taking off at generally the same time at WrestleMania 21 and they have been friends they have been enemies and now they are teaming together again to face the team of Punk and Reigns in the main event, this is something special right here if you ask me but seeing them go over Reigns and Punk just gives them momentum heading into their matches at Battleground which I can't wait for
10 more days until Battleground and I for one can't wait!!!!! Then after Battleground is one of my favorite pay per views Money in the Bank and why? Because Money in the Bank here you would have 2 Money in the Bank Ladder Matches one for the RAW briefcase where the winner of that has a guaranteed shot at the WWE Championship any time any where and they could cash in on the WWE Champion cashing in on Punk or whoever and the champion would never see it coming and the other for the Smackdown briefcase where the winner of that has a guaranteed shot at the World Heavyweight Championship any time any where and they could cash in on the World Champion whether it be Orton or Danielson or whoever
But for Money in the Bank the RAW Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner and the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner have practically a whole year to cash in their briefcase so if they are really patient they could cash in at next year's Money in the Bank pay per view in 2014 if they were that patient but they could cash in either at SummerSlam, Night of Champions, Payback, your other October PPV, Survivor Series even or even at TLC or even at the Rumble or if they were really patient even wait until Mania 30 to do it

Pretty cool opening segment with Danielson showing his appreciation of the fans. Seth Rollins over Miz was a good move, I like the idea of a Rollins/Sheamus feud. Not sure if I said that before. And as if on cue, it is announced for Battleground. Cool. The Usos winning was fine, and I wonder who Ryback is going to get for a partner. Should be interesting. Kings of Wrestling feud would be lovely. Batista wanting to rip off CM Punk's head could make for interesting television. Cody vs. Ziggler is a match that I would love to see and their little rivalry between Ziggler and the Brotherhood is interesting. Odd and different. Maybe Ziggler should be doing something more high profile. Like I said, I missed a lot in this diary so not sure. Dean Ambrose and AJ Lee <3. Very happy they got the win and good rivalries for both belts. Cool to have Alberto Del Rio on the panel before his official return. Nice Wyatt promo and win. The Swagger promo was good and him and Rey have always had good chemistry. Should be fun. Huge main event, Batista pinning Punk makes me sad but makes perfect sense heading into their title match. Also a fan of the Reigns/Cena feud. Overall, another solid show and I'm looking forward to Battleground.

June 10, 2013 from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia
The Monday Night Raw intro video airs and the cameras come into the Richmond Coliseum as Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the show! Tonight, we will have CM Punk and Batista in the arena before they collide on Sunday and the same goes for John Cena and Roman Reigns. Also tonight, Dean Ambrose will defend the United States Championship against Wade Barrett, Jeff Hardy will go up against Big Show and the duo of Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter have vowed to burn Rey Mysterio's mask right in the middle of the ring! All this and more just six nights away from the Battleground pay-per-view on Sunday night!
The Virginia crowd is looked over and the theme music of CM Punk hits. The crowd explodes in a mix of cheers and boos as the WWE Champion makes his way out from the back and takes his time coming down to the ring. Punk takes a microphone from ringside and steps around the ring, rubbing his chin and looking frustrated. "You may have saw last week on Smackdown when Batista pinned me here in the middle of this ring..." The Virginia crowd gives a solid response to the mention, as Punk shakes his head. "But pinning me when it matters is something I guarantee you Batista cannot do! Dave, you've come back here and you've vowed to take away the WWE Championship from me but everybody knows you are just old and washed up and can't get the job done... hell, you could barely get the job done when you were young and in your prime and guess what, old man? I'm in my prime! I'm the face of this business! I am the best in the world and you are never going to become the WWE Champion as long as I'm breathing in and out and holding this title belt! You may think you've got a chance against me because you're experienced, but you've been away for so long you won't even expect it when I beat you this Sunday at Battleground. You may think you've got a chance, Dave... but the way I see it, you don't stand a chance against the likes of C... M... Punk." He raises up the WWE Championship belt above his head slowly, snapping his head towards the ramp as Batista's theme music hits - leading to a big pop from the fans. The Animal emerges from the back and stares Punk down from atop the stage before making his way down to the ring. He steps right in and heads across, staring Punk down as he takes a microphone of his own from ringside. He comes back to the middle of the ring and the two rivals stare each other down.
"You think I don't stand a chance?" Batista laughs, then scoffs at his words. "You think last week on Smackdown didn't matter? You think me dropping you in the middle of this ring with the Batista Bomb last week didn't matter? Or maybe you just don't want to talk about how I left you laid out in this ring like a bitch." The crowd gives an 'ooh' as the two stare down once again. Punk goes to say something but Batista waves his hand up, "Na, na, na! I get it, Punk. You're embarrassed because this... old washed up guy who couldn't get the job done even in his prime managed to pin you on national television. I get it! I get it because now you're afraid this old washed up guy who couldn't get the job done even in his prime is gonna get it done this Sunday in front of your friends and family in Illinois... I mean, it is completely understandable, Punk. Especially because I can guarantee you right now that I will walk out of Battleground with the WWE Championship... so you can deal wit-" Punk cuts him off, telling him to shut up. The two move closer as Batista rips off his sunglasses, widening his eyes at Punk. The champion squints at The Animal and brings his microphone back up slowly, "Like I said before... as long as I'm breathing in and breathing out you'll never become the WWE Champion ever again. You can keep talking and looking tough but we all know that you are no longer The Animal. I know you're not because I've been in the ring with The Animal and I've been in the ring with you a couple of times since you came back and even standing here before me you may look like The Animal but I know, they know and you know... that isn't you any more. So maybe you should learn to deal with it and accept the fact that you will never be the face of this company and you will never be the best in the world and you damn sure will never be the WWE Champion!" Punk drops his microphone and raises the title belt up, Batista rubbing at his chin. Punk suddenly swings a punch right into the head of Batista! The WWE Champion fires away with shot after shot and sends Batista back up against the ropes only for the number one contender to push him back and deliver the spear! The WWE Universe pops as Punk quickly rolls out of the ring, holding his mid-section in frustration. Batista scoops up the WWE Championship and raises it up over his head before tossing it over the ropes at Punk's feet.
Returning, the commentary team announces by orders of Stephanie McMahon, CM Punk and Batista will be doing Pick Your Poison here tonight on Raw before they collide against each other this Sunday at Battleground! Back live in the arena, Wade Barrett's theme music hits as it is time for the United States Championship match.
United States Champion Dean Ambrose defeats Wade Barrett via pinfall to retain The bell rings and Barrett comes storming forward, dropping Ambrose with a vicious clothesline. He works Ambrose with all of his power early on and ends up dropping Dean with the Wasteland early, leading to a close two count. He goes for another but Ambrose slips free and hits a hard neckbreaker. The champion takes control of the match and gets a few near falls here and there, eventually tossing himself out of the ring follow big boot attempt. Barrett follows and ends up getting him back into the ring. After some more back and forth between the two, Barrett sets up for the Bullhammer Clothesline but misses, Ambrose jabbing a thumb into the eye. The referee gets in between the two and checks on Barrett. He re-adjusts himself and comes forward, only for Ambrose to duck under a shot attempt - rolling Barrett up with a handful of the tights for the three count!
The crowd boos as Ambrose pops right back up onto his feet, pumping both fists in the air. He laughs hysterically as Barrett gets onto his feet, causing Dean to slip out of the ring. He snags his title belt and moves around the ring quickly, making his way up the ramp. He holds the title over his head, laughing at Barrett as he leans across the ropes in frustration. He storms around the ring, yelling in anger as Ambrose just makes his way to the back, getting the victory over Barrett in cheap fashion.
Returning, Matt Striker is backstage and he introduces his guest at this time to be WWE Champion CM Punk. He thanks him for his time and asks about his choice for Pick Your Poison here tonight against Batista. Punk laughs, "You know, a lot of people actually approached me about wanting to face Batista tonight. You know why? Because he took away an opportunity for a lot of superstars... bottom line is, I've got somebody lined up who will be able to give Batista what he has coming to him before he comes up against me this Sunday Battleground... and whoever Dave decides to put up against me, they better be ready for a rude awakening because I will destroy them." He clutches his title belt to his chest and heads off.
Diva's Champion AJ Lee defeats Layla with Kaitlyn via submission in a non-title match The bell rings and AJ completely controls the match early on. Layla tries to put up a fight but AJ just refuses to let up. She hits a couple of clotheslines and slams, taunting Kaitlyn in the process. Layla throws a few punches in and rocks AJ for a moment, only for the Diva's Champion to respond with the Shining Wizard! She proceeds to put her in the Black Widow once she staggers back up, and Layla is forced to submit rather quickly.
AJ refuses to let go of the hold as the bell continues to ring. Kaitlyn hops into the ring and forces her off, stomping down on AJ! The Diva's Champion manages to escape from the ring before any serious damage can be done, however, and she backs up the ramp in a hurry - laughing hysterically. Kaitlyn checks down on Layla as she hopes she doesn't suffer the same fate on Sunday.
The cameras cut backstage to show Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, with Swagger holding up Rey Mysterio's mask on his hand. The duo promised to burn Mysterio's mask this past week on Smackdown and will be coming out next to apparently live up to that promise.
Returning, Jack Swagger's theme music hits and he makes his way out to the top of the ramp with Zeb Colter at his side. Swagger raises the mask of Rey Mysterio up above his head as Colter holds up a gasoline tank. The two make their way down to the ring and hop right in, moving right to the middle of the squared circle. Colter takes a microphone and nods, "Fellow Americans, it is finally time to get rid of the last piece of the puzzle. To rid of the last piece of garbage lingering among us all! The mask of your illegal hero that has taken away opportunities from the likes of real Americans such as Jack Swagger - Rey Mysterio!" The crowd boos as Swagger stretches the mask a bit. "So, my fellow Americans, we are here tonight in the obvious unappreciative Richmond, Virginia... to burn the mask of Rey Mysterio in front of each and every one of you whether you like it or not! This is for the greater good of this country and you should all be thanking Jack Swagger and myself for providing justice! If you wish to turn over a new leaf and accept and agree to our presence here tonight, we invite you to rise onto your feet... place your hand over your heart and say in a loud, clear voice... We! The People!" Swagger proceeds to pull on the mask and rips it at the eyes. He hands it off to Colter and heads out of the ring, pulling a trash can out from underneath the ring. He sets it up in the middle of the ring and Colter throws the mask inside, Swagger smiling as he is handed the gas. He raises it up over his head and continues to get heat from the Virginia crowd as he takes off the cap, pouring the gasoline inside of the trash can!
As Colter hands over the matches and Swagger goes to strike them, Rey Mysterio's theme music hits! Swagger looks up the ramp in preparation and Mysterio comes charging down the ramp and to the ring, sliding right through and underneath Swagger's legs! He pops right up and fires away with strike after strike and he delivers a huge hurricanrana! Mysterio gets right up again and trips Swagger right between the ropes, following up with the 619! He pops off the top ropes and lands right onto Swagger's chest, bringing him down to the mat. Colter yells in the corner in frustration, Mysterio looking around the arena. He points to Colter and takes the trash can, splashing the gas from inside all over Zeb! The crowd pops as Colter stands completely covered and in disgust! Mysterio turns to see Swagger getting back up and he whips him right into Colter, both men collapsing onto the mat. Mysterio hops out of the ring, working the crowd up a bit as Swagger and Colter slip a bunch trying to get back onto their feet. Mysterio laughs as he makes his way up the ramp, high fiving members of the crowd.
The cameras cut backstage to show Batista, as he will be in the first Pick Your Poison match coming up next.
Batista defeats Randy Orton via pinfall The bell rings as the two lock up with each other, Batista getting the upper hand early on by using all of his power on his former Evolution partner. The duo go back and forth and The Animal drives Orton back into the corner, plowing through with shoulders to the gut. He slams Orton down to the mat with a spinebuster and gets fired up, dropping him clothesline after clothesline. As he goes for the Batista Bomb, however, Orton manages to slip free and hit the RKO! He hooks both legs up but only gets a two count, leading to a commercial break. Upon the return, Orton remains in control of the match and continues on with near falls throughout. Batista manages to hit a spear out of nowhere, however, and hooks both legs up for a two count. He gets momentum going yet again and he slams him over and over again all across the ring. Orton hits a low blow as the referee is forced to duck out of the way, giving The Viper an opening. He completely takes control of the match but as Orton prepares to hit the RKO, Bryan Danielson's music hits. The World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out to the ramp and begins the 'Yes!' chants with the WWE Universe. After some distraction, Orton turns right into the Batista Bomb! The Animal hooks both legs up for the three count.
Batista rises up onto his feet and moves off to the ropes, leaning over and looking up to Bryan. The two stare down momentarily but Batista cracks a smile, pumping both his index fingers in the air - leading the 'Yes!' chants along with Bryan and the entire Virginia crowd, as with some help from the World Heavyweight Champion - Batista has won his last match before Battleground.
Big E Langston defeats Damien Sandow via pinfall in the Big E Challenge The bell rings and the two lock up, Sandow throwing some elbows. However, he can barely get any more offense in as Langston drops him with multiple clotheslines and powerslams. He drops Sandow right into the corner and thrashes him with shoulders. He pulls him forward and hits him with a giant clothesline. Langston pulls Sandow right back onto his feet and lifts him right up for the Big Ending right in the middle of the ring. He hooks both legs up for the easy pinfall.
Big E gets right back up onto his feet and pounds on his chest, raising his fist in the air while leaning on the ropes. He stands over Sandow and gives a nod to the crowd before exiting the ring, making his way towards the back as the second week of the Big E Challenge is successful for Langston.
A promo video airs for WWE's Be A Star program featuring the likes of John Cena, Bryan Danielson, Kaitlyn and Sheamus.
WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos vs The Prime Time Players goes to a no contest in a non-title match The bell tolls as Jimmy starts things off with Darren. They give some fast paced action early on and both sides make some early tags. Before anything can pick up, however, Ryback makes his way out from the back and comes down towards the ring. He slides right in and double clotheslines Jey and Titus - the referee immediately calling for the bell.
Ryback turns to see Young as he comes running and he hits a huge back body drop. He turns right to Jimmy and throws him right into the steel post. He turns around yet again, hitting Jey with the Meat Hook Clothesline. He pumps both fists in the air as the crowd boos, 'The Big Guy' taking a microphone from ringside. He nods is head and laughs, standing over both The Uso brothers. "This Sunday! Battleground Kickoff! Be ready, cause it's you versus me and my new partner for the Tag Team Championships! See ya Sunday!" He laughs and drops the microphone down, exiting the ring with the cocky smile left across his face as both The Usos sit up in pain and frustration.
Returning, the theme music of Fandango hits and the suave, dancing superstar makes his way out with Summer Rae. The two make their way down to the ring and Fandango takes a microphone from ringside after posing in the middle of the ring. "Tonight... could finally be the night... that you all get to see the debut of Fahhhnn... Dahhhnnnn... GO!" He looks out to the crowd as they have tried to say his name once again. "No, no, no! Fahhhnnnn... Dah---" He stops himself, shaking his head in frustration. He bites down on his lip and shakes his head, "None of you get it right! So you will all have to deal with the debut of Fandango being held off once again!" He starts to head towards the ropes but once again, Jerry Lawler gets onto his feet at the announce table and tells him to hold on. He makes his way up the steel steps and gets into the ring, raising his eyebrows up to Fandango. "Look, Fandango, I've been giving you a hard time over the past few weeks but you've been pretty hard on these people! Heck, I'd like to see you compete too!" Fandango squints at Lawler, telling him that if he really wants him to compete he can face him. Lawler laughs and asks if he is serious. Fandango says that he is and invites Jerry to a "dance" on Sunday at Battleground. The King looks to the crowd looking for answers, the WWE Universe popping. They start to chant his name loudly and Lawler agrees to the match! Fandango smiles and exits the ring with Summer Rae as it appears he will make his debut on Sunday!
The cameras cut backstage to Matt Striker and he introduces his guest at this time to be Jeff Hardy. He thanks him for his time and asks about facing Big Show tonight and Bray Wyatt this Sunday at Battleground. "Well, Matt, I've had the opportunity to face Harper and Rowan the past couple of weeks and I managed to beat them both. Tonight, I get Big Show... this Sunday, I get Bray Wyatt... and I plan on winning tonight and Sunday and I plan on finally shutting the door on Bray Wyatt! He can talk all of his bullcrap all day long and try and get into my head but it isn't going to work out... I'm going to beat him at Battleground just like I'm going to beat Big Show tonight." He heads off, in action against Big Show next.
Jeff Hardy defeats Big Show with Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan via pinfall The bell sounds and Show dominate Hardy early on by using all of his power. He tries to slam himself into Hardy in the corner, only for Jeff to move out of the way and hit the Whisper in the Wind. Hardy gets the upper hand in the match by keeping Show down but he is pushed right into the turnbuckle. He tosses Hardy all around the ring by taking him by the neck and pants and prepares for the chokeslam, only for Hardy to drop down with a DDT! He goes for the Swanton Bomb but Show rolls out of the way, allowing him to once again dominate the Charismatic Enigma. He cocks back for the Knockout Punch, only for Jeff to duck underneath it and hit another Whisper in the Wind. He pops right back up and climbs to the top rope, hitting the Swanton perfectly! He covers Show quickly and gets the three count.
Hardy gets onto his feet and turns around to see Wyatt, Harper and Rowan standing at the bottom of the ramp. He motions for them to come into the ring and Wyatt laughs hysterically, the signature of the group hitting as the lights go out in the arena. They come back on after a few moments with Harper, Rowan and Wyatt standing on different sides of the ring on the apron. They stare Hardy down as Show stirs up against the ropes. Hardy turns all around and runs up to Wyatt first, hitting him with a shot. He runs at Harper after and starts to fire away but he gets jumped from behind by Show and Rowan. They throw him down into the middle of the ring and stomp at him over and over again. Wyatt runs his hands through his hair and orders his family to pull Hardy back up. He drops him with Sister Abigail right in the middle of the ring! Wyatt stirs onto both knees and demands a microphone, Show retrieving one for him. "But I'm a creep! I'm a weirdo! What the hell am I doing here? I DON'T BELONG HERE! You don't... belong here, Jeff Hardy... you are no mystery to me, Charismatic Enigma!" He leans back, "Follow! The buzzards!" He drops the microphone and leans back further with his arms spread to the rest of his group. Their signature hits as the lights go out once again.
Returning, the commentary team talk about how Battleground is coming up this Sunday and the card is fantastic, and another match has been added just now in Cody Rhodes versus Dolph Ziggler. Also at the event, Seth Rollins will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus, Bray Wyatt will face Jeff Hardy, AJ Lee will defend the Diva's Championship against Kaitlyn, Bryan Danielson will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Randy Orton, John Cena will go against Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match, their own Jerry Lawler will face Fandango in his debut and WWE Champion CM Punk will go against Batista. Also, there will be the Battleground Kickoff with Josh Mathews, Hall of Famer Edge, Alberto Del Rio and Zack Ryder as the panelists and The Usos will put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against Ryback and a mystery partner.
Sheamus and Cody Rhodes with Goldust defeat Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler via pinfall The bell rings as Rhodes and Rollins start things off. They go back and forth and Rollins hits a huge uppercut off the ropes, leading to a tag to Ziggler. Dolph and Seth make frequent tags with each other and dominate Rhodes until he drops Rollins with a sudden Disaster Kick! He makes the tag to Sheamus and he comes rushing in, dropping Rollins over and over again. He charges at Ziggler and swings at him, only to be hung up on the ropes. Rollins hits the superkick but all hell breaks loose as Rhodes comes running into the ring, Ziggler joining as well. All four men begin to brawl but things finally clear up as Rhodes and Ziggler spill to the outside, allowing Sheamus to hit Rollins with the Brogue Kick! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
Sheamus hops onto his feet and pounds on his chest, spreading his arms out wide. Rhodes and Goldust soon join him in the ring as Ziggler backs around the ring and up the ramp, pointing at Rhodes and vowing revenge. Rollins slowly rolls out of the ring and is given his title belt as The Celtic Warrior motions for the belt around his waist.
Mark Henry defeats WWE Champion CM Punk via disqualification in a non-title match The bell rings and Henry completely dominates Punk in the early goings, only for the WWE Champion to show why he is champion by getting out of the sticky situations Henry puts him in. He rocks the World's Strongest Man back into the corner and drives him with the knee to the chin. He goes for the signature bulldog only for Henry to shove him away and hit a huge clothesline. Henry continues to show off his strength and dominates Punk for a couple of minutes. As he goes for the World's Strongest Slam, however, Punk elbows free and hits him with a low blow kick! The referee calls for the bell as the crowd boos.
Punk drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring, pulling a steel chair out from underneath the ring. He slides back in and swings the chair right across the back of Henry! As he goes to hit him again, however, Batista comes rushing down to the ring. He ducks underneath a chair shot and hits off of the ropes, coming back with a huge spear! The WWE Universe cheers as Batista scoops the chair up, raising it up high. Punk struggles back up in the corner and turns around to a shot to the gut, followed up by one across the back! Batista proceeds to throw the chair down in the middle of the ring, taking his time to deliver the Batista Bomb right down onto the chair! The Animal rises back up onto his feet and pumps both fists in the air, walking towards the main camera. He shakes the ropes violently and gets the crowd fired up, raising his thumbs into the air. He sends them down right over Punk as he looks to reclaim the WWE Championship on Sunday night!
The cameras pan backstage to show Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns, as they will be addressing John Cena before the Last Man Standing match on Sunday.
Returning, Roman Reigns' theme music hits and he makes his way out from the back along with his manager, Paul Heyman. The two make their way down to the ring and come to the middle, Heyman taking a microphone from ringside. "Ladies and gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman and this man standing next to me is the future of the WWE - Rrrroman! Reigns!" He smiles as the crowd gives a mixed reaction, mostly boos. "This is the man that defeated John Cena at Extreme Rules a month ago and this is the man that will indeed be the last man standing this Sunday Battleground and anybody that believes that is not the fact, then you can just look at all of the times since my client debuted that he has left John Cena laid out and broken in the middle of this very ring! This Sunday at Battleground, ladies and gentlemen, Roman Reigns will destroy John Cena and hit him with the most vicious spear this business has ever seen and the official will count up to ten and then that man over there, Justin Roberts, will announce your winner of the match once again to be Rrrrrrrroman! Rrrreigns!" He stares out to the crowd and smiles, handing the microphone off to Reigns. He takes a step forward and glares into the main camera, "John, Paul is right. I'm going to come into this Sunday and I'm going to completely break you in half. I don't care if you respect me or not... just know that I don't like you and you're just in my way. Nothing personal... just business." He smirks and hands the microphone back off to Heyman and he goes to speak once again, only for John Cena's music to hit - the WWE Universe giving a very loud mixed reaction.
John makes his way out from the back all fired up and makes his way down to the ring, continuing to get the crowd going. He takes a microphone of his own from ringside and marches around the ring, staring down Reigns and Heyman. "Hold up, hold up, hold up! Wait just a minute, Roman, wait just a damn minute! You say that this isn't personal? You say this is just business!? I don't think so, Roman, because every single time you come into this ring and you hit me with a spear it gets more and more personal! It's personal because you cost me the WWE Championship the night after WrestleMania and it is personal because you got The Penguin from Batman running his mouth over there about me all the damn time!" He steps closer to Reigns and slows himself down. "You want to call this all business but you know that it is personal. You're trying to use me for personal gain and I understand why... you felt threatened by me becoming the WWE Champion once again and you took the opportunity to take me out before I got the chance to win it back. You understood that you have all this potential and that if I was standing in your way with that belt around my waist you wouldn't be able to take it away from me because when I got to put it all on the line, jack, I go all out! I never give up! I never say die and this Sunday at Battleground it is gonna be personal and I'm going to kick! Your! Ass!" He throws the microphone down and gets right up into Reigns' face, the two talking smack to each other. Reigns shoves Cena back but John responds with a huge punch to the face! He starts to fire away and rocks Reigns to the ropes before sending him over with a clothesline. Cena turns to Heyman and backs him down before heading out of the ring, only for Reigns to lift him right off the floor and slam him back first into the ring apron! He picks Cena up once again and runs him into the steel post, John crawling towards the barricade. Reigns runs his hands through his hair and looks to Heyman, whom gives him some orders. Reigns turns around slowly and leans his head back, giving a loud roar to the crowd. He charges at Cena as he gets up and delivers a spear right through the barricade! The Virginia crowd explodes as Roman rises back up onto a knee, breathing heavily over Cena's lifeless body! Heyman slowly moves over with a microphone in his hands and starts counting on his free hand, "One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten!" He drops the microphone down, giving a loud thud. Reigns rises back up onto his feet and Heyman raises his arm up as this could be the result this Sunday at Battleground! Monday Night Raw comes to an end.

Roman Reigns now definitely has the edge heading into Battleground this Sunday especially when he faces Cena in that Last Man Standing Match, which I already know will be a classic, it is going to be a war and the way he Speared Cena right through the barricade can you say OMG! Moment right there, love that spot with Reigns charging at Cena with a Spear right through the barricade and then Reigns getting back to his feet and Heyman counting all the way to ten, could that be the result this Sunday at Battleground? Could Roman Reigns be the "Last Man Standing"? What kind of condition will Cena be in for this Sunday at Battleground?
CM Punk's Pick Your Poison opponent that Batista chose for him ends up being the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry, I would say definitely a good choice because Henry could do real damage to Punk right before Battleground and Punk getting himself DQed I kind of had a feeling he was going to do that and why? Because Punk knew he was outpowered outmatched and quite frankly he knew Henry would tear him apart and what does he do? He gets himself DQed like a coward and then afterwards goes to attack Henry with a steel chair only for Batista to make the save and leave Punk laying, can Big Dave get the job done this Sunday at Battleground becoming the WWE Champion once again especially in Punk's hometown of Chicago, in Punk's home state where Punk will no doubt be cheered like no one else
Sheamus and Cody Rhodes beating WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler their respective rivals in order to gain an edge this Sunday heading into their respective matches I would say Sheamus has all the momentum in the world right now but can he beat Rollins for the title when it really matters most? Or will Rhodes finally be able to beat The Show Off when it matters most? Either way we shall all find out this Sunday and I am actually looking forward to those respective matches to be kind of honest with you
Love your rundown of the Battleground card, this Sunday, so stoked
Jeff Hardy beating yet another Wyatt Family member this time beating the World's Largest Athlete The Big Show, classic David vs Goliath match here with Hardy somehow coming out on top, I would definitely say Jeff Hardy has all the momentum heading into Battleground beating all 3 of Bray Wyatt's "family members" but will Hardy be able to beat "the patriarch" Bray Wyatt when it is all said and done? Wyatt laying out Hardy I wonder if that could be what we see this Sunday in their match at Battleground? Either way the Wyatt Family they are in Jeff's head so I wonder what Hardy will do to get into the heads of Bray Wyatt and company playing mind games with them?
Fandango teasing his debut he's been doing it for weeks taunting all of us but now he is finally going to get into the squared circle and to think his first opponent on a PPV will be The King, Jerry Lawler, we just know Fandango is going to go over Lawler because Lawler is a Hall of Famer and Fandango could use the rub of beating a Hall of Famer but also I just have a feeling Lawler is going to help put Fandango over but at the same time I just have a feeling that this match will be a really good one
Ryback showing up yet again during The Usos' match talking about just who his tag team partner is and that he will be seeing them at Battleground, well enough already, if you say you have a tag team partner then what the hell are you waiting for? Unveil him already and be done with it rather than show up when it is obviously not wanted but I wonder who The Big Guy has recruited as his new tag team partner? I just have a feeling it is Joe Hennig aka Curtis Axel, 3rd generation superstar the son of the late great WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig grandson of NWA-AWA legend Larry The Ax Hennig
Another Big E Challenge, this time he beats Sandow, I think I could really get behind this "Big E Challenge" week after week as a way to really elevate Big E even more than he already has been elevated because you could potentially have yourself a goldmine here with this because last week it was Mark Henry and he has beaten Orton a former WWE and World Champion and now he beats Sandow, so far Big E in his Challenges he has been undefeated so far he hasn't lost one yet and I would say he is well on his way to becoming a future WWE or World Champion soon, hey it could happen
Batista beating CM Punk's Pick Your Poison opponent that Punk chose for Big Dave that opponent being Batista's former Evolution teammate bitter rival Randy Orton, because Punk knows all about Batista and Orton's history with each other he knows all about their rivalry and he figured that if anyone could soften up Batista it's Orton but just when Orton is well on his way to victory here comes Orton's Battleground opponent World Heavyweight Champion Danielson again costing Orton another victory with Batista taking full advantage off of the distraction, you know as well as I do, Orton is going to want to tear Danielson apart now but even more so Batista gains even more momentum heading into Battleground this Sunday when he faces Punk for the WWE Championship but after this I would say Danielson has definitely gotten into The Viper's head
Rey Mysterio making his triumphant return stopping Swagger and Colter from burning his mask and essentially leaving the Real Americans laying, loved it, but I wonder if after this, if Swagger and Mysterio will end up going at it either at Battleground with their match being added to the card at the last minute? Or if these 2 will go at it at the next pay per view which of course is Money in the Bank? Money in the Bank I am sure these 2 men will probably be in one of the Money in the Bank Ladder Matches
WWE Divas Champion AJ beating Kaitlyn's pal Layla by making her tap to the Black Widow, I would say AJ definitely has all the momentum heading into Battleground especially because she has to defend her title against Kaitlyn but can Kaitlyn get the job done this Sunday and win back the WWE Divas Championship? Or will AJ somehow be able to beat her again retaining her title again?
WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose beating Wade Barrett to retain his title yet again, beating Barrett finally when it counts, after this Ambrose definitely has to be done with Barrett because Ambrose has finally been able to get one over on Barrett and now Barrett has to go to the back of the line he's lost his shot at Ambrose, Ambrose didn't have to get himself DQ'ed or even counted out this time he beat Barrett clean all be it he used cheap tactics but he still got the job done now didn't he? I wonder just how long Ambrose has been WWE United States Champion now for? Either way I wonder where Barrett goes from here especially after this?
But the way you started off RAW though with the WWE Champion CM Punk and his Battleground opponent Big Dave aka Batista, after this segment I would say definite pipebombs on both men's parts because Batista more or less held his own on the mic with Punk and just when Punk is about to lay into Batista leaving him laying Batista leaves Punk laying again to end the segment I wonder if that could be a sign of things to come this Sunday?
Either way they are going to be in Punk's hometown so you have no idea how much heat or how much boos Batista will get this Sunday especially going up against the hometown hero Punk who will no doubt be cheered like no one else, because whenever they are in Chicago Punk can do no wrong he will get cheered like God over there
Love your panelists for this Sunday's pay per view because you have the Rated R Superstar WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Josh Matthews, Edge's former La Familia member and former Edgehead Zack Ryder also on the panel and then you have the returning Alberto Del Rio also on the panel which I can't wait for, building up towards Del Rio's return because he's been out a while with his injury and coming back you know Del Rio is obviously headed for a huge push when he returns

Money in the Bank Predictions
As for my Money in the Bank predictions right now for the WWE Championship in the main event it will end up being CM Punk defending his title against the returning Alberto Del Rio with Del Rio somehow getting a WWE Championship match against Punk with this being a heel vs. heel match but Del Rio obviously getting cheered in this match even though he is supposed to be a heel and since Del Rio is returning I figured why not?
As for the World Heavyweight Championship I see it being Danielson defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton and against Batista somehow in a Triple Threat Match with Batista moving from the WWE Championship to the World Heavyweight Championship and with Danielson's title reign being in serious jeopardy having to defend his title against not one but 2 men both of whom are former Evolution members but also who want to be World Heavyweight Champion
RAW Money in the Bank Ladder Match I see it being Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Wade Barrett, Big E Langston, Fandango, and Sin Cara making it 8 superstars here
Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match I see it being Sheamus, WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Cesaro, and the returning Christian
As for where Cena will be on this pay per view? I see him and Reigns going at it one more time but this time it will be the final encounter, the final encounter being inside HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN AAAAAAAAAAA CELLLLLLLLLLLLLL HELL IN A CELL

Hey, I graduated on the day of this RAW. Not like anyone gives a bitch, tho.
A good opening segment to hype the WWE Championship match between CM Punk and Batista on Sunday. I have a bit of a hard time imagining any sort of crowd rooting heavily for Batista, to be honest. I would imagine that in Chicago, he'll get sh*tted on, which hopefully ignites a heel turn. Man, I hate face Batista.. Dean Ambrose defeating Wade Barrett made for a fine opening contest. I'm getting bored with Ambrose as the United States Champion, though. Nowhere near as badly as I am in real life, but still. I partially expect him to win one of the Money in the Bank cases next month. That is your July PPV, right? AJ Lee getting the victory over Layla was expected as she is the reigning Divas Champion and all. AJ vs. Kaitlyn at the Chicago PPV, very original. An actually impressive segment with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter attempting to burn the mask of Rey Mysterio. It built the rivalry very well. Shame that neither will be featured on Battleground this Sunday. Huge first hour main event with Batista defeating Punk's chosen opponent, Randy Orton. I quite enjoyed Bryan Danielson's involvement with the "Yes!" chant, but Dave doing the gesture along with him and the audience......cringeworthy. Man, I hate face Batista. Big E Langston scoring another victory in the Big E Challenge is fine. I hope that this concept leads to a debuting star defeating him. Michael Elgin, maybe? Or whatever the f*ck you're calling him here. Ryan Braxton? The f*ck kind of name is Ryan? Ryback causing havoc in the tag team match was fine. Ryback's mystery partner for the Battleground Kickoff show has me intrigued. I genuinely have no clue who it'll be. If it's Curtis Axel, I stop reading. Fandango versus Jerry Lawler at Battleground. Very random, and I'm unsure if it's the proper way to debut Fandango. Jeff Hardy getting the win over the Big Show was a fair call since I hope, and expect, Bray Wyatt to go over the "Charismatic Enigma" at Battleground. The Wyatt/Hardy feud may be my favorite thing going in this diary at the moment. Sheamus and Cody Rhodes getting a big win over their Battleground opponents, not bad. I'm not really expecting either to leave Sunday victorious, though. CM Punk versus Mark Henry made for a fine main event. The disqualification finish was definitely the way to go. Batista standing tall, eh. I'll accept it since I don't foresee him becoming WWE Champion on Sunday. Man, I hate face Batista. Lastly, a very good segment between John Cena and Roman Reigns. The Spear through the barricade was the perfect spot to set the stage of Sunday's Last Man Standing match. I expect Cena and Roman to steal the show. Grand closing segment to a rather good edition of RAW. Very much looking forward to reading Battleground.
Man, I hate face Batista.

When's SummerSlam? I only care about seeing you use my awesome poster.
Opening segment made sense, but like Ryan, face Batista is utter poo. HeelTista is where it's at. Quite hilarious how it's two extremes - he's either face and absolute sh*t, or heel and absolutely incredible. Batista having the last laugh in the segment was a good sign, but I don't see him taking the title at Battleground. Pick Your Poison is always interesting, although it usually ends up being two superstars from another feud with each other that end up getting chosen. Glad to see Ambrose retain the title here, hopefully he doesn't hold the title hostage like he has in real life and continus to defend it regularly. Divaaaaaasssssseugh. Jack Swagger having Mysterio's mask is interesting, the perfect way to get Mysterio into a deep feud. I doubt they'll be successful in burning it though. Yeah, told you. But I'm not sure on having Zeb covered in gas... that's pretty dangerous, lol. Yep, as expected, two feuding superstars, no doubt Bryan will be Punk's opponent. A victory for Batista was necessary, since that's the main event of Battleground, not Orton/Bryan. I really like Big E Langston, and I really like this Big E Challenge. Good victory for him over Sandow, I hope to see him go far. Interesting to see Ryback getting involved in the tag team match. Who will his new partner be? Hopefully not Curtis Axel. Jerry Lawler in action at Battleground? I think Fandango could have a more impressive debut than going over a heart attack-prone sixty year old, but that's just me. Jeff Hardy with a big win over Big Show, the feud with the Wyatt Family is something that I see as being quite interesting, but I hope Wyatt goes over. Sheamus and Cody Rhodes going over their respective opponents could come back to hit them with a big dose of irony come the Pay-Per-View. Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler taking wins, methinks. Glad to see Bryan not be Punk's opponent, and Punk escaping by costing himself the match definitely puts him over as the cowardly heel he is. Again, Batista stands tall - you're not taking anything at Battleground, ya big babyface bastard. John Cena and Roman Reigns close the show, that's big. I rally like Reigns being put with Paul Heyman, gives him a good outlet for getting his point across in segments. Could Reigns cross paths with Brock Lesnar down the line? I think it was a good go-home show for Battleground, looking forward to the event.

June 13, 2013 from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina
The opening video for Smackdown airs and the cameras pan inside of the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina! Tonight, just three days away from Battleground, we will have champion versus champion action as World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson goes toe to toe with United States Champion Dean Ambrose. Also, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman requested and have received a Last Man Standing match here on Smackdown in order to give what they're calling 'a preview of Sunday'. All this and more on Smackdown!
The theme music of Bryan Danielson hits and the World Heavyweight Champion makes his way out from the back to a loud reception from the WWE Universe. He pumps the title belt above his head and leads the very noisy crowd to 'Yes!' chants. He hops down to the ring and takes a microphone from ringside, calming himself down a bit. "In just three days from tonight, I will put my World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Randy Orton..." A lot of heat comes for the mention of The Viper's name. "Now, we all know Randy is a tough and vicious competitor in the ring. We all know Randy is a tough and vicious competitor outside of the ring... he may be tough and vicious but I am too, and I hold two advantages over him heading into this Sunday and the first is that I am the World Heavyweight Champion!" He pumps the belt up and leads on the 'Yes!' chants yet again. He laughs and puts it back over his shoulder, "The second thing that I hold over him, however, is much bigger and more powerful. It is something that is much greater than the World Heavyweight Championship, as a matter of fact... that second thing that I have is each and every one of you on my side!" The North Carolina crowd explodes for the appreciation from Bryan as he goes into the chants once again. As they are chanting on, however, Dean Ambrose's theme music hits. The United States Champion makes his way out from the back and down to the ring with a smug look across his face.
"Listen, Bryan, I don't care about your feud with Randy Orton and I don't even care that you have to face him this Sunday at Battleground! The only reason I am out here is to tell you that you may want to get to the back and get yourself ready because with all due respect to The Viper... the Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose, is a very, very dangerous man and I will show no mercy on you tonight..." He snickers and Bryan looks around to the crowd, giving a long 'alright' and a chuckle of his own. "Look, Dean, I understand that you want to come out here and try and look good in front of everybody before our match later on but I would appreciate it if you would just step back and let me have my time, we'll have plenty of time to do this later on, alright?" He smiles and turns back to the crowd, going to say more - only for Ambrose to drop him with a clothesline from behind! Dean starts to stomp him over and over again and drags Danielson onto his feet, firing away with shots into the corner. The World Heavyweight Champion responds with some shots of his own and throws in some kicks, eventually rocking Ambrose up against the ropes - toppling him over with a clothesline! The WWE Universe cheers loudly as Bryan scoops his title belt back up, raising it up over his head with the 'Yes!' chants as Ambrose scrambles back onto his feet and up the ramp away from his opponent for later on tonight.
Returning, the WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos make their way out and work the crowd up a bit before coming to ringside, taking a seat each next to JBL and Cole. The commentary team welcomes them asks what they're out here for, Jimmy responding by saying they are just out here to see how Ryback fairs before they face him on the Battleground Kickoff. Jey says that Ryback was talking some trash earlier, so they got him involved in a handicap match against The Prime Time Players.
Ryback defeats The Prime Time Players via pinfall in a Handicap Match The bell rings as Ryback takes down Young first and starts to trade heavy blows with O'Neill. The Prime Time Players get the upper hand quickly and overpower Ryback in the corner, only for The Big Guy to shove them back. He blasts Titus with a clothesline and proceeds to deliver multiple slams to Young. He turns his attention back to O'Neill and works him a bit. Ryback remains in control until he gets too cocky taunting The Usos, allowing the PTP to once again get control over him. Ryback finally sends Titus outside of the ring by throwing him shoulder first into the steel post, however, and that allows him to focus on Young and go right through him. After hitting the Meat Hook Clothesline, he turns his attention back to O'Neill as he gets back in the ring and after a few knees to the stomach, Ryback drops him with Shell Shocked right in the middle of the ring. He hooks the far leg up for the three count.
The crowd boos as Ryback gets back up onto his feet with a cocky smile. He struts back and forth across the ring as The Usos stand up, nodding to 'The Big Guy'. He takes a microphone from ringside and points at the tag team champions, "If I can beat these two by myself, I could beat you two by myself! But since it is the tag team championships, I will have a partner this Sunday at the Battleground Kickoff! And I guarantee you we will be the most unstoppable team you've ever seen! Hahaha!" He throws the microphone down and smacks himself on the head a few times, still laughing. He backs off to the other side of the ring and exits, leaving The Usos staring him down.
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins defeats Wade Barrett via pinfall in a non-title match The bell rings and the two lock up, Barrett overpowering Rollins early on in the corner and on the mat. He hits a couple of clotheslines as they get back up but Rollins ducks underneath one, allowing him to go for a roll up - only getting a two count. Seth hits a giant superkick, however, as they get up and gets another two count. The Intercontinental Champion gets frustrated and starts to work Barrett with hard and uncontrolled strikes, allowing Wade to lift him off the mat and slam him face first into the turnbuckle. He works Rollins for a couple of minutes and drops him with the Bullhammer Clothesline! He goes for the pin but the champion puts his foot on the bottom rope. Barrett slowly drags him up once again and goes for the Wasteland, only for Seth to slip free and roll into the corner. He ducks underneath a clothesline into the corner and lays Barrett out with another superkick! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
Rollins pops back up onto his feet, giving a huge laugh as the North Carolina crowd boos him. He takes his title belt and holds it up high, as he looks to keep it in tact this Sunday. The commentary team mentions that his Battleground opponent, Sheamus, will be in action later on tonight.
The cameras cut backstage to Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman as they are talking while heading down the hallways. Coming up next, it is what they are calling 'a preview of Sunday' as Reigns will be competing in a Last Man Standing match just a couple of days before his big battle with John Cena.
Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman defeats The Miz in a Last Man Standing Match The bell sounds and Miz comes running forward and drives Reigns back into the corner, firing away with shot after shot. He gets a little bit of momentum going before being tossed face first over the ropes and to the floor! Reigns follows right after him and slams him shoulder first into the steel steps. He continues to manhandle Miz on the outside and takes his time after hitting a slam across the announce table. The referee reaches a count of seven and Reigns forces Miz back up, hitting him with the Superman Punch! He pulls the steel steps apart and drags Miz up yet again, hitting a running powerslam right onto the steps. Roman pops right back up and gives a loud roar to the crowd. He stands over Miz and drags him up one more time, pushing him up against the barricade. He backs away slowly before coming full steam - hitting the spear through the barricade just as he did to John Cena on Monday! Reigns stirs back up slowly as the referee eventually reaches the count of ten as Heyman holds Reigns' arm up the whole entire time as the victor.
Heyman keeps his client's arm raised and takes a microphone from the timekeeper's area. "Ladies and gentlemen of North Carolina!" The duo back up towards the ring and start to go around and up the ramp as Heyman continues on, "This is just a preview of what is to come this Sunday night at Battleground... when my client, Roman Reigns, absolutely dismantles John Cena once again and proves himself as the future of this industry for the second pay-per-view in a row!" He smiles as the two reach the top of the rampway, turning back towards the ring. "As a matter of fact, my client would like to tell you how easy it will be this Sunday night!" He hands the microphone off to Reigns and he gives a smile, pulling the microphone up slowly. "This Sunday Battleground, it will be as easy as one, two, three... four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!" He drops the microphone down and Heyman glows with a smile, holding his client's arm up once again to the entire WWE Universe as confident as ever.
Returning, Stephanie McMahon is in her office and Dean Ambrose comes in, adjusting his United States Championship belt with a smile. "He, Steph! I'd just like to let you know that as much as I appreciate the opportunity to face the World Heavyweight Champion tonight... I'd like to give you a fair warning that I'm going to decimate him after what he did to me earlier and he might not make it to this Sunday at Battleground... so, if you happen to need a stand in after the beating he takes tonight, you know where to look..." Stephanie raises her eyebrows up to Ambrose, saying that she doesn't expect anything less than his best effort. "But Bryan is the World Champion for a reason, Dean. I wish you the best of luck later on and if you do happen to take him out as you suggest... I'll make sure you're the first in line." He snickers and heads out, Stephanie not seeming too concerned about Bryan being taken out tonight.
Back in the arena, the theme music of Cody Rhodes hits and he makes his way down to the ring with his brother Goldust at his side. The two enter the ring and Cody takes a microphone from ringside, getting a solid reception from the crowd as he stands momentarily in silence. "Earlier on this year, I dealt with Randy Orton personally attacking me and my family. Lately, it has been Dolph Ziggler that has been attacking me and my brother both physically and verbally... So this Sunday we face at Battleground one on one but I don't feel like waiting until then! So Dolph, why don't you come down to this ring and I can kick your ass right here, right now!?" The crowd pops as Cody marches around the ring, Goldust trying to reason with him a bit and calm him down. After a few moments, Ziggler's music hits - The Show Off making his way out to the top of the stage. He smiles down to the ring and pulls his microphone up, "Cody, Cody, Cody! I'm not going to come down there to kick YOUR ass tonight... I'm going to save that on Sunday. I mean, I am must see television and people really should pay extra to see the Show Off beat the hell out of the Nobody!" He gets a hunk of boos from the crowd and tells Rhodes that the two of them have a lot in common, being young up-in-comers in the WWE around the same time but there is one big difference. "See, just like your daddy and your brother... you never became the World Champion like I did!" He gives a cocky smile, mentioning how he became World Heavyweight Champion in December and went to the grandest stage of them all - WrestleMania - as the World Heavyweight Champion. Rhodes laughs at him and says there is something else they don't have in common besides the whole World Champion part, "I actually won my match at WrestleMania while you lost to Bryan Danielson! And you can keep on insulting me and my family... but this Sunday at Battleground you're going to find out that the Rhodes Family is the hardest working family in this business, because I'm going to put everything I've got into beating you!" He drops his microphone down and leans over the ropes, staring his rival down. Ziggler squints his eyes and slowly makes his way towards the back.
Bray Wyatt with Big Show, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan defeats R-Truth via pinfall The bell sounds and Truth runs right into a clothesline. Wyatt dominates him all around the ring for a couple of minutes before yanking him up into the corner, firing away with shots to the face over and over again. The referee gets to a four count and Wyatt pulls away, Truth leaping off the ropes to hit a boot to the face! Truth starts to get some momentum going but he is stopped with a huge spinout slam. Wyatt slowly and methodically works Truth down a little bit more before delivering Sister Abigail right in the middle of the ring. He hooks both legs up for the three.
Bray stirs onto his knees slowly as Show, Harper and Rowan all join him in the ring. Wyatt demands a microphone and gets one, leaning over Truth's lifeless body. "But I'm a creep! I'm a weirdo... what the hell... am I doing here?" He laughs loudly, "Jeff Hardy! This Sunday at Battleground we meet and do battle... but this battle is not the beginning of the war, it is the end! For the Charistmatic Enigma has already been solved and once he is defeated he shall be revealed to all of these people! All of these people being filled with the lies from the likes of you, Jeff Hardy... it is time you accept your fate, Jeffrey, and open up your arms to me!" He gives another laugh before giving the final shout to follow the buzzards. The signature of The Wyatt Family hits, the lights going out in the arena.
Returning, Michael Cole and JBL talk about Battleground coming up this Sunday and this past Monday on Raw, one of their own was involved in one of the matches announced. They go back to Monday where Fandango once again teased his debut before becoming frustrated with the fans not pronouncing his name right. Jerry Lawler would step up - for the third week in a row - and call Fandango out on not making his debut because of something as silly as mispronouncing his name. Fandango would grow tired of Lawler and make the challenge for The King to face him. After some encouragement from the crowd, Jerry would go on to accept the challenge, and this Sunday it will indeed be Fandango versus Jerry 'The King' Lawler. Coming back live, Cole states that Fandango had some words for Lawler earlier on. A video airs on the titantron with Fandango standing next to Summer Rae, "Jerry Lawler... you have accepted my invitation to the dance this Sunday at Battleground... and once you are defeated, everybody will know the name... Fahhhnnn... Dahhhnnn... Go!" He twirls Summer Rae around as the video comes to an end.
Sheamus defeats Kofi Kingston via pinfall The bell rings and the two lock up, Sheamus overpowering early on. Kingston fights back with his quickness and rocks Sheamus to the mat with tons of springboards off the ropes and leaps off the top turnbuckle. He gets caught on a crossbody, however, and Sheamus drops him right across his knee. He gets a couple of near falls as he starts to completely dominate the match. He goes for the Brogue Kick, only for Kingston duck underneath and hit the Trouble in Paradise! He hooks the far leg up but Sheamus kicks out, Kingston getting frustrated. He gets up and drags Sheamus back up, pounding away at him with punches and kicks. He goes for another Trouble in Paradise, only for the Celtic Warrior to shove him away and hit the Brogue Kick! He hooks both legs up for the pinfall.
Sheamus rises onto his feet and pounds on his chest, spreading his arms out to the crowd. As he gives a yell, he turns around to Seth Rollins charging at him - swinging the Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus ducks underneath it, however, and drops Rollins with the Brogue Kick! He scoops the title belt up and stands over Rollins as he rolls out of the ring, the Celtic Warrior standing tall in the ring with the title belt he hopes to earn on Sunday night. Rollins crawls up against the barricade clutching his face as Sheamus tosses the belt over the ropes in front of his rival. He pounds on his chest once again and gives another yell to the crowd as they cheer him on.
Returning, the commentary team talks about how Battleground is just a few days away and the card has been set. Seth Rollins will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus, Bray Wyatt will face Jeff Hardy, Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler will go one-on-one, AJ Lee will defend the Diva's Championship against Kaitlyn, Bryan Danielson will put the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Randy Orton, John Cena will go against Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match, their own Jerry Lawler will face Fandango in his debut and WWE Champion CM Punk will go against Batista. Also, there will be the Battleground Kickoff with Josh Mathews, Hall of Famer Edge, Alberto Del Rio and Zack Ryder as the panelists and The Usos will put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against Ryback and a mystery partner.
The theme music of Jack Swagger hits and he makes his way out to the top of the stage along with Zeb Colter. The two stand tall as the music fades out and Colter pulls a microphone up, scowling. "This past Monday on Raw, Jack Swagger and myself were standing in the middle of that ring and were doing what was right for this country! We were getting rid of the last piece of the trash that is represented by Rey Mysterio! We stood in that ring ready to burn his mask but Mr. Mysterio decided to come running down and attack Jack Swagger! Then he had the audacity to throw all of that gasoline all over me!" The crowd cheers as Colter shakes his head, "It isn't funny! As a matter of fact, that was very dangerous, but all of you uneducated and not very real Americans wouldn't know that because you all cheered for Rey Mysterio as he did that to myself and Jack Swagger! So to make things right, Jack Swagger and myself as real Americans invite Rey Mysterio to come on down this Monday on Raw and face Jack Swagger one on one! Then we'll see who is laughing now!" He nods and places his hand over his heart along with Swagger, "So if you wish to be a real American and do the right thing we invite you to rise onto your feet, place your hands over your hearts and state in a loud, clear voice - We! The People!" The two nod and make their way towards the back.
The cameras cut backstage to show World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson as he will be going head to head with Dean Ambrose - next.
World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson defeats United States Champion Dean Ambrose via submission in a non-title match The bell rings and the two lock up, Danielson bringing things to the mat early on. He looks for a couple of submissions but Ambrose keeps on breaking out, getting back onto his feet. He blasts Danielson with a huge DDT. He works Bryan all around for a couple of minutes but the World Champion manages to catch him on a clothesline into the corner and lift him over the ropes. Ambrose remains on the apron, however, down on one knee. He struggles back up and Bryan comes back with the Running Knee! Ambrose flies back into the barricade and a commercial break interrupts as Bryan leads the 'Yes!' chants with the crowd. Upon the return, Danielson continues to control the match on his feet and on the ground. After missing a headbutt from the top rope, however, Ambrose throws him shoulder first into the steel post. He starts to work the shoulder for a while and drops him with the Headlock Driver out of nowhere! He hooks both legs up but Danielson manages to kick out just in time. Ambrose gets frustrated and starts to throw a fit before tossing Bryan around sloppily. He goes for another Headlock Driver but Danielson manages to pull himself into the air and flip the hold in reverse, shoving Dean away. He hits him with the Running Knee and proceeds to lock in the Yes! Lock. After a short struggle, Ambrose can't find the ropes and starts to tap out.
The WWE Universe pops as Danielson rises onto his feet, having his arm raised as the victor. The World Heavyweight Championship belt is presented to him, but before he can begin the 'Yes!' chants once again, Randy Orton comes into the ring from behind and spins him around - landing the RKO right in the middle of the ring! The North Carolina crowd boos wildly as Orton rises back up, snapping his head around viciously. He yells at Bryan, calling him 'stupid' and 'no good' as he marches around the ring. Orton drags Bryan back up by the hair and throws him in between the ropes. He steps to the outside and takes Danielson by the neck, pulling him back slowly. The referee - as well as the commentary team and the crowd - plead with Orton not to do it, but the Viper just gives a big smile and sticks his tongue out as he drops down with the DDT onto the hard floor on the outside! The arena goes rather silent as Orton slowly pulls himself onto his hands and knees, leaning over Danielson with a sick smile across his face. Multiple officials and the medical staff come storming down and tell Orton to get out of the way. He slowly stirs onto his feet and takes the World Heavyweight Championship belt from the ring, staring down at it. He slowly raises it up over all the crew and Danielson as Smackdown comes to an end.

Champion vs Champion segment to start off Smackdown with the World Heavyweight Champion Danielson and the WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose I definitely loved this segment a whole lot and if these 2 end up going at it in the main event tonight on Smackdown before Battleground then I would say we are definitely in for a real treat that's for sure and the segment ending in Danielson standing tall was great, tonight's main event should be a good one
Ryback beating both Prime Time Players single-handedly by himself beating both Titus O'Neil and Darren Young, now this is the Ryback of old, the Ryback when he first burst on to the scene beating multiple opponents at once manhandling them and he more or less had his way with the PTP and then pretty much warning his Battleground opponents the WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos that he and his mystery partner whoever it is will be one hell of a team, I wonder just who it is that Ryback has managed to recruit as his tag team partner, it looks like we'll find out on the Battleground Kickoff show
WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins with another huge victory this time Rollins beats Wade Barrett former #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship and former WWE Champion, I would say Rollins definitely has all the momentum heading into his match at Battleground where he has to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against The Great White Sheamus, but I wonder just how many days is it now that Rollins has been WWE Intercontinental Champion? How long is his reign now? Well if he can beat Sheamus this Sunday then I wonder just who will be able to beat Rollins for that belt?
Roman Reigns pretty much decimating The Miz in a Last Man Standing Match, like just hard to watch seeing Miz getting destroyed like that but at the same time Roman Reigns sent a strong message and he sent that strong message to John Cena which is that he is ready for Battleground and that at Battleground John Cena may in fact just be in for the fight of his life with Reigns hitting yet another spear through the barricade, like how the hell does that not hurt Roman Reigns at all?
Loved Ambrose's segment with WWE Commissioner Stephanie McMahon
Cody Rhodes' segment with Dolph really hyped up their match for Battleground this Sunday and I for one can't wait to see these 2 men go at it because Dolph brought up the fact that Cody has never been a World Champion and that is something that his brother Goldust or even his father The American Dream Dusty Rhodes couldn't do but Cody Rhodes for me I see him winning one of the Money in the Bank briefcases either the RAW one or the Smackdown one, for Cody I see him winning the Smackdown briefcase for the World Heavyweight Championship and Cody Rhodes will then be well on his way to becoming a future World Champion
Bray Wyatt with an emphatic victory beating R-Truth sending a message to Jeff Hardy in the process that at Battleground their match just won't be a regular match but that it will be a war and I can see these 2 having a classic but with Jeff Hardy he has never faced someone quite like Bray Wyatt before in his career
Fandango seems ready for Battleground but I wonder if The King Jerry Lawler is?
Sheamus beating Kofi Kingston in what I thought was a great match between these 2 because Sheamus really had it taken to him by Kofi but Sheamus proving to be too much for Kofi to handle and just when Sheamus is about to celebrate the victory he gets blindsided by his Battleground opponent the WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins but it turns out to be all for naught as Sheamus leaves Rollins laying by hitting the Brogue Kick on him, I wonder if that is what we see this Sunday? Could we be looking at the new WWE Intercontinental Champion?
Final rundown of the Battleground card, I for one can't wait for this pay per view really just waiting in anticipation now
Swagger and Colter challenging Mysterio calling him out for a match this Monday on RAW, the RAW after Battleground, I wonder if Rey Mysterio will accept?
Champion vs Champion main event with the World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson beating the WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose in what I thought was a great match, these 2 definitely had something out there in the ring these 2 definitely had chemistry in the ring which is what made this match all the more entertaining especially for me anyway because Ambrose more or less held his own with the World Heavyweight Champion really took him to the limit but Danielson proving to be too much as he hits the Running Knee on Ambrose and then locks in the Yes Lock to make Ambrose tap out, I wonder if that was a direct message sent to Danielson's opponent at Battleground, The Viper Randy Orton?
It seems message received as Orton attacks Danielson from behind as soon as his match is over, Orton it looks like he came from out of nowhere probably came through the crowd or he was hiding underneath the ring but either way he blindsides Danielson laying him out with an RKO and then yelling out in anger in frustration calling Danielson stupid and no good, definite sign that this is The Viper of old, that he is the Randy Orton of old, the merciless, remorseless Viper he always should have been, but if Orton wanted to send an even stronger message he should have punted Danielson's brains out but laying him out with a hard DDT on the outside, I would say Danielson now is going to be less than 100 percent coming into Battleground this Sunday especially having to face Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship? Could we be looking at the new World Heavyweight Champion? Can Orton become an 11-time World Champion?

allright both RAW and SMACKDOWN,
RAW REVIEW: Nice start with Punk and Batista. I'm wondering if the fans are going to boo Batista knowing since CM Punk is going to be in his hometown. I think Batista's going to turn heel or Punk will either turn face, I don't know. Nice US Title Defense with Dean Ambrose defeating Wade Barrett to hang on to the belt. So it looks like Fandango will make his PPV Debut against a legend in Jerry Lawler. I think Fandango is going to win. What a win for AJ against Layla builds a lot of momentum for her divas title match with Kaitlyn at Battleground. Ha Ha Ha Colter doused in gasoline by Mysterio. Mysterio stealing a page from Kane's book. A great win for Batista over his former Evolution Teammate Randy Orton. Now that Triple H and Randy Orton are both heels, I'm wondering if you're going to turn Batista heel too and re-form Evolution, Big E successful against Sandow in his Big E Challenge and also Ryback destroys The Primetime Players and The Usos. Also a big upset by Jeff over Big Show. Followed by a Punk/Henry match with Punk losing by DQ cause he's CM Punk but for Batista to lay him out, very epic. Nice way to end with Reigns and Cena as well.
SMACKDOWN REVIEW: Nice segment with Bryan, Orton and Ambrose. And great win for Ryback over The Primetime Players. I wonder who Ryback is picking as his tag team partner, Barrett loses to Rollins, what a losing drought for Barrett, first he loses the US Title Match and now loses to the Intercontinental Champion. Great dominant victory for Reigns over Miz in a Last Man Standing Match. Nice win for Wyatt over Truth, also great promo by Fandango. Should be good with Fandango winning, Another loss for Kingston by Sheamus. Kingston needs to step up his game a little bit maybe him turning heel and winning the World Heavyweight Championship was his demise of him losing a lot. Mysterio vs Swagger on RAW will be interesting too, Nice win for Bryan over Ambrose, but the post match attack by Orton was good too. Battleground is shaping up including my In Your House: Rage in The Cage which by the way is another cheap plug, I hope Shawn Michaels doesn't superkick me and calls me Stan lol because I'm stealing a lot of his DX impersonations.

June 16, 2013 from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois The cameras come into the Scottrade Center behind the official theme song "Trenches" by Pop Evil, the crowd being looked over as Josh Mathews welcomes everybody to the Extreme Rules Kickoff! The cameras transition through the fans and come to a stage in the middle of the crowd with Mathews on the far left, and he introduces the panelists for tonight's Kickoff - WWE Hall of Famer Edge, current superstar Alberto Del Rio and fellow current superstar Zack Ryder. He thanks them all for being here tonight and mentions how on this thirty minute show the WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line and they will also be discussing what is going down on the main card here tonight.
Mathews transitions forward, talking about how tonight the WWE Championship will be on the line with CM Punk defending against Batista. He asks the panel what they think about tonight's match and who will be the winner. Edge smiles, "Well, we all know that Batista can defeat Punk. We've seen it over the weeks and although Punk is a good competitor, I think Batista is going to be a huge test for him and I do think he will be able to beat Punk tonight and cut his reign of terror short!" He turns to Del Rio, whom just shakes his head in disagreement. He says that it is quite obvious, "Batista has been away for far too long and even though he has gotten lucky over the weeks... CM Punk is better than him, he is the best in the world - only behind Alberto Del Rio, of course - and he will be able to walk away the champion." He looks over to Ryder and he says that it is an easy decision, 'bros', saying that Batista will run right through the WWE Champion and hold that title belt up high tonight! "Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!" Mathews moves forward to the World Heavyweight Championship match coming up tonight between Randy Orton and Bryan Danielson.
Mathews asks the group what they feel on this upcoming match as well as their predictions, just as he did the first match. The Rated R Superstar says it will be great to see but he thinks Bryan Danielson will walk out of here still with the World Heavyweight Championship because even though Randy Orton is tough and vicious, Danielson has more heart than anybody he has seen in a very long time. Alberto Del Rio comes up next, "Oh, come one! Of course Randy Orton is going to win! I beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship a couple of years ago but I know he is too tough for a weakling like Bryan." Ryder tells him to calm his jets, "Listen, bro! It is obvious that Bryan is going to walk out with the title still around his waist for the same reason Edge said: Heart. He's got a big one, too, bro! Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!" He nods as Mathews says they will get to the Last Man Standing match a little bit later but it is time to get the Kickoff Match going.
Mathews sends it down to ringside where Matt Striker and William Regal sit to provide commentary in tonight's Kickoff. They thank Josh for the welcoming and proceed to talk about how Ryback has been targeting The Uso brothers for quite a few weeks now, trying to find the right partner to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. They go back over the weeks where Ryback would try and find the right partner, only for them to be defeated in the process. He would beat them down and finally in the past week or so, he would tell The Usos he had the right partner ready for the Battleground Kickoff. The cameras head into the ring where Justin Roberts announces that it is time for the WWE Tag Team Championship match here on the Battleground Kickoff!
The Usos make their entrance and get fired up, Ryback's music hitting afterward. He makes his way out to the ramp as Roberts makes his introduction and 'The Big Guy' laughs as he pulls up a microphone. "I told you both that I was going to get the right partner to get those WWE Tag Team Titles... and tonight, I found a big guy to team with the big guy! Hahaha... ladies and gentlemen, my new tag team partner in his first match since last September... Ezekiel Jackson!" He drops the microphone as Zeke makes his way out from the back, pounding on his chest. The two nod to each other and strut down to the ring, hopping onto the apron and into the ring together. They march around before staring down The Usos. WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos defeat Ryback and Ezekiel Jackson to retain The bell rings as Jackson starts things off with Jey and he completely dominates him early on. He makes tags back and forth with Ryback and they completely run through Jey until a tag is made to Jimmy. He comes storming into the ring and gets blasted with a big boot from Zeke! The big guys continue to dominate until Ryback gets tagged in and gets a little cocky, not noticing a blind tag by Jey. He sets Jimmy up for Shell Shocked and gives a nod to Jackson, only for Jey to come in and clip the leg. He rolls Ryback right up as he drops Jimmy and gets the three!
The fans pop as The Usos roll out of the ring quickly, Jackson storming into the ring in disbelief. Ryback gets up as well and storms over to the ropes, holding onto the top of his head in disbelief as well. The Usos are caught up by the referee as he hands the belts over, the WWE Tag Team Champions keeping the gold despite a tough fight put up by Ryback and Jackson - a powerful team that has shown tonight that despite losing, they could become a big threat to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions in the future.
Striker and Regal send things back up to Josh Mathews and he thanks them, talking about how surprising it was to see Ezekiel Jackson of all people to be named as Ryback's partner. Edge agrees, "And even though they didn't get the win here tonight, they definitely showed if they can compete like that they could be a force to be reckoned with down the road."
Mathews moves on to mention all of the sponsors for Battleground and the Battleground Kickoff before stating that they have one more match to discuss before we head into the main card and that is the Last Man Standing Match between John Cena and Roman Reigns. He asks for thoughts and predictions once again, Edge responding first. "Well, Roman Reigns made a big name for himself in the way he debuted. I see him as a bit of an ultimate opportunist as I was in my career... but John Cena is a guy I've faced many times over the years. Hell, he was the last guy I faced before I retired last December. He is so tough and when he wants something... he'll do whatever it takes to win. That being said, however, judging off what I saw last month at Extreme Rules and what I have seen over the weeks, especially in this past week on Raw and Smackdown... I have to say Roman Reigns has everything going for him and I think he will be able to win once again here tonight." The other three at the panel seem a little surprised by his prediction as Del Rio says for once they agree. He says he believes that Roman Reigns is too powerful for the likes of John Cena, another guy he has defeated in his career. Zack Ryder shakes his head at Alberto, "You are right about him being powerful but there is nobody too powerful for John Cena! And tonight, John Cena is going to beat Roman Reigns! Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!"
Mathews thanks the trio for their insight here on the Battleground Kickoff and turns back to the main camera. He mentions how they will be here during some point during the Battleground pay-per-view. He hypes up ordering the pay-per-view right now if you haven't already because it is going down very soon. "For Edge, Alberto Del Rio and Zack Ryder, I am Josh Mathews... enjoy Battleground, we'll see you later on tonight." The cameras fade out for the start of the event.

June 16, 2013 from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL A promo video begins to air behind the official theme song "Trenches" by Pop Evil, the video highlighting first the feud between Jeff Hardy and Bray Wyatt. The Charismatic Enigma would make his return and face CM Punk at Extreme Rules for the WWE Championship, only for The Wyatt Family to cost him the match. Over the weeks, Hardy would defeat Big Show, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Wyatt would warn that the Charismatic Enigma is no mystery to him and that he has him figured out. The video progresses on to the World Heavyweight Championship match with Randy Orton becoming the number one contender for the title after demanding a shot over the months. Over the weeks, Bryan Danielson would get into his head by distracting him during his matches. At the end of the day, however, Orton would lay him out with a DDT to the outside floor and raise the title belt over the lifeless body of the World Champion while telling him over the weeks that the fans meant nothing. Moving forward, Batista would make his return and guarantee CM Punk he would become the number one contender for the WWE Championship, and after he did he would lay Punk out. Over the weeks coming to Battleground, The Animal would prove himself capable of becoming the WWE Champion once again by laying Punk out repeatedly. Finally, the video highlights Roman Reigns and John Cena. The night after WrestleMania, Cena would face CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a rematch from the night before - this time in a steel cage match. Reigns would debut in the WWE and cost Cena the match and Paul Heyman would reveal himself as the manager of Reigns, proclaiming over time that Roman was here to make a name for himself and John Cena was the biggest name for him to target. After defeating Cena at Extreme Rules, the two would claim it was nothing personal and all business, only for Cena to tell them that this was absolutely personal. The video comes to an end with both men laying each other out over the weeks with Paul Heyman counting to ten symbolic of the Last Man Standing match between the two. A voice over comes over and states that tonight matches take place... on the Battleground.
The cameras head into the Allstate Arena as the pyros hit all across the stage. Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John Bradshaw Layfield welcome everybody to the inaugural Battleground pay-per-view! Tonight, tons of big matches will take place with multiple championships on the line as well some very personal rivalries. As they go to keep running down what will happen tonight, the signature of The Wyatt Family hits as they appear on the titantron. Wyatt stares into the camera as his lantern illuminates his face, "Rosemont, Illinois... we're here!" He blows the lantern out.
Jeff Hardy vs Bray Wyatt with Big Show, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan
The bell rings and the two circle around the ring slowly before coming to the middle, exploding with fists back and forth! Hardy gets the upper hand but Wyatt lifts him by the arms and slams him face first into the turnbuckle. Wyatt begins to pummel Hardy with punches to the stomach and follows up with kicks, the referee reaching a count of four and forcing Wyatt to pull away. He laughs hysterically as he moves all the way across to the other side of the ring. He snaps his head back and comes storming at Hardy, swinging his body around only for Jeff to move out of the way - Wyatt smashing his back into the corner. Hardy kicks him in the stomach and hits the Twist of Fate! He hooks both legs up quickly but Wyatt manages to kick out at the count of two. Hardy staggers back up onto his feet and lets Wyatt get back up before blasting him with multiple forearms to the face. Jeff rocks Wyatt a bit and he leans into the ropes, Hardy running across the ring and returning only to be picked up off the mat and hit with an absolutely vicious sidewalk slam! Wyatt remains sitting down and looks around the arena before jumping back up, forcing Hardy up as well. He tosses him into the corner and starts to deliver headbutt after headbutt, eventually dropping The Charismatic Enigma into a sitting position. Wyatt backs away and spreads his arms out, shouting to the crowd, "He is no mystery to me!" He comes storming back and drives his side right into Hardy's face! The crowd gives a loud 'ooh' as Wyatt drags Jeff back to the middle of the ring, dropping down on him for a pin attempt only to get a two count. Wyatt gets up yet again and forces Hardy up by the back of his shirt, tossing him face first through the ropes and to the outside! He follows after him and pushes him into the steel steps, mounting over him. He throws punches to the head over and over again as the referee starts to count from the inside while telling Wyatt to bring things back in. The leader of the strange family drags Hardy to the barricade by the hair and laughs in his face before delivering a headbutt with authority. He wanders off a bit and spreads his arms out to the crowd, singing, "But I'm a creep! I'm a weirdo! What the hell am I doing here!? I don't belong here!" He snickers and drags Jeff up yet again, throwing him into the ring at the count of eight. He follows up and goes for another pin, only to get another two count. Wyatt looks over to Show, Harper and Rowan and rises up, moving over to the ropes to look down on them. He leans over and says something to them before turning back to Jeff, getting blasted with a huge dropkick that sends him to the outside! Wyatt struggles back up with the help of his family, but as they all re-adjust Hardy comes flying over the ropes - crashing into the four of them! Jeff pops onto his feet and throws his hands up in signature taunt, giving a yell to the crowd to get them fired up. Wyatt starts to crawl towards the ring and Hardy comes up from behind, clubbing him across the back. Wyatt rolls back into the ring and Jeff goes onto the apron, turning to see Show, Harper and Rowan getting up. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and takes a glance at Wyatt before leaping off into the group of three - sending them all to the floor once again! Hardy hops up and rushes to the apron yet again, climbing onto the top rope once more. He leaps off at Wyatt but gets caught in his arms, Bray laughing wildly only to get met with elbow after elbow to the head. Hardy spins around and drops him with a big DDT! He hooks both legs up but only gets a two count. Both men stagger up on opposite sides of the ring and Hardy comes running at Wyatt in the corner, leaping with a thigh to the chest! He backs up again and comes charging once more, this time Wyatt catching him and delivering a huge toss over his head into the turnbuckles! Wyatt drags Hardy back to the middle of the ring again and hooks both legs up once more, Hardy kicking out just before the referee hits the mat a third time! The Illinois crowd pops as Wyatt sits up bewildered at the kick out. He gets onto his feet and marches around once again, pulling Hardy onto his feet. He sets up for Sister Abigail but Hardy swings his feet in the air, flipping onto Wyatt's shoulder. He drops down and Bray sends an elbow back that pushes Hardy right into the referee! Wyatt spins right around and drives Hardy spine first into the corner, followed up by a big shoulder block and an elbow drop to the face. He pulls Hardy to the ropes and sits him in between the ropes, calling to the rest of the Wyatt Family. He places his knee down on Hardy's back and Big Show comes stepping forward. Wyatt laughs and tells him to "finish him". Show stares for a moment before raising his hand up, closing it into a fist. He cocks back and swings up, only for Hardy to slip under Wyatt's legs, Show blasting his leader right in the jaw! Bray staggers backwards and waves his hands about but ultimately ends up collapsing right on the mat! Show, Harper and Rowan begin to panic on the outside as the referee and Hardy both begin to stir to their feet. Jeff takes full advantage of the situation and climbs to the top rope, delivering the Swanton Bomb! He hooks both legs up for the three count.
Winner of the match via pinfall, Jeff Hardy (12:51)
The crowd cheers wildly as Hardy struggles back up onto his feet, quickly exiting the ring as the rest of The Wyatt Family comes storming into the ring. Hardy staggers around the ring and to the ramp as Show, Harper and Rowan stand over their fallen leader - whom remains unconscious. The replay airs as the commentary team breaks down how Wyatt went to use the referee being down to his advantage and have Big Show knock Jeff Hardy out, only for Show to end up hitting Wyatt himself after Hardy moved out of the way. Back live in the arena, Hardy gets to the top of the ramp and throws his arms up and down to get the crowd going as The Wyatt Family remains in the ring in frustration with Bray still not moving one bit.
The cameras cut backstage to Matt Striker and he introduces his guest at this time to be 'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus. He walks in and gets a solid pop from the crowd in the background. Striker thanks him for his time and asks about the opportunity to become the Intercontinental Champion here tonight in his match against Seth Rollins. "Y'know, Matty, it's kinda funny how things work out here in the WWE." He laughs, "Heck, I was the World Heavyweight Champion just six months ago and now I'm trying to become the Intercontinental Champion. But unlike when I was World Champion, there wasn't a guy like Seth Rollins to run his mouth thinking he was the best champion of all time. He's kinda gotten under my skin a bit, Matty... I think it is about time that somebody shuts his arse up and lays him out with a nice Brogue Kick to the face." He laughs again and heads off, Striker once again thanking Sheamus for his time before his match.
Intercontinental Championship Sheamus vs Seth Rollins(c)
The bell sounds and the two come to the middle of the ring, locking up with each other. Sheamus backs Rollins up into the corner and plows him with knees to the gut over and over again before taking him by the back of the neck and flipping him right into the middle of the ring. Rollins backs up to the opposite corner and holds onto the ropes, staring Sheamus down. The challenger invites him to the middle again and Rollins looks around before coming forward, locking up once again. Sheamus once again takes the neck and flips Rollins across the ring. The Intercontinental Champion gets up and runs at Sheamus, being met with a huge elbow to the face! The Celtic Warrior fires away with forearms and elbows to the face and rocks Rollins back into the corner. He sits him on the top turnbuckle and climbs up with him, hooking a hold of the head. Rollins throws a couple of punches to the mid-section, however, and sends Sheamus down to the mat. Rollins stands on the top rope and looks around the arena, pointing to himself and saying that he is the Intercontinental Champion for a reason. He leaps off the top rope and drops a huge knee on the face! Sheamus rolls right across the mat and Rollins follows right after him, charging with a baseball slide that sends the Celtic Warrior ribs first underneath the bottom turnbuckle and into the steel post. Rollins leaps up via the aide of the ropes and comes swinging down with another kick to the back, jamming Sheamus into the post yet again! Seth gets back onto his feet and backs away slowly, letting Sheamus get onto his feet before charging with a clothesline. He hooks a hold of the head and sets up for a suplex, only for Sheamus to reverse it and drop Rollins gut first across the ropes! He lets him drop down onto the apron, taking him by the hair and pulling him between the top and middle rope by the chin. The crowd cheers as The Great White raises his fist in the air. He pounds across the chest of the champion over and over again, finally stopping at the crowd's count of ten. He pulls Rollins right back into the ring and goes for the pin, only to get a two count. Sheamus staggers back up onto his feet and pulls Rollins up by the hair, whipping him off the ropes and catching him for a sidewalk slam. Rollins spins on the lift up, however, and delivers a huge hurricanrana! Both men get back up and Rollins hits an arm drag that he turns into a sleeper hold. Sheamus quickly gets back onto his feet but struggles in the hold, reaching around wildly. As Rollins gets the hold in tighter, Sheamus begins to fade away more and more. The referee watches closely as the challenger begins to fade and stops putting up a fight. He raises the arm up once and it drops, a second time and it drops. On the third raise, however, Sheamus shakes his fist in a fury. He forces himself back onto his feet completely stabilized, and he backs up fast - smashing Rollins' spine into the corner! He pulls forward and does it again and again until the Intercontinental Champion finally lets go of the grip. Sheamus turns around and catches Rollins - dropping him with the White Noise! He hooks both legs up but once again Rollins manages to kick out. Both men remain laid out momentarily before finally stirring up on opposite sides of the ring. They come back to meet each other, trading shots once again. Sheamus gets the upper hand and drops Rollins with a couple of arm drags, finally hitting him with a back body drop. The Celtic Warrior backs into the corner and pounds on his chest, preparing for his finisher. Rollins gets back up and turns right to a Brogue Kick attempt, only to duck underneath and go for the superkick. Sheamus ducks underneath that himself and bounces off the ropes - returning with the Brogue Kick once again, this time hitting! He covers Rollins quickly but the champion kicks out once more. Sheamus sits up in disbelief and holds his head in his hands in frustration. He gets back up slowly and looks out to the crowd, pounding on his chest once again. He backs to the corner and starts up the 'Brogue' chants, preparing for another one. Rollins slowly rises onto his feet and turns around groggy as can be, the Celtic Warrior charging forward for the Brogue Kick again only for Rollins to duck underneath and roll him up - a handful of the tights! The referee doesn't take notice of it and counts the three.
Winners of the match and still Intercontinental Champion, Seth Rollins (8:17)

"Well, gentlemen, we have had ourselves one heck of a show so far tonight as we've seen Jeff Hardy, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and now Bryan Danielson victorious. Also, for those who didn't catch the Kickoff Show - we saw a very impressive performance from Ryback and his new partner, Ezekiel Jackson, as they came up just short of becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions." He goes forward and asks the group what has impressed them the most so far tonight. Edge throws his hands up, "How couldn't it be Bryan Danielson? I mean, with all due respect to Randy Orton... you just can't beat a guy with that much talent, that much heart and determination and that much love from the WWE Universe!" Del Rio shakes his head in disagreement, telling Edge like usual - he is completely wrong. "Obviously Seth Rollins retaining the Intercontinental Championship over that idiot Sheamus was the most impressive feat of tonight! I've been in the ring with Sheamus before and even though I know I'm better than him, he is very tough and Seth Rollins beating him is a big deal." Ryder tells them that they are both wrong, with all due respect to all of the other three winners and claims that Jeff Hardy is the most impressive. Not only did he beat out Bray Wyatt, he really beat out the entire Wyatt Family. Mathews states that all winners so far tonight were very impressive and he proceeds to ask what the guys are most looking forward to coming up later on. "The return of The Animal for the WWE Championship, Josh," Edge states, saying that he can't wait to see Batista back getting a shot at the belt and he hopes that he runs right through Punk with a 'Spear! Spear! Spear!' Del Rio rolls his eyes and once again tells Edge that he is wrong, saying that the main event with Roman Reigns and John Cena will be the thing to look forward to. He mentions how Reigns won last month at Extreme Rules, who is to say he won't do it again tonight? Ryder laughs, "You're both are wrong, bros! It is the in ring debut of Fandango against my bro, Jerry 'The King' Lawler! That is going to be one heck of a match to see, Im telling you right now! Woo Woo Woo! You Know It!" He laughs as Mathews thanks the three of them for their time here tonight and sends it back down to ringside to Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and John 'Bradshaw' Layfield.

He gives a loud yell before hitting the Attitude Adjustment right onto the steel steps! The crowd pops as he leans up against the ring apron, Heyman shrieking in disbelief. The referee begins the count and gets to nine before Reigns struggles back up, leaning against the barricade. Cena comes charging forward and leaps off the steel steps, only to be caught with the spear in mid-air! Both men remain down as Heyman tries to get his client back up immediately, only for him to stay down. The referee gets up to the count of six before Reigns can get back up and Cena just barely beats it at nine, staying up against the barricade. He comes forward and trades punches with Reigns, the big man lifting John up again - driving him into the apron once again back first. Cena hooks a hold of the neck and slams Reigns' face off the apron! John pops right down and staggers off to the Spanish announce table, pulling off the set up on top of it. He takes one of the monitors and turns to Reigns, swinging it at him - only for Roman to miss, Cena crashing the monitor off the steel post. He turns back around and is lifted up off the ground and tossed down back first through the Spanish announce table! The crowd explodes as Reigns backs up against the apron, Heyman coming over to him. He talks to him and praises his destruction. The referee gets up to the count of nine but Cena manages to get up once again, leaning against the barricade!
Reigns comes storming up and fires away with punches to the head, only for Cena to catch one of the arms. He catches the other one and starts to use all of his strength to move back the tree trunk arms, giving a loud yell. Reigns finally breaks out and swings his fist, Cena ducking underneath and lifting him up. He runs to the other announce table and drops Reigns right across the other table! Roman collapses down onto one knee off it and Cena clears off the table, lifting Reigns right back up. He sets him up for the Attitude Adjustment but Roman gets free with the assistance of Heyman. Cena plows Paul down with a huge forearm across the face! The Rosemont crowd pops loudly at the shot but Reigns clotheslines him from behind, dropping him up against the ring apron. Reigns proceeds to whip him up against the barricade and he gives a very loud roar, pounding on his chest. He runs right at Cena and goes for the spear, only for it to be avoided - Reigns crashing through the barricade on his own! The crowd rises onto their feet and breaks out into a "Holy shit!" chant. The referee comes rushing over and begins to make the count, Cena staying up with help from the ring. The official gets to a count of nine before Reigns stumbles back up, falling up against the railing near the stairs. Cena comes following after him and Reigns continues to move away, the two going through the crowd. Roman pops back out near the ring on the other side and starts to make his way up the ramp along with Heyman. The two stagger to the top but Cena comes running from behind, steel chair in hand. He slams it horizontally into the back of the knee! He swings it again and drops it right across the back of Reigns! He continues to fire away and gets him across the stage. Cena finally swings the chair one more time and hits Reigns right across the face! He staggers off towards the edge of the stage but Cena catches the arm, lifting him onto his shoulders. He looks around the arena as they cheer wildly. He waves his hand in front of his face to Heyman as he pleads off to the side, telling him "You Can't See Me!" Cena proceeds to deliver the Attitude Adjustment right off the stage and into all the production set up below! The WWE Universe absolutely explodes as Cena flexes his muscles and gives a powerful yell. He raises his hands up in signature taunt as Heyman rushes down the ramp and to the side of the stage over to his client, screaming "Oh My God! Oh My God!" The referee gets to the count of ten as Cena stares down at what he has done to become the Last Man Standing!
Winner of the match, John Cena (26:47)
The crowd pops as the bell rings, Cena pushing his hands up in taunt once again. The referee holds his arm up as the winner before calling for help from the back. Cena backs away to the middle of the stage and keeps on holding his hands up as the commentary team goes back to what went down during the match - with Reigns completely destroying Cena at certain points by hitting him with his signature moves and even slamming him through the announce table. Things would turn in Cena's favor, however, after Reigns would miss the spear and drive himself through the barricade - eventually leading to Cena delivering the Attitude Adjustment off the main stage. Back live in the arena, Cena throws his hands up and down to keep the crowd going as Reigns is left unconscious off to the side of the stage, multiple officials and the medical staff checking down on him as he could be possibly be seriously injured from the bump he took. Cena remains atop the stage regardless as the Last Man Standing as Battleground comes to an end!

Incredibly strong opener, as this is a match I've been looking forward to. Side note, I love shows in Chicago. Except Judgment Day '98. Anyway. Fun opener and surprised to see Jeff Hardy go over. I assume this is far from over as I can see Bray winning in a rematch. Big Show costing him the match keeps him strong and could make for some issues in the Wyatt Family. Sheamus and Seth Rollins could have some good big man/little man matches and I liked this. Seth retaining was for the best though as I love his long reign. The handful of tights again could lead to a rematch. Money in the Bank will be fun as always, can't wait to see who wins the briefcases. Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler is a match that I've wanted to see on Pay-Per-View for a long time. Cody winning was cool, I'm just not sure where this is going. It's like Dolph is feuding with a tag team. I could be missing something here. As we all know, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan have very good chemistry and this match looked like it was no different. Beating Orton by submission is big for Bryan and I hope he gets a very long reign as World Champion. Like the inclusion of the panel. Back to back submission finishes? I dig it. AJ Lee retaining is for the best, my lover for her is known. Love that the crowd was totally behind CM Punk as it made for a realistic scenario. What surprised me, however, was that heel Punk beat face Batista cleanly. Lovely for me, but a bit unrealistic. A good read though. Just want to point out that Roman Reigns as a Paul Heyman guy makes sense. Ugh, I hate Jerry Lawler. Good that Fandango went over. Long, but fun main event read. Paul Heyman shouting OH MY GOD at the big final spot was a nice touch. Roman Reigns looked like a monster and stayed strong, though I feel like this is one of the few matches where a guy can go over Cena without pinning him. Regardless, a very good PPV and I can't wait for Money in the Bank.

Battleground
- The Usos retaining their WWE Tag Team Championships against Ryback and his mystery tag team partner who turns out to be a shocker, Ezekiel Jackson, Ezekiel Jackson of all people is back and Ezekiel Jackson looked really good out there especially since we haven't seen him in so long and now that he's back and is apparently Ryback's new tag team partner even though they lost Ryback and Big Zeke look like a team to be reckoned with in the tag team division and even though they lost tonight I still say it will only be a matter of time before The Big Guy and Big Zeke become WWE Tag Team Champions, but still a great opener to open up your PPV
- Jeff Hardy overcomes the odds to beat Bray Wyatt, can I just say lucky victory for Jeff Hardy more or less a fluke but nevertheless it was a great match on both men's parts from start to finish because Bray Wyatt really took it to Jeff Hardy really took him to the limit and then some but Big Show knocking out Bray Wyatt I wonder if there will be some serious repercussions on Show's part from Bray Wyatt?
- Seth Rollins beating Sheamus to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship really just elevates Rollins even more as far as his stock value goes but also elevates him in the sense that he just beat a former World Champion to retain his title but also just look at how long he has been champion now? I wonder how many days now is that? How many days as of now is he the WWE Intercontinental Champion? Either way Rollins I wonder if now anyone can beat him for his title because it seems Rollins is well on his way to Honky Tonk Man's record-setting title reign
- Cody Rhodes beating Goldust, I would say Goldust being at ringside for his brother's matches is surely helping Cody because Goldust is paying huge dividends but nevertheless Cody Rhodes is now back on the winning side for once but seeing Ziggler's fall from grace, it is almost sad to watch seeing as how Ziggler has now been on a losing streak ever since WrestleMania 29 but I wonder where Cody goes from here? I wonder where Ziggler goes from here?
- Danielson beating Orton to retain his World Heavyweight Championship, I honestly did not think Danielson could get the job done against Orton, I guess I really underestimated him because I thought that Orton was for sure in the driver's seat to win this but Danielson making Orton tap out like that, it makes me wonder if Danielson really is for real? Maybe he is not a flash in the pan as World Heavyweight Champion after all and perhaps he really is not a fluke after all but then again Danielson has been champion ever since Mania so he's been champion for like 3 months now let's see how much longer he can be champion but I say he is on borrowed time but as for Orton I can see him still setting his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship because I don't think that he is done with Danielson not by a long shot
- AJ defeating Kaitlyn yet again to retain her WWE Divas Championship, can't say that I am surprised to be perfectly honest because Kaitlyn even though she has had momentum AJ just keeps finding ways to win she just keeps finding ways to come out on top and retain her title but making her tap out like that yet again it makes me wonder if AJ will be in for a long title reign as WWE Divas Champion? But I wonder where Kaitlyn and Layla go from here? I can see Layla turning heel on Kaitlyn soon enough and why? Because of the fact that Layla is probably sick and tired of being in Kaitlyn's shadow sick and tired of always having to be the one to pick her up whenever she falls down and Layla is probably sick and tired of being a nice girl because so far it has gotten her nowhere and she probably wants to be WWE Divas Champion again and that can't happen especially if she is in Kaitlyn's shadow all the time
- The face of WWE, CM Punk defeats Batista to retain his WWE Championship in his hometown, now this was a great match probably one of the best matches of the night by far because of just how entertaining it was and just to see the crowd turn on The Animal like that and cheer Punk so loudly and so vehemently it was what made this match all the more special in Punk's hometown but this match was so back and forth but it ends in Punk retaining his title it makes me wonder just who Punk will face next at the next pay per view, Money in the Bank? I wonder where Batista goes from here?
- Fandango beating Jerry Lawler doesn't come as much of a surprise to me either because Fandango it was his debut and he definitely needed the win more than Lawler did because Lawler is a Hall of Famer already and he doesn't really need the win anyway but also because beating Lawler kind of elevates Fandango anyways as "the future" of this business but I wonder how much longer before the crowd starts "Fandangoing" I wonder how much longer before the crowd starts singing Fandango's theme singing along and humming it?
- And in the main event John Cena gets his win back by beating Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing Match to close out the show, if anything I would say that this is definitely the wrong call if you ask me because if anything I feel in my opinion that Reigns needed the win much more than Cena did because if Reigns had won this match it would have furthered elevated him even more as a main eventer but at the same time Reigns has already beaten Cena like how many times anyway? So I guess I can live with this decision as much as I don't agree with it and as much as I don't like it but nevertheless seeing that spot of Cena giving Reigns the AA right off the stage and into the production equipment, definite OMG moment, but this match had so many OMG moments that it basically just made the match seem the more special and worthwhile now I could see why you had this match go on last!!!!!!!
- GREAT BATTLEGROUND PAY PER VIEW AND I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MONEY IN THE BANK!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE RAW MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH AND WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE SMACKDOWN MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH!!!!!!

Battleground feedback...
Really enjoyed this show AJ. From a in ring standpoint very enjoyable.
Only complaint is maybe Batista/Punk should have headlined in hindsight. There was no reason why Cena/Reigns should of went on last if that was the finish. Nothin wrong with the finish but the crowd wouldn't have been behind Cena like they were Punk. Plus the fans would have been hot for Punk/Batista which came across as the best match of the night also.
Hardy winning was the right call in another good match.
Ziggler/Rhodes was the only match that felt like filler.
Rollins kicking out of the Brogue kick was big, nice little step in legitimizing Rollins.
Not much came out of the show which isn't a dig but it was a enjoyable read. With Batista/Punk & Hardy/Wyatt being particular highlights. Good read!

| JOHN MORRISON AND WWE PARTING WAYS | RYAN BRAXTON TWEETS, CONFIRMS DEBUT
| HBK ANNOUNCED AS A MITB PANELIST | According to multiple reports, it is expected that the WWE and John Morrison will part ways at the end of the month. Morrison's contract was set to expire in December of 2011, but he agreed to a new two year deal. However, Morrison reportedly has expressed desire to take some time off and possibly explore other opportunities. It can be all but confirmed that as of July 1, John Morrison will no longer be an employee of the WWE.
Morrison was the World Heavyweight Champion back in 2010, but has sustained very little success since. | Ryan Braxton (formerly Michael Elgin) tweeted out very early Monday morning that he will be coming to the WWE very soon and has told his followers that he will be having a video hyping his future debut tonight on Monday Night Raw.
His tweet reads as follows: "Look for the video tonight featuring Unbreakable Ryan Braxton tonight on #Raw!"
The anticipation for the young, former ROH star to get on the main roster is coming towards an end. | Various reports are coming out that following the rumors of Shawn Michaels making a return to the WWE has been confirmed with the Heart Break Kid making an appearance as a member of the panel for the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The other two panelists are unknown at this time, but it appears that Shawn will be one of them.
Michaels was rumored to possibly take on a role as a possible authority figure - like what he did in the late '90s - but as of this moment, it is only confirmed that he will be at Money in the Bank in Philadelphia. |
